Ch 43 Attack on the Palace Pt 2

Nikitich flew down, and Burko was hovering over the Soldiers. "Keep pushing forward! Don't falter!" The Rider commanded the Army,

She then spots Altera Larva taking the rear of the group. "Altera, has Alter Ego of White taken the bait?" Nikitich asked her fellow Chaldean.

Altera Larva nodded, confirming what was happening, "Yes, Ruler of Paris or Ruler of Miraculous is now in combat with Alter Ego of White," The Remnant of the White Titian informed the Rider.

"Good, now we have something to worry about less," Nikitich commented, placing her Axe over her shoulders.

"Look out!" Burko saw something heading in their direction.

The two moved out of the way as pieces of Buildings went flying towards them. Altera Larva and Nikitich with Burko flew above her. "Alter Ego and Ruler is really dishing out everything." The Rider said,

"Hmm…" Burko nodded before seeing the Lily Servant making her way to the Soldiers.

"In any case, we have other things to focus on." Altera Larva informed the Bogatyr, motioning to the slowly backing Army.

The Demi-Human nodded, pulling on her Mount's reigns. Nikitich turns her head to the group, "Right, let's hurry," Both Nikitich and Altera Larva made their way to their Squad, leaving Chat Blanc to Ruler.

Explosions took place in every part of the City, and flashes of light appeared and disappeared. The source of these lights were two Servants, powered to their limits. (Insert Fate/Stay Night: Heaven's Feel - The Four Rings)

Ruler of Miraculous was running across rooftops, her eyes set on Chat Blanc.

Chat Blanc held his hand out, a white beam hurled towards Ruler. The beam disintegrates everything in its way,

"Hup!" Ruler held her forearm, a green Turtle shell appeared like a Shield and defended against the beam. "HA!" She pushed the beam down before leaping for Chat Blanc.

Ruler held her hand as a Sword appears, "Sei!" She slides in front of him, slashing at the Alter Ego.

Chat's eyes widen, leaping back as the tip of the blade scratches him. "Ngh!" He held out his hand, materializing his own Sword with the power of the Goat Miraculous.

The two Servants' Weapons clashed, and red and white lights flashed.

Ruler slides behind Chat Blanc before launching herself and aiming for his back. "AH!" She slashed her Sword at him, only for Chat Blanc to open a portal with the Horse Miraculous power leading to a Moby Dick in the air.

Ruler's strike cut the Machine in half as the Alter Ego went through.

His claws were out, disregarding his Sword, and began slashing at the Counter Guardian.

"Tch," Ruler used the Shield, deflecting the slashes from her Opponent while the Moby Dick falls.

On the top of the Building, Ladybug and Chat Noir arrived, watching the Battle. "There they are!" Chat points to their other selves, falling with the Moby Dick while fighting.

They watched as Ruler retaliates the repetitive strikes with her Sword, thrusting it at him.

Chat Blanc's body glowed white, indicating that he used the power of the Ox Miraculous to resist the attack. He grabs hold of the Sword ad flips over the Counter Guardian,

"GAK!" Ruler gasps, blood came out as a result of the impact.

"Tch, we gotta help her!" Chat was about to interfere when Ladybug grabbed his arms. He turns around to face Ladybug, "What are you doing!? Ladybug, Ruler needs our-"

"CHAT!" Ladybug cried out her Boyfriend's name. Chat stops as she continued to speak, "Chat, remember what Ruler's plan was. She will take care of the fighting while we move in when the moment is right!"

The Hero of Creation continued to speak, "We have to trust her."

Back at the falling Moby Dick, the Alter Ego caught a glimpse of Ladybug holding onto another Man's arm. "D-D-DON'T TOUCH MY LADY!" Chat Blanc roars, forgetting about the Counter Guardian he pinned down.

The Alter Ego launched himself toward the Heroes of Paris, "MARINETTE!" He roars, calling for her name.

