POV Narrator:
Sunday, 23 September 2019, Luna Nova
The first month of classes in the second year of Luna Nova was passing like a real rocket, already having some events and also suspicions that were clarifying for Diana, it was already the third week playing the table RPG that was becoming the most anticipated event by the girls, between the first and second year, besides that the behavior of Kagari changed a lot since the previous year, what before she was every week in detention, this time changed and a lot, she didn't take a scolding in any of these days that she was in Luna Nova. In the midst of this Diana is close to accomplishing one more realization regarding her origin, calling Akko for a conversation in the attic of Luna Nova.
POV Diana:
I went up with Akko in the attic, then we went tae the roof, where we used tae look at the sky together, on a Sunday day that dinnae have a lot of things tae do, I really need tae solve something, I'm going tae tell her about this suspicion of mine, which I think is pretty clear, she was getting a little bit traveled in her thoughts, then I decide tae show her a bag that I left Hellene's hair.
"What is this, Diana?" She asks.
"That's Hellene's hair, I'm going tomorrow after class tae a lab tae do a DNA test, I want tae know if my suspicion is real" I answer Kagari who opens a smile on her face.
"You think she is..." Said the Japanese woman and I nod my head in agreement.
"It's very suspicious and strange the way she acts with me, besides that she calls me sis all the time, I think she can't even hide it properly, but I dinnae know, I want tae be sure, she accepted very well tae give her hair tae do the test" I explain more clearly, I hope it's really real, her mother is a wonderful person.
"I can imagine Diana, it would be really nice if she was your sister, I love Hellene's way, she's a fun and nice girl, I even admit that in appearance she reminds me very vaguely of you, so I can see that, but why do you want to tell me this so badly?" I hold her hand, I want tae pass on the genuine feelings.
"Because I trust ye Akko, I want tae tell ye something like that tae bring ye closer together, I'm sorry fae what I ended up ignoring ye for all the holidays, I was in a heavy depression over the Kimberly Hunter events, I should have opened up tae ye..." On the spot Akko puts her finger over my mouth.
"You don't need it, you know that... I totally understand you wanting to isolate yourself, this was good for you to have some time to reflect, look I wish you all the best of luck Diana, I'm sure you'll get a result and it won't be Daryl who will stop you" she said making me smile as always.
"When the result comes in I want ye tae be the first tae know, let's find out together"
"I feel even honoured Diana, how do you think you will act if the result is positive?" asks the Japanese woman and I just take a deep breath.
"I will first give my sister a huge hug, I will talk tae her, then go tae our mother's house and finally be able tae see her and make things clear fae good... I'm honestly nae too sure... If it's negative, I just keep acting like nothing happened, anyway, I think it's better tae save it, maybe Daryl will try tae interrupt like last time, if she acted that way it's because she knows something" I tell Akko and then I'm leaving the roof tae nae take any risks.
We left and from there, we walked through the corridors, I even wanted tae kiss Kagari, but I dinnae even act, I got a lock in my head, this Hellene issue moves me a lot, we went tae my team's room, where entering there we could see Barbara and Annabel, kind of talking to each other while looking at a notebook.
"Oh hello Diana, hello Akko" Parker said.
"Hi girls" Akko waves to both of them.
"What are they doing?" I ask them both.
"We're reading some Night Fall fanfics that Barb wrote, kind of rereading them actually, I already knew a lot of them and they're wonderful, some even comical, wanna see?" Annabel said and we just shook our heads in denial.
"We're going tae play fae a while now, I want tae play a few games with Akko" I say tae the girls who continue reading.
"Ahhhhhh, what are we going to play today Diana?" asks the Japanese girl.
"Ye can choose tae play whatever ye want Akko" I reply with a smile on my face.
We went tae the bedroom, it's good tae see her excited like that, she was soon choosing the Super Nintendo cartridges, putting a Super Mario All Stars tae play, giving a controller tae me and another tae her, we sat on my bed, and we stared at my television. I missed moments like that, spending time with Akko and having fun, she always brings me a comfort that I dinnae even know how tae describe, after sae long I never imagined that ever in my life I would be sae happy with someone like Akko, it's liberating, I can't wait fae one day we'll live together in the Cavendish house, now rebuilt and having a family.
In the middle of the Arcturus forest, Merrill observed everything, passing the information to Daryl...
