JULY
Seth stood with his arms around Thora's waist and his chin resting on top of her head. They were both looking out at the soft waves of the ocean. They were on a harbor alongside some of the other wrestlers. It was a beautiful morning so they had decided to walk down there and have a look before they needed to be at the arena.
"I love you," he said lowly.
"I love you too," she said.
She reached up and gave his hand a squeeze.
"I need to pee," she said.
"I saw a toilet over there," he said.
He turned around and pointed towards an ice cream kiosk.
"I'll be right back," she said.
She walked away and instead Roman walked up and leaned his ass up against the railing. He looked at Seth and smirked.
"What?" Seth asked.
"Nothing. You just look so happy," Roman said.
"I am happy," Seth sighed happily. "I'm in love, Roman."
"I can tell," Roman said.
"So much that I'm thinking about asking her to marry me," Seth said.
Roman coughed and just stared at Seth.
"I know it's soon," Seth said.
"Ehm... yeah," Roman said.
"I just love her so much," Seth said. "Is it too soon?"
"I can't tell you that. Do you think you'll scare her away if you rush it?" Roman asked.
"I don't know," Seth looked out at the waves again. "It's too soon. I know that. I just don't wanna lose her."
Seth looked at Roman with tears in his eyes.
"I can't lose her, Roman," Seth said.
"You need to tell her that," Roman said.
"I don't know how," Seth said.
"I don't know either," Roman said.
Roman placed his hand on top of Seth's and patted it.
"Look, I know what you're dealing with and it's not easy but you can't just spring a proposal on her. That's not fair," Roman said.
"I know," Seth said. "God, I'm so fucking stupid."
"You're not stupid. You're in love. And so is she. We can all see that," Roman said. "You'll figure it out, Seth. Somehow you'll figure it out. You always do."
