Back in the Stratacombs, Copen and Gunvolt were still walking when they saw a piercing white light at the end of the hallway. When the boys got there, they heard cackling laughter.

"Who's there!? Show yourself!" Copen shouted.

Suddenly, three poles were seen, and a girl 'slithered' down the center pole.

The girl had had short, purple hair, and black eyes with purple irises. She was wearing purple, grey and black armor. On her head was a headpiece which vaguely resembled a cobra's hood, with a long pink "tail" sprouting from it with a spearhead on the end.

Her arms were also covered in armor that resembled a cobra hood. It was Elise.

"Ssso, you mussssst be the Adept I've heard sssso much about." Elise greeted.

Copen then aimed his gun at Elise.

"What are you doing here?" Copen interrogated.

Elise giggled.

"I wass sssstationed here to keep anyone from taking the power out." Elise explained.

Gunvolt looked at Copen before speaking.

"You take care of Elise and meet me at the exit when your done." Gunvolt spoke.

Copen nodded before Gunvolt ran off. Copen then used the 'Greedy Snatcher' twice before Elise died. However, before she disappeared from the face of the Earth, she said something worrying.

"I will haunt you, and when I do, it will be to sssomone you care about." Elise notified.

Elise's Glaive appeared before cracking and dissipating into the air. Copen then darted through the hall to catch up with Gunvolt. Meanwhile the group was back in Jeremy's dorm waiting for the next 6 hours to pass so they could go to Lyoko.

"I think I'm going to ask my parents about this. They might know something about the Sumeragi and Adepts." Yumi spoke.

Yumi then left. Back at Firmament, Stratos was guarding the machine while Naomi was still in it. A few feet away, Nova was pondering about what he was going to do after all Adepts were under his control.

'I could broadcast the Muse's songs worldwide to eliminate the threat of other Adepts across the globe.' Nova pondered.

At the sanatorium, Nori was talking about Mytyl's diet with Ms. Francine. Mytyl however was missing Naomi.

'Are they ever going to come back?' Mytyl worried.

In France, Yumi just returned home and closed the door behind her. Yumi then noticed Hiroki poke his head out from the living room door.

"Yumi's home!" Hiroki hollered.

Hiroki then went into the living room on the couch to play Space Crusades on his handheld game console. Mrs. Ishiyama then walked up to Yumi before pulling her into the kitchen by her right wrist. Yumi then sat down in a chair at the table.

"Would you care to explain why you've been coming home at 8'o clock instead of 6?" Mr. Ishiyama interrogated.

Yumi nervously twiddled with her thumbs.

"Well?" Mr. Ishiyama spoke.

"Well, I've heard about this corporate group from Japan since I've been looking at the Japanese news. And my friends have been trying to help me look for books on them in the library." Yumi lied.

"Well, I'm glad that your trying to learn a bit about your family history Yumi but I don't believe any of the libraries here would have any books about Japanese history." Mr. Ishiyama doubted.

Suddenly, Mrs. Ishiyama got an idea.

"I have an idea. Why don't we go to Japan for your summer break?" Mrs. Ishiyama suggested.

Yumi then began to walk out of the room. But not before her mother questioned her.

"Where are you going?" Mrs. Ishiyama questioned.

"To pack my bags." Yumi answered.

Yumi proceeded to enter her bedroom. Yumi then pulled out her phone before speed dialing Jeremy.

"Come on, pick up, pick up." Yumi whispered.

"Hello?" Jeremy greeted.

"We might have a problem." Yumi worried.

"What is it?" Jeremy wondered.

"I lied to my parents that I was trying to look up information on the Sumeragi in the library. My mom said they probably wouldn't have any books on them since this is a different country. So my parents agreed to take me and Hiroki to Japan for summer break." Yumi explained.

"Since this isn't an urgent matter that doesn't require a return to the past there's nothing I can do about it. All I can do is work on the clones." Jeremy notified.

"It's okay Jeremy. I'll see you at 2 tomorrow morning." Yumi informed.

"See you then." Jeremy smiled.

"Bye." Yumi finished.
