One Perverted Cook

After Luffy and his crew left Syrup Island, they began sailing around in their new ship. The 'Going Merry' became quickly like a home to them as they quickly got used to it. During their first adventure on their new ship, they managed to dock on an island where they met a man stuck inside a small treasure box named Gaimon who protected the island's rare animals from poachers. It turns out that Gaimon was once a boy who found eight treasure boxes on top of a hill on the island but couldn't get to them due to him falling inside the treasure chest limiting his mobility. Luffy, being the good he is, then went up and opened the boxes telling him there is nothing inside which helped the man finally learn their secret before the crew finally left not before Luffy got shot a couple of times much to the amusement of Robin for trying to eat Gaimon's animal friends.

Now, the straw-hats ship was currently bobbing on the waves, as the crew sat on it waiting for their new adventure. One of them however was sitting with a contemplating look on their face as if they were reevaluating their life choices.

Nami sat on a chair as she watched the waves gently move and thought about how Luffy and Robin actually met.

A lone tear slid down her face as thought how her fate was cruel to no extent.

The girl still remembers the talk she had with the girl that she could call her best friend; technically she was her only female friend so there was no competition for the best friend spot in her life. Robin had told her how the boy one day appeared randomly on her island, how he defended her from her bullies and befriended her from the get-go not caring about what others said about her, how they began to play together and bonded how their caretakers abused them or in Luffy's case trained him, how they met Saul, how Luffy quickly met the scholars, and how she finally met Garp the fist; now that took her by surprise. Who would have imagined that the grandson of the hero of the marines wants to be a pirate?

She then told her how the world government forces came with the intent of blowing her home Island to kingdom come. She told how Luffy promised her that he wouldn't let her island be destroyed since they were friends, how they managed to get the trigger that would summon the doomsday call on Ohara, and finally how they managed to deliver to Garp, and save the island. She then told her how she and her mother then went to live with Luffy on his island, and the adventures they had together with Ace his brother. The name sounded familiar, but she couldn't pinpoint it yet.

But the thought that was playing on a loop inside her mind was one that she didn't want to think about. Why her, and not me?

She felt jealous that Robin had her knight in shining armor simply crash on her while she was left to the cruel hands of fate to play with her like a violin. She felt horrible as she knew a part of her wished that she was the one that was saved not Robin; she was truly a horrible person to think like that, but she couldn't help it.

But this raises a new question, is it too late for her to be saved from the shackles that are wrapped around her?

But what could Luffy do? And more importantly, is she really willing to ask for his help, and technically send her only friends to their death?

But Luffy was willing to go against the world government to save Robin's island? Why wouldn't he be willing to help her? But then again, he wasn't going against a normal human? That man was the definition of a monster personified. No one could stand up to him; she was practically telling Luffy to go kill himself.

But what is one measly person to the world government? She knew that no matter how strong her tormentor is, if the world government set her eyes on him, and wanted him gone, it would only take a few moments for him to wipe out the pages of history.

But was it too late for that? She was nearing her goal that would set her free, and he seemed honest about keeping his end of the bargain even with the many attempts on his life from her.

But what would happen if he didn't keep his end of the bargain, and somehow increased his demand, or forced her to go back to square one?

Too many variables that need to be looked at before she can reach any decision of any kind. The stakes were very high in her case. Any misstep could backfire in the most horrific of ways. She sighed for what she thought was a thousand times this day, as she left her chair and peered her head to the deck to see both Luffy and Usopp chatting together.

She then yelled, "Hey, knuckleheads" The boys looked up to her as she said, "What are you two mumbling about?"

The boys just shrugged as Usopp said, "Nothing really. We're just talking." The girl highly doubted that. Those two from the moment they boarded the ship were always pranking both her and Zoro' Robin was pranked once and she retaliated by kicking Luffy out of their shared room. The boy spent an entire day apologizing before she cooled off and let him in back.

She then looked at Luffy, who she learned quickly that he can't lie to save his life, and said, "What were you planning?"

The boy just shrugged as he said, "Nothing really, we were planning how making the jolly roger of the ship."

Usopp then punched him saying, "You talk a lot. We agreed that it will be a surprise, you babbler mouth." The boy then bowed over to Usopp with a huge lump on his head as he apologized repeatedly to the other boy.

The girl then huffed, as she said, "Good, don't you do anything fishy, or I'll increase your debt again." Both boys shivered as they remembered that now they somehow own Nami 6 million berries.

Usopp then went inside the ship saying that he needed something, so they can begin the work on their jolly roger. While Luffy stood there with a smile on his face, he grabbed barrels of paint and black cloth. Nami saw that and said, "What happened to paint it with Usopp?"

