Meanwhile, Copen and Gunvolt were looking for the power generator. Gunvolt was looking using his Flashfield. Soon enough, Gunvolt found a silver rectangle and grabbed the handle. When GV opened it, he noticed a label above the third to last handle labeled 'Emergency Power'.
So Copen walked over before pulling the switch down. Followed by him and Gunvolt destroying the handle. Afterwards, the regular power and the backup power were deemed unusable. At Firmament, the lights went out. The troops however had night vision.
Naomi was then freed from the machine. When she stepped out, she saw Stratos before he knocked her unconscious using his 'Insect Spawn' move using the insects to inject liquid anesthetic into Naomi via little needle like spikes on the insect's feet.
Meanwhile, Asimov had his back to the right corner of the corridor entrance, hoping to sneak past the guards without getting caught. Asimov then shot a Bullit at the closer of the 2 guards. The farther agent started running to warn Nova. However, when the agent reached the door, Asimov shot him.
Nova heard this and looked at the door. There was a drop of blood he noticed. However, Nova didn't bother with it. Copen and Gunvolt were out of the building and heading towards Firmament. When the duo got to the orbital elevator, it was strangely unguarded.
Gunvolt then turned to look at Copen.
"This is a little suspicious don't you think? I mean, leaving this area unguarded." Gunvolt spoke.
Copen turned and nodded.
"It is suspicious. It makes me wonder if the guards from here went up to Firmament for some unknown purpose." Copen agreed.
Gunvolt stepped into the elevator first, followed by Copen. Back in the tower, Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich, Odd and Xana were sitting on the tower platform.
"So, could you tell us when you met Naomi?" Jeremy asked.
"I met Naomi while working with Dr. Kamizono. He was always telling me about his children, so he decided to introduce me to them. Since it seemed like a safe place for the most part, I decided to bring Aelita the next day.
The children all fascinated me with their intelligence and personalities but the oldest in particular interested me the most." Franz explained before getting cut off by Jeremy.
"Wait, oldest would be a term used to refer to three or more people. But last time I checked Naomi only had a brother." Jeremy spoke.
Xana stood up before putting his arms out like the famous Christ statue in Rio.
"I told you about Mytyl already Jeremy." Xana notified.
Jeremy raised his right eyebrow in confusion.
"Allow me to explain. Naomi was the oldest triplet. Or so that's what her siblings were lead to believe. They were born 14 years after Naomi. She stayed trapped in a machine for 14 years that wouldn't let her body age. So, when Dr. Kamizono wanted to introduce the two to Naomi, he implanted fake memories first.
Afterwards, Aelita and Naomi discussed things before playing while I worked." Franz explained.
"Ooohhhh." Everyone else spoke.
