Welcome to a new chapter in the Fire Emblem Awakening Arc, today we have some action! some more interactions between Shepherds and Donnel joins the party as well, overall, it's going to be a fun chapter! enjoy everyone.

CrimsonSylvan: Fighting bandits is a staple for RPG now lol and yes, there won't be contradiction here, Rean has limitation in the methods he has for resurrecting someone, but they're not to harsh, a time limit and a limit with how damaged the body can be before the resurrecting won't work, but other than that, it's pretty simple stuff.

Oh! healing magic doesn't work on dead bodies though, healing magic works by accelerating someone own healing ability and boosting it to a high degree, but if a person is dead, then all body functions cease and thus healing magic can force the body to heal.

Kellam has no presence! he's the ultimate side character or mob! lol, poor dude, he always tries to make people noticed him, and yeah, that's pretty much how the Shepherds beat up the Feroxi guards, sound effects included XD.

Chapter 46.

Back at Bandit's Hideout, the bandit that ran away from the Shepherds had made it back to his fellow bandits and immediately told them about the Shepherds, the leader of the bandits frowned and said "... and you're sure about this?".

The bandit nodded "on the grave of my Saint mother, I swear it! it was Chrom and his Shepherds, and no mistake Roddick!".

The bandit leader now revealed to be named Roddick suddenly grinned "heh heh heh, a fancy Lord'll fetch a high ransom from noble folk.

We'll have the little man squealing for mercy in not time!".

Both Roddick and the bandit maliciously grinned, but a woman suddenly spoke up to him "we got nothin' left to take, sirs! please, let our children go!".

Roddick turned to face the woman and glared at her "quit yer bleatin'!".

The woman flinch a bit from the rage in Roddick's face and voice, suddenly another bandit spoke up "oy, Roddick! I think this cow's the mum of the brat that ran away".

Roddick frowned as he stared at the woman, thinking she looked familiar for some reason "...say, I know this one, your the wife of the man who broke my ribs last time we came to ransack your village!".

The woman glared at Roddick at the reminder if her husband's fate "and you killed him for it, monsters! I wished he'd done for you first...".

Roddick just laughed and shook his head "small wonder the brat's got more brass than brains, if your his mum, guess we'll see for ourselves when we catch him, eh?.

Maybe we'll even make ya watch as we gut him! bwa ha ha!".

The woman now looked worried and afraid for her son "n-no! please, he's just a boy!".

Meanwhile.

Donnel took all of us to the bandit's camp, as soon as we arrived he immediately pointed at it and said "this here's where they've taken up camp, your lordshipness".

This kid really is trying to make me laugh here, Chrom glared at me, but I gave him my most serious look while inwardly laughing, which had him sighing and then turning his head towards Donnel to speak with him "er... right, thanks, Donny, stay close, now".

Donny looked surprised and immediately shook his head "beg pardon, milord? you don't mean?... I can't fight, sir! I ain't never even stuck a pig before!".

Chrom looked surprised and well, quite a few of the Shepherds did so as well, I don't know why were they so surprised, after all, it was obvious that Donnel had never had a fight before, Chrom looked perplexed and then said "oh, sorry, I just assumed... I mean...".

Chrom didn't know what to say now, so I did it for him "Donnel, you're carrying a Spear and a pot on your head as a helmet, you also look ready to fight, so anyone would just assume you wanted to help".

Donnel looked at his Spear and then shook his head "I was trainin a bit when the bandits showed up...".

Ah, that makes more sense now, Chrom just shook his head and said "look, just stay here, you'll be fine".

Donnel looked down and seemed upset, I don't blame him from feeling like that, Chrom just practically told him to stay out of the way, Donnel looked up and then said "I wish I was strong as you sirs and madams! kick that scum out single handed, I would!".

Chrom stared at Donnel for a few seconds and then seriously spoke to him "then you should fight and grow stronger".

Donnel looked surprised at Chrom's words and a bit afraid "but I ain't--".

Chrom seemed to know what Donnel was about to say, so he cut him off "no man is born a warrior, Donny, and farm work makes for fine training-- a sickle is not far from a sword, after all.

