Welcome back to A Fairy Tail Re-Told: The Final Chapters! E.N.D. has awoken, and our heroes are rushing to save Natsu. However, Gray appears to have different intentions as he confronts the demon intending to fulfill his father's desire to kill the most powerful demon from the books of Zeref. "fine," the person said as he jumped, creating a sizeable explosive wave of flame, knocking everyone out of the way. "I can smell you, boss," he growled. "I will not stop," he screamed. Ash fought through all the soldiers creating large bursts of fire with each step he took. "I will kill you, Zeref," he shouted as the flames disappeared, revealing E.N.D., his shirt badly burnt from his flames. Demonic markings appeared on his skin, along with dragon scales covering his body, as he unleashed another wave of fire, killing every guard stupid enough to get in his way.
"This guy's unstoppable."
"hold the line."
"get out of my way," E.N.D shouted as he blazed past them. "Where is Zeref" he screamed as he let out a demonic roar.
"well then, I guess I must take you down" God, Serena laughed. "Now face," he was stopped when E.N.D rushed past him, making him cough up blood as he turned around and opened his mouth, letting out a large wave of fire, killing him instantly.
"Fool," E.N.D muttered as he turned; looking around, everything around him started to burn as he continued forward. "Zeref," he whispered. "Where are you, Zeref" he growled as he looked at the fairy pub. "There," a dark grin grew over his face as he slugged forward. Ice appeared before him as he turned, "Who dares."
"found you," Gray muttered.
"Your not Zeref," E.N.D growled out.
Alvarez arc: Broken Bonds
"Get out of my way," E.N.D shouted.
"All this time," Gray whispered. "It's been you. My greatest enemy, the source of all my problems," he shouted, "Well, Natsu, answer me," he shouted.
"get out of my way," E.N.D growled out again. "You're not Zeref," he muttered, "so get out of my way, or I'll kill you where you stand," he looked to the ground. "The longer you stand in my way, the longer Zeref draws breath," he smiled, "and I will kill him," he shouted. "I will kill Zeref," he shouted.
"so, there is no getting through to you," Gray muttered as he activated his demon slayer magic. Remembering what Invel told him. "Zeref is all you think about now, your obsessed with him."
"Zeref must die," E.N.D shouted.
"oh, someone going to die, all right," Gray growled. "It's you," he shouted as he charged at E.N.D blocked the attack, a smile on his face.
"huh, this is cold," he laughed, "but seeing as you are in my way," he growled, "You have to die," he shouted as he punched Gray into the ground. "Any who defend Zeref must die."
"you're going down, E.N.D.," Gray shouted as they clashed. "I'm going to kill you," Gray screamed, "{ice demons: rage}."
"you think this will stop me," E.N.D smiled. "Your weak and pathetic ice," he screamed as his flames blazed through the ice, shocking Gray as he jumped back from the explosion from the fire covering the sky.
"I made a promise to my dad," Gray shouted. "So, I'm going to keep it," he screamed. The heat was intense, but he could manage it. All those times taking on Natsu's flames were starting to come in handy, but there was something different about them.
"your nothing," E.N.D growled, "nothing but an obstacle and pawn of Zeref," he shouted.
"Like you can talk," Gray shouted as they clashed again "your nothing but his executioner," he screamed. "Have you thought for a second about the lives you ruined on your endless path to him?" as E.N.D kicked him away
"all paths lead to Zeref," E.N.D. shouted as Gray's attacks bounced off him. "Zeref" E.N.D. muttered. "ZEREF!" he screamed as his flames turned into a dark red the ground around them started to melt as Gray backed up.
"damn, he's getting even stronger," Gray muttered as he forced himself to his feet as E.N.D smiled. "You're not getting past me, E.N.D!" Gray screamed, his rage completely overtaking him as E.N.D smiled, rushing him
"This is the end of you, Zeref," E.N.D shouted. The fire around him turned dark red, his eyes no blank white as he and Gray continued their fight, punching him away. "All will burn, so the black wizard dies," he screamed again. "This is the end," he shouted.
"your right. This is the end," Gray shouted as he they attacked each other Gray ice melting under the intense flames as E.N.D smiled "damn, Zeref went all out with this one."
"I will kill Zeref, and you will not prevent me from reaching him," E.N.D shouted as she punched Gray again. "Must kill Zeref."
