"Hmm, we haven't gotten too many people today. That one was pretty draining, Mira wouldn't be too upset if we called it a day." She began packing up her things and stretching, having already decided it seemed. Fine by Cobra, he didn't lose anything by leaving early.

"That Lyon guy was nuts. I can't believe he managed to beat Sawyer," Cobra remarked. Lucy giggled.

"He's a little out there, that's for sure. Once you actually get to know him though, he's a nice guy, and quite intelligent. I've actually discussed literature with him a few times."

Cobra narrowed his eye, unimpressed. "The 'discussions' didn't happen to be over weird romance books, would it?"

"No! They were perfectly respectable books! Not that romance isn't respectable, er…" Lucy blushed and then shook her head. Suddenly her eyes went wide and she stared at him, an uncertain look on her face. "Say…I'm still wondering why you were so venomously against that second choice. I know you don't like the guy, sure, but that other girl couldn't have been that bad, right?"

"If you pry any further, you'll be close to breaking your solemn oath." Even under pain of death, he would keep the fact that the second person was Meredy a secret. Lucy sighed and went back to quickly writing down the encounter.

"Fine, I'll just have to put in here that Lyon is going to try and have Juvia and a mysterious second person meet up in the future. Maybe Mira will enjoy the mysteriousness of it and not be too mad."

At the mention of Juvia, Cobra suddenly remembered that she was the other person involved…and that Lyon planned on having the two of them meet up, thinking they had no idea who the other one was…Juvia and Meredy.

Despite himself, he burst out laughing, and no matter how hard Lucy tried, he didn't let a single word slip. Perhaps the whole exchange had been worth it just to watch the little twerp's perfect plan fall apart before his very eyes.