Ruler of Miraculous looks at her Opponent, already on top of the two. "No!" She throws her Sword at Chat, only for his Resistance to deflect it. "Resistance is still up!" She ran up the tail of the Machine, only to have an idea once she felt her side.

The Counter Guardian leaps in the air, grabbing hold of her yo-yo and tossing it. The yo-yo wraps around her Sword and becomes a chain.

"No, you don't!" Ruler pulls back her yo-yo string as the Sword whips around.

Ladybug saw Chat Blanc coming, prompting her to step forward to protect Chat Noir. "MARINETTE!"

Alter Ego of White roars, claws out and ready to kill whoever is with her, disregarding that his Lady was in the way.

"LADYBUG!" Chat cried out at what Ladybug did. Then Ruler's yo-yo wraps around Alter Ego's body, the Sword knocked away his claws.

They looked at Ruler of Miraculous, tugging on her yo-yo she pulled the Servant away from the two. "You two stay there! Don't move from that spot!" Ruler shouted as Alter Ego flies in the air.

"AAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!" Chat Blanc roars, attempting to escape from Ruler's snare.

Using the power of the Tiger Miraculous, the Alter Ego's body glowed white once more. He flexed, causing the yo-yo to unravel.

Chat Blanc's body began to fade before zipping through the rubble and the yo-yo with the help of the Rooster Miraculous.

Ruler's eyes kept track of where the Alter Ego was, though, with his now-acquired speed, it was a bit harder. She felt a strong presence behind her, prompting her to raise the Shield to block a Bee stinger.

"Trying to immobilize me with the Bee Miraculous? Nice try, Chat Blanc!" Ruler dashed forward, using her yo-yo once more to ensnare her Opponent once more.

Chat Blanc smirks, his body once more glowed as multiple copies appeared.

Ruler of Miraculous frowns, seeing he just used the power of the Mouse Miraculous to split himself.

"AAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!" Each of the copies of Chat had a glowing orb, that surrounded the Counter Guardian.

They all unleashed the white orb at Ruler,

The bluenette Hero could tell this was Jubilation, a power from the Pig Miraculous based on her status as Guardian. She dodges each orb, flipping around to evade the power of Gift.

A power that'll show her what she desires and render her open for a finishing blow.

She flips and dodges, able to maneuver through every orb.

Once that attack failed, the Alter Ego proceeded to use another strategy. He materialized a Staff with the power of the Monkey Miraculous, the power to disrupt another's power.

Each of the copies lunges forward, attempting to at least graze Ruler of Miraculous.

The Ruler dodged one staff before making it towards another Building and climbing its side. She looks to her right where a copy of Chat Blanc flies next to her, then to her left where another was waiting for her.

"A pincer attack," Ruler said to herself, allowing them to proceed with their attack.

The two went in, propelling their Staff to Ruler of Miraculous. However, Ruler halted her movements as she fell and the two touched each other causing them to disappear.

The Counter Guardian continued to fall, catching that many of the Chat Blanc copies were waiting for her. "Wind Dragon!" She cried out, bursting into smoke,

Chat Blanc copies charge in, only to phase through the smoke.

The smoke gathered once more, reforming into Ruler's physical body. "HUP!" She then swung her yo-yo, and the blade slashed through them, disappearing once it slash through.

"Heh," Ruler smirks before seeing the original Chat Blanc made a run for it. He clutches his fist and propels it to Ruler.

"Lighting Dragon!" Ruler cried out, raising the Shield as the Clout propels her back.

The punch was able to propel Ruler to another Building, causing it to topple down. "AAAAAAAHHHH!" Chat Blanc opened a Portal and dived into it.

Laying in the rubble, Ruler huffs seeing that Alter Ego was more powerful than she thought. "Alter Ego is more powerful than I could predict." She huffs, shaking her head. "No, I must carry on, and-" She stopped talking, looking up as a Portal appeared.

Diving out of the Portal was Alter Ego, splitting into multiple copies again.

