Meanwhile, Naomi woke up in a bedroom on a queen-sized bed with a tan blanket and brown pillowcases covering the four pillows on the bed.
"What the, where am I?" Naomi wondered while sitting up.
Suddenly, one of the men that was previously Xana possessed (the one with the black hair to be most specific) walked over to Naomi. His outfit was the same as Mr. Minsura's.
"Your finally awake. I thought you'd never wake up." The man spoke.
Naomi aimed her gun at the man. Suddenly, Mr. Minsura appeared out of the blue in the doorway of the room. Mr. Minsura then walked over to where Naomi and the other man were. Naomi pointed her gun at Mr. Minsura and shot him. The other man looked at Naomi with a mix of rage and surprise on his face.
"Well, it looks like my job here is done." Naomi smiled while dusting her hands off.
The man looked at Naomi with a mix of rage and surprise on his face before shoving Naomi back on the bed. The man then pinned her wrists down.
"Come on Blake! We've got a fighter!" the man shouted.
The blond-haired man walked up to Naomi and pinned her legs down.
"Stop it please! Your hurting me!" Naomi shouted.
Meanwhile, Gunvolt was watching Joule repeatedly dunk her salmon sushi into her soy sauce.
"Something wrong Joule?" Gunvolt asked.
"I was hoping Naomi could come with us. Where is she anyway?" Joule wondered.
Gunvolt started to nervously sweat a bit but managed to keep his cool otherwise. Suddenly, Gunvolt got a call through his com.
"Hey GV? We've got a problem." Moniqa spoke.
"What is it?" Gunvolt worried.
"I've been listening in on the conversation between Naomi and the goons when I heard Naomi shout 'stop it please your hurting me'. I think you need to go help her out." Moniqa answered.
"On it." Gunvolt replied before getting out of his seat and asking a waitress for takeout containers.
"What's wrong GV?" Joule asked.
Gunvolt didn't want to tell her, but now he didn't have a choice.
"Naomi went out earlier to eliminate someone who's been taking female Adepts from thirteen to nineteen years of age. Naomi got sent in and Moniqa just told me that she asked someone to stop hurting her, so they need me to go help her out." Gunvolt explained.
Joule ran out the door faster than Gunvolt. Gunvolt dropped Joule off at the apartment before going to QUILL HQ to see if Moniqa had any other news for him.
"Nothing new as of yet. I'll let you know if there are any other developments." Moniqa affirmed.
"Do you know where she is?" Gunvolt asked.
"She's at the Hiroshima hotel in room 349." Moniqa replied.
"Alright, I'm heading there now." Gunvolt spoke before exiting the building.
When he got there, he climbed the wall with a grappling hook attached to a rope to get there. Gunvolt jumped in through the window. When he got into the room, he saw the blonde man keeping her legs held down while he was grabbing Naomi's Bullits. While Naomi kept kicking him in the face, hoping he'd give up.
