Saturday, 3 November 2018, Luna Nova
The Samhaim festival was over, winter was getting closer in Luna Nova, but a tension was coming, it had been days without Daryl disturbing both Hellen and Diana. This gave Diana enough time to get the result of her DNA test, which will still have an unpleasant surprise for her.
POV Diana:
I wake up today, the result of the DNA test arrived yesterday, but since it was a school day I dinnae have time, luckily I can pick it up today, I'm anxious tae see what's going tae happen, I get out of bed, I walk tae my bathroom, where I change myself looking in the mirror, excited and anxious, I even imagine what's going tae happen next... I finish my personal hygiene, go tae my room, get my clothes, change, I'm still wearing my uniform because of the dress code here, I take a last look at the mirror, I look at myself.
"Diana, today is the day you find out the truth" I say alone, take a deep breath and go with my broom in hand and a bag with my documents, mobile phone and money.
I leave the room through the window, I think Hannah and Barbara must still be sleeping at this time, it's still 8 o'clock in the morning and today is going tae be a very eventful day fae me, I see a beautiful morning, a little cold, the trees down there are all brown, with the leaves about tae fall, today is a beautiful autumn day, ahhhhh, how I love this cold wind hitting me.

POV Merrill:
And the way I'm tired of this shit from you too mum, you don't ask for waiting, now I'll be the one to cause with you, I just really need to come up with an excuse to get rid of all this,
Honestly I'd rather be arrested and stay in jail, where there at least I'm freer than in the hands of my own mother, I just need to come up with a good excuse and I know how, an appearance like a surprise attack, can change everything.
"Tomorrow we will disturb her even more, then, when she is all depressed in her room, we will show up and torture her a little"
"Look who would have thought the brat has a good idea" Said my mum and I'm just going to play her.

She is barely waiting for her to see what I am in mind and this will put an end to it all once and for all, I am full, I am tired, I don't want to take orders from this woman anymore, I am getting more and more destroyed every day because of this, I just want to be free at last.
In a few minutes Diana soon arrives at Luna Nova...
POV Diana:
I'm excited, this envelope will have sae much stuff, I land in Luna Nova, I go straight tae the corridor where is the red team's room where I go knocking on the door, I'm really anxious, what the hell, I have tae hold my shaking, breathe Diana Cavendish, take it easy, it will pass.
Akko is the one who answers right away, she was wearing her usual pajamas, a white t-shirt and red shorts, I stare at her looking like she was all bouncy and excited, while the poor thing was still a bit sleepy.
"Diana?" She said still rubbing her eyes and yawning.
"Akko I got the results, get changed quickly and let's go tae the attic and see together" I say tae her who quickly opens her eyes.
"The results? You mean you already know?" she said excitedly.
"I will know yet, I want tae find out with ye, go there and I'll wait fae ye here" I tell her who then closes the door.
I stare at that wooden door with the number 14 all excited, I can't wait tae see her coming out of there and then walk tae the attic, ahhhhhhh, it's become our little talking place, by the nine witches, that's all I can think about, I swear I better control myself, I'm looking like Akko this way.
A few minutes later...
Akko comes out of the room, she looks at me with the biggest smile on her face, we give a very tight hug between the two of us, which signals that we are getting close tae finding out the truth, ahhhh, how wonderful, I can't wait fae that.
"Looks like someone woke up more excited than me" Akko said.
"Akko, it's my mother, the truth is in here, I can know everything from today" I tell her in a slightly more serious tone.
"I know that Diana, come on, I want to see it too, seriously it even shocks me that you call me on it" She said and I just trust this lassie a lot.
We walk together through Luna Nova, in the middle of the corridors, still half empty fae being morning and what a thing, I haven't even had breakfast yet, I'm a little hungry, but the biggest hunger is fae real, going up floor by floor, the stairs seemed tae take forever, but it was a climb tae know what was the truth, I've been waiting fae this moment fae years, it will be the big change in all my life.
We arrive at the attic going up the stairs, first Akko, then me, being helped in the last step, where we stay there until a little squeezed in the middle of several boxes, we sit in the old chairs, one facing the other, with some boxes being used as a table, where I put the paper in the middle.
"This is it" I say taking a deep breath.
"As for the drama, Diana, just open it" said Kagari, taking the envelope until I patted her hand.
"Wait a minute Akko, it's nae like that, we have tae take it easy" I tell her who rolls her eyes and even inflates her cheeks.
"Come on Diana, how much drama for an envelope" she said.

I'm opening the top part, pulling the papers out and seeing how the letters are written and when I notice... It can't be, I froze, looking at that made me really devastated, it seems that the world fell on me, the leaves even fall from my hand, the tears start tae come.
"Diana?" Said Akko who was getting worried.
"Na, na, na, na! Nae!" I say putting my hand on the side of my head, I dinnae want tae accept this result, it's nae true, it can't be real.
"Diana... Diana..." Said the Japanese woman who went tae try tae caress me, I only collapsed in tears, I can't believe that it really happened, after trying sae hard, the result... It ended in false, in false, it was nae true.