"Tch," Ruler clicked her teeth, standing tall despite the odds. "COME AT ME, CHAT!" She cried out.

Each of the Chat Blanc copies held a small orb, tossing them at Ruler.

She gasps, trying to dodge the orbs. However, some manage to touch her hair, side, and arms. "Shit!" Ruler looks up, leaping back as the copies smashed the area where she once stood.

Ruler huffs, seeing them glaring at her. "AAAAAAAAHHHH!" She cried out, raising both her Sword and Shield before charging.

She slashed at one only to have her teleported to another, kicking her side. "GAK!" Ruler coughs, staggering back before charging at the one who attacked her.

Again, she teleported to another who wasn't her target. And like before, the copy of Chat Blanc punched her.

This went on, each time she strikes, she gets teleported to another Chat Blanc.

The last one punched her back, causing her to drop her yo-yo blade. "S-So, you really are not holding back." Ruler chuckles, blood dripping from her mouth. "Ngh!"

Ruler materializes a Flute, replacing her yo-yo Sword. "Well," She spoke as the Alter Egos walked towards her. "If you're not going to pull on your punches…" She breathes into the Flute,

The Chat Blancs leap at her, their claws ready to impale her.

"Then I won't either!" Ruler of Miraculous raised her Flute, and an orange orb appeared on the tip. She throws the orb onto the ground, exploding into a puff of smoke.

The copies of Chat Blanc all lunged their claws into the smoke, where they thought they got Ruler.

Once the smoke dissipated, they all saw that they had impaled a mere broken column.

"Hey!" They all looked behind them where Ruler stood with her yo-yo Sword in hand. "Looking for me, Boys?" Ruler smirks.

In a split second, the original Alter Ego dismissed his copies and dashed for Ruler.

Ruler raised her Shield, being pushed into the air by the Enemy Servant.

Now in the air, Ruler quickly acted, "Wind Dragon!" Ruler cried out, her feet now sporting small clouds to help her stay afloat.

She looks up, seeing the Alter Ego make a loop before coming at her with great speed. In response, Ruler charges in and both pass each other.

The Alter Ego turns around, and attacks once more. He saw her look at him ready to attack, before splitting into many copies once more.

They all split up, now surrounding the Counter Guardian in an orb.

The original took his position at the center, aiming his fingers at her. "C-Chat…" Not even flinching, they all shot a white beam at Ruler.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Ruler cried in pain as the Alter Ego's Cataclysm burned through her Spirit Origins.

They all stop their attack, seeing the Counter Guardian's body begin to dematerialize and disappear from this Lostbelt. "…"

"!" Chat Blanc's eyes widen, feeling an object slammed right behind him.

The copies of Chat Blanc began to make a move against whoever was attacking the original. However, they were all caught in a single net.

The Alter Ego swiftly turns around, aiming his fingers at whoever attacked him. His eyes glared at Ruler of Miraculous still alive and kicking.

He shot another of his Cataclysm, hurling straight for her.

"Don't think I let you off this easily!" Ruler cried out, pulling her yo-yo in front of her and dragging the netted copies of Chat Blanc along with it.

The beam blasted the Chat Blancs, destroying each of them in the process.

Ruler of Miraculous quickly landed on the broken streets of Paris, and her Sword sliced through the pavement.

"Noble Phantasm, release!" Ruler looks forward, seeing the Alter Ego land in front of her.

Chat Blanc glares at the Counter Guardian, raising his fingers at him.

"A single strike that causes destruction, a strike that killed the Moon." A small orb appeared at the tip of Chat Blanc's fingers before getting bigger with each passing moment.

"I swear to uphold order and protect everyone I care for…" Ruler's body began to glow, and the symbols of the Miraculous she took in appeared around her.

"Evil will be vanquished!"

The orb that Chat Blanc created grew bigger as it fits in his palm. "Let it be known, I will cover the Earth in a blanket of white!" The Alter Ego announced, finishing powering his Noble Phantasm.