The boy smiled at her and said, "No way, I'm the captain of this ship, so I'm going to paint the jolly roger alone."

He then began painting, as paint went everywhere splashing everything unlucky enough to be near Luffy. Robin then existed the kitchen as she was drinking from a mug of hot coffee, and said, "Good morning."

The only person that replied was Nami since Zoro was sleeping, and Luffy was otherwise occupied with painting the jolly roger of the crew. Robin then walked beside Nami, and asked, "What's Luffy doing?"

"Apparently, he's painting the jolly roger," Nami replied. She looked at Robin who was holding a haunted look on her face as she suppressed a shudder.

"Oh dear goodness, this going to cause us nightmares for weeks to come," Robin said with a very worried face.

Nami was surprised at her look, and she just had to ask, "What do you mean? It can't be that bad." Nami had learned by now not to underestimate Luffy. The boy sure was not a genius like her and Robin, but he wasn't dumb like a sack of bricks as she initially thought. He had a decent amount of knowledge all things considered especially after she learned the back draws of his devil fruit regarding his brain.

Robin then said, "Just wait and see."

Nami then asked, "Huh, what do you mean?" The only response she received was silence, as she looked at Luffy who was still engrossed in his work, and said in her head that it can't be that bad.

Moments later, Luffy yelled as he said, "I'm finished look at it guys, and tell me what you think."

Nami looked only to see a monstrosity in front of her that made her guts spin. She looked at Robin who rubbed her shoulder and had a look as if she was reliving her worst nightmare.

The jolly roger was some kind of twisted skill with two broken bones behind it and a straw hat on top of the skull. It was truly a horrifying sight to behold.

Usopp then came to the deck, and said, "Did anyone see my painting equipment?" He was sure he placed them inside the kitchen, but he couldn't find them anywhere. He then looked at Luffy and saw the jolly roger, and slapped his forehead. Truly, his captain was a stubborn person.

Zoro then saw it, and scratched his head saying, "Well, they say a jolly roger should inspire fear inside someone; I think that fills the bill."

Nami then said, "I'm not sure if it's a jolly roger, perhaps some kind of modern art." She then titled her head to get a better angle to see it.

Luffy frowned because his friends didn't like his drawing, and looked at Robin who forced a smile on her face.

Usopp then said, "Here, let me take care of this." He said as he took the boxes of paint. He then added, "I'm a world-renowned painter, you know."

The others didn't believe him, while Luffy sparkled in joy as he said, "Really, Usopp?"

The boy nodded as Luffy said, "You're the coolest guy ever."

Usopp then went back to painting the jolly roger, as he stuck out his tongue in concentration. A few minutes later, he said, "I'm finished. Look at my masterpiece."

The crew looked at the new jolly roger, but they weren't impressed because it wasn't what they desired. The new jolly roger was a sideways skull with a slingshot in the back, and a bone. It also had a cloth wrapped at its top similar to Usopp's cloth. The most striking feature was the long nose the skull had

The boy then said, "So guys, what do you think? Pretty cool, huh?"

Luffy and Zoro then smacked his head causing him to hit the deck face-first while Robin caused a hand to appear and flicked his nose as Luffy said, "Start all over."

The boy then rubbed his nose, as he collected the paints once more, and began to work on the jolly roger once again quietly mumbling under his breath, "This is no way to treat the great captain Usopp." He then looked back at the crew and once again looked at his work, and said, "It wasn't that bad."

A few minutes later, Usopp finished once again. It was similar to Luffy's, but it wasn't as crooked as the original was. The boy then said, "Are you happy now?" Usopp then crossed his arms and sat on the deck as Luffy said, "Of course, I'm happy. I have a jolly roger now."

The rubber boy didn't notice the sarcastic nature of the question, as he then went to hang the new jolly roger on top of the ship.

He then declared from the top of the crow's nest, "From now on, we will be known as the straw-hat pirates. The crew that will find the one piece."

Robin smiled at his enthusiasm as did Nami and Usopp, while Zoro simply went back to sleep.

After half an hour of random sailing, the crew was once again each doing his own thing. Nami was drawing maps in the storage room because it was quiet, Robin was reading a book that her mother gave her about the ponoglyphs, Zoro was dozing off in the kitchen and asked not to be waked unless it was important, and Usopp was tinkering with some new ammo for his slingshot that would help him in battles, and Luffy was moaning since nothing was exciting to do now, so he cried, "Man, this is seriously boring. I think I'm going to die." He then looked at Usopp, and before he can speak Usopp said, "No, I didn't finish making them yet. When I do, I'll tell you first" The rubber boy didn't like the answer but nodded his head.

The rubber boy once again sighed and sat down. He then heard Robin talking to him, "Luffy, why don't you go search in the ship, you might find something that interests you?"

