Let's see how Clyde is doing, since chances he's not gonna be a McBride anymore. I hoped that some of you had figured out the plan with Clyde's adoption when the McBride's showed up and then the priest had the file for Clyde to see from one of the previous chapters from before. But I guess I should just do this now to see if this would make sense.

(Royal Woods Elementary School.)
The portal opens again and this is starting to seem normal to the kids in town and to everyone else. Coming out is Lincoln and Lucy, and then they see they're friends go towards them. "Oh boy."
"Lincoln, we heard about what had happened. Are you guys alright?" asked Emma.
"We didn't think you three could've been kidnapped. We thought the hell kinda stuff would help ya'll fight it off" said Liam.
"Dude, everyone was so shocked and the news about you guys and Luna are still trending like freaking wildfire!" said Tabby.
"She's not wrong, still trending" replied Jenny. "And a lot of comments, and views."
"But everyone seems to be talking about the one thing everyone saw that day, and that was the angel that came down and saved you three" replied Trent.
"Heck. Tons of folks who are biblical and stuff are calling it the rescued miracle, and chances we're gonna get so many folks from church stuff coming here too" said Stella. "My granny passed out seeing what was on TV."
"The presence of that angel was….. Unnerving, but now I see that there really is a god. But that does not mean I am a girl who would pray for him. I still like demons, but that angel was pretty wicked looking" replied Haiku. "Also, I overheard the Young Morticians Club resenting what had happened yesterday."
"I was more shocked to see just how cool an angel is" said Rocky. "I thought angels were humans with angel wings made of feathers, not armored cool guards with heavy metal wings."
"That angel was so cool. I am so gonna wanna get a tattoo of that angel, what was the angels name though?" asked Rusty. "That angel has got to be the most iconic thing, ever!"
"Guys, right now the one thing to worry about is how they're feeling after nearly been kidnapped and changed by Howard and Harold McBride!" said Jordan. "The angel thing can wait, even the angel was kinda cool."
"We were so worried you guys might get brainwashed, like when aliens do it to people" said Zach.
They all look to Zach, confused and a bit annoyed. "Zach, I doubt they could be brainwashed by some aliens from outer space, also the McBride's are not aliens" said Mollie. "Also, don't say that the angel was an alien too Zach, not everything has to be about some weird alien stuff."
Zach grumbles. "I think that angel was an alien."
They all continue to talk to Lincoln and Lucy, they ask them questions if they're fine and what happened in the house and what they said to Howard and Harold McBride.
"Guys stop!" They all look to Lincoln. "Guys, we can talk about the angel and what we've been through next time. Right now, we wanna know where the heck Clyde is."
"He's in the school" replied Chloe. "Come on, I think he walked out of Huggins office earlier."
They all follow Chloe and soon enough, they see Clyde walking down the halls and dressed in his junior administrator uniform. "Hey guys."
They all go to him. Lincoln is the first to speak. "Clyde, about what happened yesterday…"
"No need to tell me Lincoln. My former dad's, they did this to themselves and I'm over it. The dad's I knew are gone now and are better off without me as I am better off without them. I'm glad I'm not their son anymore and that I found a new and better family" replied Clyde.
"Huh, we actually did forgot to ask you about that Clyde" said Rusty.
Lucy looks to them. "Seriously? You all waited for us to ask what happened, when Clyde was in the school and you all didn't bother to ask him and how he's doing?"
"Sorry, I guess we were too caught up with the whole angel thing" replied Joy.
"So, how is life with the new family Clyde?" asked Lincoln. "I wasn't really given any notification on who the heck the parents are."
Clyde smirks. "You guys know of the name, Nicole Davis?"
They're all trying their best to figure it out, even Lincoln and Lucy are trying to figure out who the heck is this woman, but one of them knows and is wide eyed. "Nicole Davis? The Nicole Davis?" asked Jenny Mulligan. "As in, the Mayor of the town, Mayor Davis?"
Clyde chuckles. "The very same beloved mayor of town and she's quite the nice lady. For a single mom, and also a strong parent figure, she can really shine when it comes to raising her kids and trying to be there for them."
They all remain silent hearing this. Lincoln and Lucy are shocked the most and have one thing on their mind. 'Luna and the others in hell are not gonna believe this shit!'
Clyde smirks at their looks. "Guys, I wanna answer all you wanna know, but we're gonna have to talk about this at lunch. Right now, I wanna make sure you guys aren't late for class with Mrs. Johnson, I need to check on the hall monitors for this week. See you guys later."
They all watch as Clyde walks off to go and check on the hall monitors, he then runs into Principal Huggins and they both talk about lunch for today, which is meat Mondays.
"Guys, is it me or does Clyde look like the son of the president when he walks?" asked Stella.
"Sure looks like it" replied Zach.
Then Simon Sharp goes to them. "Lincoln, I heard about what happened. Are you, Lucy and Luna okay? Also, what the heck are you guys looking at?"
(Lunch Time.)
At lunch, they all ask Clyde about what he has done with his new family. "So, what the heck is it like to be living in the room of the mayor of Royal Woods?" asked Jenny. They can see she has her phone ready for record and to Clyde, this is like some kind of interview for the local news.
Clyde chuckles seeing this. 'Jenny really is just like her Auntie Katherine Mulligan, sorta.'