His eyes then caught someone joining in the fray,

Chat Noir came in, standing in front of the Counter Guardian. He held his hand out, closing his eyes as he remembers what Ruler said prior to the Battle.

"Adrien, do you remember what Avenger said to you before he disappeared?" Ruler of Paris asked the blonde Hero before her.

Adrien nodded, "Yeah, he said that he entrust his role to me." Adrien repeated what his dying words were to him. "But I don't get what he means by that,"

The Counter Guardian nodded, explaining what her Husband means to Adrien. "You're aware that both you and Avenger are the same except for your Ages." Ruler stated, seeing the young Hero nodded. "Now that he awakens your Magical Circuits, you can access your Miraculous fully. You can use…"

Chat opens his eyes, aiming his hand at the Noble Phantasm.

"A power that I swore to use for good,"

His claws twitched as a black orb appeared,

"A power that I use to protect those who are meaningful to me,"

The black orb enlarges, causing Chat Noir's arm to twitch. His Magical Circuits twitches from reaching their limits, "Ngh…"

Chat Blanc raised his head,

"World Wipe Cataclysm!"

A large white beam hurls towards the two, destroying the entire barren street.

"Cataclysm!"

A black beam hurls towards the white one, and both collided causing a large impact.

The beams were equal, smaller stray beams sparked the area. Black and white beams broke pieces of Buildings destroyed the Watchers and Enforcers, and some manage to bounce off the Bounded Field around the Eternal Palace.

However, there was one difference between the two Chats…and that Chat Noir was still a Human.

"GGGGGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Chat Noir screamed in pain; his Magical Circuits felt like they were on fire. However, he keeps pushing on, taking the pain.

The leather gloves and fabric on his arms were torn, revealing his skin. Chat knelt down but forced himself to stand. "R-R-RULER! NOW!"

Ruler gazes up, ready to release her own Noble Phantasm.

"Miraculous…Ladybug!"

A horde of Ladybugs exploded, gathering around Ruler as they took the form of something that could defeat Alter Ego of White.

"GAH!" Chat stumbled back, falling to the ground as Ruler of Miraculous took his place.

With the added power from Chat's Cataclysm, she managed to run through Chat Blanc's Noble Phantasm. A beam of red and black spirals around before breaking through the white beam and colliding with Chat Blanc.

The two Servants broke through the Buildings, digging a large impact crater in the streets.

Ruler bounced back, taking a significant amount of damage to her Spirit Origin. "Now…it's your turn…"

Chat Blanc groans, trying to get up but can't due to the damage he has taken. "GGGAAAAAAAAHHHH!" He roars, both in pain and in rage from everything that happened.

He got up, only to see Ladybug leap from the dust cloud and land in front of him. "MAR-" The Alter Ego froze, seeing a red with black polka dot bracelet landing on him.

"I'm not going to kill you," Ladybug spoke, glaring down at the Enemy. "Instead, I'm reminding you of who you once were," She turns around, walking away from the Alter Ego. (End Song)

Ladybug made her way out of the crater, seeing her Boyfriend waiting for her. "Chat," She ran over to him, hugging the blonde tightly.

Chat hugged Ladybug, congratulating her for doing her part. "Great job, Princess." He said, patting her back with his arm.

"Chat, your arm." Ladybug saw the Hero of Destruction's arm, bare up to his shoulders.

"Heh, yeah, I don't think can move it for a while." Chat jokes, feeling the numbness in his left arm. "But I can still move it a bit, just a little numb." He smiles, ensuring her it's nothing to be concerned over.

The bluenette Hero looks at her Boyfriend, still concerned over it. "Are you sure?"

"He just overdone himself, very common to Mages who pushed themselves to the limits." Ruler of Miraculous walks forward, smiling at the two. "Your arm will be rid of your numbness in a little bit."

(Insert A Day of Raining Tears (Fate/Grand Order OST)

The two Heroes turn to Ruler of Miraculous, seemingly well. "Ruler, you're all right," Ladybug exclaims, happy to see her well. "I thought you died for a second."

