Back with Naomi, she was walking to the QUILL office with Gunvolt.
"Thanks for saving my hide back there. I owe ya one, big time." Naomi thanked.
Gunvolt and Naomi then got to the QUILL building.
Moniqa was talking with Asimov before Moniqa looked over his left shoulder and pointing at Naomi. Asimov then walked over to Gunvolt and Naomi before handing Gunvolt a case file.
"What's this?" Gunvolt wondered aloud.
"Your latest assignment." Asimov notified.
When Gunvolt opened the folder, two train tickets fell out. Naomi then picked the tickets up before examining them.
"Train tickets? Why do we need these?" Naomi questioned.
"The Sumeragi is opening a new facility for the purpose of storing data on Adepts nationwide. We need you and Gunvolt to destroy the main server there." Asimov explained.
Moniqa then walked over with two lanyards, one in each hand. At the end of the chains was a VIP pass to areas that were strictly forbidden to enter unless you had a special access pass or were a member of the Sumeragi.
"I managed to create fake passes so you two can get to the server without anyone getting suspicious." Moniqa added before giving Naomi and Gunvolt the fake passes.
Gunvolt and Naomi walked onto the train before sitting down. A few minutes later, the train departed from the station. Naomi looked to the left and three rows up to see Nova near a window while Jota was in the aisle seat.
Naomi then rapidly sat back, eyes wide in fear before gripping her seat. Gunvolt turned to curiously look at Naomi with his left eyebrow raised.
"Is the speed of the train too much?" Gunvolt guessed.
Naomi shook her head.
"It's Nova and Jota." Naomi whispered.
Gunvolt then looked and sure enough, Nova and Jota were still conversing.
"I'm calling Asimov." Gunvolt notified.
Gunvolt put his com in. Naomi thought she heard someone stand up so she peeked over the seat. Jota was standing up and walking their way. Naomi made herself and Gunvolt invisible just before Jota passed them.
"Your free to speak GV." Asimov spoke.
"Nova and Jota are on the train with us." Gunvolt explained.
"This might change the success rate of the mission. I don't recommend worrying about it too much." Asimov replied.
Gunvolt then disabled communications for the rest of the trip. When they got to the building, Gunvolt and Naomi noticed a woman that vaguely resembled Moniqa. Naomi then pointed to her.
"Hey, isn't that Moniqa?" Naomi theorized.
Gunvolt looked and assumed it was Moniqa to. However, he wasn't to sure either.
"Why don't we look a little closer, just to make sure?" Gunvolt suggested.
Naomi nodded before walking with Gunvolt to where the woman was.
"Hello, can I see your passes please?" the woman greeted.
Gunvolt and Naomi showed their passes before the woman scanned them.
"Good luck you two. Asimov will send me in if you guys run into any trouble." Moniqa spoke.
The two nodded before entering the building. It turns out that Jota was leading the tour while Nova walked to the left of him. While Jota was displaying the power grid, Naomi and Gunvolt entered the server room.
Nova looked over his shoulder to see Naomi entering the room while Gunvolt held the door open.
"Keep the tour going. I'll be right back." Nova spoke.
Nova then walked over to the server room entrance door. However, it seems the attack was expected. A man was already guarding the room He had black eyes with orange irises and darker yellow hair. The lower part of his face was covered by a black and white mask that resembled a mouth.
His body was covered in black armor with yellowish orange highlights. His arms in particular have rather heavy armor, with orange spikes protruding from them.
"Who are thou and what are thy objectives being sought?" Carrera interrogated.
Suddenly, Naomi and Gunvolt heard the door behind them close. The two quickly turned around to see Nova.
"I hope Asimov plans on sending Moniqa in right about now." Naomi spoke.
Naomi then got an idea to fight but left her battle gear back at home. Luckily, she had her gun on her. So Naomi tagged and flashed Carrera while Gunvolt took care of Nova. Suddenly, Naomi and Gunvolt got a call through their coms.
"You guys have to report back. There's too many people around to witness and not enough backup." Moniqa notified.
