Chapter 1
(Near the Northern Air Temple)
Naruto and Will were walking along, and they were amazed at where they'd ended up. As soon as they'd appeared in this strange new world, Naruto had noticed that he could shoot wind from his hands, while Will could blast fire. They'd also noticed that all the animals were fused together somehow, and that they were named as a mixture of the two animals. They did notice a few animals that were normal, like what they were used to (they'd seen a few bears in a forest, some fish in rivers and even a few birds flying through the air.)
After learning that Naruto was now something called an Airbender, and Will a Firebender they'd travelled around this strange new world to see what they could learn. Along the way, they both learned how to use their new found powers (with many trials and errors). Naruto had also trained, so that he could use his Rasengan and Rasenshuriken with his new found Airbending powers.
They also found out that this world has been at war for the past hundred years, and that the Airbenders were pretty much extinct. And that apparently, the only one who could stop it was someone called: the Avatar, who had disappeared as soon as the war had started.
"Still can't believe we lost most of our abilities" Will grumbled, as they walked down a path towards the mountains.
"At least we can still wall and water walk, so that's good at least" Naruto said with a shrug.
"Don't forget your seals" Will said, grateful those still worked too.
Currently, they were heading towards where they heard one of the air temples were.
"I hope you have a plan to get through the mountains quickly, otherwise we may need more supplies" Will said, as they looked at the tall mountain in their path.
Naruto nodded, as he picked up Will bridal style and started to jump up the mountain, which was easy for him thanks to his Airbending to boost his jumps.
They soon reached the top of the mountain, with Naruto setting Will down.
"Give me some warning next time, will ya?" Will said, as she didn't mind Naruto doing that, but she liked to be warned first.
Naruto's backpack started moving, and a small fox poked his head out of the bag.
"Yea yea, sorry Kurama" Naruto said, as he shrugged his bag off and opened it up so that Kurama could hop out.
Kurama hopped out, and looked around and looked at Naruto with an inquiring look on his face.
"We are trying to find an Air Temple, and maybe try to find some information on Airbending," Naruto said.
"At least you have a chance of getting some kind of direction" Will said with a scowl, as she crossed her arms unhappily.
Kurama quietly snickered at this, as he knew the chances of finding a Firebending teacher was very low.
"Laugh it up furball" Will said, as she gave him a hard look.
Naruto ignored this, and took out a telescope, and looked out around them, since the top of the mountain was perfect for finding the air temple.
As he was looking through it, he noticed a flying animal heading in their direction.
"Find anything?" Will asked, as she took a drink of water from the canteen.
"Yea. It looks like the Avatar is heading towards the nearby Air Temple" Naruto said, as he collapsed the telescope, and put it back in the bag.
"Well, that kills some time" Will said, as she knew that eventually they would want to find the Avatar, and offer to help him end this war.
"OK Kurama, back in the bag" Naruto said, as he opened it up for Kurama to climb back in.
Kurama growled, as he hopped into the bag.
"I know you don't like it, but it's only until we reach the top buddy" Naruto said, as he closed it up but left a gap for some air to enter.
"Relax, I'll get you some meat later" Will said, as Naruto picked her up again and went back to jumping towards the Air Temple, while having to use some Airbending to make some really big leaps.
As they approached, they saw what looked like people with gliders, gliding around in the air.
"There are more Airbenders?" Will asked in surprise.
"No, look closer. They are gliding, not flying" Naruto said, as they approached the front of the Air Temple.
Naruto put Will down, and they looked around at the temple with wide eyes.
"Wow, this place is beautiful," Naruto said, liking what he saw.
Will smiled as she agreed with this. She then saw what looked like a bald kid, and a kid in a wheelchair racing on gliders. "I think the bald kid is an Airbender" Will said, as she saw said kid doing tricks that were really impressive.
"Oh yea, he's definitely an Airbender," Naruto said with a nod and a smile.
Soon, the Airbender and his flying bison landed nearby, and he noticed two teens that were obviously Water Tribe were in the saddle on the flying bison.
They watched the Airbender and the wheelchair kid talking, and as Naruto and Will approached, the wheelchair kid noticed them
"Are they with you Aang?" the wheelchair kid asked, as he pointed at them.