"you finished E.N.D," Gray shouted. They for ready to attack again. Fire and ice swirled around both as E.N.D shook off Gray's attack, but that didn't stop him from going at him again.
"your pathic human body will give out," E.N.D laughed, "and when it does, you will die," he shouted as he punched Gray away again.
"I will kill you," Gray shouted as he managed to stand up after the assault. "Your reign of terror rend today E.N.D Tartaros deliora all of it because of you, and I'm going to stop it," he shouted as he thought about Juvia. "You're not taking anything else from me."
"I'll take your life," E.N.D laughed as they attacked again, "and then," he screamed.
"kill Zeref"
"There," Wendy smiled as she looked over Dimaria, "that should take care of the burn wounds so we can move her now."
"Why are you helping her," Brandish asked. "She's your enemy."
"but she's your friend, isn't she," Wendy asked. "So, consider it a favor to you."
"That debatable," Brandish said as Dimaria looked away.
"Now, don't say that" Lucy smiled as she put on some clothes. Next to her, Virgo stood handing her the rest of the outfit she had brought her from the celestial world. "I mean, sure, she just tried to kill you, but," Lucy thought of their conversation, "I can see that she cared about you, Brandish," she smiled. "sure, fighting with your friends sucks, and sometimes you don't always see eye to eye, but a thing you have to consider is that sometimes you can be all they have."
"she tried to kill me," Brandish whispered.
"join the club," Wendy laughed. "Most of our friends have tried to kill us," she laughed. "And sure, that sucks, but sometimes, for a person to change sometimes, all they need is someone to reach out, show them that in this world though it may be cruel, that there not alone,"
"All right, that's about as much of that sap I can take," Porlyusica said.
"oh, ignore her. She believes in this stuff as much as we do," Cana laughed. "why do you think she's still here and patches us together every time we hurt ourselves."
"quiet, Cana," Porlyusica shouted.
"you ready, Lu," Wendy asked.
"yeah," Lucy smiled, "Thanks, Virgo."
"anytime, princess," Virgo bowed before vanishing.
"Okay, now let's go find my brother," Wendy smiled. "me and Happy can look from the skies; Carla think you can carry Dimaria. I don't want to leave her here, and there's a chance I'll need to look over Natsu on sight" Dimaria then shrunk right next to them, shocking her as Brandish walked up to her. "What are you doing."
"you guys, go find your friend," Brandish said. "I'll keep Dimaria with me," She smiled. " in this form, her magic power shrunk as well."
"awe-inspiring magic," Porlyusica muttered.
"come on," Cana shouted. "We need to find that flame-eating dork before he gets himself killed."
"Right"
"I think I gotta lock on Gray's sent," Meredy said as she ran carrying Juvia. Rossello is close behind. "You okay back there, Juvia."
"Juvia is fine," Juvia muttered, "but we need to get to Gray before he does something he will regret."
"Natsu's a demon. I'm half-demon. What the hell else don't we still know" Meredy whispered as she ran forward. "Why didn't sensei tell us all of this," she asked aloud as Juvia looked at her friend with concerned eyes.
"Just stay focused," Juvia said. "We'll find out together."
"I hope your right," Meredy smiled, "but let's find Gray before he does something stupid."
In the fairy pub, Zeref smiled as he leaned back. "Majesty," Irene asked. "You feel that," she whispered.
"yes," Zeref looked around, "and it would seem Mavis has taken my book."
"the book of E.N.D," Irene muttered.
"Irene, you now have my permission to enter the fray," Zeref said. "Go take down Mavis' forces and bring me Mavis and the Dragonborn," Irene laughed.
"you should have done this from the start," Irene smiled. "I will bring all of them to you in chains, but what of E.N.D."
"Once we have the fairy heart, the remaining three Dragonborn should be enough to stop Acnologia." Zeref laughed. "I'm sorry I know I promised you all four, but it appears you and I will have to make due." h laughed. "E.N.D will not be stopped so long as I draw breath, my dearest little brother is gone, and now E.N.D is all that remains," he laughed. "I will deal with my rouge creation. You just gather the remaining Dragonborn. For my plan to bear fruit, we need them."
