JUNE
Seth and Thora had arrived to the arena together. There were already fans waiting. They greeted them, signed some autographs, and took pictures with the people standing alongside the fence as they were making their way inside the arena.
"Thank you," a fan said.
"You're welcome," Seth said.
He continued forward to the next fan and took a picture with them. Thora was further up in the process of signing a shirt for someone.
"Thora, you cunt!" A woman yelled.
Everyone stared in the direction of the voice. A woman was standing there wearing an old Shield shirt.
"Excuse me?" Thora asked.
"You're a cunt who doesn't deserve Seth. Go back to Norway," the woman said.
"Maybe get the country right next time you want to insult someone," Thora said.
Thora turned around and walked inside. Seth stood there in disbelief for a second. The woman looked at him and gave him a smile as if she had not just insulted his girlfriend.
"Can I have a picture with you?" She asked.
"No, you cannot!" He almost shouted. "What the hell is wrong with you, lady?"
He ran inside and found Thora walking further down the hall. He ran to her and gently grabbed her arm. She tore it out of his hand and shook her head no.
"I wanna be alone right now," she said.
"Fuck her, pumpkin. Don't let her get to you," he said.
"But she's right though," she looked at him with tears in her eyes. "I don't deserve you."
He pulled her into his arms and held her tight.
"Yes, you do. And I deserve you too. We deserve each other," he said.
He placed his hands on her cheeks and tried to dry her tears away with his thumbs.
"I love you, pumpkin," he said.
"I love you too," she said.
"Repeat after me," he said. "Fuck that woman."
"Fuck that woman," she whispered.
"That's right," he said.
He leaned in and pecked her lips before pulling her in for another hug.
"Fuck that woman all the way to Norway," he said.
She let out a snort of laughter and tilted her head back to look up at him.
"You're the most amazing man I've ever met," she said.
"Thank you," he beamed. "You're the most amazing woman I've ever met so it's a good thing we're together, don't you think?"
She nodded and smiled at him. He leaned down for another peck. The worst was over. It was a bad situation but it had quickly passed. He knew not all fans backed them up when it came to their private choices of who to share their lives with. He didn't want fans like the woman outside. True fans would be happy for them.
