A Dangerous Game Called Love
The next morning just before Lisa sat down at the Gryffindor table, Crabbe and Goyle stopped her from sitting down.
"Um, hi, Lisa." Crabbe greeted.
"And what do you want?" Lisa asked Crabb and Goyle.
"Just trying to be nice." Goyle answered Lisa.
"Trying to be nice, huh?" Lisa asked Crabb and Goyle, eying the suspiciously.
"Yes." Crabbe answered Lisa.
But Lisa was not buying what Crabb and Goyle were trying to sell to her.
"You two are up to something." Lisa said to Crabbe and Goyle.
"We're not up to anything." Crabbe said to Lisa.
"Uh- well- we were just wondering, if we could borrow your notes for Charms class." Goyle said to Lisa.
"Okay, I guess," Lisa said, still not completely convinced. "since when are you two so concerned about homework?"
While Crabbe and Goyle were distracting Lisa, Rafael saw Malfoy putting something in Lisa's pumpkin juice.
"What do you think you are doing to Lisa's morning pumpkin juice, Malfoy?" Rafael asked.
"Just eat, Moondance, this little matter does not concern you!" Malfoy snapped at Rafael.
Rafael went back to his breakfast of mixed berry yogurt crepes and pumpkin juice.
After Malfoy finished his errand, he, Crabbe, and Goyle sat down at the Slytherin table for breakfast.
Lisa sat down and began to fill her plate with food.
On Lisa's plate, she had two big cinnamon rolls covered in gooey white icing, in fact, the icing was so gooey, Lisa had to eat the cinnamon rolls with her fork.
Lisa, Carole and Stevie were chatting away between bites of their breakfast.
"Stevie," Rafael hissed urgently, "you've got to tell Carole to tell Lisa not to drink her pumpkin juice, because I just saw Malfoy messing with it a few minutes ago!"
"Are you sure?" Stevie asked Rafael.
"Positive." Rafael said, nodding vigorously.
Stevie turned and nudge Carole and whispered quickly in her ear.
Carole immediately turned to Lisa and found her with her glass half way to her lips, "No, Lisa! Don't drink that pumpkin juice!" she warned.
But it was too late, Lisa drank her pumpkin juice and now had a far off look in her eyes.
Malfoy came swaggering over to the Gryffindor table.
"Can I walk you to class, my lovely Li-Li?" Malfoy asked Lisa.
Lisa got up from her spot at the Gryffindor table, "Yes I am, Drake Dearest." she said.
Malfoy smirked at Rafael as he and Lisa walked out of the great hall.
