POV Narrator:
Friday, 7 September 2018, Luna Nova
The first week of school in Luna Nova passes like a rocket, the new girls are making a lot of noise in the first year classes, especially Hellene, who is showing that she is really Diana's sister by her talent in magic, during the practical classes, impressing the whole class with her way of using magic, without a wand and still managing to perform spells with great ease. Besides, the girls are practically there making their characters for the RPG that will take place at the weekend, already having a notion of their classes.
POV Hellene:
I wake up for another day of class, I get up a lettle earlier dan the girls, I go to do my personal 'ygiene, den I change and put on a more appropriate outfit to start exercising, a pair of running trousers and a t-shirt, den I go downstairs, where I go to de school canteen and enter through where de goblins were making de food, I open de fridge and get some eggs, I put five into a cup and take a deep breath.
"You really are quite a strange new girl" Said one of de goblins after I drink it all in.
"Ahhhhhh, I still can't get over de taste of dis disgusting stuff, but I need to eat to stay strong - I tell dem and after drinking it all I take a deep breath.
Now it's focus, I start walking to de outside, dere was nobody there, I take de opportunity to stretch myself, looking at the Arcturus landscape outside, if 'ere did not restrict technology it would be much better, at least I would be able to exercise listening to music.
Good dat I'm very flexible and so I don't 'ave problems, since I was young I always practiced a lot, now my body is the way I want, it's time to exercise, I start with a simple walk, come on Hellene, let's make these legs strong, after all Daryl can't 'old me.
"It's so lonely here in the morning," I say to myself, looking at the vastness of Arcturus.
Running around the schoolyard I get all de strength, for me it is quiet, compared to what my mother pulled me to do before, until it is quiet to exercise like that, I notice dat dere is a very strange glow in the background, but I just ignore it, it must be the plants of Arcturus doing something, there must be the greatest danger.
A time after the walk...
Now I've warmed up enough with de walk, I go to de school gym and 'ere at least it has gym equipment, what I'm starting to do some weight training, wow, nobody should use dis here, but I do, just to get strong, I admit that I miss de training with mommy Laura. I start doing de basic lift in the supine, I put 40 kg of each side, I won't be heavy, I will only go in de rhythm that I can stand, de intention is not to be giant, only strong, now we go.
"That's it Hellene, go ahead lassie" I say to myself in the empty gymnasium of Luna Nova.
It's kind of heavy, but these arms here are de ones dat 'old anything, besides making me beautiful and strong, I do the repetitions with a certain tranquility, de last ones are getting heavier and starting to wear my body out, but dat's because of the weight, at least now de sweat is refreshing, I finish the repetitions and look at myself in the mirror.
"Wow, I'm strong even, what beautiful arms" I say, even panting a little.
I smile, but out of nowhere Daryl appears in the mirror, I look back and she wasn't there, I start to get apprehensive, I had seen 'er in the mirror, it can't be dat dis damn thing came to get me, I get in a defensive position, but out of nowhere several of dem appear in the mirror, coming to scare me even more.
"What's the matter Hellene McLaren? Are you scared?" she said through the mirror, and I just went on apprehensively.
"Show your face den you coward" I say with clenched fists.
"Ohhhh, look at the terrified little one, Diana's little sister, who is going to be quiet or else I will come after you and it won't be nice" she said intimidating me.
"I'm not scared of you Daryl, you don't scare me" I say confidently.
"But you should have, if you open your mouth to Diana know that you will never see your mother again, your sisters, but you might have a chance to meet your mother Bernadette, it might be a fair exchange, but I know you don't want that" I was trembling a lettle, but I remained strong.
"I won't say anything to Diana, but it's not because of you, I choose not to talk yet, stay away from us Daryl, I won't hesitate to attack you" I tell her.
I don't know why, but this damn ding gives me a 'uge feeling of fear, even though she doesn't seem strong, she knows how to intimidate very well the gym was getting very dark, it wasn't only the mirrors this time, as if something was going to cover me, but I remained standing and willing to fight, so much so dat I went to throw a punch, boeht it caught in the air, goin through from nothin in the middle of everything.