The boy then nodded his head as he quickly jumped to his feet, and yelled, "Adventure Time." He then quickly ran to the lower part of the ship in hopes of finding something that interests him.

Robin smiled at him, as she went back to her book. Usopp then looked at the girl and said, "Wow, you sure have your way with him, please teach me your techniques of controlling him."

The girl giggled a little as she explained, "I don't control him; I just know how to make him happy. I spent a lifetime with him, so by now I know how to distract him or make him happy." She then earned a devious smirk as she said, "Kinda like you and Kaya, I bet you both understand each other very well." The boy blushed heavily as he flailed his arms saying, "Hey, Kaya and I aren't like that. We're just good friends."

The girl then rolled her eyes at him as a sign that said 'Keep telling yourself that'. They both then a loud sound coming from under the deck. They looked at the hatch that connected the upper and the lower deck. They then saw Luffy exit the lower deck with a cannon on his back, as he yelled saying, "I found a cannon, and I'm going to test it out." He then looked at his friends as he said, "Want to come and help me?" While Robin declined in favor of reading her book, Usopp was more than happy to help Luffy out with it.

Luffy then exclaimed happily, "Awesome, come let's test the cannon." He then jumped to the rails of the ship as he began looking around for a target to hit. It took about 5 minutes before his eyes landed on a formation of rocks in the distance. He pointed at them and said, "That. I want to hit that."

"Okay, sure." Usopp went to aim the cannon, before Luffy said, "No way, I want to try first with it." The other boy shrugged as he handed Luffy the cannon out of curiosity if the rubber boy will actually hit the target.

The rubber boy then looked at his target as he put the cannon in front of it, and then lit a fuse saying, "Fire in the hall." The ball then went out from the cannon, and it hit… the ocean disappointing Luffy greatly as he truly expected to hit the rock formation. He snapped his fingers saying, "Damn, I thought I had this."

He then heard Usopp sighing as the other boy said, "Here, Luffy let me help you with that." The long-nosed boy then went to the cannon and began adjusting it as he backed up a little and raised it a little. He then said, "You should take the wind into the mix so you could hit the target head-on."

The boy then lit the fuse of the cannon, and said, "Now see how a true marksman hit a target." In a flash, the cannon released its component as the cannonball sailed through the air, and finally hit its target. This took both Luffy and Usopp by surprise, as the first thought it was cool, and the latter was just baffled about his skills never expecting the ball to hit the intended target.

Luffy then grabbed Usopp and began to shake him wildly, "Wow, that's was so cool Usopp. I knew that you were a good shot, but not like this. You kinda remind me of your dad."

The boy who was still surprised by his success numbly mumbled, "Yeah, it actually hit it…" He then shook his head as he puffed out his chest, and exclaimed proudly, "Who do you think you're dealing with? I captain Usopp the great pirate, this is simply nothing."

The boy's proud rambling was cut off by Robin who said, "Are you sure oh great captain Usopp, because for a moment there you seemed a little surprised that you hit?"

She then saw him deflate as she began to giggle a little at his reaction. However, as she looked into the ocean she noticed something coming in the ship's direction, so she said, "I think we have company. Get ready."

Luffy quickly began stretching his muscles as he said, "Let them come, I'm going to kick their butts." All the time Usopp was quivering in his boots as he said, "Are you sure this is a good idea. I mean they could be marines for all we know. Let's move the ship faster than they come row to us…"

The boy was cut out of his ramblings as someone yelled, "Come and face me, you bastards." Suddenly a sword hit the ship's rails as someone jumped on board the 'Going Merry'.

The individual was a tanned man who had black hair, and a kanji tattoo on the side of his hide. He was wearing a blue jacket with a white shirt under it. He wore jeans. The man then began yelling as he said, "Come on, you bastards attacked me, and I'm going to make you pay you pirate scum." He then began to swing his sword wildly causing Usopp to yell, "The ship, be careful."

Robin then sighed as she sprouted a couple of arms on the man, and held him down ending his rampage. She calmly walked up to him, and asked, "May I know why are you rampaging on our ship?"

"You guys attacked us first. I was sitting with my friend on that rock formation before you started attacking us for no reason." The girl gave Usopp and Luffy a dry look as they both bowed down saying, "We're sorry."

Robin was about to speak but was stopped by Zoro appearing as he said, "Hey what's with all the ruckus, I'm trying to sleep. Keep it down."

The man then looked up, saw Zoro, and began to yell, "Big brother Zoro, is that you? Did those pirates kidnap you?"

Zoro looked down at the man, and a look of recognition appeared in his eyes, "Johnny, is that really you? How are you? And where's Yosaku? And I joined them."

