POV Narrator:
Friday, 15 June 2019, Arcturus
Valentine's Day was the beginning of a love that was kind of sudden, but it was being built throughout this period between Diana and Akko that decided to kick-start their relationship, breaking all possible barriers and also even beating the front with the authorities of Luna Nova that were quite against it, and imposing the rules, but the couple did not care and broke anyway.
The countdown to Brooke's search was starting, and Daryl was preparing the last torture to convince Diana to give in to the Cavendish family leadership, which would involve pulling out all of Brooke's fingernails and
sending them in a package to the Scottish woman. Only Hunter was getting sick of it, and so was Mirage, who couldn't take it anymore.
POV Mirage:
I woke up early in the morning, I'm not going to waste my time here, look how empty the room is without Brooke, even worse that she is in the hands of that damned witch who is torturing her, but if nobody finds her, I will find her myself, I will walk all over Arcturus to where my Brooke is, I'm already with my clothes changed and I see Jeanne beside me.
"You really won't go back, will you? I won't try to convince you otherwise, but please come back well, I hope you make it and don't stop trusting the search, Daryl will soon be found" Jeanne said.
"I want to trust the search, but I don't want to wait who knows how long until Daryl comes with a far worse torture" I tell her and I go to the window with broom in hand, jump out of the window and look at Jeanne.
"Good luck Mirage" she said.
I'll start flying, the more towards the dense forest, I take my wand in hand and land inside it, I'll start walking around here, I'll find this place, this hiding place and Daryl will pay, she won't expect my presence there, I'll make her pay dearly for all this, my Brooke doesn't deserve to go through this.
In Daryl's captivity, Cavendish was already preparing by taking a pair of nail pliers and going totorture Brooke, but this one was prepared, she left everything ready for the escape the night before,including staying up all night waiting in a hiding place in a point that the camera will not notice untilthe escape...
POV Brooke:
Now is the time, let's see when Daryl will show his face around here, I left some pillows and stuffing to pretend it's me and activated the bed's defense mode, she'll activate a trap as soon as she pulls the blanket, I'll run as much as I can.
I hear footsteps, she had been walking, I even got a mannequin to pretend very well that it's me lying down, but hardly wait Daryl for what's to come. She opens the door, closes the door and goes walking to the bed, I press the button to open the door on the calculator that I programmed, still without making any noise, I start to sneak to her and in that I start to look outside, taking some of the disguise off, I even hide in a wall to look at Daryl.
"Good morning Brooke, are you ready to cut your nails?" she said walking towards my bed.
And since I'm ready, she got very close to the bed now it's my turn, I press the button and whatever happens inside I have no more control, now let's go, I start walking through the corridors, I see how it's a very strange factory, a bit abandoned around it, I'm even afraid of having some trap here, I start walking with my arms kind of collected.
"Free at last! Now suffer Daryl!" I say all excited and start running.
I may be without energy, but I'll run away from here, I just need to find the exit, get out of this place and give an end to Daryl once and for all, this is for you mum, I'll make sure to avenge the lady, in the middle of the corridor I see a robot passing and I hide myself in a corridor, it passes and I see that it was just a hoover, so with that I'll just run.
POV Daryl:
Now it's time to shoot for Diana, the boy is stubborn, but let's see if when I pull out his fingernails, this little bastard will have the same balls, I'll make him suffer a lot, one nail at a time, it will be 10, I approach his bed, I even notice a light from behind, but it doesn't seem like anything, I think this door was just left wide open.
"Come on, stinky, wake up!" I say reaching over to pull the blanket over him.
When I finally pull, it's a mannequin, I'm shocked, it must have escaped from here without me looking, I hear some mechanism sound, the mattress of the bed rises and a pipe appears, coming out firing some things in my direction, only I protect what gives in time with a shield of magic, even so I'm left with some holes in my arm, besides others that caught me grazing, I shoot them and notice that they were spears that were made with the rest of the chain, that's why it got smaller.
"Damn you! Don't think you're going to stay like this!" I say furiously and I don't hear him around.