Aang turned to look at Naruto and Will, and he shook his head. "No, I don't know them," he said.
"Hey!" Will said with a smile, as they approached the group.
"Who are you two?" the male water tribe teen asked with a frown, as the female water tribe teen elbowed him for being rude, before she walked over to Aang.
"I'm Naruto, and this is Will," Naruto said, as he gestured at them.
Kurama poked his head out of Naruto's backpack, and jumped on his shoulder to take a look at everyone. "Oh, and this is Kurama," Naruto added, as he rubbed the fox's head.
"Why are you here? The names Teo by the way" the wheelchair kid said, as he held his hand out, which Naruto and Will shook.
"We wanted to meet up with the Avatar" Will said, which caused Aang to look at them with a tilt of his head.
"How did you know he would come here?" the Water Tribe girl asked curiously.
"We didn't, we were heading here, so I can learn a bit about the air nomads," Naruto said with a shrug.
Aang smiled at this. "Well I'm Aang, and this is Sokka and Katara" he said, as he pointed at the Water Tribe teens, when he said their names.
"Why would you want to know about the air nomads?" Sokka asked, as he crossed his arms.
Naruto smiled at this, and made an air ball in his hand, which caused them to look at Naruto with their mouths agape.
"If you guys don't close your mouths, flies might enter them" Will said jokingly with a smile.
Aang closed his mouth, and smiled brightly as he approached Naruto. "You're an Airbender? I'm not alone!" he said excitedly, as he enveloped Naruto in a hug.
Naruto smiled at this, and patted Aang on the back.
"So you're here to try and learn real Airbending?" Katara asked with a smile, glad that Aang wasn't the last Airbender alive.
Naruto nodded, as Aang pulled away from him with a massive grin on his face.
"Well, leave it to me! I can teach you!" Aang said, happy to teach someone for a change, instead of the one being taught.
Sokka looked at Will with a raised eyebrow, and asked her "What about you? Are you an Airbender too?"
Will sighed at this. "Not exactly" she said, as she made a small fireball in her hand, which caused Sokka to grab a boomerang from his back, and take a fighting stance.
"Woah! Hold it. She's on our side" Naruto said, as he got in front of her with his arms held out.
"How do you know?" Sokka asked him, as he kept his weapon ready.
"She's my girlfriend. So back off, or you're gonna get hurt" Naruto said, as he gave Sokka a glare.
Before Sokka could respond, Kurama bit him on the leg. This caused him to yell out, and fall to the floor. "Get it off! Get it off!" he yelled, as he shook his leg trying to shake Kurama off of him.
The others were watching this, as Sokka shook his leg, before he finally sent Kurama flying and he landed on Appa's saddle.
Kurama got up, and sniffed around and got into a bag, and when he came out he had some jerky in his mouth.
"Hey! That's mine!" Sokka yelled, as he stood up with an angry look.
Kurama smirked at him, and ran down Appa's tail before he ran off into the air temple.
"Get back here, you little fleabag!" Sokka yelled, as he chased after him.
"Wow, such a mature warrior" Will said flatly, as she folded her arms.
Katara sighed at this. "Yea, that's my brother alright" she said, as she rubbed her forehead.
"And that's Kurama" Naruto said, as even though Kurama couldn't talk anymore, he still was a smart ass at times.
What looked like a flying lemur flew over to Will, and landed on her shoulder, as he sniffed at her curiously.
"Hey little guy" Will said with a smile, as she scratched him on the head.
"That's Momo, and this is Appa," Aang said with a smile, as he pointed at them.
"If Momo likes you, that's a good sign," Katara said to Will, with her own smile.
"Glad to have someone with a good judgement of character," Naruto said with a grin.
"I'm sure that Sokka will learn to accept Will eventually. It's just that, we haven't had a lot of good experiences with Firebenders recently" Katara said, as she remembered Zuko, Zhao, the Fire Sages that wouldn't help them and a few of the soldiers.
"Say no more. I understand this war hasn't given Firebenders a lot of chances to make Firebenders look good" Will said, as she patted her on the shoulder.