POV Daryl:
This place sucks, I'm going crazy staying here, I want to be able to go into action soon, but I have to be thorough, even more so with that bitch Agent Morris on my tail, ahhh, to think that having power is so costly, but I know it will be worth it in the end, whoever is paying me for this is paying me very well, I just need a little more and I'm going to destabilize Diana.
"Mum, Diana is going to do a DNA test, she will find out that Hellene is her sister and consequently Aunt Laura" said Merrill who was slapped in the face.
"Never call that bitch auntie, you hear me? She ain't got nothing close to you, now you told me she's gonna get a DNA test right? That's very good... Very good indeed" I say with a smile on my face.
"How is that good? Diana's going to find out everything" said the implicit one.
"Next, I already have a strand of your hair here, I will use it to fool Diana, since both of you still have bruised backs and I don't trust your efficiency, I will solve this myself, I will hide in the night and exchange the strands of hair for yours, Diana will not suspect and the test will be negative" I say with a huge smile on my face.
"Are you sure about that mum?" Maril said.
"I want her to suffer, I want Diana to become more and more emotionally destroyed, in the meantime we continue to provoke, we will launch a real psychological torture until she gives in mentally, we have to get the leadership of the Cavendish family at any cost" I say with a huge smile on my face.
"And then what? I've been thinking here and even if you are the leader of the family, Agent Morris will still be on your tail, she won't give up until she sees you arrested" Merrill said and I don't care much for that.

Hours go by that day, until night comes falling, right at dawn, when Diana was sleeping after watching a lot, it's time for Daryl to act...
The two brats signal that I can go to Diana's room, it's all clear by the looks of it, which I come out of hiding, kind of wearing a disguise as well, I thank Luna Nova for not having any modern technology being adopted, so I can break in without worrying about cameras or having to hack anything.
"Good luck mum" Maril said while the other as always quiet, how could I have made a mistake to have such a daughter.
I arrive on the outskirts of Luna Nova, where I go to observe some of the workers sort of standing guard, they seem to be on the most on the lookout for some presence of a witch breaking curfew, I quickly use a metamorphosis spell, flying in owl form to the window of the room where Diana is staying.
"There's an owl around here" said one of the minotaurs, pointing the lantern at me until I leaned against the window.
"What a beautiful owl, we have to call the others to see her" Said another and now they are really wanting to slow me down, I will have to pretend to be an owl, damn it.
One of the minotaurs stays there looking at me, luckily they don't have any magic detector, they were just admiring me in the owl form, impressed by my beauty, the only thing missing is to take pictures, I don't believe they'll be bothered with that, but soon another owl passes by and they are admiring it because it's lower, I take the chance to open the window of its room, now the attention is not directed to me anymore, I can be free.
Wonderful, Diana is sleeping in the deepest sleep, I have to be very sneaky, gee, what an imbecile, she left the little bags with the hair strands right on the table, she hardly waits, to have a big surprise, in six weeks the girl will be all broken, now leave Merrill's hair here and take Diana's hair with me, I then go to the window, seeing her kind of moving, I almost froze.
I look out the window and see the light signs my daughters sent, now it's time to say goodbye for now, little does she know something big is coming.
I jump out the window in the shape of an owl, while using my magic to close the window of the owl itself, I am noticed by the workers of the school, but they think I am just the same owl, until I re-enter the forest and return to the hiding place, mission accomplished.
"You are welcome" said my failing daughter.
"What? What do you mean?" I ask her.
"I was the one who distracted the minotaurs so you could come in and do this, aren't you going to thank me for my help?" What prepotency of this girl, I should slap her.
"You did not do more than your duty, now I think you two should think of a way to terrorize Diana and Hellene, we have to abort Hellene's kidnapping, she is already getting smarter, and this can give an even greater certainty to Diana, we have to play their game a little" I tell them both with a smile on my face.
In the morning...
POV Diana:
I wake up, I see that the hair samples are still around, I purposely left them on the table, only fae Daryl tae come and destroy them, confident that this is more of a confirmation, but it looks like she hasn't even shown up, sae I'll have a better result, I look at the window even smiling.
"Good morning Luna Nova!" I tell everyone at the window, today I am even a little more radiant.
I'm going tae do my basic hygiene, change, put everything in a bag and get my broom, starting this morning with all the style, I'm going tae fly to the outside of Luna Nova, taking the Ley line, then I'm going tae go on a little trip, leaving Glastobury and going to Bristol, I heard that there is the closest lab where they do these things.
