Friday, 22 June 2018, Luna Nova
The days went by since the excursion to the hills of Dora rolled around and in the middle of that time the classes were ending, being the last days where the girls were taking their final exams and Akko luckily ended up getting good enough grades to ensure herself approved to study the next year, which was a miracle for everyone, despite everything, Kagari was demonstrating how she could also get good enough grades, which no one expected, It was a shock for Luna Nova and a slap in the face for those who never believed in the Japanese girl's potential to excel. With that, the summer holidays arrived, and they will start a time off from school, some of them will go back to their hometown, others will still remain in Luna Nova, Some of them will go back to their homeland, others will continue at Luna Nova, or will take some trips, what the doors of the place will always be kept open to receive the girls besides that there will be a new group of students that will go up classes to study in the graduation years and the girls that will go to the second of three years to become graduated witches.
POV Akko:
It's today, I wake up anxious, I get up, I go to wash myself, already with my clothes ready, I look in the mirror excited, today I'm going to see my mother again, this is going to be wonderful, things are going to be really good from now on, I leave the room and I see that Lotte and Sucy were also packing, we were still in our uniforms, since we were still going to kind of go through the end of the year ceremony, we are going to see the witches that graduated, which I look forward to see everything.
"I can't wait to go with you guys" I say all delighted.
"You could have taken Diana, she who would love to travel with you, you two are already very close, for me I would abandon even my ticket" Sucy said, but I can't do that.

"I can imagine why you two aren't really just friends, but I'm not going to pick on that hahaha, anyway, let's enjoy it, soon we'll be sitting on our asses for hours on a plane" Manbavaran said.
We finished packing our bags and then we went with our ceremonial clothes through the corridors, going to the Luna Nova courtyard, early in the morning we were lined up, holding the brooms while the others did the same and there was a group playing music, there we were and also the second year students, I'll be there next year, it gives me a chill, I look to the sides seeing Diana also looking at everyone, until the headmistress Holbrooke arrives.
"Good morning to all the students and teachers of Luna Nova, as you may know we are ending another year of classes in Luna Nova, marking a new phase in the life of these witches, they studied a long way to get here and become what they will be from now on, now adult witches, they will be responsible for carrying all the honor and tradition of Luna Nova to the world, They are our pride and joy, salute the witches who graduated on the 1331st school year of Luna Nova, the ones who graduated on the period from 2015 to 2018 studying here" Said the headmaster and all of us clapped our hands, as they were called, one by one walking with their gowns.
I can't wait to be one of them, the teacher Chariot must have passed here I'm sure, but already as Ursula, I'll be one of the next to walk around here, as an adult woman, as a graduated witch, I'll make my dream come true, ahhhhh, seeing them all with these clothes makes me envious, I wish I looked that beautiful, I wanted to skip everything for graduation, I even feel like it, them taking pictures with the diploma in hand, I feel like graduating hahahaha.

I go out after the clapping, I kind of walk in the corridors, where there was Diana, we face each other, we go up the stairs together, since the flight will soon start, I can't miss it, I go up to the roof, where we both sit, looking at the landscape, the sky all blue, I love this weather when it's like this and not the typical dead day here hahahaha, I hold Diana's hand tightly, kind of thinking of saying goodbye to her.
"The sky is beautiful isn't it" I tell her.
"Today the skies of Luna Nova really are a beauty, I will miss seeing it with ye Akko, now begin my quest" Diana said.
"I will miss you too, Diana... I will remember every moment we lived here in Luna Nova together, I wanted to come to you so I can say goodbye one last time, soon I will be leaving for Japan - I tell her holding her hand tightly and looking at her face that was already in tears.
"I love ye Atsuko Kagari" She said in words that came out kind of wonderful, I even blushed a little.
"I love you too Diana Cavendish" I was a little bit embarrassed, but I feel the same way.