"Well, Jeong Jeong was good. Harsh, but good" Aang said, as he remembered his temporary Firebending teacher.
"So, what brings you here?" Naruto asked Aang, with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, we heard rumors of Airbenders being here. But, that's not exactly what we found" Aang said, referring to the people living here.
"Well obviously, they are staying here because of the fire nation, right?" Will asked Teo, who nodded his head.
"Yea, but I'm worried they might be disrupting my people's temple," Aang said with a slight frown.
"I'm sure if you stay calm, you could find a compromise," Naruto said, as he could see both sides of this situation.
"I can introduce you to my dad, he's the leader here. I'm sure he will listen to you" Teo said.
"Get back here, damn it!" Sokka yelled, getting everyone's attention. And when they looked, they saw Sokka on a higher floor, chasing Kurama near a ledge.
"Sokka, be careful!" Katara yelled up to him in worry.
"Relax sis, I'm- woah!" Sokka yelled, as he slipped on a loose rock, and started to fall.
Before anyone could react, they saw Kurama send a tail at Sokka, and grab him by his leg saving Sokka.
This surprised Aang, Sokka and Katara greatly.
"He's a spirit?" Aang asked, as he looked at Naruto and Will.
Will scoffed at this, as she crossed her arms. "Nah, he's just gifted," she told him.
Kurama looked down at Sokka, as he finished his jerky and burped loudly at him, as he extended his tail and put him down next to Katara.
"Are you mocking me?!" Sokka yelled up at Kurama, who was snickering.
"Sokka, he saved you. I think that makes you two even, for him eating your jerky" Katara said, as Kurama jumped down, and ran over to Naruto and Will.
Sokka grumbled at this, but he said nothing as he knew his sister was right.
"Look, why don't you all explore, while I meet up with Teo's dad?" Aang asked.
"I can do that, as I wanna see some stuff about the air nomads. Since I'm an Airbender, I think I should know" Naruto said with a shrug.
"Yea, I wanna take a look at the machines around here. I saw some cool things while chasing that fleabag" Sokka said, as he stood up and dusted himself off.
Kurama stuck his tongue out, and blew a raspberry at Sokka.
"Hush you" Will said, as she picked up Kurama as they all headed inside the temple, to take a look around.

(A few hours later)
Naruto was taking a look at an Airbender library, and he found some interesting things.
"Anything good?" Will asked, as she looked over his shoulder.
"Yea, the air nomads were pretty cool. It's a shame I won't ever get the chance to meet them" Naruto said, with a sad look.
"Why are they all bald?" Will asked, as she noticed a sketch of a few Airbenders, with some bald and others still with hair.
"That's tradition apparently," Naruto said with a shrug.
"Does this mean you are gonna shave your head?" Will asked teasingly, as she lightly nudged him.
Sokka, who was nearby, laughed at this, along with Kurama who was snickering.
"Hush, the both of you," Katara said, trying not to giggle.
Before Naruto could answer, Aang came into the room with Teo. "Hey, how did it go with this dad?" he asked.
"He said he was willing to leave important things alone, and that we can talk later in his office, in a few hours" Aang said, with a happy grin.
"Good, I wanna ask him about some of his inventions" Sokka said, as he left the room.
"So, what do you wanna do until then?" Katara asked Aang.
"Well, you could teach me how to make a glider," Naruto said, as he wanted to have a go at gliding through the sky.
Aang smiled brightly at this. "Sure! Let's go!" he said, as he grabbed Naruto's arm and dragged him off.
Katara smiled at this, glad that Aang was so happy.
"So, you're a Waterbender?" Will asked curiously, as she wanted to break the ice with the Water Tribe girl.
"Yea. Me and Aang are hoping to learn from a master, at the north pole" Katara said with a smile.
"That's a nice couple activity" Will said with a smile, finding that cute.
Katara blushed at this. "No no, me and Aang aren't a couple," she said, trying to clarify things.
Will quirked an eyebrow at this. "You sure?" she asked, as she folded her arms.
"I think I would know. Why?" Katara said curiously.
"Well, I just figured because of the way Aang looked at you -" Will was saying, before she was interrupted.