The man that is now known as Johnny then began to sob as he said, "Big brother Zoro, Yosaku is in a really bad condition. We were traveling one day, and suddenly he became sick."

Zoro then scratched his head as he said, "Well, what are you waiting for; bring him on board the ship so we can see what's his problem."

Robin then released her hold on Johnny who quickly jumped down the side of the ship before coming up with another man on his shoulder.

The man on his shoulder had green hair and was wearing some kind of headset. He was also wearing a green jacket with a green shirt under it. He was also wearing some shorts. But his striking feature was currently his pale skin. Johnny then sobbed, "I don't know what's wrong with him? One day he was fine, and the next he began to vomit blood, and lose some of his teeth."

Both Robin and Luffy eyed him a little, before the latter asked the former, "Is this scurvy that you talked about, Robin?"

"Yes." The girl answered smiling happily to see that years of lessons didn't go to waste.

Nami then walked from the storage room, and said "What's happening?" She then saw Yosaku and said, "Get him some lemons, he only has scurvy."

Usopp and Luffy then quickly went into the kitchen knowing better than to disobey her orders looking for some lemons. Meanwhile, Zoro introduced the crew to Johnny. The man then looked at Robin, and asked, "Are you sure this is going to work, big sis Robin?"

The girl was confused as to why he referred to her as 'big sis' as she was sure he was older than her but shrugged as she said, "Yes, the way to treat scurvy is to introduce vitamins to the system. Don't worry he'll be better in no time."

The duo of Usopp and Luffy then exited the kitchen with a basket of lemons in their hands. Both boys then began to squeeze them inside Yosaku's mouth. And when that didn't work, they shoved the lemons inside his mouth causing Nami to scream at them, "Be careful idiots, we want to help him not kill him."

The boys then nodded their heads as they backed away from Yosaku who swallowed in go everything. Johnny then looked at him, and said, "Bro, talk to me please say anything."

He was interrupted by Nami who said, "Don't waste your breath. It will take days before he manages…"

She was shocked when Yosaku jumped from the ground declaring, "I'm not sick anymore. I'm not sick anymore." He grabbed Johnny's hand and began to dance around with him before Usopp and Luffy joined the fray.

Nami then yelled at them saying, "Stop you idiots, this isn't how scurvy is treated."

Noticing that the 4 weren't listening, she said, "OK aside from the irregular treatment, and ignoring normal healing methods; this brings up a new problem."

Robin then nodded her head saying, "I agree. We can't continue going on like this; we need someone qualified to cook in the kitchen and utilize it to the fullest. I'm doing the best that I can in the previous day, but I don't think I'm chef material."

Luffy then added, "Oh yeah, we need a chef and probably someone who can fight." He said with the others nodding their heads at his notion. Having a chef who can't fight will be a huge liability going on. Whoever the person that was going to be their chef; needed to know how to cook and fight at the same time.

Johnny then said, "If you're looking for a fighting chef, then I know the perfect place."

Luffy then looked at him saying, "Really, where is it?"

Yosaku then said, "It's a floating restaurant by the name of the baratie. It is said that the chefs there are all martial artists and know how to fight. No pirate goes there and tries to mess with anyone because he knows he will be kicked out with his butt handed to him."

Luffy then smiled saying, "Let's go there."

Johnny then turned to Zoro and added, "Oh yeah, big brother Zoro, I heard that the man you were looking for was passing by these regions."

Zoro's eyes then widened considerably as he said, "We're definitely going there."

Luffy then yelled, "Well, you heard him. let's set the ship towards the baratie."

Everyone smiled, but suddenly they all heard a thud. They then heard Johnny screaming, "Yosaku, what's wrong you were just fine a moment ago?"

This stupidity angered Nami who screamed, "Leave him be. He needs time to rest; this isn't a magic show, you know."

Johnny then backed away from Yosaku as Luffy and Usopp carried him to one of the beds in the lower deck for him to rest. Nami then sighed as she said, "Baratie, here we come. I really hope we don't get into too much trouble this time."

After a day of sailing, Luffy saw something in the distance, so he jumped ad grabbed both Yosaku and Johnny asking them, "Is that it?"

The two men looked at what Luffy was pointing at and saw a huge ship that had a ship of a huge fish. It had several floors with windows on them. It mostly had a green-themed color with a small docking system to boost itself. Both men then nodded their heads saying, "Yeah, that's it, big brother, Luffy."

The rubber man then pointed his finger in the distance saying, "Onward, let's go to the baratie."

The entire crew watched as the ship began to approach the baratie, but then Robin who was on guarding duty said, "Marines on our left."