Bandits may very tougher than wheat, but the principle is the same".

Donnel seemed really unsure, so I decided to give him a hand "Donnel, here, this will help if you decide to fight".

I handed him a Ring with the All Mighty Guard Enchantment, just like the ones I gave Lissa and Miriel, Donnel looked confused but grabbed the ring "this ring will protect you from elemental magic and physical attacks".

Donnel looked surprised, but nodded "ngh.. 'sniff!' all right milords, as you say, I'm no warrior, but these are my people, I gots to do what I can!".

Everyone nodded and smiled at Donnel, Chrom then turned around to face everyone and asked "everyone ready?".

The Shepherds nodded, though Donnel nervously nodded and then said "r-ready! 'gulp' ".

I smiled and clapped Donnel on his back "it's alright Donnel, I'll help you".

Donnel nodded and then looked serious as he said "fight and get stronger, he says... guess it can't hurt to try, sure hope I don't get in the way! gosh, that would be just awful...".

I chuckled a bit at Donnel's nervous ravings "you'll do fine Donnel, just focus and keep an eye on your surroundings, I'll cover your back as you fight".

Donnel nodded and got ready as all of us began to make our way towards the Bandit Camp, for this battle I had the Pokémon surround the camp to make sure no bandit could escape.

Plus they're also going to keep an eye for any innocent civilians trying to escape and help them do so safely, while the Shepherds will be going on the offensive and take care of the bandits as fast as possible.

I will be sticking with Donnel to keep an eye on him and make sure he fights well, Donnel spoted a bandit nearby and nervously gripped his Spear in his hand, taking a life isn't easy.

When I started my new life, I was already a Supernatural being, a Dragonoid and as such I had the wild instincts of Dragon, killing came easy to me and not being a human made me get over it quickly.

But Donnel doesn't have that privilege, so it's only natural that he hesitates, but soon enough he frowned and got ready, I then decided to help him as much as possible.

So I transformed Excalibur from her Bracelet Form to her Whip Form and got ready, Donnel eventually took off running towards the bandit and tried to impale him with his Spear.

But the bandit heard his footsteps and quickly moved away from Donnel's attack, he quickly lashed out with his axe causing Donnel to flinch and panic, but I swung Excalibur's Whip form and smacked away the Axe from Donnel's direction.

"Donnel! snapped out of it and attack!" I yelled at Donnel to make him do something instead if just standing there looking lost.

Donnel jumped in surprise of my suddenly raising my voice at him and immediately jabbed his Spear towards the bandit again, this time however, he was successful and was able to stab the bandit through his chest.

The bandit grunted in pain and tried to pull the Spear out of his body, but Donnel yelled and pushed harder, the bandit screamed in pain and was thrown to the ground while Donnel held him down.

The bandit soon bled out and died, though he did struggled for a bit, Donnel looked shocked and quickly pulled his Spear out, but I called out to him to avoid him going into shock "Donnel! he was a bandit! and evil man who has killed and done all other kinds of evil things.

Do not let his death affect you, it's the least he deserved, you avenged countless people and saved many others Donnel!".

Donnel looked at the dead bandit in silence for a few seconds, but soon narrowed his eyes and nodded "yes, your right milord... let go! me mum is here somewhere, I have to save her".

I nodded and then both Donnel and me took off deeper into the bandit camp looking for Donnel's mother, all around us, the Shepherds easily took down the bandits, though some tried to run away from them.

Only to come face to face to one of my Pokémon, Snorlax, Flygon, Ribombee, Nidoking, Pidgeot, Ampharos and Suicune didn't waste any time and killed any bandits that were trying to get away.

Donnel fought a few more times, the guy bled, sweated and even teared up a few times, but kept going and going, along the way I helped him by making sure he wasn't caught off guard.

Healing him, giving him advice and even using buff and debuff spells to give him an edge in battle, he was certainly getting better at fighting fast as well, it was certainly amazing to see and it reminded me of Bell in Danmachi.