"as you wish," Irene said. 'I had hoped it wouldn't come to that. I wanted all to recreate my kingdom, but I can deal with the three" She smiled as she walked out of the building.
"Everyone, get ready," Erza shouted as she cut through another group as Mira appeared.
"Erza, have you seen Natsu" Mira shouted as she fought off several guards. "Something wrong."
"no, I haven't," Erza said as she cut more down. "Last I saw, he ran off with Gray" She looked around, "but it's getting harder to track everyone down."
"Mira," Elfman shouted as they bulldozed all the fighters "No word on Natsu."
"where could he be," Mira whispered.
"let's keep fighting," Laxus said as she appeared beside her. "We'll find him in this mess." he smiled at her as he looked up. "What the hell is that" he called as everyone looked at the sky.
"is that a giant eyeball" Elfman shouted.

"I see you, fairy tail," Irene's voice rang across the battlefield. "You can run, Mavis, but you can't hide; now come on out, and I won't take your precious children's head."
"it can talk."
"What is that?"
"they're after, Mavis," Mira whispered.
"What is that," Lucy asked.
"the scarlet despair is here," Brandish muttered.
"This power is the same from up north," Mira whispered.
"so Irene is entering the fray," Jacob smiled. "Come on now, men, let's clean this up quickly," he screamed.
"no one escapes my all-seeing eyes," Irene bragged.

"I have no intention of hiding," Mavis's voice rang out as she saw a gigantic illusion over happened, standing over the battlefield, shocking everyone. "Hear me, my children and brother in arms; the time has come for us to fight; the fairy tactician will lead you to victory," she screamed as several small trees emerged. "Now go forth under the scared light of Tenrou."
"what is this" Max asked.
"This is Zera's magic," Erza smiled. "Come on, as long as Zera and Mavis are together. We cannot lose."
"Master, where are you" Mira shouted.
"Erza," Laxus said, "I'll lead the troops from here. You help Mira find Natsu" He looked away. "I can't feel his magic power anymore."
"right," Erza muttered. "Mira, let go and reunite with Mavis," she said. "She can probably track Natsu with a spell."
"right," Mira said.
On the mountain, Irene scowled as she looked over the battlefield, "So you want to okay this game," she laughed. "Fine, then I'll play. Bring me the heads of any none dragonborn down there," She tapped her staff into the ground. "{berserk}," she whispered as a bright red light appeared over the battlefield. The soldier's body takes on a monstrous form, especially their faces: flames pour forth from atop their heads, their teeth become fang-like, and their upper faces become shadowed out, with only their eyes being visible as gleaming rounds.
Jacob let out a growl. "Irene, what are you doing" he shouted as he to turned into a berserker beast.
"what is that" Erza shouted as the enhanced Jacob punched her away
"Erza," Romeo called.
"the soldiers, they've been enhanced," Erza muttered.
"get back," Laxus shouted.
"This is bad," Cosmos muttered. "We're getting surrounded."
"my berserker spell makes our ten times stronger, maybe more so," Irene grinned sinisterly. "They are no more mindless and will kill anything in their path, so tell me, Mavis, what's your next move? Can your sacred light protect them from this"?

"Everyone get back," Erza shouted as she cut down another group changing to her Nakagami armor. "We will not be stopped," Erza screamed. She changed into her giant armor, then her lighting empress armor, swapping arms as fast as possible.
"{explosion wave}," Mira shouted, "Get out of our way."
"{spore bomb: Rinka Rinka}" Cosmos shouted.
"{lighting drakon breath}" Laxus shouted, blasting a group away.
"There you two are," Riana shouted as she appeared, cutting down a group. "The men have changed here too," she asked "{water style: Kraken slash}," she shouted.
"Riana," Cosmos smiled. "Glad to see you, boss."
"come on, if they can do it, we can, too," Elfman shouted as she changed to his beat form. "Manly attack," he screamed as the soldiers started to get up again, walking forward. "Umm, there getting back up."
"they might not feel pain," Max shouted.
"We're screwed," Romeo shouted. Room shouted as Macoa got thrown to the ground "Dad"
"Everyone get back," Erza shouted. "We need to cut through," she screamed.
"Erza, Mira," Mavis called.
"Master," Mira shouted.
"I need you to take everyone and retreat," Mavis called.
"What, why," Mira asked.
