"Why are you guys letting her walk off like that!?" Jeremy shouted into everyone's coms.

"Relax Jeremy, Nori is going to notice Naomi is packing and make sure she doesn't leave." Yumi answered.

After a bit of walking, Naomi reached the sanatorium and went to the room she kept her clothes and supplies in. When Naomi was halfway through packing Nori walked in the room.

"Where are you going?" Nori asked.

"Getting away from here. I've realized that since I work for QUILL and I work with Gunvolt, Copen is going to keep trying to come after us. Not to mention I don't want you or anyone else harmed. So, I'm taking my clothes, gear, and Lola. There's an apartment I've heard is available for rent so I'm taking the opportunity." Naomi explained.

"But, do you even plan on saying goodbye?" Nori wondered.

"If I do it's just going to make it harder on everybody." Naomi answered.

Nori nodded.

"I see. When are you leaving?" Nori pondered.

"Tonight, when everyone's asleep. My watch has a button that can instantly teleport me anywhere, I just have to set the coordinates." Naomi responded.

Suddenly, Naomi and Nori heard the sound of pounding footsteps approaching. Along with a female voice yelling.

"Naomi! You can't go!" the girl shouted.

"Darn it! How did Yumi find me!?" Naomi fumed.

"You know her?" Nori queried.

"Kind of, it's hard to explain. You remember the time I went to that Factory in France to catch Asroc? Well it turns out that girl and some friends of hers save the world in this virtual world called Lyoko. They go there every day via scanners, a super calculator and a supercomputer." Naomi explained.

Yumi ran into the room and panted as she leaned in the doorway for support.

"I'm not allowing you to go!" Yumi protested.

"No you aren't, Nori is. I need the consent of my legal guardian. And in this case, it's Nori. She's already called, and the landlord has the apartment cleaned up, all I have to do is move in." Naomi spoke.

Naomi jumped when she heard someone else walking in her direction.

"What's this about? Who's leaving?" a male voice asked.

"Nobody's leaving Copen. The only person that needs to leave is you so you can go back to resting." Naomi answered.

"Then what's up with the suitcases with your things in them?" Copen interrogated.

"I'm just going on a little vacation." Naomi replied.

'Permanently.' Naomi thought.

"It seems more like your trying to move somewhere else." Copen remarked.

"How did you know?" Naomi sneered.

"You have all your things in suitcases, including Lola's charger." Copen spoke.

"Did you seriously not hear the sarcasm in my voice?" Naomi asked.

Lola flew into the room as fast as she could.

"Boss! Boss! Where are we going?" Lola wondered as she looked at her charger in the final suitcase Naomi was currently in the process of packing.

"Come on Lola, we're leaving here, forever. I've found an apartment complex with an apartment for rent. I'm taking my chances on it." Naomi responded.

Naomi grabbed her two suitcases with Lola in tow. But when she tried to exit the room, Copen grabbed her by her left arm.

"He-hey! What's the meaning of this!?" Naomi ranted.

"You can't go." Copen answered.

"Like hell I can! According to the government Nori's our legal guardian and she's given me her consent that I can rent an apartment. You, don't have a say in any of this." Naomi protested.

"But, why are you doing this anyways?" Copen interrogated.

"I don't want you or anyone else unnecessarily getting involved in my battles ever again." Naomi replied.

Copen released his grip on Naomi's arm and turned around in time to see her disappear from his field of vision. Yumi tried to run after Naomi but was stopped dead in her tracks by Nori putting her left arm in front of the doorway.

"It's useless Yumi. I know Naomi well enough to know that there's no trying to get her to change her mind." Nori explained.

Yumi sighed.