I go running to the door, but I end up feeling a shock in my hand, it was expected, I should have locked it, so the door wouldn't be like this, but what the hell, I turn into a bird and go flying towards the exit, where I then turn into a snake and I don't realize, there's a net in front of me, when I touch it I end up all electrocuted.
"Ahhhhhhhhh! Damn him! He even thought about it, I have to get out of here" I feel some things hitting my back, it almost hit my head, I'm all full of pain.
I heal myself and take out the back, again projectile spears made out of the material of the... I almost get decapitated on that one, I duck, and a thorn-filled club almost gets me, slamming it all the way through the door, and I could see it was going to go right through my neck if I didn't duck, this bastard planned the whole thing, damn it.
"Try to escape kid, you'll never get out of here!" I say in the middle of the cell.
POV Brooke:
She hit right where I wanted, now I'm going to activate all the defences I've set up, the calculator warned here that she tried to escape through the door and got shocked, now it's time for fun, I press all the buttons and throw the calculator on the floor, I don't need it anymore, all I have to do is escape from here, she didn't expect that.
"Now suffer for everything you did to me and my mother" I say looking down the hall, which was already another one.
I keep walking and try to find an exit, but this here seems a maze, I start to find a place, it was a central room, in it had a map of the factory, how wonderful, besides a bed and also food, I go in desperation I grab all the food from Daryl, I start to eat some things, I can't believe she took all the good and the best while feeding me horribly, not to mention the estrogen, she has several vials here, I grab the stuff, I grab the map on the wall, it's a small map, besides grabbing an iron bar nearby, I'm hitting those monitors hard, so I can destroy what she has to watch me if she comes back here, I take advantage and also grab the bar.
"Now I'm going to run for my freedom! Yes! I will be a free witch, it will be wonderful" I say celebrating and even drinking soda for the moment, it was a long time since I felt such a delicious coke in my mouth.
I then get out of there and go running, now with the map in hand it will be quiet, I go down the stairs, I notice that in reality it is not so, I see that the corridor is empty but I feel that there is something here, I use the little bit of magic I have, I go making myself float, walking carefully in each step around here I am afraid, the platforms are saving me, it is strangely empty, by the map now just go left.
"Wonderful I am managing to escape" I say excitedly.
POV Daryl:
Damn it! He activated even more defenses, I'm getting shot more times by the projectiles she made, I could never notice, she hid everything so I wouldn't notice, it was a moment of genius this, this kid is smarter than it looks, he set traps here and I'm going to have to survive this or I'm going to end up being one more dead.
"You bastard! Do you think you can really run away?" I say furiously.
I've been dodging the various attempts to fire projectiles at me, until I created a very thick layer of magic barrier on my head, and I've been feeling some shots catching me by inches and others full on, but since it's
in my arm I don't care much, even if I catch them I shoot and heal myself afterwards, just not to make myself bleed to death.
"You were clever, but I doubt you'll be able to escape anyway" I say looking at the door.
It's time to play seriously then, let's stop fooling around, I invoke Ouroboros, with that the giant snake crosses the door with ease knocking it down and I'm leaving until I hit my hands, ready, now I'm walking slowly, just go to the security room and observe where she is, Ouroboros, will give me plenty of temop, he won't escape in time, sure he went towards the exit.
I arrive at the computer room, I have a discovery nothing pleasant, he broke everything, he came here first, it is a sign that he took some of the most stupid ways to the exit, he even took the map.
"Time to go back to where you should be stinking" I say this knocking on the table.

On the way I won't find him, that was to be expected, I imagined he would be taking an alternative way not to meet, but there's still a chance of a head on collision, besides I can still wait at the only exit.
"You can come boy I'm ready for whatever you come to do"
POV Brooke:
If she thinks I can try to escape through the main door, she's wrong, I'll go through one of the walls, it's even on the other side so I can escape safely, luckily I managed to grab a C4 that was in Croix's room, she really didn't expect something like this, I'll manage to open the biggest hole and escape in one go.
"I'd better shut up if she survives and gets out of my cell" I tell myself.
I go in the totally opposite direction, where on the map the walls also lead to the outside, that's what I need, this time there's no way I can be caught, I reach the room, as incredible as it seems there was no trap here, I plant the C4 and walk to the outside with the wire in my hand, I go until I get enough distance, I even lean against the door.