"What?" I say half shocked.
"Let that stand as a warning, it's not your muscles that will protect you" She said who den disappeared out of nowhere too.
I got a bit scared, I even punched the wall as hard as I could using my left hand, this damned ding is going to see something... I drink water and I'm not going to be a weakling dat gets carried away by mental games... I start training again, already goin to get more weight, dis time the ones dat are one hand in each, 30 kg in each hand, I know I can do it, come on Hellene McLaren.
After the long training...
Tired and panting, I took it a little heavy after dis intimidation, what even I sit all panting on a chair, Holy Mary McLaren, how I am a fearful... I 'ave to be alert, Daryl is smart to be a coward, I can be strong, but she is smart and she will attack me in a coward way, dis is just de beginning, I knew dat at some point she would show her face.
As I rest a little I remember de classes and with dat I leave the gym and go to Luna Nova, dis time dey already had girls eating, I go up to my room, I enter dere and already go to de bathroom, the two were just waking up.
"How quick" Annabel said.
"I think she trained hard Mari said. I was just reflecting and looking at the shower and the drops of water falling on my body.
At least de water falling on my body relieved, a bit cold, but it was because I wanted to leave it like that, I usually also take cold baths to improve my conditioning, besides doing well to de skin. I get out of de shower and wrap myself in a towel, Mari is the one who goes taking a shower after me, I on de other hand go to change, I put on my uniform and now I'm ready, de girls put a screen because dey are ashamed to see me changing in front of them.

"Bummer, but did you manage to train?" she asks and I nod.
"Dat's exactly what motivated me to go harder today" I replied to her.
During the lessons...
Today is broomstick flying lessons, finally, I have been so looking forward to it, we all stood in an organised row to start lessons, our brooms were given out and the teacher arrived to start the instructions.
"Okay, do any of you have trouble flying on brooms? We will be having a practice class at the most, teaching the basics, since the broom relay is coming up and you will be participating against the third and second year students," said teacher Nelson.
"Oh teacher, when will the broom relay take place?" I ask her.
"Two weeks from now, on the 21st, you all practice because it is one of the most important events of Luna Nova, it serves to welcome you, so listen well, to fly on the broom you speak Tia Freyre, the rest is up to you to control, you can start practicing, I will be watching you" she said.
I simply snap my fingers making de broom go up which everyone goes looking with admiration, den I mount de broom, which I start to go flying from one side to de other just kind of getting used to it, passing by some pillars dat I saw as an obstacle, den near de girls at high speed, braking with a speed dat even I am impressed, which I then wink to everyone and de teacher even gets a shock.
"It looks like we have someone here who has come close to dethroning Laura McLaren," said the teacher.
"Woah... We have the best student of Luna Nova in the first year" Said one of de lassies and I was denying it with gestures.
"No I'm not, second year Diana Cavendish must be way above me" I tell them.
"Her time was 0.2 seconds ahead of Diana Cavendish and her braking time was almost instantaneous" said the teacher and everyone clapped deir hands which I was embarrassed about.
I even turned my face and decided to just go flying normally, kind of still training, but everyone kept admiring me, I was just getting warmed up by the nine lesbian witches, I don't want to be adored like that, I just want to be good at flying on a broomstick anyway, I'm doing dis to distract attention and soon de others were doing de same, I 'ate when that happens, I know I fly well, but I'm not de new Laura McLaren or anything like that.
After the end of the broomstick flying lessons...
"Wow Hellene, I didn't know you were so good at flying on a broomstick" said Marianne.
"Ah not as way as Mirage, she can take apart the broom and make it look like she's running on the sky, dat's awesomw, I can only do the basics of de basics, why dedn't dey pay attention to her" I say even de self appears.
"Hey Hellene, I can't wait to beat you in the broom relay" she said and I like it, she is provocative and wants to see me as a rival, so much dat I shake her hand.
"We'll see about that, lassie, I can also fly well, in fact it is an impressive form of propulsion" I tell her.

