Chanukah

"Wow," Chas said. "Boris, your play made the front page of the entertainment section of the paper."

"Wonderful!" Boris said, looking over the photo. "Oh, and they got Shlomo's good side!"

"Whose Shlomo?" Chas asked.

"Only my best friend in the entire world! We've known each other since we were children, always helped each other out. Shlomo had a better eye at business than me… but then I was more dedicated to my family than making money."

"Uncle Shlomo was there for nearly every play and recital Ben and I had," Didi commented.

"It made him feel good, to be there for you kids," Minka said. "I think he always regretted never having children so you and Ben… you were like his children."

"He has helped us out so much," Boris said, "it was the least I could do. You know that Shlomo is the reason Minka and I were able to move to America? He decided to come and couldn't stand not having us with him!"

"And you never got jealous at how successful he was?" Chas asked.

Boris scoffed. "Why? I am successful too! I have Minka and two lovely children and little Tommy!" He reached down, having spotted the baby crawling into the kitchen, and gave him a tickle. "Life isn't about just money!"

"That's true," Drew said, walking into the kitchen with Stu. "I know that I make more than Stu but that doesn't mean I have a better life than him. Sometimes I honestly envy you, little brother. You get to be there for your family all the time."

"True but you have done your best. And you are whip crack smart."

"And you are creative," Drew said as he grabbed a potato pancake.

Tommy watched this all and smiled. He loved the fact that all the adults in his life were so happy! And they all were happy for different reasons and that was better! It was like when Chuckie had a new truck and Lil had a new doll! They were both happy and could share why they were happy and make everyone even more happy!

"That's the important thing!" Lou declared. "Look at me and my brother Bucky! I'm good at killing monsters and he is working on that island of his… he finds a way to be happy and so do I!"

"Mr. Hammond," Ray Arnold stated, "the raptors are acting up again."

John "Bucky" Hammond-Pickles sighed. "I'll call Lou to have him punch them again."