"I'd love to answer that. I have two siblings, they're twins and both of them are two year's younger than me and were so happy to have an older brother to look up to. Caroline and Cory Davis are a nice bunch and always have questions for me for some stuff they wanna know, but I do my best to tell them things that they can understand and not all the information."
"At times I am quite helpful with my mom and it feels so good to have a mom, sure wish I had a dad. But this was okay, when the whole thing with my dad's went down, well former dads. I said one last goodbye to them, and I didn't look back because they got what they deserved for their crimes. I was adopted immediately and things went super well. My former dads weren't around to see that happening."
"The mayor brought me to her home and she showed me her kids and they were so happy to see me and I was so amazed by the place I was staying in, which is a hotel not too far from the Mayor's Town hall and the Park and I also got an amazing view of the School and Larry's Berry Bakery too. My room, wasn't as I thought it was since it hasn't been decorated, but starting tomorrow I am going shopping with my mom and little twins siblings to make my room look nice."
"It was adorable when Caroline and Cory came into my room and wanted to spend the night with me. I guess you can say we had our own little family sleep over and I did overhear my mom talk to someone about handling the punishment of my former dad's and chances they might be placed somewhere not too far from town. Possibly the Royal Woods state penitentiary."
"So, in short; life is good. No worries, and no troubles and it seems my allergies have been dealt with. Almost like having the dehumidifier and the humidifier have made me into a healthy kid, but I do have an issue when blowing a balloon and a few of my allergies remain. My mom has to send me to be checked cup by a doctor this Wednesday."
"What about breakfast?" asked Jordan. "How did that go?"
"I woke up early and I decided to make breakfast for my new family. My mom said that she's happy for this, but also told me that I can sleep in and I don't have to wake up early to do all of it. She said she was planning to make breakfast, even though she said she was impressed at how well I was when I was cooking a storm in the kitchen."
"I even brought with me some of the waffles I made this morning and get ready for the kicker guys. My mom was also thinking of signing me up for chef camp next summer, and I am so in it!"
"Wait. Chef Camp? You two?" asked Chloe.
Clyde is shocked to hear this. "Wait, you're going there as well? Wow! This is gonna be awesome!"
Lincoln and the others just smile and watch as Clyde and Chloe go back and forth and talk to each other about what they plan to do for Summer Campo at Chef Camp. They can tell those two are truly starting up something and chances it could be a romantic one.
Jordan then notices Lincoln's shadow is moving, but not in his way of movement. She can see this smile, a familiar smile from a certain demonic overlord, but she just shrugs it off thinking she's seeing things.
Soon, Clyde and Chloe stop talking and Clyde has his whistle. "Alright everyone, you all know the drill. Let's see who here wants to exchange their lunches to who."
They all begin to maneuver their lunch for lunch swap traffic and Clyde with the help of Chloe are doing well. Though some of them just got the food from the lunch lady.
Lincoln did trade his breakfast burrito for Jordan's Apple pie and Lucy traded her slice of black forest cake for Haiku's dark chocolate ice cream sandwich.
Then they all look to Lincoln and Lucy, they all wanna know what thing from them. "So, who the heck was that angel?" asked Artie.
"Yeah, and how the heck do you guys know her?" asked Polly.
Lucy looks to Lincoln. "He's the one who met her once, what happened yesterday was my first time to see her."
They all look to Lincoln for an answer and he chuckles. "Sorry guys, but that is a secret I can't tell all of you."
"Oh come on!"
(After School.)
They all walk out of the school and many students talk about what they're all planning to do for thanksgiving. Let it be here in town, or someplace else with other family members.
Then Clyde asks Lincoln and Lucy. "How the heck are you guys gonna spend you're thanksgiving anyway?"
"That one is something we need to talk to the rest of the family about" replied Lincoln. "We haven't even made the plan yet, but chances our parents have thought of it and we might have a discussion about it."
"Chances it's gonna be messed up and Blitzo would've had tons of food ready for everyone to enjoy. This should be interesting" said Lucy.
Just then, they hear Lincoln's phone ring. "Huh, looks like mom sent me a message, about an upcoming job and the name of our target and the client."
Lincoln and Lucy look to the text, but the others decide to head on home and leave them be. They don't wanna know what they're about to do next to whoever is about to get the murder of a lifetime.
But Clyde and Stella did notice something before they went back to their homes. The shadows of Lincoln and Lucy seems to be moving and seem to have a smile, like a certain demon they have seen before.
Target: Thomas Derangermanser – A fat cheapskate who not only killed the client's high bill, but also turned out to be a cannibal and grinded her body into food storage and is also the owner of a slaughter house in New Mexico. The locals of the town have no clue what the hell they have been eating.
Client: Lulu Caligray – A professional female stripper who was shot by her last client, when the client refused to pay and demanded something more.
Results: Bring in alive for the client to personally torture and kill. If possible, reveal his dark and vile cannibalism scheme to the people and have his reputation and everything he owns ruined, especially his idiot son who is as dumb as a brick for some stupid reason.
Lincoln and Lucy are wide eyed seeing this, and then Jordan sneaks a peek and is also shocked and she looks to the two of them. "Please get rid of that guy and put an end to whatever his operation is too."
"The heck we will do this" replied Lincoln and Lucy. Looks like it's time for a kill.
