Send in the Clouds
"I wish I had an aeroplane!" Tommy declared. "If I did I'd flies around the sky all day!"
Chuckie frowned. "I don't think babies can flies aeroplanes."
He meant well but after Angelica's comment about how babies couldn't do fun stuff Tommy saw Chuckie's comment as a challenge. "I so could flies an aeroplane! I bet I'm the best fliers in the whole world!" Spotting a glimmer of light in the sky and thinking it a star Tommy closed his eyes. "I wish I could be up in the clouds!
He suddenly felt himself lifted into the air. His wish! He'd-
"Time for your bath," Didi said to the disappointed baby.

The next morning the babies woke up to find fog surrounding them.
"My wish came true! My house is now an aeroplane!" Tommy said excitedly as he looked out the window. "Now we can fly all over!"
"But Tommy," Chuckie said, "you didn't wish for your house to be an aeroplane! You wished for us to be in a cloud."
Tommy's eyes went wide. "Oh no! You're right Chuckie… my house is trapped in a cloud!"
"How do we get out?" Lil said.
Phil frowned. "Maybe your mommy and daddy can help?"
Tommy though shook his head. "No! A big kid wouldn't ask for their mommy and daddy to help them out of a cloud and we big babies don't need to asks neither! We'll get out of here ourselves and save everyone!"
At that moment Didi walked in and smiled at the sight of the babies awake. "Aw, look at mommy's light sleeper." She kissed Tommy on the head. "I'm going to go for a jog… you have fun with your daddy."
As she left Tommy swallowed. "Oh no! My mommy doesn't realize we are in a cloud! We have to stop her!" The babies began to work together to get out of the crib; thanks to Didi tying the latch up though it took far longer than it used to for Tommy and his friends to escape. They did though and ran to the gate that blocked off the stairs, puzzling that out only to see Didi heading out the door.
"Bye Stu, I'll be- whoa!" Didi cried out as she closed the door. While her cry was because of her missing a step the babies were sure she'd just fallen!
"Tommy, your mommy just fell from the sky!" Phil exclaimed.
"What do we do?" Lil asked.
"I… I don't…"
"Stu, I'm headin' out!" Lou called out and Tommy began to rattle the gate in a panic.
"Tommy!" Chuckie wailed, "do something!"
"I…"
"Why did you make that wish?" Lil pleaded.
"I… I…"
Tommy threw back his head and sobbed, altering Stu where he was. And while he comforted him and later Tommy was overjoyed that his mommy was okay and they weren't in a cloud… he was still upset his only answer had been to sob like a baby.