The crew then saw a huge marines' ship by the side of their ship and aimed its cannon at them catching everyone by surprise. He looked at it, and then someone came to the side of the marine ship, and said, "Who are you people? I've never seen you before." the man was a pink-haired individual with iron knuckles attached to his hands. He was wearing a full-body suit. He also had a scar on the left side of his face.

The man eyed the ship a little further before asking, "Who's the captain of this vessel." He proceeded to lift his fist saying, "I'm Lieutenant 'Ironfist Fullbody' of the marines."

Luffy then answered him as if he was talking to a friend by saying, "Hi, I'm Luffy…" he was cut off by Usopp who said, "And I'm Usopp." Luffy then continued, "And I made my pirate flag the day before yesterday." This made both Johnny and Yosaku sigh in relief.

Ironfist then rubbed his chin as he said, "I think I heard of you from a couple of marine reports. You sure have been causing a lot of trouble lately. All in all, you won't last a couple of days, so why don't go back to your mom and hid with her." He then looked at the two bounty hunters and said, "And you clowns are some low bid bounty hunters who couldn't save their own lives even if it depended on it given that you were taken down by some no one pirate."

This made both Yousaku and Johnny feel annoyed as Yosaku then yelled, "Who are you calling some low-bid bounty hunters."

Johnny then added, "Yeah, we're the greatest bounty hunters in the entire east blue. We took down people that others thought were invincible."

Yosaku then pulled a bunch of bounties saying "Take a look for yourself, and saw how many names we have taken down, and we still planning on taking more bounties."

During this scuffle, Nami, who was on the side silently observing what was happening, saw a bounty poster fly from the pile Yosaku was holding and land in front of her. She then crouched down and picked it up, but what she saw made her color go away as she began to rub her shoulder. She then quickly hid away the poster hoping no one have noticed her reaction.

Unfortunately for her, someone did manage to see her reaction. Robin, who was on the crow's nest, watched Nami as she picked up a wanted poster that flew from Yousaku's pile, but paled when she looked at it. The raven head then formed an eye beside Nami and saw who the bounty belonged. It was 'The Fishman: Arlong'. This made the raven head wonder if Nami had any type of relationship with said pirate. She then saw the girl stuff away the bounty in her pocket, before taking a deep breath and walking over to the others.

Johnny and Yosaku who attacked Fullbody after brandishing their wins were now thrown against the deck of the ship, as the marine warned them that the next time he won't go so easy on them, and would kick their ass if they even tried a stunt that is similar to this.

Fullbody then looked at his men, and ushered with his head to the 'Going Merry.' The marines then proceeded to put a cannonball inside a cannon which caused Usopp to scream, "Guys, they're about to sink us."

Fullbody then lowered his hand, as he said, "Boys, send them to swim with the fish." A cannonball was then launched at the ship.

Quickly jumping to action, Luffy stood on the side of the ship as he began inhaling air, he said, "Gum-Gum Balloon." The cannonball then hit Luffy square in the stomach, but with the properties of his skin, he was able to send to away flying.

This made Fullbody eyes go wide, as Usopp, Yosaku, and Johnny all screamed in unison, "What the hell just happened?"

The boy laughed as he said, "That was a close one." He then noticed that the cannonball was going to the baratie, and began to panic, but suddenly a row of arms erupted from the floating restaurant making a huge net which caught the cannonball, before harmlessly throwing it back into the ocean.

Fullbody was then terrified as he ordered his men to quickly go to the restaurant not being used to devil fruit users.

Luffy then jumped to the crow's nest as he hugged Robin, and began to kiss her much to the girl's embarrassment as a public display of affection as he said, "You're a lifesaver, Robin."

The girl then shyly hid her face as she said, "It's no problem."

She then heard his stomach growling, as the boy sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, "Well, let's go to the restaurant, you big rubber bear."

The crew then began approaching the baratie, as they saw it come closer. Once they were beside it, they docked it beside it and entered the place.

They then all saw in one corner Fullbody having a date with a blonde-haired woman who was wearing a red dress causing Robin to mutter something about how the marines are corrupt except Garp.

"Welcome there, ladies and crooks," A man with abnormally large forearms approached them giving them the fakest smile anyone ever saw in their life. "Are you going to pay today, or are we going to have a problem?"

Once Robin lifted the bag of gold he had, the man smiled even further as he said, "my name is Patty. Please follow through here to give you a seat for you to relax in."

They were all seated at a huge table as the man that introduced himself as Patty informed them, "We'll send a waiter for you in a couple of moments. I hope you enjoy your time here at the baratie." He finished as he went back to scowling as he walked into the kitchen yelling for someone.

"Well, that was something," Usopp said still confused by the entire encounter.

"Yeah, you would think for a place that is so famous, they'd hire someone who at least knows how to smile, and greet people properly," Nami complained. The man freaked her out at the entrance with the way he spoke, she felt as if she was being robbed for food which is funny since she is a thief after all.