"Trust me," Mavis shouted. "There's only one way I can see us getting out of this situation with everyone alive."
"you're going to use it," Mira asked.
"use what," Cosmos asked.
"I just need you to retreat," Mavis shouted. "Get as far back as possible."
"Everyone move now," Mira shouted as she changed into her Satan soul form "{soul extinction}" she exclaimed. "Don't worry about the enemies; go" she screamed.
"Mavis," Zera appeared, "think about this spell is what got you into this mess." she reasoned. "It is supposed to be our last resort."
"I know," Mavis smiled. "there are several ways, but" she looked back, "no matter the cost, I have to prevent more of their blood from being spilled."
She smiled as the magic around her turned black "Dark and light become one, and I ask the gods of life and death to protect those in my heart whom I call my family," she whispered. "I invoke the final judgment." she slammed her hands together, creating a blinding light.
"{Law}" Mavis's voice was a whisper as the light shined over the battlefield, blinding everyone and taking out the soldiers.
"what's that," Wendy asked.
"I don't know," Carla muttered, "but it seems it is not hurting us."
"All the soldiers went down," Yukino muttered. "Then whoever did this is on our side."
"What was that," Levy asked.
"I don't know," Gajeel muttered. "Come on, let's get back to the others."
"right behind you," Lily said.
Mavis fell to the ground, feeling pain shoot through her body as she tried to remain conscious. It had been years since she's used that spell; she had forgotten the toll it could take on her body. 'I was not going to be able to use magic for a while," she whispered.
"master," Mira called.
"Mavis" Erza voice came.
"I see her," Elfman shouted as Mavi held out her hand, telling them to stop.
"too dangerous," she then pointed south. "Your brother is over there," Mavis whispered, "you're running out of time. I'll be fine, but" she looked down. "You need to save him," she whispered as Mira said nothing, turning in that direction to find Natsu. She smiled as she watched the run-off. 'Good luck, give me some time. My magic may be gone, but my mind is still here. The rest of this battle falls on you."
"you lads aren't going anywhere," Jacob shouted, his body a little pale, but he managed to stay alive thanks to Irene's enchantments. "I will" he was stopped when Laxus struck him in the back of the head.
"you guys go," Laxus smiled. "I'll clean up this mess."
"I'll make a bud for you, Mavis," Cosmso said as some vines covered Mavis. "You just stay there and rest."
"thank you," Mavis smiled. "I just need a minute."
"Just gotta wait a bit," Zera appeared, "so try not to get captured again."
"I don't think anyone is getting near me right now," Mavis laughed as she lay down. "I just hope we can make it" She looked at the book in her hands 'damn it' she muttered, "I forgot to give them the book," she muttered.
"that light, the law spell I thought that to Mavis years ago," Zeref whispered. "How many of our forces did we lose," he asked.
"more than ninety-five percent," Irene muttered, " most of the Spriggan twelve have fallen as well, but August and I still stand, so victory is still ours " She smiled as she walked off. "Forgive me, majesty. It appears I must deal with these fairies myself."

An explosion rang out as E.N.D. jumped back as Gray continued his assault. "You're not getting away from me, E.N.D.," he shouted as she screamed as he attacked E.N.D. "You're going down,": he called "{Ice demons: laughter}" he called as E.N.D fell to the ground, standing up again, still unfazed by his attack. "I'm going to kill you and make everything right," he shouted as he jumped at him,
"Zeref" E.N.D. shouted again, punching Gray in the gut and dragging him along the ground. As he kicked him away, Gray jumped back, wiping blood from his mouth as she got ready to attack again as E.N.D said nothing. The demonic marking grew more prominent on his body, "get out of my way," E.N.D shouted as he punched Gray again, who blocked him with an ice shield as he tried to hold his ground.
"not happening," Gray shouted as he kicked E.N.D. The demon slid back, smiling as he overlooked Gray. 'Nothing I do is working on this guy,' Gray thought. 'I gotta take out the big guns," he said as he readied his maker stance.
"I can smell you, Zeref," E.N.D laughed. "You send you pawns. I will kill this one and bring his head to your feet," E.N.D shouted as she rushed Gray again, who jumped back as E.N.D chased him, grabbing his leg and slamming him on the ground as Gray jumped back.
