Tuesday, 24 October 2017, Luna Nova
As usual the red team couldn't escape from a jam, staying one more weekend in detention, but with the end of this bad luck also came quiet times, much for the preparation of what would come at the Samhaim festival, which coincidentally happens on Halloween day, since the witches have the major tradition of celebrating the Samhaim date instead of the other, Then, there would be a festival in Luna Nova, starting already with the selection of the roles of each one in the presentations, where they would also participate of a competition among themselves to see who would become the witch of the moonlight, besides that there would be days of class more focused on the preparation of the event, the students would have shorter classes to be able to rehearse in the meantime for their roles that would be given.
POV Akko:
Another boring school day, but it seems that today things will be different, we were called to go to the playground, I signed up for the Samhaim festival, it might be my chance, teacher Ursula told me that Chariot had become the moonlight witch by participating, so it will be my chance, let's see what we will fall into, since they said we will present in different ways, so we have to do a very good role.
I get anxious just imagining it, I see each one going to take the roles, Amanda had taken the cleaning, already Diana and her trio took the best role, just the most honorable one, the one Chariot took... Now let's see ours, I stand up and put my hand in the ballot box, I go choosing a paper and when I look it was written sacrifice, which soon Wangari makes sure to announce to everyone.
"The red team is going to make the sacrifice!" She said and everyone was listening and starting to laugh at me, I wonder what the sacrifice does, it seems kind of cruel, but they were laughing, why are they laughing so much at our role.
I turn back to the girls, already anxious about our role, if it is sacrifice then it means that we are going to stage the epic sacrifice of a heroic witch who had to sacrifice herself for the good of the whole tradition of magic, I can already imagine how this is going to turn out, which I soon see that Lotte was showing a kind of frustrated expression.
"What is it Lotte? Sacrifice can be a great thing, I can even imagine a role we could play"
"Akko, the sacrifice has nothing to do with sacrificing anyone in the story, it's a disgusting tradition, we are going to be swallowed by the vajarois monster, stay inside the creature for a while until we are excreted, that's literally the tradition, it's not cool at all, that's why no one wants to be the sacrifice" Lotte answers to me and I get even a bit disgusted.

Then we saw the other teams and the rest of them were getting cool roles, much better than ours of turning into a monster's turd, worse of all having to stay inside it and on top of that the humiliation, how are we going to turn a moment like that into something epic? "Looks like you guys picked up a shit paper, literally" Diana#2 bitch said, I was going to raise my middle finger, but the teachers were passing in the hallway and I'm not in the mood to have to do punishment again.
"Lassies, stop being so immature, you dinnae seem tae have heard anything I had said tae you days ago, anyway, Akko better do an excellent role being the sacrifice, I know it's a huge shame you dinnae get another role, but I trust you will do your best, just dinnae ruin anything from the event ok? POV Diana:
I wonder what Akko means by that? The sacrifice performance is literally standing still waiting for the monster tae devour her and that's it, there's nae much tae do besides that, but let's see how she'll do, I'll be looking forward tae it, anyway, let's get tae our duties, since we have tae rehearse for our role of making an excellent invocation spell and I already have an idea of how it would be with the storyboards I prepared for each show.
First we go tae one of the rooms, where I stare at a mirror, the cursed mirror, which makes some faces in front of me, even saying some things to affect me.
"You really think you're going to make it, dinnae you? But you'll never be a worthy Cavendish Diana, because you're always being a fraud of yourself to everyone, you're nothing but a big liar" Said the illusion on the other side and I was showing even a calmness.
"That mirror keeps making faces, what does it do Diana?" Hannah asks.
"It's the cursed mirror of Luna Nova, dinnae go near it, it is dangerous, you could end up being affected by the magic" I tell them.
"And why are we here?" She asks.
"I'm just having a moment tae prepare my mind, tae nae give in tae pressure at any moment, only more experienced witches with a strong mentality can hold up a considerable amount of time in the mirror without ending up with some curse" I answer them both.
They are getting impressed, for them it seemed that the mirror only made faces, but I'm hearing very heavy comments that affect my psychology, but I know I can handle it, I've heard worse things and also dealt with much worse things, this here is nothing, it will only serve to stay for five minutes and then we'll come back.

POV Akko:
Sacrifice, what the fuck, literally what the fuck, we got the worst role of all and it's not enough that I am the laughing stock of everyone here in Luna Nova, I will also be for those who are outside, for the nine witches, because I fell into one of these, I could not even think of a role, I'm already walking everywhere thinking of a choreography and so far nothing, the night is about to fall and nothing, anyway... "Akko... Who knew Luna Nova was going to be a big one of a kick in your ass, to think being a witch is harder than I thought it would be" I say to the mirror, strangely it moved differently from me, showing a slightly mischievous expression.
"Maybe you should really get out of here and have a life like a normal person, there's no point in insisting you're a witch when you're not, you have no origin, you don't know the basics, you're just wasting your time in a stupid dream" said the mirror to me and I was getting kind of scared, at the same time furious.
"Listen to the mirror, I won't give up just because of comments like that, I know that one day I will be a witch like Chariot, I know that I may not know spells as well as the others, but I am trying my best, it's not my fault to have something that always holds me back, I even say the incantations properly, but it doesn't seem to go or comes out all wrong, even my metamorphosis spell has been improving a lot, I can transform myself into other animals" I answer and the mirror becomes Diana which even startled me.
"You will always be in the shadow of the greatness of other students here, it's no use even trying, or insisting that you have a possible rivalry with the great name of Luna Nova, put yourself in your place, you are nothing" Said the mirror and then I just shrugged, I was going to punch the mirror, but I don't want to detonate my hand or jinx it, when I notice the mirror continued with Diana, I got a little strange, until I looked down and saw the wavy hair.
"What? I am Diana now... For the nine witches!" I say shocked.