Perhaps, Donnel was a genius when it came to fighting and it was beginning to show during all of this fighting.

Tione and Tiona were fighting with Lissa and Miriel, both twins fought in front of the Healer and Mage, while they covered the twins, suddenly they came into an area with some chests.

Tiona quickly killed the bandits guarding the chest, by snapping their necks or cutting them into pieces with her Naginata, Lissa saw the chests and hummed for a bit "I wonder if the keys are around here?".

Miriel walked over to the dead bandits and took a look in their pockets, she found some keys and was about to tell her group about them, when she heard a loud cracked and a snap.

She quickly looked over to the chests and sweatdroped when she saw that it was Tiona and Tione, who caused that sound by destroying the lids of the chests with their bare hands.

Lissa clapped in excitement, while Tione and Tiona reached into the chest and grabbed the gold and a few weapons from the chest, Miriel sighed but then walked over to the twins to take a look at what theu found "that Spear looks like a Killer Lance".

Tiona stared at the Lance on her hands and frowned "Killer Lance?".

Miriel nodded "a Lance designed to tear into an enemy casing grievous wounds and internal bleeding".

Tiona nodded in understanding, Killer Lance was such an apt name now that she know what it was designed to do "wow, how dark! well better keep it d

for Rean to take a look, he'll be able to replicate it and make it so you guys have plenty of them".

Miriel nodded in agreement, seeing having a supply of these spears as a good thing "that's a great idea actually, having a ready supply of these sort of weapons will be of great use to us".

Tiona smiled and then put away the Killer Lance, Tione then walked over to Lissa and showed her a staff "look Lissa, I found a staff in that Chest".

Lissa looked at the staff and then brightly smile "hmm? oh! this is a Rescue staff! it can warp someone to me with this, that way I can take that person out of danger and heal them!".

Tione raised an eyebrow, intrigued about what the Staff can do "limited teleportation? that's actually pretty useful, do mind if we have Rean take a look at it first?".

Lissa shook her head and then smiled "sure! if would be great if Rean can make more of this kind of staffs or something similar! these are great for transporting the injured away from danger and to get treatment right away, but they're rare".

Tione nodded and put away the Rescue Staff, she also decided to ask Rean to make something like it as soon as possible, it really does sound handy, not only for healers but in other situations as well.

Meanwhile.

Donnel and I have made our way towards the Bandit leader, a big muscular man, who was grinning the moment he caught sight of Donnel, the way this guy looked made me wonder if all bandits go to the same gym or something.

Cause they're jacked as hell, either way, Donnel looked a bit apprehensive about fighting the bandit leader, seeing this I decided to take a more active role in this fight so I walked up to Donnel's side.

Donnel turned his head to look at me, he seemed surprised, but soon nodded and smile "thank you milord... that man there, he's the one who killed me pa...".

I nodded in understanding "I see... then let's avenge him Donny and call me Rean, there no need for all that formal talk between friends".

Donnel looked surprised and stared at me with wide yes full of shock, but I just grinned at him and turned Excalibur into her Spear Mode, Donnel soon smiled and then gave me a nod "right! then lets get him Rean!".

I nodded and took off running towards the bandit leader, he stopped grinning when he saw me approaching him at high speed, I wasn't going too fast so Donnel wouldn't lose sight of me.

But even then, I was running pretty fast, the bandit leader panicked and began to throw Hand Axes at me, but I just scoffed at such a stupid attack.

I easily batted away the Handaxes away from me with Excalibur, not even slowing down, until I reached the bandit leader, he immediately swung his bigger axe at me.

But I smacked it away with the the tip of Excalibur's Spear mode and then jumped to the side, the bandit looked confused as he followed me with his eyes as I jumped to the side.

But then he saw my grin and his eyes widen in realization, he had forgotten about Donnel, the bandit leader immediately turned his attention to the front, but Donnel was already there aiming to impale the bandit leader right through his heart.

The bandit leader was barely was able to sidestep away, but growled in pain as the blade of Donnel's spear cut into his arm, the bandit immediately too swung with his axe at Donnel hopping to behead him..