Just doing these things already makes me feel a lot better, it seems like everything is going to go positive, my mum is going tae be nae only someone wonderful that I admire, but I'm going tae have two very nice sisters, that's really an amazing thing tae think about.
Diana soon arrives at the Bristol lab...
I wait fae my password, luckily today it was very empty and I'm immediately called, I go tae the counter, hand over my documents and the two samples, my hair and the hair of my supposed sister.
"Good morning Madam, what do you want?" asks the lady.
"I came to do a DNA test, I want to know if the person is my sister," I said to the lassie.
"Alright, it'll be £99, it's just a DNA test with this relative right? It will take six weeks to complete Mrs Diana Cavendish" Said the lassie and I nodded in agreement, then handing over two £50 notes and being handed over with change for a pound.
I was then filling in the registration data, where she asked fae my mobile phone number and also my identity, everything in conformity, luckily, this identity that Rose gave me is really working, but I want tae soon be able tae find out the real one, when I finish registering everything, I thank the girl and leave.
"Finally now it's just a matter of time" I say taking a deep breath.
I'm going tae Luna Nova now, I can't delay today's class, I can't wait tae see what's going tae happen, I'm confident that she is really my sister, she is quite cute even, her face resembles both me and my mother Bern, even her manner is a bit similar, I dinnae know why, but Hellene is a sweet and affectionate person, she often puts her poor little head down.
A while later Diana arrives at Luna Nova and classes are going on as normal, by then the gossip of the new prodigy had dropped quite a bit, as had Cavendish's popularity that until then was surrounded by everyone, now she was more alone...

"Yes, I went there in the morning, now I just have tae wait about six weeks" I say excitedly.
"Hey Cavendish, you and the new prodigy can't stop staring at each other, it's even weird that Akko doesn't give a shit either, are you guys by any chance thinking of having a treesome" Said O'Neill getting in the middle just because I was just seeing my supposed sister.
"It's nothing like that, ye'll know what it's all about one day" I say just to escape a little.
"I just think you guys are looking for a threesome, but then I don't judge, the new girl is cute, by the way it's been a while since we've had a threesome, you guys are really into that whole RPG nerd stuff" she said teasing us.
"Oh it's too cool Amanda, you have no idea, we play playing some characters and make some very nice adventures, I'm soon a vampire and Diana too, we are in a very different part, the game started all different, until the night fell and we became night creatures, it's much cooler now, having to face hunters, or other creatures, I'm getting stronger and stronger with Yoko" She said all excited and it's good to see Akko like that, really the RPG games are very good.
"Bleh, nerd stuff, I'm not close to that, it even impresses me that the prodigy with the physique and also with the magic she has is exactly one of the nerds, if she had been in my school when she was younger, nobody would mess with any nerd, she is short but she compensates with the size of those arms" O'Neill said, I tease this time.

"Sure, who doesn't, she can lift you up, but seriously, I'm not getting in the middle of it, Hannah will hear that and..." At the time all I see is England pulling O'Neill's ear and I was just laughing.
"And what Amanda O'Neill? You'd better behave yourself girl" she said and we just laughed, these two since they started dating have been the funniest thing around here, really nice tae see O'Neill being told off.
I go tae finish eating, then I see Hellene waving tae me from far away, I wave back with a huge smile on my face, I dinnae know why sae much comfort passes me by this girl, then I get up and I think I go tae my room tae study a little, good that now I dinnae need tae do a whole investigation, I just need tae wait with patience, the whole investigating thing wore me out, but when I get tae the room a shiver goes up me, the surroundings are getting with a strong fog, Daryl, it can only be her.
"Daryl, I know it's ye" I say looking back and seeing her sitting on the sofa with her legs crossed.
"Oh you're getting clever aren't you? What a thing, and then it seems you finally found out about my ploy to trick you, ohhh a shame for Kimberly Hunter, ended up in a black bag, really a shame" She said and I was taken by surprise, I won't have time tae get my mobile phone and record anything she says.
"Ye bastard, can't ye ever be satisfied? Look what ye did tae me? Why lie sae much? Why did ye do that?" I tell her I'm just laughing.
"Ahhh how I love it when they're like this, but anyway, it's better this way, I want to see you begging, I want to see you destroyed, until you give up the leadership of the family to me, we can seal a pact now Diana, I'll tell you honestly who your mother is, I'll take what I want and we'll call it even, what do you think? I know everything Diana" she said and I just raised my middle finger.
