Journey to the Center of the Basement

"Well, this one will be a hard one for you," Trixie said to the blond creator, smirking as he looked over the script. "The toy got away through no fault of the babies. Chas was distracted by the phone call but that is understandable and not being a bad parent. And how were the babies supposed to let him know that their toy got in that crate?" She folded her arms over her chest. "Face it… for once if you interfere you will just make things worse. Chuckie will be miserable and might never get his toy again if you stop Tommy from going on an adventure."

Amenadiel frowned. "Are you… actively rooting for your grandson and his friends to risk their lives?"

"I feel bad for Tommy," Trixie admitted. "He just wants to go on fun adventures. Yes, sometimes he causes property damage or nearly dies-"

Melinda nodded. "And there is that lost episode where he caused France and Switzerland to launch nukes at each other when he visited that army base because he wanted to play with 'real life army men'."

"That but he's just a baby and he wants to have fun." She smirked. "So you have to let them go on this adventure…"

The creator though stared her down with a grin. "You'd think that…"

"Alright, so I got everything I need out of the basement last night… I'll look over the sink when you guys go take your nap."

Chuckie began to fuss and point and Chas frowned.

"What is it little guy?" he asked, picking Chuckie up and taking him out of the playpen. "Something wrong?" Chuckie instantly ran over and got Reptar Jr. out of the crate. "Hey, how'd he get in there!"

"…"

The creator smirked. "Ha. Ha. Ha."
