Always There
Rafael and Lisa sat down at the Gryffindor table next to each other.
"Look, everybody," Malfoy sneered. "it's Little Lisa and her romani boyfriend!"
"Yeah," Pansy jeered. "you should've heard him on the train! Talking in his sleep!"
Malfoy put on a mocking fake voice and pretended to be Rafael in sleep, "Hmmm... Oh... Lisa... my... beautiful... star! Hmmm..." he said.
Pansy put on a mocking falsetto voice and pretended to be Lisa, "Oh, Rafael, you are my one true love!" she exclaimed.
Everybody except the faculty and Lisa and Rafael's friends started laughing.
Lisa and Rafael jumped up and ran from the great hall.
Professor McGonagall whistled through her fingers loudly.
"That will be quite enough of that! Mister Malfoy, Miss Parkinson! For making fun of Miss Atwood and Mister Moondance like that, one hundred points will be taken away from Slytherin!"
Malfoy and Pansy hung their heads low in shame, "Yes, Professor McGonagall." they sighed.
Back with Rafael and Lisa, they were in the castle's courtyard.
Lisa was sobbing as Rafael held her tight.
"There, there, Lisa, it'll all be okay." Rafael said in a soothing voice.
"It will not, Rafa! Remember your seventeenth birthday," Lisa sobbed bitterly. "that was when Veronica and Neville put black ice into your honey lemon ginseng green tea!"
Rafael cringed, "Yeah, you saved me, what about it?" he asked Lisa.
"That's what they were making fun of!" Lisa replied still sobbing.
"So what," Rafael asked, putting his arms around Lisa. "who cares what those yo-yos think?"
"Rafa," Lisa asked. "how did they find out?"
"I don't have a clue," Rafael said to Lisa seriously. "but I do plan on asking around."
Neville and Dean appeared in the courtyard.
"Neville, Dean, what's the matter?" Lisa asked.
"You both look like you've seen the Bloody Baron!" Rafael exclaimed.
"Lisa," said Neville excitedly. "you've got to come back to the Gryffindor common room!"
"Why? What's going on?" Lisa asked Neville and Dean.
"Somebody ransacked your room!" Neville answered Lisa.
"What," Lisa asked. "who?"
"We don't know!" Neville exclaimed.
"How did they even get in there," Rafael asked. "there are guards against that aren't there?"
Dean nodded, "Yes but there could be ways to get past them." he said.
"We need to talk to Fred and George," said Lisa, "if there's anybody who knows about getting past blocks and guards around here it's those two!"
"Yeah," Dean said. "if you've got the leverage to make them talk, they're very protective of there secret knowledge."
"Don't worry," Lisa said. "because of William Weasley, I've got some dirt on Fred and George, I'll make those two comedians talk!"
"And, don't worry, Lizzie," Dean said, calling Lisa by his own special nickname for her. "the rest of us here in Gryffindor House, all of Hufflepuff House, and all of Ravenclaw are always there for you."
"Thank you, Dean." Lisa said.
Lisa and Rafael raced into Lisa's bedroom to meet up with the Weasley twins.
"I don't know who did it," George said to Lisa. "two students were disguised as Angelina and Lavender by means of polyjuice potion!"
"They overpowered us," Fred added. "and they stole your diary!"
"What? My diary's been stolen!" Lisa shouted at the Weasley twins.
Lisa's fists doubled up and her face flushed with anger until Rafael took her hands to calm her down.
"Take it easy." Rafael said to Lisa, his voice soothing.
Then Lisa began to think.
"Okay," she said, "polyjuice potion is not something that can be made quickly, so we can draw two conclusions."
"Which are what?" Rafael asked.
"One, whoever did this would have of have to been someone with high enough connections to have known way ahead of time that I was coming here, or two, it was someone who already had a batch of Polyjuice potion made." Lisa theorized.
"How does that help us?" Fred asked.
"It helps us because that potion needs a lot of ingredients that can be hard to find," Lisa said. "now, thanks to Hermione, I am fully aware of the school's black market."
Lisa nodded, "I am also sure that they're going to remember someone who asked for the ingredients to a polyjuice potion, and I'll just bet you two know who to ask to find out!" she said to Fred and George.
Fred and George looked at each other, then, they looked at Rafael.
"Though, before we investigate into this any farther," Fred suggested to Lisa and Rafael. "I think we should first see Dumbledore."
"Good call." Rafael said to Fred.