"And who am I tae trust ye, ye killed my mother, ye lied tae me creating a fake mother and on top of that ye burnt down our house" I tell her angrily.
"Ah that's one more reason, you see? You are not the leader of anything, just a huge empty lot, you can pass me the leadership and I will pay with the value of the land, what do you think? By the way, I know it was a mistake for me to do what I did against your mother, but it was a moment of power, I want to negotiate gently, let's get what we want the most, I promise I'll leave you all alone"
"What makes me trust ye, Daryl? I'm nae stupid, even if ye really comply, it's an offer nae worth it, I'll preserve the Cavendish and there's nae way ye can take it from me, only if ye kill me, but ye won't do that, ye could never lead the family if ye did that, Beatrix would never accept it" I tell her and she gets up and goes towards the window, still with the room all full of fog, how she likes tae make everything foggy.
"I expected that, well I'll leave before your friends show up, but if you want to change your mind I'll show up sometime, but think about it Diana, this could be something that will change your life, you, Akko, your other family, living a better life than being a Cavendish, girl you have no idea how much better the family that's waiting for you is than the Cavendish ones ever were, let go of your past, you'll feel much better by their side, I'm even thinking for your best" she said.
"Get out of here!" I shout at her who keeps leaving as she goes off laughing and flying cunt.
I will nae trust and never trust this witch, she can make whatever offer she wants, a million pounds, a billion pounds, a trillion pounds, I have lived what was luxury and high society, an empty life that only makes ye a label of the others that force ye tae be, I am loving the simpler life, because I have something tae fight fae, I have a meaning, I am nae fae looks.
Nothing can buy the legacy of the Cavendish family, I received the blessing of Beatrix and I will
nae give up my position as leader for anything, I hope that one day I can rebuild everything, but in a new way, as if a revolution was going to happen.
POV Daryl:
Ahhh this is very good, to be able to scare Diana, to see her reaction of fear, she can't even process anything right, I'm arriving at the hiding place even jumping with happiness, where I'm seeing my daughters half recovering from the injuries I left on them.
"How fast? I thought you would make more" Merrill said.
"Ah I don't need to, I just wanted to give a nudge to Diana, this time being a little bit gentler and speaking in her language, but it seems that the girl is strong, a pity, she shouldn't have Laura's or Bernadette's genes, both of them made her stubborn, it's impossible to get a negotiation, but at least I'll gain more of it little by little, now we have to think about terrorizing her a little more, I took the opportunity to get this" I say showing them a dream catcher.

She left, and then, a bit terrified, I go tae look at some of the books, I leaf through the pages, I look at the fake photo with the montage made on top, I even thought of something here, but I think it's better nae, I dinnae want tae expose my mother that way, but let me see if there is anything in the image searcher.
"Diana you are great" I say tae myself.
I'm trying tae filter, but nothing of the photo, I see random family photos, but nothing of the family photo with my mother, I see she hid it very well, by the way it's very good tae use the internet borrowed from Hellene, she really saved a lot of things here, I can communicate calmly, without depending on the intranet of Luna Nova and still have access tae internet, I even think of using a restoration spell, but the photo remains the same.
"It was tae be expected" I say half frustrated.
I was a bit sad, but I kept the photo, at least now I can be sure, soon the DNA test will confirm everything, this drama of almost a year will come tae an end, I'm sure, soon I hear the lassies arriving in the room, I was just studying and they wave to me.
"Hey Diana, why the face in the books? You practically already know everything" Barb said.

"Amanda is immature, I can't believe she's still hitting on Hellene, I'm on her side listening to this, luckily McLaren only got a little uncomfortable and Akko showed up, this girl will end up like her parents... I sometimes wonder whether or not I should date someone as immature as her"
"Ah, it was just Amanda's little joke, she didn't mean any harm, so much that she redeemed herself from Hellene afterwards, the two of them were very calm, only Hannah is still very angry, but with good reason" Barbara said.

I grab the popcorn, let it pop tae make a real feast between me and the popcorn girls, while the girls went tae choose something on Netflix, now with Hellene's internet we can watch better than what we had downloaded on TV, it really helped a lot.
POV Narrator:
Diana has taken a huge step around her investigation, getting closer and closer to being able to find out who her mother is going to be, but again Daryl is using his intelligence for yet another plan that will come as a bombshell on Cavendish once the result comes in, which will be real chaos in six weeks time, as well as keeping disrupting the girl to achieve his goals.