"Now, now, let's not all pass judgments. Let's give them a chance before saying if there good or bad." Robin said being the voice of reason.

"Yeah, I want to taste their food. I'm hungry." Luffy said as he patted his stomach.

The group of 5 then heard Fullbody as he began gloating about what type of wine he was drinking, and he asked a man who thought was the waiter if he was right.

The man was a male around Zoro's age, had blond hair that covered one of his eyes, and a cigar in his mouth was wearing a black suit, and holding two dishes of soup, as he said, "Not even close, sir. And by the way, I'm not a waiter; I'm actually the head chef here. I'm only doing this because we have no waiters."

The blond then set the two dishes of soup in front of 'Fullbody' and his date; the former being on the verge of a mental breakdown after hearing the laughter when the blond corrected him.

The blond man then walked up to Luffy's group, and said, "Hello, I'm head chef Sanji, but I'm going to be your waiter today. What do you wish to eat?" he said professionally.

But when he laid eyes on Nami and Robin, he made a 180 turn as he began twirling around them with heart-shaped eyes, as he said, "Oh, majestic beauties, I'm your servant of love. Please tell me what and I shall serve you with my heart."

Nami smirked at this planning to milk the idiot for a free meal, while Robin giggled at the silly behavior, before looking at her boyfriend who was steaming in jealousy.

The rubber boy then put his arm around Robin's waist as he said, "Bring me meat, and bring her sandwiches and a small lemon cake."

Sanji didn't take too kindly for this as he asked with obvious annoyance, "How the hell died and made you her caretaker?"

Luffy replied, "I'm her boyfriend, so I know what she likes and what she doesn't." Sanji stood there blinking for a little while, but everyone swore they heard something crashing inside his head.

He then adjusted himself as he said, "You're her boyfriend?" he found it hard to believe that such a majestic beauty would go for this guy.

Nami then said, "I know, right. I couldn't believe it myself either." The man after this, slumped down as he began crying from sadness making Robin feel uncomfortable.

She then saw Patty walking, and asked him, "Is he alright? He seems out of it."

The large armed man looked at Sanji, before saying, "Meh. Don't worry, he's always like that. He'll come back up, and flirt with you when he gets this out of his system." Suddenly Sanji jumped and said to the girls, "What do you want my beauties?" Patty then exclaimed as he walked away, "And he's back."

Robin said, "As my boyfriend asked you?"

The blond blinked a little as he said, "Please can you repeat that because I didn't hear you."

Robin then said, "Can you please bring me some sandwiches with a small slice of lemon cake." The man smiled at her as he said, "Your orders are my commands my darling."

He then went twirling to Nami, asking her, "What do you want my beauty?"

The girl then smiled deviously, as she leaned toward the perverted blond making sure to let him see her body as she said, "Well, I want some fruit salad, and please can I not pay because I don't have much money on me."

This made Sanji's heart go to cloud-nine as he began twirling around Nami saying, "No beauty will be forced to pay today. I live to serve beauties and made them feel special." He then looked at the males and made another 180 turns as he asked them in a serious voice once more, "What do you morons want to eat here?"

This made Zoro sweat drop as he said under his breath, "Is this going on drugs or something? He has some serious mood swings every couple of minutes." But deep down, Zoro hoped that Luffy doesn't pick this man as the new cook because just looking at him made him feel angry. He imagined waking every to his face; it was annoying to see the least

Usopp then said, "You're being unfair. I demand you treat us fairly, or else…" Usopp then looked at Zoro saying, "…Zoro will deal with you." This caused the man to say, "Deal with your own problems, Usopp. Don't drag me into it."

The guys began ordering as Luffy requested meat, Zoro went with sushi and a huge bottle of sake and ordered some food for Yosaku and Johnny who stayed on the ship to guard it, Usopp said he wanted some seafood. And with that Sanji went into the kitchen leaving one heck of an impression on the crew.

"So what do you think of him?" Zoro asked the rest of the crew as they still tried to process this one of a kind of encounter.

"I like him." Nami simply replied. She liked men like Sanji who had good taste in women.

"You're only saying that because he was drooling all over you. The guy was practically worshiping you." Zoro said in annoyance since he didn't like the man's act one bit for multiple reasons.

"First, aww," The orange head said regarding the drooling part, and then she added, "I can't help it if the guy has good taste in women, and that I'm one of a kind." The girl as she smiled brightly. She loved people like Sanji since they were suckers at her beck and call.

Zoro then scoffed at her as Usopp said, "I don't think he's really that bad. Just a little bit perverted, but that's nothing that the great captain Usopp can't deal with." The boy said loudly earning a couple of yells telling him to keep it down or else he will be kicked out of the restaurant.

