And with this freedom Chariot will make the best of it by going on a trip to visit the Du Nord family in France and for this she has also invited two girls, Akko who is the one who has been on this journey the whole time and is also a great fan of the witch since she was a child when Du Nord was the great Shiny Chariot, as well as Diana who, besides being a fan, is related to the Frenchwoman, being a third cousin, very distant, with the same great-great-grandmother, on a trip that they will talk a lot and get to know a lot about themselves.

I got my bags, ready, and with a bit of cold I leave the room, I go to the teacher Chariot's room where there was Diana also waiting, I guess I must have been a little late since she is even tapping her foot, heh... I guess I should have been a little faster, but my hair was a real mess, I needed to fix it to look nice.
"It took you long enough Akko" said Du Nord.

And then I nodded my head, along with the girls, we went with the bags in the corridors, which were a little more empty than usual, many girls left to see the family or enjoy the holidays, few stayed here in Luna Nova, we arrived in one of the parts of the courtyard, where the teacher uncovers a cloth revealing an old purple mini, what a cute car, but also kind of small.
"How are things going to fit in there?" I ask the teacher.

We opened the boot and it was really easy to put the bags, at least two, we put Chariot's and mine in this part and in the back seat we put Diana's suitcase, since there was some space left, we left it well attached to the seat, so it doesn't bounce.

"Take out what?" I ask confused.
"Let's draw on the rock, paper, scissors, who of us will be in front" She said and I remembered now.
We started to decide, Diana took rock, I took paper, then she takes scissors and I take rock and finally she takes scissors again and I still take rock, I managed to win three times in a row, hahahah, she really thinks she can beat the queen of Jokenpo, hahahaha, after we decided I even celebrated.
"Yay! I'll go ahead suck that Diana" I tell her who just keeps rolling her eyes.
"Let it be Akko, have fun in the front, I at least can lie in the whole back seat" She said shrugging her shoulders, but still not the front.
"Well now let's eat something before we leave for France" said the teacher.
After eating...
Wow, I'm full, I never thought I would eat so much, we get in the car, Diana is the first to get in for being in the back seat and having to pass with the seat down since the car only has two doors, then it's me and Chariot, and with that we close the doors, I put the belt and get all excited, it's different, a whole car in a way I've never seen, even more with Chariot driving.
"I didn't even know you drove Professor Chariot" I say looking at her putting the key in contact.

"Let's put a song to play" I say that trying to put something, when I press the play what starts to play is Girls wanna have fun.

"And if it were you we would be listening to Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, or whatever" I say half ironically.
"Bleh, I'm nae that classy, are ye going tae stereotype me anyway? And ye, we won't be singing anime songs all the trip" she said, I would sing, but I don't want to give this moral to Diana, anyway, I'll sing girls wanna have fun with teacher Chariot just to annoy Cavenchata a little bit.
"I come home, in the mornin' light, My mother says "When you gonna live your life right?" Oh momma dear, we're not the fortunate ones" I'm starting to sing and Chariot also goes along with me.
"And Girls, they wanna have fun!" We were singing together and it seems that Diana is looking like a potty mouthed girl hahahaha.

Nine and a half hours of travel later...
Gee, I didn't imagine it would be all day in the car, we arrived in the little town, it was so much fun, crossing the border by ferry to the other side, besides singing, talking, ahhh, I get all excited when there is a trip like this, gee, it got dark, I just want to rest now, that my ass got square.

And wow, I really went, we were even impressed, we opened the door and for now it was a corridor in the middle of the house, where we heard meowing coming through the house, and soon the first people appeared, actually the house cats, who were jumping on the shelves.
"Oh Bartholomew you are still alive" said Chariot who took the cat on her lap and gave it a cuddle.
Then we walked a bit shy, both Diana and I, followed the teacher around the house, where we found the whole family sitting on sofas, kind of watching TV, our Du Nord girls are almost the Cavendish too, I think they must clone each other, there are several Chariots around here, only one older than the other.
"Mama! Papa! Grand-mère! Arriére grand mère Adeleine!" I'm going to have to speak in Flemish here apparently, little does Diana know that I learned to speak it before I learned English.
"That voice... Chariot!" Said her mother turning around and then everyone turned around and noticed Chariot was.
They were walking towards her in a group hug, the cutest thing in the world, the whole family together, it's very different from the Cavendish, they are affectionate, the Du Nord received very well... Wow I think we are going to be very welcome here, our Diana is crying.
POV Diana:
Chariot has a whole loving family, look at that, I even envy her that, really, all that love, I wish I could have at least 10% of that, I could never live since my mother left, fae the nine witches, well at least I can wish her happiness, I even wipe my tears tae nae try tae show anything, what I see is that the oldest noticed me doing that and hugged me.