"Wow Diana, I'm going to trust to the end that it might be true, you went with a hair sample, never doubt Daryl, she has quietly entered your room several times, so how can it not be a possibility that she used her own hair or her cousins?" She said, and I even wanted to think about it, but I'm too collapsed.
"I just dinnae want tae think about it anymore, unfortunately that's the truth... I'm nae Hellene's sister"
I remain in the embrace with Akko, crying what I can, in that dusty attic, with the leaves from the test results on top of her, which I then look at those leaves, decide tae get up, take her hand, use a flame spell, which erases all the leaves, it will be something that will stay just between me and Akko.
"Diana..." Said the Japanese woman.
"Let's keep this just between us, I know it's hard, but nae one can know that I tried tae find out that Hellene is my sister... Let's just forget about it, sae the gossip dinnae spread in Luna Nova and become another reason fae the whole school tae hate me.
"All right Diana... I won't tell you anything, I know that people here are very cruel to you, they were already like that with me, but come on, this place can make you a bit mad, it's dusty here, I don't want to see you sick" she said worried about me.
"Let me go alone" I tell her coming down from the attic, now my world is over, there is nae turning back.
Laura McLaren was never my mother, it was all a farce really, someone I had high suspicions about, someone I could even feel familiar with, someone who wrote down my game ideas and made them in my honour, it was something so magical... I'll still have memories of it, but now with her being...
Just a game developer I admired a lot, I guess I got too attached tae someone I've never even seen in person, I guess that just creates an extra envy with the new prodigy. Ye have an amazing mother, Hellene.
POV Akko:
Diana went to her room, I thought it was better to let her go alone, it's her moment, but this is all a lie, I'm sure that Daryl set something up, I'm sorry Diana, but the only person who will know about this is the most important one...
Your sister has to know that there was a farce, so we can prevent it from happening again, the way she spoke we can really see that they are sisters, the way is the same, even the pictures she showed me.

I'm sure she's already awake, knowing Hellene I know she usually wakes up early to train, well anyway I'll wait for her here, I can't believe Daryl could have been capable of such a farce... Seeing Diana like this really breaks me down.

If this woman was able to falsify a DNA test it already shows that she can do something worse... Poor Diana... "No Hellen, it's something else, Diana was fooled by Daryl, the DNA test was negative, the damned girl set something up" I say the same one that even changes from a downcast expression to a more angry one.

"I don't doubt it at all, that's why we have to find a way, you have to go with Diana to do a second test, this time with you showing your face with Diana, it will be impossible to manipulate the lab, since the WCI is watching everything" I told myself.

I go through the portal, enter in Chum's shop, I go to the refrigerators, where they have the Hagen Dazs ice cream pots, I know she loves the chocolate one, I also buy some Hersheys bars, pringles and some caramels.

"Oh Diana..." I even say it with pity, her little face like that kills me.
I sit down beside the sofa, she takes the pot of ice cream, starts to eat, passing some caramel and also chocolate bars, I take some pringles, open the pot, I start to eat, she was watching a Yuri anime I think, I've never seen this one, it looks interesting, I noticed the girls kissing, I never thought of seeing Diana like that watching anime.
"Do you want one?" I offer a small potato that I give her in her mouth that gets all fluffy, she really got quite fragile with it.
"Thank ye Akko... I dinnae even know what I would do without ye" she said after eating her potato.
"You would do amazing things too, I know you are the best witch here, look we just have to move on, Hellene might not be your sister or she might be a set up by Daryl, we have to keep our minds a bit with a north" I tell Cavendish.
"I know, in the end it would be wonderful even if Hellene was my sister, but I've been thinking here? The fertility stone works, I dinnae doubt it, because the book was very descriptive of what I read, but what worries me is if this whole story isn't fake, ye know? What if my mother and Laura really had a romance? But each one had to... Ye know" she said, and I can't believe she thinks that.

"Nothing, I was sleeping, I put the samples on a table, I would know if they had moved, and another Daryl would nae risk moving, she knows she could sign something" Said the stubborn Cavendish.
"For all that it seems to me that she took the time for exactly that opportunity, she's smart Diana, well anyway, I'm sure, I still think you and Hellene are biological sisters, the two of you share many traits, not only appearance, even behavior, the girl is stubborn just like you" I say this until she put a spoonful of ice cream in my mouth.
"Dinnae call me stubborn when ye are the queen of stubbornness Kagari" She said even laughing a little, already I felt a chill in my brain.
Then I feel her coming closer, we are getting closer to each other, half laughing and our faces are getting closer to each other, I can't believe that I am coming for this.
"I know ye want tae" she said.
"I want the tastiest thing that an ice cream" I say being silly.
She laughed a little, we touched our foreheads, which ended up following with a seal of lips, this being right at the time that the anime characters also kissed, what a gay thing, but that I loved every second living the moment, Diana's soft lips sealing with mine.

POV Narrator:
And the revelation that was false came, leaving Diana discredited, something that she had put so much faith that could be real, but that actually turned out to be false, but everything was just a big trap of Daryl to have control over Diana and still cause more psychological terror to his niece. Only that she herself is not yet aware that one of the daughters is intending to change everything, since she was full of all this, she can not bear to go through the worst at the hands of her mother.