Robin then gave her opinion, "I think he's nice and all, albeit a little to the perverted side, but nothing a little talk with him can't fix." She can still remember when both Ace and Luffy refused to learn at first before her mother eventually convinced them, or how she managed to talk her mother into allowing her to follow her dreams.

Everyone then looked at Luffy who was silent, he then said, "Let's see how the food tastes, and then I'll give my judgment." This caused everyone except Robin who was laughing to fall to the ground as they yelled in unison, "Are kidding us?"

"No, I'm just angry," Luffy said, as suddenly Sanji appeared once more, but this time with 5 cups of water, one plate of fancy-looking cake, and a cup of fruits and nuts.

He then gave each one of them a cup to drink from, while he went to Robin and Nami. He then proceeded to pamper the two girls much to the first amusement and the second's happiness for having the man who's such a sucker.

He then said as he gave Robin food, "Oh heavenly beauty, I don't wish to intrude on your holiness, but might you grace just with your name."

Robin who saw Luffy fuming a little couldn't help but tease him even more, "My name is Robin." She then looked at her boyfriend who was angrily fumbling with his hat, as she internally laughed at his behavior.

"Oh, Robin what a beautiful name for such a beautiful presence like yours." The man said as he twirled around her causing Luffy to hug the girl, and kiss her which in his mind was the equivalent of him marking Robin as his own, and setting a territory much to the raven head's delight.

Sanji who this an act of defiling a beautiful woman then yelled, "Leave this lady alone, you damn brute." He was about to kick him when an arm bloomed on his leg keeping it in place. He then looked at Robin who said, "I don't like the idea of you hitting my boyfriend." This made the poor man kneel down, and cry in anguish.

He then jumped up, and went to the second lady in the group as he said, "Oh, great and majestic goddess, I'm humbled in serving you, but can you excuse my arrogance and tell me your name."

Nami then smiled deviously as she said, "My name is Nami, and could please feed me, I'm a little tired."

The man not wanting to miss an opportunity where he serves such a beautiful woman then yelled, "Nami-swan, I'm at your call. Your humble servant is here to give you what you need." He then twirled as his legs became like noodles to Nami, and began feeding her with a silly look in his eyes earning both Usopp's and Zoro's anger.

"Hey, what about us three? We're hungry too you know. Don't get something like them?" Usopp asked with an angry face.

Sanji then looked at him with a serious face as he said, "well, you got water, didn't you? So stop whining." He then looked in Robin's direction who was sharing her cake with Luffy so he yelled, "Hey, that's not for you. I gave it to her, you damn ape."

Robin then said, "Is it alright that I feed him, Sanji? He is my boyfriend after all. I'm supposed to care for him." this statement made Sanji blank out a little before coming back much to their amusement.

He was about to say something when a loud voice from across the restaurant yelled, "Oi waiter, care to explain why there's a bug in my soup?"

Sanji then growled as he usually dealt with rude customers these, but he smiled as he went to Fullbody who was waiting for him with a scowl on his face.

Sanji then said in a forced calm voice, "Sir, for the last time I'm not a waiter here, and second…"

He was then cut off by Fullbody who said, "Do you think I care what you are? I asked you a question; why is there a bug in my soup?" he then looked at him with a smug look trying to embarrass Sanji saying, "I sure hope you have a good explanation."

Sanji then looked at the bowl and saw that there was truly a fly in it, but that was no need for a fuss in his books, so he said, "Well sir, I'm not some kind of bug expert, but I think that the bug was attracted to trash like you." He then smile as Fullbody fumed so he said, "Is that all? Because I got better things to do with my life."

Sanji was then hit in the head as Fullbody said, "I'm the lieutenant of the marines Ironfist Fullbody and since I'm here you'll listen to me, you damn punk."

His date tried to stop him saying, "Please stop…"

She was pushed aside as Fullbody roared, "No, I won't. since I'm a paying customer here, that means I'm right, and I want to know why was there a bug in my soup, and I want to know now." He finished as he slammed the dish of soup into the ground.

Fullbody began to feel proud of what he did because many chefs began to whisper in fear, so he thought they were talking about him, but what he didn't know was that they were talking about Sanji who had a blank look on his face as he said in a cold voice to Fullbody, "Can money fill your stomach?"

The man dumbly replied by asking, "What"

Sanji then said as he kicked Fullbody in the face, "Can money fill your stomach?" he looked at the downed Fullbody as he said, "Insulting a sea chef's work is a death sentence." He then proceeded to wail down on Fullbody as many other chefs told him to stop to no avail.

Eventually, he stopped, but that was when Fullbody was a bloody mess between his hands, as he said, "Let this be a listen for next time, never waste away food."