"Now things are going to fly" I say excitedly.
I press the detonator, it's the first time using one of these and I hear the biggest bang, I thought it would be lower, this time there's no way Daryl won't hear, but even so I go walking to the outside, I see the dense forest, that's wonderful, but I'm still not totally expecting to find Daryl, I try to hide myself among some bushes, I get some smoke bombs and throw them in the hole and also towards the forest that is already full of fog and light a flare, so the heat can distract her, Daryl will activate a heat vision.

POV Daryl:
I hear an explosion coming from the other side, quickly I step outside, I go on Ouroboros, I decide to get to where he blew up a stolen C4 and I see he has some smoke bombs, he was smart but Ouroboros has heat vision and goes after him, but in the end they were flares, he knew he could have something like that.
"Damn you! Okay, you ran away this time, I'll let you run away, but that's only because I have a plan in mind, a much bigger one, I'm not going to waste time with this stench and run the risk of being caught, you've won now, but you can't win them all"
I even use magic to repair the walls, sure enough they'll come back, I have a surprise for them, as soon as they arrive, I'll start walking the corridors, I'll go underground, where there's the room I want to go to, I'll walk through everything still not ready, Brooke may have broken one of the security cameras on the way and prevented me from watching it, but now I'll fix it.

POV Mirage:
I can't see anything but bushes and trees, everything is so the same, this forest even seems to be making me walk in circles, but nothing, I even thought I was walking from one side to the other, but the string line I put shows the opposite, I have to find it.
"Brooke!" I'm calling her.
I keep on without an answer, but I keep on walking and calling her name, who knows maybe she'll answer, even if it's useless, she must be in that evil factory being held hostage, I keep on walking a little more and
the first string ends, I tie another spool, I keep on walking through the forest still trying to find something and I even make a different and more curved path, just not to give the same, it just seems the opposite, but what the hell.
"Brooke! Brooke!" I keep trying to call her, even though it's useless, I have hope that deep down she will answer me.
Walking a little further the reel of string ends again, what the hell, I'm not giving up yet, walking through the green corridors of dense forest, I don't get lost and I won't stay here waiting either, I bought almost 20 km of string for one reason only and that is Brooke.
"Brooke! Brooke! Brooke! Please be around, yell or something just so I can find your cell and get you out of here" I say half hopeful,
Who am I kidding, it's already been 3km of string and nothing, I'll still find my Brooke no matter what it takes, this Daryl won't find the hideout, I did something that no one thought of doing with these strings, so it would be much easier to find things heh, I don't know how they didn't think of this idea before, by the nine witches, I swear I'll find this hideout soon and I'll end it all.
"Brooke! I will find you! I love you Brooke!" I shout it for all the forest to hear, when I see her in the background, with torn trousers, barefoot and looking at me.
"Mirage!" she shouts, heading in my direction.
I go running to her crying, she comes running to me, we meet in a hug, then I end up bending a little more and I start to seal my lips with hers and we start kissing and a lot, hmmmmmm, I never expected this, until we separate and I remember that me and Brooke are only friends, but the emotion of the rescue was strong.
"Brooke! Sorry, I was too emotional for that, I caught you in the fragility" I tell her who just smiles and then nuzzles her nose against mine.
"Well I loved it, it was wonderful to meet you, but come on, Daryl might end up finding us" Brooke said to me.
Me and her are following the way I did from Barbante, I'm walking with her even holding hands, so we don't get lost, I can't wait to arrive soon in Luna Nova with this news, I'm going to love it, finally Brooke is here, she's so cute, it's so good to see her like this, finally with me and saved, she's a bit thin, but nothing that a little bit of affection can't give her a good loving care.
"I can't believe I found you Brooke, where were you and how did you get away?" I ask her.
"It's a long story, but I'll tell you soon, the most important thing is that we go back to the hideout with everything, Daryl is still alive from my traps, she'll try to escape when she finds out that I managed to escape for good, we have to try what we can" Brooke said to me.
