Meanwhile, everyone was still on Lyoko. Suddenly, a screen appeared, revealing a smiling Nova Tsukuyomi.
"What did you do with Naomi!?" Xana shouted angrily.
"No worries, she's safe in Firmament." Nova explained calmly.
Nova then showed the group the empty machine. Ulrich snickered.
"What's the matter Nova? Your plan failed?" Ulrich teased.
Nova turned around, surprised to see Naomi wasn't in the machine before turning off the video. Suddenly, some coding appeared on the tower interface.
"What is it?" Aelita wondered.
"It looks like, code." Yumi thought aloud.
"Aelita, can you send me the codes?" Jeremy questioned.
"Of course Jeremy. I'm sending them to you now." Aelita replied.
When Jeremy saw the codes, he was in absolute shock.
"I don't believe it! These look like materialization codes!" Jeremy spoke.
Xana rubbed the back of his neck while turning his attention away from the screen.
"I've been trying to make myself human." Xana explained.
Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich and Odd glared at Xana.
"Is it okay if I tweak them and use them?" Jeremy pondered.
"Sure." Xana sneered.
Jeremy then began tweaking the program.
"Just make sure he stays far away from me." Xana muttered angrily.
At the sanatorium, Nori quickly checked outside to see if Copen had returned. But to her surprise, all Nori could see was lots of rain. Back at Firmament, the trio of boys were waiting for Naomi to return with Lola, when suddenly, they heard Naomi talking.
"Yeah, in your dreams. Lola, use Shred Storm!" Naomi spoke.
The next thing the three heard was the screams of 25 men followed by their lifeless corpses collapsing onto the equally lifeless gray tile. Naomi then grabbed Lola before dashing back.
"Okay, now I suggest we go before things get any more complicated." Naomi recommended.
Everyone else nodded before the group headed for the orbital elevator. However, when they got there, they noticed the elevator was guarded by Nova, Stratos and Jota.
"Nokay, gotta admit, I wasn't expecting this, at all." Naomi pondered aloud.
Gunvolt then looked at Naomi.
"Hey." Gunvolt spoke.
Naomi then turned to her left and looked at Gunvolt.
"Do you know how to use Voltaic chains?" Gunvolt asked.
"Do I know how to use what!?" Naomi interrogated. Gunvolt shook his head.
"Never mind, forget about it." Gunvolt responded.
"Yeah, we don't have to fight remember? We can use Lola!" Naomi smiled.
Naomi then put the coordinates in for the QUILL building.
"Well, I guess Copen and I will be heading back now. See you guys tomorrow!" Naomi notified before her and Copen began their walk back to the sanatorium.
At the sanatorium, Mytyl was wondering about something.
'Wait, if that's Naomi, why isn't Lola here?' Mytyl thought.
Soon enough, Mytyl would get her answer. Suddenly, Naomi and Copen walked in before going to bed. Back on Lyoko, the group (including Franz Hopper) were in the tower waiting for Jeremy to finish the materialization program. Ulrich was tapping his left foot impatiently.
"Can you at least rematerialize us?" Ulrich ranted.
Jeremy then devirtualized Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich and Odd, leaving Xana all alone with Franz Hopper. At the sanatorium, the Naomi clone self-destructed at the sight of the real Naomi who was currently wondering about her future.
'I wonder what I'm going to do when all of this is over.' Naomi thought to herself.
Soon enough, back at the Factory, Jeremy just finished materializing Franz Hopper. Aelita was the first person to greet him by running up to him and hugging him.
"It's really you." Aelita cried.
Back in Tokyo, it was midnight and Naomi was working on Lola.
"Do you know what Mytyl wants for her birthday?" Naomi spoke.
"Could you tell me?" Lola sked.
"She wants a sibling day. She wants me and Copen to go places with her. I mean, a hardware store sounds nice, but I refuse to go to a nail salon with her while Copen gets all the fun of looking at a 4 point screwdriver." Naomi answered.
"Can I come!?" Lola begged.
Suddenly, Naomi put her needle nose pliers down and ran upstairs to Mytyl's room. Naomi had to grab onto the entranceway to prevent herself from going too far. Naomi then looked into Mytyl's room to see what she was doing.