"That's great, now we can-"

"I'm sorry, Kitten but I can't join you in the Eternal Palace." Ruler interrupted Chat Noir's words, "From here on out, you need to go together by yourselves." The Counter Guardian stated,

Ladybug steps forward, not understanding why she's not coming with them. "Why? You survived the Battle with Chat Blanc," She said, pointing to the Palace now shaking, transforming into a mech. "You only have scratches on you."

They all looked and saw another mech confronting the Palace as they fought. "And now…it's a Mecha fight." Ladybug lowered her arm, she then shook her head and looked at her Future self. "Anyways, why you're not coming, Ruler?"

"Ritsuka and the others still need you." The Hero of Destruction asked his fellow Hero.

Ruler smiles, answering her young Heroes' questions. "That's because I've reached my limit," She said, her body started to glow as she slowly turns to golden dust. "My Spirit Origin shattered when my Noble Phantasm struck Chat Blanc. Well truth be told, the moment I activated my second Noble Phantasm, it began to crumble." She explains to them.

Ladybug's eyes widen, seeing the sight before her. "W-What…"

"Ruler…" Chat soften his eyes, knowing where this was heading.

"I used everything I have just to bring Chat Blanc down, even using the remaining Miraculous in hand." Ruler of Miraculous explains to the two. "Nobody, even a Servant can't handle the power of the Miraculous being used at once. It's too much power and the price is high."

Chat looks back at his Alter Ego, staring down at the Lucky Charm in his hand like a lifeless doll. "Then what about Chat Blanc? Even though both of you used every last of your Energy, he's still fine." He said before continuing. "He has every remaining Miraculous he's taken from the Mircale League here,"

The blonde turns back to the Counter Guardian. "On top of that, is it really okay to leave him be and not…kill him?" Chat asked, not liking how he used that word. "He's still dangerous,"

Ruler of Miraculous shook her head, "I'm not sure, but I bet it's his experience in a damage World." She said, explaining how that Lucky Charm was able to freeze the Alter Ego. "As for your other question, that Lucky Charm is something very dear to him. Something that he lost in his original World and can never be brought back,"

"The first gift I've given you," Ladybug said, knowing what her Lucky Charm did.

Chat knew what two Ladybugs were talking about, "No wonder it looked familiar. That's one of the important things that I hold onto." He looks once again at Chat Blanc, feeling bad for him. "I guess being alone in a World where you killed everyone really makes you regret it."

"I feel sorry for him…" Chat said, seeing the sad state of the Alter Ego.

Soon, Ruler's body began to dematerialize, indicating she didn't have much time left. "Well shoot, I thought I have more time." She said, looking at the two. "You two better get going, there's still a lot to do here before you all can claim victory." She motions her head to the fighting Mechs.

Ladybug nodded, understanding what Ruler was trying to do. "Right, thank you Ruler for everything." She walks off as Chat Noir joins her.

"Just a moment, Ladybug, Chat Noir." Ruler called for them, prompting the two to turn to her. "Give my thanks and goodbyes to my master. Even if he knows I went back to the Throne of Heroes, I still want to say a proper goodbye."

Chat smirks, agreeing to Ruler's request. "Right, don't worry. We'll make sure he gets your message." The Hero of Destruction said, holding his Staff, ready to go to the Palace Mech.

Ladybug smiles, happy to get to know her Future self, "Goodbye, Ruler."

The two Heroes departed for the Palace, leaving Ruler of Miraculous alone and Chat Blanc too.

Ruler looks over to Chat Blanc, having a sad smile for him. "At least you're free from your madness, Adrien." She said, looking up at the night sky as she started to disappear. "I think…the only thing I regret here…is that I never really say goodbye to everyone. Especially my Kids,"

"K-K-Kids…"

"Well, good luck master and everyone," Ruler dematerialized, her body turned to golden dust and floated away. "Beat that pompous Emperor for me…"