"Louise only retired because of Gio, they would continue to race, not to mention she was still a mother of four daughters, must be the biggest responsibility, but it was cool, the BGP broom races are really cool... Anyway, what do you think about the idea of restoring something similar only with the safety and modernity of today, car racing wasn't much different from broom racing back then and look how much safer Formula 1 is today than it used to be" I'll just nod my head in agreement.

"That's why it's just a dream, but we could do some championships between us, do some tracks here in Luna Nova, just to see which of us is the fastest" she said, and I agreed.

And the two stayed for minutes and almost hours talking about how to make a broomstick racing championship in Luna Nova, until they planned well the route that each one would take, until the afternoon classes started, this time being the magical metamorphosis classes, which would involve transformations of a mouse into some creature.
"All right girls, you know that one of the basics of witches is to use the magic metamorphosis spell to transform harmless creatures into intimidating or the opposite and a skilled witch can perform this with ease, so line up and each one transforms into a specific animal" said teacher Badcock, now yes I am eager to do my part.
de lassies are turning into birds and everything else, even frogs, I'm thinking of something cool, that everyone will freak out, but just to see if I'm good enough at dis, I train so much self defense spells dat I forget about dese silly spells, let's see if I can do it.
De line was going and soon it's my turn, the teacher gives de wand in my right hand and I just leave it on the table.
"Aren't you going to use your wand Miss McLaren?" She asks.
"I'm a McLaren we don't use a wand and I'm left handed too" I tell her and I go straight away gesturing with my hands, without needing to say de spell I turn the little mouse into a freaking nevermore.
"A nevermore? These creatures are from Arcturus, only a witch with a lot of knowledge and control of magic can make a creature like that appear, it's the first time in years I've seen someone make a creature from Arcturus from a simple mouse and still a very rare one, excellent work Hellene McLaren, that was impressive" She said until I turn back and everyone's mouth drops open.
"We could even ride on top of it, imagine how cool a lot of nevermore in the air"
"Nevermores are hostile and dangerous creatures, they are known to devour witches, you were lucky to make a tame one appear, anyway you owe my congratulations" Said the teacher clapping 'er hands.
Everyone in front of me was doing the same, as if I had done an impossible ding, for the nine lesbian witches, I just wanted to see what I am capable of, I dedn't even want to impress anyone, but it seems dat everyone only thinks dat, holy shit... Everyone even clapped their hands and I went back to my seat sitting down just paying attention to the others.
"Girl a Nevermore? You never told me you have all this magical ability like that, what's your secret? - Annabel said impressed with me and I just shrugged.
"She wants to impress the second year Diana Cavendish - Mari said picking on me and I just shook my head in denial.
"I don't want to impress anyone but myself, I am very trained in self defense spells because of my mother, she helped me a lot to become stronger and have control of magic, the rest that comes is extra - I tell them trying to explain myself.
"A prodigy with another prodigy, it seems this time the attraction came from proximity - Leclerc said picking on me.
"It's easier for me to be attracted to you than to Diana Cavendish, since you see me as a prodigy why don't you try some more? - I flirt with her and she now blushes.
"Don't come with that Helen, your flirting isn't fooling anyone - She said and I just want to see if it won't.
After the classes are over...
POV Diana:
It's really good tae see that Akko has improved a lot, she's managing tae show how she's going tae be quite a rival in this broom relay, I can't wait fae a fortnight from now when we compete against each other.
We arrive at the cafeteria, all of us gathered tae eat as usual, it seems that the first year lassies are also getting a lot of attention, when I arrive there everyone points at me, which I find even strange.
"There she is, come on Hellene, challenge her" Said one of the first year lassies bringing the McLaren closer tae me.
"Challenge? But why?" She's all messed up, I guess she must have impressed everyone.
"Hey Diana is gossiping that Hellene from the first year wants to strip you of the throne of Luna Nova's student prodigy" Avery said, but I dinnae think that's logical, ye can see her face as it's nae that.