Luffy who was watching this said much to Zoro's annoyance as the food was finally served to them, "I like him."

An elder voice then rang through the entire restaurant, "Little eggplant, chasing away my customers, again?! This must be a new record."

Sanji then threw Fullbody as he said, "Owner Zeff. He…" He was then stopped as a wooden leg kicked him in the head preventing him from finishing his sentence.

The owner of the voice now known as Zeff was a tall man with a very tall chef's hat on his head. He had a large blond mustache and both ends of it were tied in a braid. His most striking feature was a wooden leg instead of his left leg.

The man then proceeded to berate the young chef as he hit him on the head repeatedly complaining about how Sanji was always kicking out customers, flirting with women, and drying up his business.

He then looked at Fullbody who had a smug look on his face, but that didn't last long as a wooden leg smacked him on the head as Zeff said, "And you go out of here. We don't want your money."

Fullbody then yelled, "What the heck is wrong with this place? Even the owner doesn't know how to treat customers."

Zeff laughed as he said, "We do not need the likes of you here. In the sea, you eat what you get and don't complain about it."

Fullbody wanted to argue, but one of his men then barged in yelling, "sir, the prisoner escaped."

Fullbody was shocked as he yelled, "No way that's possible. We kept him without food or water for three days he shouldn't be able to move."

The marine wanted to add something, but then a gunshot was heard as the marine fell to the ground. Then a man with tanned skin wearing a grey outfit entered the restaurant and sat on of the seats as he said in a dry voice, "Food…"

Patty, who previously welcomed the crew, came back with his fake grin, as he asked the man, "Greetings my fellow crook, and what are paying today."

The man then lifted his gun as he said, "Is lead good?"

Patty smiled as he lifted his hand to hit him, but was stopped as he felt something holding him back. He looked only to see a disembodied hand stopping him. he then heard Robin saying, "The gentleman over there will be eating with us today."

Patty then lowered his hand as he looked at the man saying, "You got lucky punk."

The man then looked at the group, and said, "I don't need charity."

Robin smiled as she said, "And who said it was charity? Is it so wrong to help someone in need? "

"Why are you helping me then?"

"Because I want to. You know I know how it feels to be hungry, and wish to eat, so how about you come here and you eat with us."

The man then calculated his choices and saw that he had no alternative, so he stood up and wobbled to the crew. The moment he sat beside them, he said, "Thanks, and my name is Gin."

Robin smiled as she said, "you're welcome, and my name is Robin, and those are my crewmates Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, and Nami."

Suddenly a plate was placed in front of Gin, by none other than Sanji who said, "Eat, free of charge."

"Hey, I said won't take…"

"No, I also know how it feels to be hungry, and wait for a meal. So eat."

The man then dug in his food, as quickly as he can, and ate everything up in a couple of moments saying, "That's so delicious."

He then looked at Sanji and thanked him.

He then looked at the crew, and said, "You guys are pirates, right?"

"Yeah, and I'm going to become the pirate king," Luffy said in excitement.

Gin then shook his head, "well, I'm going to warn you not to go to the grand line because it's a dangerous place with a mind of its own. Heck, I was with Don Krieg and his fleet when we were downed by one man."

Luffy then said, "Man that's some bad luck, but I'm still going."

Gin then shook his head as he said, "Well, I warned you." He then stood up and said, "I have to leave, but thanks for everything."

He then left after thanking Sanji one more time taking a boat from the marines who had run away in the confusion.

Luffy then looked at Sanji, and said, "Join my crew."

Sanji looked at him saying, "Excuse me?"

"I said join my crew. Come one, it will be fun." Luffy said in a hopeful tone that they found their cook.

Sanji then said, "Sorry, but I refuse."

"Then I refuse your refusal." Luffy declared earning a confused look from Sanji who said, "What?"

"I said I refuse your refusal," Luffy repeated himself.

"That's not how it works." Sanji said, but a voice then said, "Go with him little eggplant, your cooking is horrible at best, and you're always scaring away customers. This place doesn't need you."

Sanji looked at Zeff saying, "I won't leave this place until you acknowledge me, you old fart."

He then walked away as Zeff said to Luffy walking away himself, "You have my permission to take him."

Luffy then cheered much to Zoro's increasing headache as he said, "We found our chef."

"But didn't he say he doesn't want to join?" Usopp asked.

Luffy simply said, "Don't worry, I'll convince him."

As that was happening, Nami was watching with interest everything. She saw Luffy's spirit, Robin's kindness, Zoro's strength and loyalty, and even Usopp's resolve. She then remembered her earlier inner struggle and reached a decision. She then said in a quiet voice that everyone heard, "Guys, I need to tell you something."