"What do you mean?" Katara asked.
Will looked at Katara, bewildered. "You're kidding, right? He brightens up, just being near you" she said.
Katara blushed at this, but shook her head. "N-no, he doesn't" she said in denial.
Will chuckled at this. "Sure, ok" she said with a shrug, before she turned and walked off, with Kurama following after her.
Katara gained a thoughtful look, as she thought about how Aang acted around her. "Does he really have feelings for me? And if so, what does that mean for the future?" she thought to herself, as she left the library.

(With Naruto)
Naruto and Aang were in a room, with tools and cloths either hung up or laying around, where Aang was trying to walk Naruto through making his own glider.
"This isn't too hard, making seals is way harder," Naruto said, as he finished his glider.
"Not bad Naruto. The monks would be impressed with your design" Aang said, with a proud smile.
Naruto gave a smile in return, as they both admired his glider. It was about the same length and everything as Aang's, and had some orange stripes on it while the wings were also orange. Naruto had also put the Uzumaki swirl on both sides of the wings and tail.
"You wanna go outside, so I can give you some pointers on how to fly with it?" Aang asked him, with a cheerful smile.
"Sure, we can do that. But don't you have a meeting with Teo's dad?" Naruto asked, as he picked up his newly made glider and followed Aang.
Aang gave a shrug, and said "I can chat with him later" as they got to a ledge for them to jump off from.
Naruto gave a nod, and listened to Aang as he showed and told Naruto how to use his glider in the air.

(A few hours later)
Naruto and Aang were still flying around the air temple, and Naruto had gotten pretty good at flying with his glider. Aang had even shown him how to surf the air with his glider, which Naruto found cool. He'd tried to do it, but he wasn't able to balance himself enough to pull it off. He decided to get better with what he could already do first, before trying that again.
They soon saw Will and Katara waving at them, trying to get their attention.
"What's up?" Naruto asked, as they landed before them and folded the glider's wings away.
"We found something out when we went to see Teo's father, while looking for you" Will said, with a look of anger.
"Let's hear it," Naruto said, as he leaned against his glider.
"Apparently, Teo's dad has been making weapons for the Fire Nation, so they leave them alone" Will said, as she looked at Aang to see what his reaction would be.
Aang didn't look at all happy with this information.
"When do they arrive?" Aang said, with a tone of fury.
"Soon, according to Teo's dad" Katara said, with her arms folded.
"Then let's go greet him," Naruto said, with a look of calm anger.

(Teo's dad's office)
As Naruto and the others approached the door, they heard Teo's dad talking to someone.
"Follow me, I have the new weapons ready" Teo's dad said, sounding defeated.
Naruto kicked down the door to the room, and saw Teo's dad behind a desk with a yell of surprise, while a Fire Nation government official was on the other side.
"You're leaving with nothing," Aang said with a glare, at the Fire Nation Government official.
"The Avatar" the fire nation government official said in shock, recognizing Aang.
"Aang, don't do this," Teo's dad said in a pleading manner.
"Giving them what they want won't work, forever. Cause eventually, they'll make things better than what you give them, and eventually they'll kill you" Naruto said.
"And who are you?" the government official asked, with a raised eyebrow.
Naruto blasted him with some air, sending him to the elevator he came in on. "I'm an Airbender, with an attitude. So get lost, before you get hurt" he said with a glare.
The man got up, with a look of shocked surprise, as he stuttered out "B-but w-we eliminated all o-of you a hun-hundred years ago."
"Well, your Fire Lord is obviously sloppy. Now get lost!" Will said, as she fired a blast of fire at him.
He ducked to avoid being hit, and looked at her with a look of anger. "How dare you betray your own people girl! You'll live to regret this!" he yelled, as he got in the elevator.
"You aren't my people asshole, now get!" Will yelled, as she fired another blast, with this one being white from her anger.
The blast missed the man, and blasted through a window instead.
"W-white fire?!" the man stuttered, with his eyes wide in fear.
Aang swung his staff at the lever controlling the elevator, and sent the man down.
"Looks like you have some talent," Naruto said to Will.
