Party Animals

Stu looked at the door before rolling his eyes and ringing the doorbell. After a moment Drew opened the door, smirking.

"Honestly I thought you would do something stupid like try and climb onto the roof."

"Hahaha," Stu said with a laugh that was anything but filled with humor. "Very funny."

"I thought so." Their argument forgotten the brothers walked back into the living room only to stop short when they saw that they had a few party crashers. "Tommy!" Stu exclaimed. "What are you doing up?"

Tommy blinked in surprise. Tarzan knew who he was? And he sounded kind of… familiar…

"Stu?" Didi said, walking over and spotting the kids standing on the bottom step of the stairs. "Aw, did we wake you up sweetie?" Didi asked, lifting Tommy up. The baby's eyes went wide as he realized what was going on, letting out a giggle as his mommy cradled him close. "Come on, lets get you tucked back in…"

Ten minutes later Tommy and his friends were tucked back in Drew and Charlotte's bed. Originally the parents had planned for them to bunk with Angelica but after she had tried to rip out Tommy's tooth all the parents had decided it might be best to keep the babies and Angelica apart for a while more, until the memory of that event went away.

"Nighty night sweetie," Didi said, giving Tommy a kiss on the forehead before making sure the others were tucked in. She switched on the nightlight again and walked out, shutting the door.

"Can you believe it guys?" Tommy said, staring up at the ceilings. "The grown ups were playing dress up!"

"I didn't know grown-ups could do that!" Lil said.

"Me neither."

"But why were they, Tommy?" Chuckie asked.

"Because its fun, Chuckie!" Tommy told him with a huge grin. "Just like how WE like to play dress up! I bet they are down there playing with toys and having fun too!" He couldn't believe it… he'd always thought becoming a big person meant that no longer being able to do ANYHING fun. But he'd seen his mommy and daddy playing dress up, just like he would. And they had their own tools and games… maybe growing up didn't mean not having fun any more. Just… a different kind of fun!

Tommy was going to suggest they go down to join them but… he was kind of sleepy. He yawned.

'Maybe… I'll just rest my eyes…'