"Whatever happened or what you did was indeed a great deal of bravery and courage for your act, it only makes me admire you even more" I tell her and she gets all smiles on her face.
"She was dumb enough to give me chances to escape unknowingly, I planned everything meticulously to articulate the best revenge, distract her as long as possible or even by some means manage to defeat her" She said and I am getting delighted indeed.
We go together walking in the middle of the forest and it's even quiet, from here it's just to arrive in Luna Nova, I can even see her, we even decide to go by another path off the string so as not to get too tired, better... I take my wand, I make the broom go back to normal.

"I think I deserve a nice bath don't you?" said Brooke, running her finger along my neck and chin and I just went along with it.
"Yes you do Brookie" I say all affectionately.
After a very quick shower and caressing, both go running to the room of Professor Chariot, whereLaura is.
POV Brooke:
I ran away from there, but I'm coming back and with a whole troop, we're going to take this damn thing down once and for all, I'm sure, now Daryl won't escape, we enter in teacher Chariot's room, being attended by Mrs. McLaren, there she even offers me a blanket and sits me down on one of the sofas, bringing food for me, all cute, I didn't expect this.
"Good thing you escaped, but 'ow did you do it Brooke?" she asks.
"When I was kidnapped, I started trying to escape in several ways, either by punching Daryl, or trying to faint her, even escaping from behind the door with some pillows under the pillow, but she always held the door, until I saw an opportunity to escape by being smart, I planted traps, I was doing everything by stealth, using an illusion spell, I was making spears with the pieces of chain, scraping against the floor to sharpen them, I was making triggers that came out of the bed and so she would be caught by surprise, but the best came later, she gave me a calculator, thinking I wouldn't do anything, but I got the best, I created a remote device to trigger and control everything inside, I managed to open the door and so I escaped at the opportunity and still silently, with a lock and everything, I changed that lock to be the most silent thing in the world and the rest was just running away and activating the traps, then I got some C4 that she had in her room, so I could run away with style and broke the monitors, so she will never find me, I even made an alternative route so she wouldn't appear in the only exit, so I would be out of the radar and a lot, it was simply my genius being put in test in all that, until I found Mirage who was trying to find me" I tell them that they were amazed.
"Interesting and genius Brooke, now I'm just going to call Agent Morris, make yourself at home 'ere, eat to your heart's content, I know it may seem uncomfortable, but 'elp us find Daryl's 'iding place" I just nod my head in agreement as Mrs McLaren looked after me, as did Mirage who stroked me.
"You know how I recognised that that wasn't the real Brooke?" Mirage said.
"How cute? You pulled down her trousers and saw what I had" I say laughing and eating some cookies.
"You have tattoos where you inject hormones, I saw that and at the time I realized how she didn't hide it so well, apart from her manner, it seemed like she was avoiding me all the time, very different from you before being kidnapped, her body too, she's taller than you, besides the bigger things, anyway, I managed to convince her to take off her clothes" Said my Frenchwoman being her always.
"I'm not surprised you did that, it was the most Mirage tactic I could think of, worse I'd take my clothes off pretty easy for you, from the amount you've seen me inject and when I showed you the tattoos it seems showing your ass worked hahahaha" I say laughing and all relieved.
It was like a weight coming off my shoulders, now I'm not in that horrible place anymore and it will only be a matter of time until they capture Daryl and put her behind bars once and for all, it's going to be so good, free and not afraid of this curse anymore, but to be honest I wish the bitch would die once and for all and never come back to this world, but I think that's an exaggeration, I'm too traumatized by all of this.
"Well, I 'ave already called agent Morris and a few others, we are going after dis damn bitch, it arrived just in time when de girls were in class, a sign dat we will be able to do de mission without running any risks" said Mrs. McLaren.
When the agents arrive, with everyone gathered in the middle of the Luna Nova courtyard...
POV Diana:
Strange that agents show up here, we're in flying class and I go tae my mum and... Brooke? She ran away? That's great, I'm going towards them all, fuck class I want tae see my aunt go tae jail, as well as Akko and Hellene who were with me.
"Miss Cavendish, Miss Kagari and Miss McLaren, class is here, where do you think you are going?" she said and we just ignored her and went tae where my mother was.