"I was just about to walk to your room" I say then giving O'Neill a hug.
"You bring joy with your Akko way of being, I don't even know how this place would be without you, I'll miss you, I'll be waiting for you to visit, I'll see if I can bring you with my grandma, then we can have fun in the States" Amanda said after hugging and patting my shoulder.
"If it can happen it will be great, I would love to see the United States and also spend time with you in a new place" I tell her.
Then I hug Jasminka and also Constanze, they also show a lot of reciprocity, what after all this affection I'm even getting emotional, kind of wiping the tears, they wave after me, seriously I wish I could visit Amanda, seriously cool.
These suitcases are heavy, for the nine witches, good that I take the opportunity when I arrive in Japan and get some clothes from there to take here later and leave some there, walking in the corridor, we reach the exit, where we were starting to fly, but the teacher Chariot
arrives, with keys in hand.
"Do you guys need a ride? Your flight is only in the afternoon, that's more than enough time than flying and waiting at the airport, plus we can talk on the way" she said with a smile on her face.
"Professor Chariot!" I say all with a smile on my face.
"Come on, my car is comfortable, on the way I will buy a snack for you too, we will talk and everything else, besides it is dangerous to fly on a broomstick with such a lot of bags" said the teacher to us.
She really saved the day, we walk towards the purple mini, where we leave the bags in the whole boot of the car, it was enough for us to fill, which then the girls go in, Lotte and Sucy getting in the back and me in the front, this is all so cool, we even turn on the stereo.
"And to think we were going to carry the brooms at the greatest risk" Lotte said.
"Oh that's interesting, I want to see what would happen with Akko flying all clumsy and making her bag fall down hahahaha!" said Sucy laughing at me.
"You always being sadistic aren't you Sucy" I say inflating my cheeks.
"Ahhhh you three, you are the most fun trio of Luna Nova, I don't know what would be of this place without a trio that is up to no good, you were the one that gave a light to everyone, before Luna Nova was so monotonous, even with the girls of the green trio, you kind of lit up everyone around you besides you, that's what I admire" said teacher Chariot.
After a long journey, chatting, singing a few songs, Chariot arrives in London at Heathrow International Airport...
I remember from here, I had to leave with the bags and catch a bus after to the bus station of the city, where I was catching another bus to Glastonbury, was the last time I talked to my mum, before I had my phone taken and I don't even know where they left it, they said it was accidentally broken, but I'm sure they destroyed it, they will see when I return in summer, I'll make sure to hide the phone.
We arrived with the car, my stomach rumbles, we unload the bags, leaving them in a cart, where we walk in the terminal, first we go in line, I'm anxious, waiting to unload everything, what I'm kind of seeing is a girl that reminds me of someone else in line, but she was wearing sunglasses and covering her face, kind of suspicious, she just handed the bags, revealing her face, she is on the same flight as us, from what I saw it was in first class, then we came.
"Tickets and documents please" Said the girl at the airport as she handed over my documents and so did the girls
"Here they are, they are from the three of us, I bought them for them" I say to the girl.
"Alright, cleared, we have three foreigners here with a flight to Tokyo, one who is returning home and two visiting, Luna Nova students, Atsuko Kagari, Sucy Manbavaran and Lotte Yanson, you can leave your bags" She said and we went about doing so, I'm barely waiting to go to Japan, with our bags being labelled I see them going down the huge corridor, after the queue, we go to where Chariot was waiting for us.
"So it worked out?" She said.
"And since, now the flight is in two hours, we have plenty of time" I say excitedly.
"Ah yes, come with me, eat something, you must be starving, you have no idea of the surprise that will await you in Japan..." Chariot said and I am already curious, will she also fly with us? It would be incredible.
"What are you going to Japan too?" I tell her, who keeps laughing.
"I'm not going, but there's going to be a surprise, with a certain someone, I talked to her and you'll love to know when she shows up" Someone... I'm starting to get my suspicions, but well, I just want to see where it goes.