"{Ice Devil's: Zeroth Long Sword}" Gray shouted as E.N.D blocked the attack again, grabbing him and sending him to the ground jumped back, laughing as Gray rushed him again, blocking each hit with his hands.
"your ice is failing, you pawn of Zeref," E.N.D boasted. "Do you understand the folly of your actions now" he screamed as he kicked Gray away. "Now get out of my way," he called again, fire bursting from the ground. "now get out of my way so I can kill Zeref."
"you're not going anywhere," Gray shouted "{Ice Devil's Zeroth Destruction Bow}," he called as he fired the attack E.N.D blocked it, swatting it away as he rushed to Gray again. Gray stopped his attack with his fist as Natsu punched him in the face sending him away.
"get. Out. Of. My. Way." E.N.D growled out slowly as Gray jumped up again. "Must. Kill. Zeref."
"Never," Gray shouted, "{Ice Devil's Zeroth Destruction Fist} hitting E.N.D as he grabbed his hand, smiling.
"then die," E.N.D growled she he shattered the ice around Gray, punching him in the stomach and making him cough up blood as he fell to the ground "Die," E.N.D shouted as he created a large pillar of fire.
"no," Gray shouted as he slugged back up, his black marking taking over more of his body. "I will stop you," he screamed, creating a circular ice barrier, an ice shard attack forming the middle as E.N.D. laughed and jumped at him.
"stop me, your about to die, vermin," E.N.D screamed as he slammed Gray into the ground creating another explosion. "What makes you think you will survey this."
"so much power," Gray growled as she stood, the black marking on his body growing and covering his face as he glared at E.N.D 'no, I won't let you roam this world any longer," as he created a large amount of magic power 'Ur forgive me' he screamed he took the stance for the iced shell. 'I know that doing this will cause me to be lost forever, but I made a promise.'
"what is this" E.N.D shouted, "you think you can trap me" he screamed as he attacked Gray again as jumped back.
"No, I'm going to kill you," Gray called. "I knew how strong you were; I knew the risk of fighting you, so I learned this; my demon slayer magic allowed me to master the lost Iced shell, which was made for your kind to kill demons," he called as his body started to freeze. "This is an even more powerful version of the iced shell," he screamed.
"damn you, Zeref," E.N.D shouted as they blew out of the attack creating large flames as Gray jumped out of the way. "You won't stop me," he screamed. "Nothing on the planet will keep Zeref alive."
"I don't care," Gray shouted. Everything he had been through until now, his father, his mother, Ur, and TO to end it, all he had to do was kill the demon. 'The lost Iced shell will stop you; I will kill you, he shouted as she got ready as E.N.D melted through all the ice. "Let's see how long you can keep this up, E.N.D.," Gray shouted.
"you are going to die," E.N.D Shouted as she broke through the ice Gray got ready to activate the spell. Still, before he could, the moment he did, the flesh went away; he saw NAtsu's face freezing as he looked at the demon under all those flames, under that anger and hated someone he considered his friend. Jumping away, Gray stopped as E.N.D. melted more of his ice.
"damn, it" Gray shouted 'What am I doing? Before he could stop, E.N.D. grabbed him by the face throwing him away "he got me," Gray said as he fell t, his power leaving g his body and stopping the spell, which took a lot of him. "How strong is he? Not even my ice is slowing him down."
"Zeref" E.N.D shouted again as he punched Gray to the ground, erupting flames from the ground. Gray screamed in pain as he backed up. "die," he shouted as Gray closed his eyes, expecting this blow to be the one that finished him, but he felt nothing. Opening his eyes, he looked up. In front of him was Mira, who had her arms stretched out, blocking E.N.D from moving any further; his attack had stopped as he glared at Mira.
"Mira," Gray whispered. The girl didn't acknowledge him. Her eyes were entirely on Natsu as Erza slid to his side.
"Natsu," Mira whispered. As E.N.D stepped back, "It's okay," she whispered again.
"your big sisters here."

Mavis returns triumphantly and uses the powerful Law spell to defeat a significant portion of the Alvarez army. However, E.N.D. is still causing chaos, and Natsu is seemingly out of control. Fortunately, Mira has arrived to intervene and prevent a dangerous showdown between Natsu and Gray. Can she convince Natsu to return to his senses, or is he lost forever?