"Brooke!" I call out tae her and come in with a hug, relieved to know she's alive, I've felt the heaviest all these days.
"Diana! I told you I would show up and she's not going to kill me, you didn't have to worry so much, I'm smart" She said and I still insisted on continuing.
We started following Brooke, she seemed tae know the way, I dinnae give a damn about the classes, until I noticed my mother following them and she made a big face, but she kept walking, she called us and we went with her.
"What are you doin 'ere? Class is still going on, you will be punished for dat" said the mother.
"I'm nae going tae stay here and wait, I'm going tae give a chance tae finally be able tae find Daryl" I even extend my hand and with that the Claiomh Solais started tae fly until it reached my hands.
"You can't risk yourselves like dis, I don't want to lose my daughters! Do you realise de danger?" said the mother.
"That's why we're going, we're nae going tae die, and we're nae going tae lose ye too, Mum!" We said together and she even looks a bit shocked at the face she made.
"We're getting close, it's an abandoned Arcturus factory that used to be around here, we're getting to it now," Brooke said.
"I won't say anything, but come back! Come back! And come back now! I don't want to lose you" Mum is very serious about this one, she even looked at us with her hand.
"Come on Diana, we can't always act crazy like this" Akko said ironically being the voice of reason.
Mum even created a barrier around us sae we wouldn't get through, what a mess, we even stood still and walked backwards, but Akko just nods fae us tae walk alongside, she even turns into a bird, what a genius idea.
"It seems like we're really going to let this opportunity pass us by," Akko said.
"Come on lassies we are going to follow dem anyway" Hellene said.
"I dinnae expect this from ye Akko, but it's always the Akko way" I say surprised.
We keep looking through the trees, following everyone that way towards the factory and soon they arrive at the door, I would never find such a thing and we passed in front of it, I remember, the facade is very deceiving, it looks like a continuation of the forest, and then they use magic and go through the doors that are the trunks of the tree opening.
"Come on, just wait a bit and we'll go in," said Hellene.
We go back tae normal, standing at the door where I take a deep breath, now it's the moment of truth, we're going tae face Daryl, incredibly Brooke was brave enough tae go there, along with the agents, I wouldn't want tae step in that hell again, we wait just enough, nae tae piss off my mum.
"The shiny rod is even glowing" Akko said.
"A sign that we're going tae have another word on the way, but it could also be a sign of something big" I say looking at the portal.
"Now come on, we will defeat dis curse, we will not let 'er get our mother" Hellene said.
"It won't be now that she will have this chance, if she wants tae get our mother, she will have tae go through us and if she goes through us we will join her in this" I say holding Hellene's hand.
"We just started dating yesterday and we already have something like that to do?" said my sweetheart.

The three of us entered and I could see that my mother was genuinely angry, I dinnae expect something like this, she took us by surprise, we walked through the corridors, she led us tae where everyone was, still very quiet, even Akko got tense.
"Oh they followed ye" Agent Morris said.
"I already knew dat dey would follow us, but we are going to take dese stubborn ones with us, don't think of splitting up on the way, keep in line, be responsible, do what we tell you, don't think of changing de route, you 'ear me" said mum and we nodded.
We then follow the map, until then the factory seems pretty empty, but Akko soon waves tae me, I go tae her and we seem tae have a plan in mind, let's split up with them, fae sure, I think this way it's faster tae find Daryl, since there are several paths tae follow.
"At my signal the three of us will take the corridor and hide from them" Akko whispers in my ear and also in Hellene's. We wait fae the right moment and soon Akko signals us tae turn the corridor. We wait fae the right moment and soon Akko signals us tae turn tae the corridor, but mum just snaps her fingers and stares at us with her arms crossed.
"I wasn't born yesterday" she said.
"You're right you was born on 14 January 1972" Hellene said mockingly.
"I'm serious" she said.
POV Narrator:
Brooke escaped and she comes back with everything, to not even give Daryl time to breathe, in little more than an hour of her escape, she has already gone with everything with agents, to not give Daryl time, but she still has a surprise waiting for everyone on the way that no one expects, so much so that the dangers only began during this complicated mission.