We walked to a Mcdonald's, it was a long time that I hadn't eaten in one, the last time I went there was at Burger King and it was with Diana that never eats anything from here, we ordered some bigmac, small fries, soda, ice cream, nuggets and apple pies, Chariot really let us dream, even the toys we could take hahahaha, the ones I left in our bag were Mario Kart toys.
We all sat together and enjoyed the snack, I'm already loving every minute of this day, to think that there's still the surprise that I have no idea what it is, but in my head, there are some things that I imagined.
"A surprise, Professor Chariot... What would the surprise be? I just get more and more excited" I tell her while stuffing my mouth.
"It's a surprise, if I tell you it will be no fun, but anyway, I feel very happy to spend time with you around here, you are wonderful friends, not only students, you could light up a lot of things in my life" she said.
"Ah, that's because you deserve it, you're the most amazing witch in the world" I said as I dipped the potatoes in the barbecue.
The flight schedule comes close...
I am full, all that snack really left me with a full belly, the time passed in the waiting, we were talking, but now it's time to go, we go to the boarding where we hug Chariot, I fill myself with tears, I couldn't believe all that I went through in all this time, I was remembering every thing, every moment, the emotion came like a truck running over.
"Thank you Chariot, for everything you mean, for everything you have brought me to, you are the best" I tell the teacher sinking into tears.
"Oh Akko, I will miss you too, you were very important to me too, I know you loved your time in Luna Nova, I hope that after the summer I can be a better and nicer teacher to you" Said the teacher who is already the best.
"You already are, you are amazing, wonderful, you were my inspiration to get here, I love you Chariot" I say to her who strokes my head.
"How cute, me too, but you won't miss your flight" she said and I was remembering the flight already seeing Lotte and Sucy waiting for me.
From there I went through the gates waving to Chariot, looking forward to go to Japan, even more with my friends, I can't wait to see what's going to happen... This surprise, the only thing missing is my mother showing up at the airport, but that's a certainty, well let's go, I'm sure the trip will be long, a direct flight with no stops to Tokyo, I'll sleep the whole way.
A while earlier, on the very same morning in Luna Nova, Diana was also preparing something...
POV Diana:
I go down from the roof, I think it's time tae prepare the things fae the boarding, I told teacher Chariot a few days ago that I want tae surprise Akko when she is in Tokyo, she has nae idea, I go tae my room, together with Hannah and Barbara, who came with me, we kind of met sae she wouldn't suspect, arriving at the room I start to finish packing.
"What a surprise Diana, you and your pride, you can't even tell Akko that you are going too" Barbara said.
"I want it tae be a surprise, as ye know, also her birthday will be in a few days, I want tae be present, who knows also earn some extra points" I say closing my bag, then grabbing my clothes and going to the bathroom.
"You two are the most convoluted thing you have, seriously Diana" Hannah said until I walked into the bathroom and went to change.
I put on a white dress, some trainers, besides a hat I leave my hair tied up tae hide it in case I run into Akko, then I decide to put on sunglasses, I look kind of cute, since I heard that the Japanese summer is very hot, sae it's better tae wear lighter clothes, I leave with my clothes in hand and make sure tae ask both of them.
"Sae lassies, do ye think Akko will recognise me like this?" I ask them.
"Absolutely" they both say together.
"Oh come on, ye lassies dinnae help, I pinned my hair back sae she wouldn't notice anything, the hat kind of hides it and the glasses help her nae tae see my eyes" I explain tae them.
"From a distance she might not recognise it, knowing Akko, she's always a bit of a reader" Hannah said.
"Hey! Dinnae call her a slowpoke, only I can" I say blushing.
"I can see that someone there is even jealous, what a cute thing" England said picking on me.
After this conversation I still get my things together, I'm barely waiting tae catch the flight, I hope nothing goes wrong, I get my broom and sae I'm leaving in disguise, but before that I meet teacher Chariot in the corridors.
"I'll give her a little delay, go fly, our little secret is quite safe" Du Nord said, heh, good thing I can trust the teacher.
I then start flying, taking advantage of the jacket, nae tae be recognized, I pass through the ley line, going tae London, ahhhhh, I love this air of freedom you know, I can't wait tae arrive, which I will make sure tae disguise well.
After a long flight...