I was already on the move but stopped when I saw Donnel copy the movement I used to slap away the bandits attack a few seconds before, however, Donnel was a bit too slow and weak for such a technique.

He was able to hit the axe with the tip of hos spear, but instead of smacking the axe away, he was sent flying back from the impact, he landed on his back but immediately rolled backwards and then stood on his knee, while holding his Spear towards the bandit leader and glaring at him.

"Holy shit... this guy is crazy! hahaha!" he really was, Donnel was always a very powerful unit in the game and has access to some very interesting classes as well, he can pretty much fill any role and a lot of characters often point out how an amazing fast learner he is.

But in real life, this sort of talent was amazing and scary to see, it's not easy to be able too see me perform a move and then replicate it almost perfectly, but Donnel almost did it and that shows a potential I've only seen a few times and in a few people.

People like Bell or Issei, even Saji had such talent, seeing Donnel right now made me realize something *he's a goddam protagonist*.

[One of the good ones it seems, he's learning parameters are off the roof Rean, he's a clean canvas, one that has the potential to become anything].

"He did just replicate master's movements, well as best as he could, but that on itself is a big accomplishment, not only was he able to see master move, he was able to move like him as best as he could".

(This boy has the potential to become a Hero, yes, I can feel it, a Hero like the one told in stories in Orario! hahaha it's a shame he wasn't born in my world, perhaps he would have been able to conquer my Dungeon there!).

That's high praise coming from Gaea, especially since she has seen many heroes in her life time, so she's knows what she's talking about, either way, Donnel still needed help, talented as he is, he's still just a farm boy right now.

So when I saw him get up and get ready to charge again, I got ready as well, Donnel soon took off running towards the bandit leader, who now that he has been hurt by Donnel, seemed more cautious of him.

So he quickly threw a Handaxe at Donnel, but he jumped to the side and didn't stop running forward, the bandit leader growled and as soon as Donnel got close he swung his axe down hard towards the farm boy.

However, I blurred to Donnel's side and blocked the Bandit's attacks with the shaft of Excalibur's Spear mode, allowing Donnel to keep going and attack with a slash, this time however, his attack hit the bandit leader's chest full on.

The bandit leader screamed in pain as his chest was cut open, he immediately tried to punch Donnel away, but I jabbed Excalibur's sharp spear blade into his wrist stopping his attack and making him scream in pain again.

Donnel immediately took advantage of the opening I made for him and jabbed his Spear deep into the bandit leader's neck, the bandit dropped his axe and reached for his neck, but Donnel pulled his spear out causing the bandit leader to gurgle and splatter blood everywhere before dropping dead on the ground.

Donnel sighed in relief, but his legs trembled and he soon dropped on his knees while breathing hard, he really did his best, but perhaps he over did it a bit, either way, Donnel did good so he more than earn his rest.

I kept watch over Donnel, while the rest of the Shepherds finished off the rest of the bandits, which was rather quickly since compare to the Risen, these bandits didn't really pose much of a threat to anyone, much less the Pokémon and the twins.

Soon enough, Chrom set the kidnapped villagers free and let them out from where they were locked up, by that time Donnel had recovered so he quickly walked over to Chrom and excitedly called out to him "we did it! we're rid of them bandits for good and all!".

Chrom smiled and nodded "yes, I saw your fights Donny, a worthy first victory, you fought well".

Donnel grinned proudly, but then noticed his mother among the freed kidnapped villagers and immediately took off running towards her "ma! ma, it's me!".

Donnel's mother, upon hearing her son's voice, immediately turned around and smiled when she saw him "oh, Donny! thank goodness you're safe! I was worried near death, boy!".

Everyone walked over to Donnel and his mother immediately noticed that we were the ones who saved her and the rest of the villager, so she softly smiled at us and said "I can't thank you enough for savin' my son and our village, milords".

Donnel's mother then turned her head towards her son "... Donny! where are your manners?! take a knee and thank his lordliness!".

"Snrk!".