"Are you going to leave that way Diana?" Said Chloé teasing as well, I could only see Hellene slightly uncomfortable, she dinnae want tae be in this.
"I know, we can get them to move the statue, remember when Akko came here and she challenged them to do that?" Said Avery giving the girls ideas and I just put my hand over my face.
Worst of all is that the whole crowd was pushing us out of the way, I can't believe they're actually going tae stay in a silly competition, I even get a little sad face, even more sae because she dinnae seem tae be very keen on doing that either, but come on, the worst of all is that it's going tae end with one of us humiliated and I honestly prefer tae lose in this one.
"And so what? Are they going to wait?" Said one of the first year lassies.
"Come on people, this is nae a competition, have ye ever stopped tae ask us both if we really want to do this? Stop being sae silly, ye are acting out of emotion"
"Look who's a coward, you're really going to let yourselves be taken in by Diana's talk, she just wants to run away, because she knows she's losing her throne of best, don't listen to that one, go for me" said Chloe, who was getting the lassies even more excited, I only felt her hand on my shoulder.
"Let's joehst do it soon, den dey'll stahp booehthering us, sorry..." She said and I could genuinely see her sorry expression, she dinnae want to be in this and neither did I.
"And then show me what you can do" Chloé is such a daft cunt, she hates me sae much that she wants tae pull me into doing things against my will.
I was the first, I moved the statue, kind of trying to scare everyone away, but the girls kept clapping their hands, what the hell, I must have been scaring them, which only impressed, until I finished moving it, I decided to be honest, it would be worse to lie that I don't know how to use magic right.
"It was bad of me to put you up to dis Diana" she said, even apologising even though it wasn't her fault.
At the time I noticed that she dinnae use a wand, she is a McLaren, they dinnae really use them, she raised her left hand and snapped her fingers making de statue move, which in this was starting to move her finger, I am impressed, she really has a better control than mine of the magic itself, But that must be because she wasn't affected by Chariot, I won't belittle her, I actually recognize that she was better, the statue's movements are quite remarkable, she even managed tae do some flips and then put the statue in place and I even clap my hands.
POV Hellene:
I hate this, I don't want to do dese things, I don't want to appear, because dey forced me into dis, I'm only using my magic, even more so because my sister has been clapping for me, now dat dey're going to get on my case fahr good, I get a bit unresponsive, even silly for everything, I don't like this exaggeration.
"Then we have our answer, our prodigy is Hellene McLaren, she did more than Diana and still without a wand, that's real ability" Ah, they're really going to pick on something I've been taught since I was a child, I just got used to not using a wand, it makes no difference.
I even turn around and use my magic to open a path and run out, I got all overwhelmed, I 'ate all this adoration, I went up the stairs to the 'allway where it was quiet and I felt a 'and after on my shoulder, I get even scared and try to get defensive, but it was just Diana, she was showing concern, for a few seconds I thought it was Daryl.
"Wow, that was an amazing magical barrier, ye pushed everyone away at once, I followed ye and I was worried, look, ye dinnae have tae feel guilty, I dinnae give a shit about the title of prodigy or nae, I even appreciate it, ye took a huge weight off me - she said and I still feel bad.
"I 'ate dis, dis exaggerated adoration, I'm joehst a normal lassie like any other, I'm not a goddess of adoration, dere's no reason to put me on a pedestal, I'm joehst on my... I joehst wish that I don't know... We could live in peace, I can't even try to see where I can get to, dey already think I'm the next of the nine witches..." We then walk together and out of nowhere a light comes towards us, hitting Diana with everything, it was a spell and caught me by surprise, I only saw my sis then falling to de ground and then someone wearing a ninja outfit or something like dat appeared, it's a woman, so much so dat I'm already in a defensive position.
"who do you dink you are?" I say to de one about de strange ninja who den out of nowhere uses a cloud of smoke and disappears out of nowhere.
I look back and see that Diana was on the floor, she was even unconscious, I soon feel that she was breathing, but what the fuck, they threw a surprise murowa right in her face, I dink it's better to take 'er to 'er room, just then I see Mari coming out from the middle of the corridors, she was 'iding watching everything.