I hope it dinnae take too long, I dinnae want Akko tae find out the surprise before the time, the worst thing is that I look a bit recognizable like this, the line is moving at least, I hope nothing unpleasant happens, Rosemary told me that these are updated documents from my passport, but she made sure that I'm nae getting my mothers name, I hope this will pass.
As time passes Akko arrives when Diana was about to take her turn...

"Thank ye very much" I said handing the lass my bags, then I was leaving, kind of hiding, I look at the lassies, I see Chariot at the corner waving tae me, holy shit she recognized me, sae much that I feel my mobile phone vibrating.
Already Akko and the others were chatting, sae I walk over tae where the waiting lobby is fae the first class flight, as I enter there I grab the things from my bag and see what she had said in her messages.

[Me: I know, you don't think I almost had a panic, ah and thanks for helping on this one, I think Akko will love the surprise] 14:31
I enter the waiting lobby, where I order a tea, also some food, I decide tae go fae a sandwich, it's interesting that they have them in first class, they are ready very fast, I take them tae my table, where I watch the TV, with the same news as always, I eat, already knowing how the flight will be, ahhh, I can't wait to see Akko and her reaction, again I see my phone vibrating.

I pass through the gate, I go tae the metal detector, where I leave my bag with my personal things, passing calmly, then I go tae the customs, I leave my passport documents, passing calmly, then I get in the plane and I get anxious, arriving at first class with all the nerves coming, fae the nine witches, it's sae many emotions, I can't wait tae arrive. By bad luck I dinnae get the window seat, it was a lady next tae me, who was sitting there.
"Oh young lady if you want you can stay at the window, I don't mind" said the lady.
"Oh it's ok, nae need, I'm already right here" I tell her kind of already quite anxious.
"Ah what a nice young lady, she's going to do something special in Tokyo, young like that" she said and I go politely chatting.
"Ah I'm just going tae surprise some friends of mine, kind of enjoy a few days, in fact I dinnnae even know what's ahead, I even learned the basics of the basics of Japanese to try tae talk heh" I say to the lady that was Japanese.
"Oh I am coming home, I went to visit my grandson who is studying in England, he is doing very well in college" said the old lady.

We are arriving, the plane finally landed, we get up, I got sleepy, luckily I got the three middle seats with Lotte and Sucy there, we are getting up, luckily they are not afraid of the plane or anything, I pass by the corridor, walking out, wow, we really arrived, we were waiting in the immigration line.
"Who would have thought we would arrive," said Sucy.
"Welcome to Japan girls" I say cheerfully.
Then we were delivering the documents to the immigration, where our passports were stamped, then we go to get the bags just waiting for them to roll up to our hands, I love to do this, it was cool when I went to Luna Nova and it's cool now, I get my bag, the girls too, I can't wait to arrive, give my mum a hug.
I walk down the hallway, where I pass by everything and see her holding a sign, which I drop my bag and run for the hug with my mum, jumping towards her.
"Akko!" Said my mother before falling to the floor with my hug.
Then I get up and hug my father who was also there, I even start to cry, a bit emotional, I couldn't believe to see them again, it's so good, I feel like the happiest witch in the world, ahhhhhhh, I get all emotional, the three of us did a family hug almost falling and losing our balance and I feel all happy and excited.
"Looks like the little klutz has found her family" Said a familiar voice, which I end up turning to see and it was Diana with her arms crossed.
"Diana!" I say running to hug her, I jump in the hug knocking her over I can't believe she came too, this is going to be the best holiday of my life.
"Ye as always being Akko aren't ye" She said getting up.
I get up after that, kind of scratching the back of my head, I didn't expect that, out of nowhere Diana catches me by surprise coming to see me, I thought she wouldn't even come, then it was what she hid the whole time... I am even shocked and I make a point to introduce everyone.
"Dad, Mom, these are my friends, Lotte and Sucy, they came with the tickets you sent me by letter, and this is my other friend, Diana, she bought her ticket, and you girls, these are my parents, Mrs. Saori and Mr. Hayato, they are the best parents in the world.
"Friend? It's more like girlfriend what you and Diana are being" said Sucy making me blush in front of my parents.
"Sucy! Diana is my friend! Stop making things up!" I say, all embarrassed.
"Oh how cute, our little bunny is turning into a tomato" mom said.
"Oh bunny, is that what ye call Akko?" ah not my nickname when I was a kid.
"She loves carrots, even more as a child, we decided to nickname her Bunny because of that and also because of her teeth, which once she had a bit too big in the middle" said my mother already making me embarrassed.
"How cute, I'm going tae call her bunny now hahaha, who told ye tae call me cabbage patch now" Diana said and I swear I'm going to explode here.
POV Narrator:
The summer holidays begin and Akko decides to start with everything, on a trip to Japan with her friends, having a surprise that is the presence of Diana in the middle, which will make things much more interesting in the relationship of Cavendish with Kagari, besides the trip itself having someone else.