I go to the separate part of the room where Diana stays, she has privacy even for herself, a corner that is a secluded personal library, I take a look around and there are several drawings she did, it seems they are around the choreographies she plans, I take a glance, there are many ideas until on paper they seem to come out well, I didn't know Diana had a talent for art...
Diana's diary, shall I take a look at it? Do you think so? No, I will not do that, I am already exaggerating too much, my fight is not with Diana, but with these two, I avoid even touching them, even if it is irresistible, I think it is better that I keep quiet? It's so cool that they are making a fool of themselves, I can even see the girls from the green team laughing at the two of them when they were passing by, that's how it's going to be, they are going to get a change like that, standing still for a while, heh, let's see now what it is to make fun of me, I could hit them, but I won't do that, it's too low and I don't know how.
"Now jumping jacks" I say jumping up making jumping jacks movements and woah, I have Diana's body too, holding these things a little bigger is weird and different.
They start jumping doing the most ridiculous movements, I can't believe they're still doing it, it's very good, it even looks like a joke the master ordered, they go on doing 10, 20, 30, starting to get sweaty, so much so that the sweat is staining the make-up they've been doing, I swear I'm starting to laugh.
"Diana, we are getting exhausted already, what's all this for" Barbara said.

"Stay there, I'll get you some water, I didn't tell you to stop" I tell them to keep doing push-ups, but what little bitches.
I go walking to the pantry, having Diana's authority, I asked the goblins to give me some peppers, where I go mixing them with water, kind of without realizing the transparency, I've done that many times, they don't ask for waiting, who messed with me in Chiba never messed with me again, I don't need to fight, just be resourceful, besides some cookies with wasabi.
I come back and I'm still not noticed by Diana, good, she must be doing something very important now I imagine, heh, they're really falling for it, I come back and they're tired, with their make-up all smudged.
"Take this eat some and now you will be ready for the choreography" I tell them drinking the water and eating the cookies with wasabi, heh, I'm just showing my mischievous expression.
When they drink in a short time they are already burning, to the point of dropping the glasses on the floor and getting desperate, running for water, which left me on the way, I laughed a lot, at the time some girls were watching everything, kind of registering the moment, what I'm already finding a change to the height, nobody told them to mess with me, I told them to leave me alone.

"What did you do in the hall of mirrors? I dinnae notice your presence, but that's what mirrors can make you become... Is this how you intend tae rehearse for your role? By ruining ours? What a low thing to think that I thought you could be someone with more effort" she said.
"It was an accident, I ended up turning into you, I would go to teacher Ursula so she could make me go back to normal, but then I went to see and everyone thought I was you, even these two, they gave me no choice but to have to act exactly like you, I let the power go to my head, I wanted to make amends yes, you know well how your friends are" I tell her and she just shrugged.

I was starting to get a little shaken, I turned to try to run away, but they surrounded me, looking like they wanted Hannah and Barbara to continue, I was walking backwards, getting scared, I think this is going to be the end for me, I remember when this happened to me in primary schools, I had to fight until I couldn't give anymore with Mei, I don't even know how I managed to beat her, but I don't think I have any option here either.

"Stop it!" I hear a scream and it came justly from Diana as everyone stirred for a fight to roll, then a magical aura gets around me, transporting me out of the wheel, I stand in front of Diana.
"What?" I say confused.
"Come" She said as the people in the circle hadn't even noticed me leaving, so much so that I only heard the spells, while Diana and I ran to the corridors.
I was still all clownish, I was left in my room, she used a spell to clean the clown make-up, the girls didn't understand, nothing, then me looking at everything, I started to cry, I couldn't resist, my nose at least stopped hurting, the girls noticed the drops of blood on my clothes.
"What happened Akko? This looks like a fight" Lotte said.
"I had tae intervene, Akko would be expelled, she was about tae leave with the girls, I looked tae the back and saw teacher Finnelan watching everything, she was just waiting for a move from Akko, so I did a replacement spell, I transported you outside and created a doll identical tae you, just so I could get you out of this" Diana said being nice to me, I even hugged her, I never expected her to really do something like that for me.
"How awful, our thanks Diana" Yanson said.

"I will do it, I will do the best we can, we can do a choreography, since they want to laugh at us, let us give them a reason to laugh in an intentional way, I will use my lack of magic to be creative enough to provoke a positive reaction from those who watch us, if we cannot win with magic and skill, we can still win with the weapon of humour"

POV Narrator:
The Samhaim festival is coming up, Akko's attempt at a change didn't turn out so well, but it served to show Hannah and Barbara that she won't lower her head so much. During the whole dialogue between Akko and her colleagues there was also a curious girl who was listening to some of the conversation by putting her ear to the door, exactly Diana, she ended up being a little touched with Kagari gaining more empathy for her friend, seeing that she has really been put down since the first day.