Chrom gave me a dirty look, but I ignore it in favor of trying to not laugh at the way Donnel's mom called Chrom, now I know where Donnel got that quirk from, Donnel looked nervous but nodded to his mom "er, I can't begin to repay all what you done for us, sir! th-thank you!".

Chrom smiled and then said "you led the charge, Donny, we just picked off the stragglers, I'm sure Rean would agree with me on this, hone your potential and use it to keep this village safe".

I nodded "you have a talent for fighting Donnel, don't think I didn't notice you mimic my Spear technique, keep at it and you'll become stronger in no time".

Chrom and the Shepherds then turned around and got ready to leave, but Donnel suddenly called out to everyone "w-wait! please!".

I smiled because I knew what was about to happen, Chrom turned around and raised an eyebrow at Donnel "something wrong?".

Donnel shook his head but quickly explained why he stopped us "I has a request, sir, if it pleases your graceliness... take me with you, milord! lemme be a Shepherd like you!! I'm good with livestock, I am! please, sir!".

Chrom and pretty much everyone in the Shepherds 'well except the twins, the Pokémon and I" were very surprised at Donnel's request, but not as much as his mother who jumped in a panic "hush now, you fool boy!".

But Donnel shook his head in defiance "I want go hone my... whatever he said, I want to keep our farm and village safe!.

I never thought I was good for nothin' more than shovelin' dirt...but milord and Rean showed me there's more I can do, more I needs to be doing!".

However, Donnel's mom shook her head and looked worryingly at her son "you needs be knowin' your place, boy! a farmhand's not fit for a royal--".

But before Donnel's moms could get on a full on rant, Chrom cut her off "actually, we'd be thrilled to have him, the Shepherds need every good man we can find and your son fought bravely, isn't that right Rean?".

I nodded "he did, your son defeated the bandit leader, sure I helped but he did the most of the work".

Donnel's mom widen her eyes in surprise "y-you're very kind to say as much milords, but... " the woman frowned and looked down for a few seconds before sighing.

She then looked over to her son and said "well, you're a man grown now, Donny, I s'pose you can make up your own mind".

After saying that Donnel's mother softly smiled at her son, which made Donnel tear up a but "aw, ma...".

Donnel's mom silently stared at her son with a kinda of sad smile "... you just come home safe, love, I'll see that the village is still standin' when you return a hero".

Oh, Donnel was now full of crying and I don't blame him, even my heartstrings were plucked a bit at this scene, I can't even imagine what is going through his head, Donnel's mom then clapped her hands and said "...well!? off with you, then! glory's waitin' boy!".

Donnel widely smile while rubbing his eyes, but soon looked up to his mom and then said "I ain't fightin' for glory, ma, I'm fightin' for you! but if I do find some glory, I'll be sure to bring it home for you!".

Ah son of a bitch, are these two trying to make me cry with all of this sweetness!? suddenly I heard Astraea, Excalibur and Gaea sniff, letting me know they took some emotional damage as well, at least I'm not alone in this.

The Shepherds along with Donnel now, soon left, but I was still able to hear his mother's last words to him as he left "just come home alive, Donny".

I smiled and nodded to myself, I'll make sure Donnel returns home to his mother someday, that's a promise, plus I'll make sure he can visit her later, I'm sure Mew will be happy to offer her teleportation business to him to do so.

After saving Donnel's fellow villagers and mother, we kept going towards Regna Ferox, along the way I gave Donnel an Enchanted Steel Spear made by me and gave his some instructions, Tiona also helped teach Donnel how to better handle a polearm.

As we marched Sully suddenly approached Frederick and grinned at him "there you are, Frederick! I thought you might be up for a little sparring!".

Frederick smiled and nodded "certainly, Sully... all right, you may strike whenever you are ready".

Everyone immediately stepped away from both Frederick and Sully as they got ready to spar, this was a big thing with the Shepherds, you can just walked up to someone an ask for a spar at anytime and anywhere.

It was something everyone often did, to not only grow strong but also learn from their fellow Shepherds, so it not rare to see someone sparring out of nowhere here.

Sully grinned and got her Spear ready "get ready for a whuppin'! hiiii-ya!".