Will smiled at this, glad that she actually had some talent for this.
"They will send an army now," Teo's dad said, as he sat down with his head in his hands.
"No, we can make a plan to stop them. We can use your brains" Aang said, with a look of determination.
Teo's dad looked at Aang, and saw that he believed he could do something.
He rubbed his hand on his chin in thought for a few moments, before he then got up. "Very well. If we're gonna be attacked, we're gonna make them work for it" he said, as he punched his fist into his palm.
He then turned to Will. "We actually have a few Firebenders here that have fled, so if you want one of them could give you a few pointers," he said, happy to help her.
Will gave him a massive grin, as she could only shoot small blasts of fire and a few big ones.
"OK, let's make a plan," Naruto said, as he rubbed his hands together.
"I'll get Sokka, he's great with plans" Katara said, as even though he was a non bender, he had great plans (even if some of them never worked out the way they wanted them to).

(The next day)
Naruto and the others were at the front entrance, with the teens of the temple getting their gliders and bombs ready.
"Are you ready to do this?" Sokka asked Naruto and Will, with a raised eyebrow.
"Yup. I got quite a few pointers from those Firebenders that live here" Will said with a smile, as she stretched herself out a bit.
"Good" Sokka said, nodding at Will, deciding to trust her.
Katara smiled at her big brother, glad he was giving Will a chance to prove herself.
"They're coming!" Aang yelled, as he pointed down the mountain, towards the marching soldiers, along with a few tanks.
"Get in the air now!" Naruto said to the teens, with their gliders.
The teens all nodded, and took off gliding, ready to drop bombs on the Fire Nation.
Sokka ran off into the temple.
"Where's he going?" Will asked curiously.
"He said he had a plan with Teo's dad," Naruto said, as he opened up his glider and flew down along with Aang.
Will nodded at this, as they all headed down the mountain to attack the Fire Nation. As they headed down, Will thought "Wonder what their reaction will be, when they see a few Firebenders fighting against them?"
Aang and Naruto were sending air blasts at the Fire Nation, sending several soldiers flying.
Naruto made a small air ball in his hand, and ran at a tank. "Rasengan!" he yelled, as he slammed it into the tank, which caused the tank to be blown away, when the attack exploded into a massive mini hurricane.
Aang looked at him with wide eyes, as he asked "Could I do that someday?"
"Sure, I'll teach it to ya. It's pretty much a mini air scooter, " Naruto said, as he spun his staff around, while knocking soldiers down with it.
Aang was smiling happily, as he used his staff to send waves of air at a group that were charging at him. "If you want, I could teach you how to use the air scooter in return" Aang told him.
Naruto nodded, as he said "Thanks, that would be much appreciated."
Will was blasting fire at the Fire Nation, while out maneuvering them easily.
"Jeez, you guys are predictable" Will said, as she kicked at a soldier sending him flying, as a white wave of fire slammed into him. Nearby, the Firebenders that left the Fire Nation, were also able to defeat those they fought against pretty easily too.
Katara was using her water bending to freeze the tanks in place, as the bombs started falling from above, which caused some of the tanks to get blown to pieces and even sent a few of the soldiers flying.
"Where the hell is Sokka?!" Will yelled, as she dodged a few blasts of fire, before she spun around as she fired off a wave of flames at them.
They then saw a flying red Balloon, with a Fire Nation insignia on it.
"There he is" Naruto said with a smile, seeing Sokka and Teo's dad in the balloon, letting loose giant stink bombs on the Fire Nation.
The Fire Nation soldiers covered their noses, and tried to not smell the odor.
Naruto and Aang jumped up, and slammed their gliders down, sending the soldiers and their tanks flying, with the tanks either ending upside down or on their sides.
Will looked up, and saw Sokka and Teo's dad, trying to throw their engine overboard into the caverns below.
"There's gas below us, get to safety!" Will yelled to everyone, as she spread her arm out to get them clear.
Everyone retreated back to the temple, just in time as there was a massive explosion.
Naruto and Aang saw the balloon carrying Sokka and Teo's dad, started to fall into the caverns below.
Naruto and Aang took off after them, and tried to make sure they got there in time.