"Oh these are my students, Akko and Diana, they were very important for me to get here, my parents are called Antoine and Elianna, but everyone calls her Ellie, my grandmother Anna and also my great grandmother Adeleine" said the teacher introducing us and also introducing her family.

Some time after eating, they go to the living room, where Ellie and Antoine are showing the photos from when Chariot was a child...
She was a cute child, I have tae admit, Chariot's childhood seems tae have been something quite wonderful, even more with a family like that, sae much sae that they show more photos, where she had several bandaids on her body.

From there she kind of starts making a flask, filling it with the holy water, which I'm kind of happy about, a little embarrassed, since that means she already implies that I have something with Akko.
"Well keep this sacred water, I know you will use it someday, I felt a strong chemistry between you and the Japanese girl, looks like the next Cavendish will have one of the most unexpected mixtures hahaha" She said and I got all flushed.
"Mrs Adeleine, that's going too far" I tell her, a little embarrassed.
Then we go back up, I hold the small bottle, all excited and happy, leaving it in my pocket, from there I arrive at the living room, I see everyone laughing and chatting in a very light way, how wonderful, only that one thing left me in extreme shock to hear from Akko's mouth.

POV Chariot:
It seems that Diana went to talk to my great grandmother, now she must know where she came from, or I don't know, anyway, we went up the stairs, where I see my door half open, I even feel nostalgic of my door full of my drawings hahaha, the arts I did of videogames, what a thing, I drew a lot of Mario, then I see my Nintendo 64 what Akko goes getting all curious, looking at the tapes and the control.
"How do you hold that thing?" she asks.
"I had three arms before and I could play" I said jokingly, and with that Diana was kind of looking at the pictures.
"I always keep photos of loved ones" I tell her.
"Ye and Laura McLaren were quite good friends, of all the pictures ye have one with just her" And I was already getting kind of thinking, "does she know?"
"Ah she was very important in my life, let's play a little bit girls" I say trying to get away from the subject.
"And ye really won't have a picture with my mother, will ye? It will be hard to find, but I won't give up, I'll find out who it is, finally I want tae play too, I love Nintendo 64, I remember having one at home" Diana said and I feel relieved, she is really thinking she is someone else hahahaha, she hardly knows, she will find out things that will shock her.
We sat in the middle of the pouffes, I'm even having memories of what it was like to sit with Croix and sit on her lap, sometimes even provoking an extra reaction, hahahha I remember she used to panic when the thing went up, but I loved to see her reaction trying to behave, we put to play a game of Mario Party 2, on the map of the pirate ship.

- Oh Akko don't steal my star no, let's make a union, let's get together to take the first place - Diana said as Akko went selecting to steal Cavendish's star and I just kept laughing.
"You already have too many stars, what more do you want? You want a foot massage ice queen" She said being all full of debauchery and I only saw Diana with a half angry expression.

"and I'm gonna destroy your back" Akko has embodied the fifth grade now and I swear I can't stand it, they're too funny playing like that.

"Chariot you only have two stars, even the bot is ahead of you, so you own the Nintendo 64 and yet you are not ahead" Akko said.
Until I fall in Chance time and right at that time I jump to exchange stars and coins in luck catches me and then catches Diana who was leading with 4 stars what she was shocked, poor thing, did not see that one coming.

"Ye're not even paying attention, ye even got burned with the cookie, then talk about me" said Diana and they're starting again, it seems that all Diana's maturity goes away when she's with Akko, it's comical.
"Shhhhhhh fourth place, I only talk to those at the top" Akko said mockingly and then Diana makes a big luck of taking out a lamp.
"When I get this star now dinnae come and talk shit you daft cunt" Cavendish said and I'm laughing my ass off, how can these girls hold it together hahaha.
We kept on playing and also getting the cookies little by little. My mother really outdid herself making them, I love the touch she leaves on the chocolate drops, it seems to get 10 times tastier, by the nine lesbian witches, she's wonderful.
POV Narrator:
The visit to the Du Nord family becomes a moment of revelations for Diana, but also one of tranquillity for all, who enjoy the moment by having fun, seeing how was the childhood of the little Chariot that after 11 years can finally see the beloved family that was just waiting for the return of the youngest girl.
