Grandpa's Date

"Go on, Tommy, have at it!" Stu said, handing Tommy the remote, Chuckie watching nearby.

The baby looked over the clicker carefully, then back at his daddy. This was… odd. Normally his parents were very quick to take the clicker away from him the moment he his hands on it. But daddy wanted him to play with it? Why? Was it a trick… was this how they were going to turn him into a baby baby again?

Tommy pressed the clicker's button only to cry out as a beam hit him and he began to shrink down. He tried to get away but he couldn't walk anymore and he began to trip on his now saggy diapee and huge blue shirt. It was now like a blankie, it was so big!

"Perfect," his daddy said, picking him up, staring down at the whimpering boy. "Now I can turn every brave baby in the world into a tiny baby baby and make sure they never go on adventures again!"

"No!" Tommy cried out as he saw his daddy head towards his friends. He tried to warn them but now that he was so little again all he could say was "No! Go go!" His friends stared at him, confused, and by then it was too late! His daddy began to turn Chuckie, Phil, and Lil into baby babies-

"Its okay champ, you can play with this one," Stu said.

"What have ya got there, son?" Lou asked.

"I'm working on a switch that locks out the buttons on a remote so a baby can play with it without turning anything on. I'm using Tommy to test it out… if he can figure out how to use it then I need to go back to the drawing board."

"Stu!" Didi called out. "Time to go."

Later on, as Tommy and Chuckie were settling in to watch a movie, the phone rang and Lou answered it. "Pickles residence."

"Lou? It's me… Morgana."

"Morgana…" Lou whispered, remembering his lost love.

"I'm in town for the night and I wanted to stop in and see you… for old time's sake."

"Well..." he sighed, looking over at Tommy and Chuckie. "I'm babysitting tonight, so I can't leave the house-"

"Oh, I'll just come over."

Later on the two of them sat on the couch, Morgana having pulled photos out of her purse. "These are my sprouts," she said with a smile, showing Lou photos of her grandkids. Tommy was curled up on her lap, nearly asleep, and Chuckie was cuddled up next to Lou. "Are these little guys as adventurous as mine?"

"And then some!" Lou said with a soft laugh. "You know… back when we were barely older than these kids it would have burned me up to know you were with someone else. But now… I'm glad." He reached out and squeezed Morgana's hand. "I'm glad you found happiness."

"And I'm glad you found yours."