Both Frederick and Sully clashed their spears again and again, Tione and Tione were loudly cheering calling for blood, while Lissa giggled and Sumia sweatdropped.

The guys in the Shepherds just watched on with interest, especially Donnel, who was paying extra attention to the spar hoping to learn something from it.

However, it was clear that Frederick was better than Sully with the spear and he soon parried a jab from Sully with ease "mmm... good technique and excellent form, however, it is my turn now..."

Frederick twirled his Spear around his body and then slammed the flat side of his spear right into Sully's side, sending her flying and causing her to grunt in pain as she landed on the ground "gah!".

Everyone winced the moment Sully crashed against the ground, that looked like it really hurt, Frederick looked over to Sully and then said "are you all right?".

Sully sat up from the ground and nodded "oh yeah! just peachy though, er, I think I'm going to yield...".

Everyone began to walk away, Sully seemed a bit upset and no one wanted to embarrassed her even more by gawking at her, though I could still hear their conversation.

Frederick frowned and then decided to ask Sully what was wrong "is something the matter?".

Sully sighed and then shakily stood up, Ribombee suddenly flew over to her and sat on her head, the Fairy and Bug Type Pokémon gave her a headpat, which made Sully smiled at her.

Though she quickly looked over to Frederick and answered his questions "just wondering how you beat me so easily, is all".

Frederick raised an eyebrow at Sully and then said "I would hardly call such a match 'easy' ".

Sully shook her head and then said "yeah, but I never lose to anybody, well as long as they aren't Rean or the twins they don't count!".

Frederick shrugged at Sully's reasoning and then gave her his opinion "sometimes these things are a simple matter of chance".

Sully stared at Frederick in silence for a little bit "hmm... well thanks for the practice, I'll let you know once I've honed my edge a bit".

Frederick nodded "I look forward to it".

Sully soon left while Ribombee rode on her head, it sounds like Frederick found himself a rival, one that is coming straight for his hide.

After Sully's and Frederick's sparring match, we all decided to take a small break, we had just came out from a battle and then to marching as well, so everyone needed a break and recover some stamina.

Robin, Chrom and I were speaking about Donnel and his potential, when Sumia walked over while calling for Chrom "Chrom? where are you? hel-loooo?".

Chrom sweatdropped at the way he was being summoned, while Robin and I chuckled in amusement, which caused Chrom to roll his eyes at us and quickly stood up to walk over to Sumia "... I'm right here, Sumia".

Sumia brightly smiled as she saw Chrom "oh! there you are, um, so... here, I baked you a pie".

Chrom looked surprised, while Robin grinned "well, looks like Sumia is going to go after Chrom's heart via his stomach".

I nodded "not a bad idea really".

Chrom looked at the pie with curiosity "really? well, this is a surprise... mmm! it smells amazing!".

Sumia softly smiled at Chrom and then said "you've been working so hard recently, I thought you must be tired and hungry... my mother used to bake me a rhubarb and fiddlehead pie, and it always perked me up, Tione told me that getting a pie from me might also cheer you up as well!".

I sweatdropped at that last part Sumia just mentioned "er... at least she's teaching her homely stuff, I just hope Sumia doesn't ask Tiona for love advice...".

Robin raised an eyebrow at me, but didn't ask anything, smart man, somethings are better off not known.

Chrom looked intrigued "rhubarb and... fiddleheads? not mutton? or goat?... or bear? I usually prefer a biy of meat in my pies".

"... Bear? did he just say he'd eat a Bear?".

Robin nodded at me "he sure did, though now I can't help but wonder how a bear taste like...".

Sumia shook her head and then said "absolutely not! meat is the last thing you need when your body is worn out! a stick of rhubarb will clear your bowels and get you right as rain in no time.

That's what my mother used to say anyway and she was always right!".

Chrom chucked and nodded "heh, old nurse Nan used to say the same when I was young".

Sumia giggled "see? they can't both be wrong, now eat your pie while I go clean your small clothes, I now I've seen quite a pile by your cot last time we camped out!"

