A Letter To Elle

That evening in the Gryffindor common room shortly after dinner, Lisa was in her bedroom with a quill and a piece of parchment in her hands while sitting at her desk.

Lisa was preparing to write a letter to her cousin, Elle McLeod who attended the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Massachusetts.

Lisa wrote her letter to Elle, then read it to herself.

Lisa's letter read: Dear Elle,

My goodness, where do I start?

So much has happened so far this year.

First of all, Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkenson stole my diary by using polyjuice potion to sneak into Gryffindor tower.

After we sorted that out, we discovered they weren't the only ones making polyjuice potion.

Barty Crouch Junior, one of You-Know- Who'sdeath eaters used it to take the place of Professor Moody, our DADA teacher.

No sooner had we figured that out, we also figured out that Cedric, the captain of the Hufflepuff Quiddich team was murdered by Wormtail!

At the same time, Crouch Junior sat a trap in the Hufflepuff common room.

A magic exploding fireball.

Mike spotted it and threw himself on it smothering the blast and saving everyone in the room, but he was critically injured.

His father had to be brought in to basically rebuild him with all new bionics.

This leads me to some good news, the surgery worked even better than we could've hoped and Michael is awake and getting stronger by the day.

I myself think that Michael was the target of that fireball trap all along because Barty has seen what kind of person he is and knew how he would react when he spotted it.

I further think that You-Know-Whohas heard about Michael Bennett, the first and only bionic wizard in the history of magic and views him as a very serious threat!

So it wouldn't surprise me if he tries to get rid of Michael again, but I don't think he'll find that to be as easy this time around.

Well I certainly hope your year at Ilvermorny has been far less eventful, though I fear a show down with You-Know-Who is inevitable.

I wish you well in all your studies and classes.

That's all for now!

Love,

Lisa.

Lisa sealed her letter and got it ready to send by owl post.

Over in the Slytherin common room, Crabbe and Goyle watched on as Malfoy brewed a love potion to put in Lisa's pumpkin juice the next morning.

"Soon Li-Li will be mine," Malfoy chuckled darkly. "one vial of this and Rafael will be history, for she will love only me."

Crabbe and Goyle grinned.

"You're a real genius, Boss!" Goyle said.

"I know." Malfoy smirked arrogantly.

"How are you going to give it to her?" Crabb asked.

"In her pumpkin juice at breakfast." Malfoy replied.

"What makes you think that she'll have pumpkin juice with breakfast tomorrow?" Crabbe asked.

"Well she's had it every morning since she got here hasn't she?" Goyle snapped.

"Well yeah," Crabbe said. "but that doesn't me that she'll have..."

"Crabbe," an annoyed Malfoy snapped. interrupting him. "stop trying to think before you hurt yourself, and pay attention! Now, you two are going to create a distraction while I slip this vial of potion into Lisa's drink, got it?"

"We got it, Boss!" Crabbe and Goyle said in unison.