"Hey I saw the gossip, do you want help?" she asks and I simply take Diana in my arms.
"No need, I'll take her" I say while holding my sis in my arms.
Even so Mari insists on going with me, we go to 'er team's room, carrying 'er still in my arms, luckily there's no one there, I lay 'er down on the bed and caress 'er head, she's fine, it was just a Murowa, but it was necessary to erase Diana for a while, I'm sure Daryl was involved in dis.
den we leave her room, leaving 'er alone, which is pretty weird, even more so since it was only after I talked to 'er.

"Well, at least you behaved, but stay away from Diana, open your mouth once more and it won't be only a Murowa that will be thrown and the target won't be her either, but you Hellene, I think it's good to be careful" she said approaching me and with my fist already clenched I went up to notice that it was only a mirage.
"Shut up!" I say furiously.
"Ohhhhhh, I think I think someone got the message, do you think I'd be stupid to show up around here, I'm going now, soon the brats will show up around here, I think it's good the little friend also got the message" She said disappearing.
I was all shaken, without any answer, feeling powerless, as if I was not going to 'ave any hope of getting 'er and putting an end to this, I feel all shaken, even more so when I see dat Mari was on my side, now she knows everything, I see dat she was also terrified.
"So that was it? You two are sisters?" She said shocked and I just nodded.
"It's a very heavy story, you 'ave no idea. Promise to keep it a secret, I will trust you," I tell 'er 'alf-'eartedly.

We both 'ead up de stairs, dis time to Luna Nova's Attic, where I surround everything with a sound inhibiting spell, so no one will hear, not even Daryl, she'll be the first person to know besides Akko and Chariot, I 'ope you can trust Marianne, if I can even she'll be one more to 'elp us.
"I wasn't acting like someone in love, I was actually wanting to get along with my sister who doesn't know yet dat I'm her sister" I tell Mari.
"That's right I noticed, I think it's cute, now I've also noticed why you hide it so much and shit, it was wrong to ship you two, now that I know you're sisters everything gets sicker" She said putting 'er hand on 'er head and I was just stroking it to relieve it.
After the long history...
"Now I'm with my mum planning a way to make things quieter and reveal ourselves to Diana without being afraid of Daryl coming on to the three of us, she's a threat to us - I finish explaining and she was even crying.
"Hellene... That's terribly frightening, that's why you're so... Now it makes sense. Wow seriously, this woman should be arrested, I'll keep your secret, I can say that I have many of mine, but not to the point of being like yours - she said and I just shrug.
"Well, I am happy that I was able to win your trust for real, never tell anything to anyone for all that is best in this world - I say to her who then hugs me.
"You can leave that your secret will be guarded with affection, but hey, I want to be in this to catch the cursed one, not just anyone arrives like that and intimidates me like that, can I join you? - she asks and I nod.
"If you gain Professor Chariot's trust you can be useful, even more so against Daryl, the more people and the more chances we have to arrest her, it will be better, even more so since you live with me more, she might kidnap me - I tell her, who covers my mouth with her finger.
"Under no circumstances say that Hellene, this woman won't lay a finger on you, we're in this together, I won't let them hurt my friend - she said with her hand on my shoulder, although it would be cute if it was more than that.
POV Narrator:
Hellene is showing herself to be the new prodigy student of Luna Nova, but she clearly does not like this title so much that she is refusing to be seen as such, even more because there is a bigger threat that is hanging around McLaren, which is the appearance of Daryl and all the psychological terror that he has been doing with the girl, all to destabilize her and somehow lure her into some trap. In the midst of this, another ally joins the group, the Frenchwoman Marianne Leclerc, who until then thought that Diana was a girl that Hellene was into but was shocked with the truth.

Marianne Leclerc, one of the girls of the newly formed purple team, has a personality well centered on liking anime, besides being a somewhat clumsy girl in some moments, much for the lack of attention for ending up paying more attention in other things that she ends up wanting to do, being many of them playing RPG with her trio and friends.