It turns out Mytyl was listening to an e-book on her tablet. Mytyl noticed Naomi in the doorway before smiling and waving her right hand at Naomi. Mytyl then turned her e-book off before turning on her communication app.
'She's going to be so surprised and happy when she finds out what her birthday present from me is!' Naomi thought excitedly.
Naomi was so ecstatic she didn't know her happiness went from internal to external.
'Um, you okay sis?' Mytyl wrote.
"Yeah, just wondering what your doing up so late, besides reading your e-books." Naomi answered.
Naomi then finished up with Lola before going to bed. After she woke up, Naomi tried to video chat with the Lyoko Warriors at 6 AM on her end. Jeremy then saw the image of Naomi in the bottom left corner.
"Naomi!? Is it really you!?" Jeremy questioned.
"Yeah, the clone self-destructed as soon as it saw me." Naomi answered.
"Where's Copen?" Jeremy wondered.
"Still sleeping." Naomi replied while pointing to her open bedroom door.
Suddenly, Naomi got the perfect prank idea and smiled menacingly.
"Uh-oh, I know that look. What are you scheming Naomi?" Jeremy spoke.
"Let's see if Copen wakes up when I make some coffee." Naomi smirked.
Naomi then turned off her webcam before walking to the kitchen. The kitchen was the size of a ball room. There were several cabinets filled with crystal cups, gold rimmed plates and silver cutlery. The massive gray countertop wrapped around the room.
There was a fridge in the top right corner of the room to the right of the white double doors. Naomi then poked around until she found the coffee grounds and filters. Some of the smell escaped from under the doors, through the hall and into Copen's room.
When he awoke, Copen noticed the strong scent of coffee and wandered his way to the kitchen. When Naomi was mixing some milk into her coffee, she turned around to see her brother confusedly staring at her before turning his attention to the coffee cup then back again.
Naomi then put some chocolate syrup in followed by some whipped cream. Naomi then took a sip before turning around, with the cup in her right hand.
"Hey bro, what's up?" Naomi greeted.
Copen then walked over before pouring himself some coffee in a red ceramic mug. Naomi then took another sip of her coffee before speaking.
"So, about the Adept killing spree." Naomi started.
Copen opened his eyes before walking out of the kitchen.
'He isn't in a mood he is a mood.' Naomi thought.
Back at the Factory, Xana was regretting a past decision while pacing in the tower.
'I can't believe I left her back there.' Xana remembered.
Suddenly, Xana fell to his digital knees as the memory of that day crashed over him like a wave. Xana was sitting and having a lively conversation with Naomi who had her head rested in the palm of her left hand while her elbow rested on her left knee as they chatted about daily life.
However, that was all interrupted when Franz and Dr. Kamizono approached the two. Xana went with Franz while Naomi went with her father. Xana went to an area that was the entrance hall. Xana then exited before looking up at his creator.
"How long are we leaving for?" Xana wondered.
"Forever." Franz replied flatly.
"Can I say goodbye to Naomi before we leave?" Xana questioned.
"I'm sorry Xana, but that won't be possible." Franz answered.
Back with Naomi, Xana hacked a camera and saw she was being placed in a machine that would preserve her body. It was part of an experiment being performed to see if humans could be preserved while Adepts were destroyed.
At the time however, the Sumeragi and their employees didn't know that Septima was hereditary. Soon enough, Naomi was literally frozen while Xana was metaphorically frozen in terror. And that was the end of the flashback.
So, Xana went to the Hermitage and snapped his fingers in order to restore the Hermitage to it's former glory. While the group was walking back to Kadic, they received a jump scare from Xana who was coming from the road that merged with the park path.
"I've repaired the Hermitage. You and Aelita can live in it now." Xana notified.
"Thank you Xana." Franz thanked.
Xana curiously lifted his head and opened his eyes.
"Y-y-y-your thanking me? After all I've done?" Xana asked, bewildered.
"Is there something wrong?" Franz queried.
"Why are you thanking me?" Xana pondered aloud.
"Why wouldn't I? You've done so many wonderful things." Franz spoke.
"Like what?" Xana interrogated before folding his arms and tapping his right foot rather impatiently.
"You've allowed us to experiment on you with no complaints, you've learned so much and you've exceeded my every expectation." Franz responded.