Chrom looked a bit perplexed, but nodded to Sumia, while Robin and I tried not laugh, these two just sounded and acted like an married couple, it's sort of sweet and funny at the same time.

Sumia then clapped her hands and said "... well, go on! don't mind me now, just eat your pie!".

Chrom nodded, though he seemed a bit unsure "er, well, if you insist ".

Sumia soon left with a big smile on her face and humming her tune, Chrom then looked down at the pie and frowned "Gods I hate rhubarb... but if Sumia thinks it'll make me feel better, I suppose I should force it down...".

Chrom gulped and then quickly ate some of it expecting not to like it, but his eyes widen in surprise as well "mmm? hey, this isn't bad... in fact, it's delicious!".

I smirked and said "well, aren't you a lucky bastard Chrom, a pretty girl just made you a pie, most men would be jealous of you, you know?".

Robin nodded "I'm kinda am, you know what? I want me some of that pie now!".

Chrom jumped in surprise, he must have forgotten about us, but he turned around and then wolfed down the pie right in front of Robin who just gaped at him "its... my... pie!...".

I chuckled and shook my head in amusement "damn, Chrom, chew your food!".

Robin sweatdropped at what Chrom just did "sheesh... I wasn't going to really take it though".

But Chrom shrugged at Robin "... well, that was about the best pie I've ever had and you'll never know Robin!".

Robin looked utterly perplexed while I just laughed at the whole thing, I don't think even Chrom noticed how jealous he just got, I guess he cares about Sumia far more than he realizes.

Sumia suddenly came back "... helloooo? Chrom? I'm baaaaack! oh, have you finished already?".

Sumia sure looked to be in a great mood, Chrom coughed a bit and blushed in embarrassment before nodding to Sumia "I did, and it was amazing! usually rhubarb make me queasy, but not this time! what's your secret?".

Sumia smiled and shook her head "oh nothing special, just a bit of spice here and a pinch of herb there... you can make something taste like anything if you know the tricks".

Chrom hummed and seemed to be pondering Sumia's words, a few seconds later he nodded "well Sumia, I'm more than impressed, you're a true wizard of the kitchen".

Sumia blushed and began to fiddle with her fingers "oh, I'm so glad you liked it, now then! how about a cup of elderberry tea?".

Chrom shook his head and then said "hold on! you made me a pie, so I should be the one making you tea, just let me start a fire and boil some water...".

Sumia softly smiled as she watched Chrom run around to start a fire and make her some tea "oh, Chrom... this is too much, really, hee hee! I knew he'd love the pie! good thing I listened to Tione~ though I wish it didn't take me fifteen tries to get it right...".

Oops, I don't think Robin and I were supposed to hear that, but it seems like Sumia wasn't even aware of us, Robin smiled and the waved at me to leave, I nodded to him since it seems that these two wanted spend some time alone.

So I grabbed Robin's shoulder and then quickly and quietly teleported us away from the area, giving Chrom and Sumia some privacy.

I teleported Robin and myself a fair distance away from Chrom and Lissa, now that we were alone, I decided to propose something to Robin, though Robin at this moment looked mighty surprised "whoa! you can teleport?".

"Sure I can, I just need to know where I'm going and then I can teleport to it".

Robin nodded, crossed his arms and began to think, seems like he's already thinking up about tactics that can work with my ability to teleport, regretfully I had to interrupt his thinking "Robin, I have an idea but I wanted to tell you about it before I actually proposed it to everyone.

You see, I have a domain called My Pokéhome and I was thinking that it would be a great camp for whenever we take a break from marching or battles, let me tell you a few things about it...".

And done!.

Some we had a short battle! bandits are tha much of a deal compared to the Risen, so tgey were easily dispatched by the Shepherds! Donnel also got confident and was bale to fight.

Sure Rean gave him a hand in all of his fight, but he also grew and learned fast, which became a good thing when it came to fighting against the bandit leader, who was easily defeated as well.

Tione, Tiona, Lissa and Miriel found loot! and like good adventures, they took it, which had gold and weapons! at the end of it all, Donnel joined the Shepherd as well!