As they flew over, Naruto grabbed Sokka and Aang grabbed Teo's dad, just as the balloon hit the caverns.
Naruto and Aang flew them back to the air temple, and carefully set them back down.
"They are retreating!" Teo yelled, pointing at the retreating Fire Nation soldiers.
Everyone started to cheer seeing this, glad that they won this battle.

(The next morning)
Aang, Katara and Sokka were packing up their stuff onto Appa, getting ready to leave, when Aang saw Naruto, Will and Kurama approaching them.
"What's up?" Sokka asked, seeing this as he tied the tent down.
"We want to go with you guys" Naruto said truthfully, as he leaned against his staff.
Aang smiled brightly at this, to show his agreement to letting them come along.
Katara also smiled, and nodded at this. "Of course you can come with us," she said. She then looked at Will, as she added "It'll also be nice to have another girl in the group too."
They all looked at Sokka, waiting for his response.
"What? Sure, they can come. Naruto is cool, and I know I can trust Will" Sokka said with a shrug.
Will smiled at this, as she could tell Sokka was sincere
"Wow, I'm impressed Sokka" Aang said with a grin.
"Yea, you're growing up" Katara said, as she gave a sniff and wiped a fake imaginary tear away from her eye.
"Ha ha ha" Sokka said sarcastically.
"And Kurama? What about him?" Naruto asked, as Kurama jumped onto Appa.
"He leaves my food alone, and we are cool" Sokka said, as he gave Kurama a glare.
Kurama shook his head at this, and blew a raspberry at Sokka.
Momo soon flew over, and landed next to Kurama, and started chattering at him.
"Awww, Momo likes him" Aang said with a smile, glad Momo was getting along with Kurama.
"OK, we are all packed. Let's get going, we are close to the North Pole" Katara said with a smile.
Naruto and Will got into Appa's saddle, and set their bags down.
Appa groaned at this, feeling the extra weight.
Naruto frowned at this. "Don't worry big guy, I got this" he said, as he took out a slip of paper and slapped it on the saddle, making a seal on it.
Appa groaned again, and seemed a lot happier.
"What did you do?" Aang asked, as he got on Appa and grabbed the reins.
"I made the saddle and everything in it weighs nothing to Appa" Naruto said, with a shrug as he leaned against the side of the saddle, with his hands behind his head.
"Are you a magician or something?" Sokka asked with wide eyes.
"No no, it's just a skill from my home," Naruto said with a slight shake of his head.
"Can anyone learn this?" Katara asked him.
"Hmmm, probably. But it will take hard work" Naruto said, as he rubbed his chin.
"Well, we can discuss it later. Let's get going, the North Pole awaits" Sokka said, as he pointed forward.
"Yip yip!" Aang said, as he shook the reins.
Appa groaned, and took off into the air with everyone at the temple waving goodbye.

(Fire Nation palace)
Fire Lord Ozai was in his throne room with his daughter Azula, when a soldier appeared at his door.
"My lord, we have news," the soldier said with a bow.
"Yes? What is it?" he demanded from the soldier.
"Another Airbender has been sighted with the Avatar" the soldier said.
"Another Airbender? Father, I thought that my great grandfather had wiped them all out" Azula said in shocked surprise, as she looked at Ozai.
"He did. The Avatar should be the only one" Ozai said, with a glare at his soldier.
"My lord, I have sketches of both the Airbender and the Firebender helping the Avatar" the soldier said, as he approached while taking the sketches from his pocket.
"A Firebender? What foolishness is this?" Azula asked with a glare.
"Y-yes, and apparently she can use white flames," the soldier said, with a look of fear.
Azula snatched the sketch from the soldier, and looked at it with a glare.
"White flames? That has never been done," Ozai said, as he stroked his beard. "Perhaps there is a Firebender your age, better than you Azula."
Azula growled at this, and glared at Will's sketch. "Nobody is better than me, especially some pesent with a ridiculous hair color" she said with a sneer, as she crumpled up the sketch. She then threw it up in the air, and fired a ball of blue flames at it, completely incinerating the sketch.
"And the Airbender?" Ozai asked with a raised eyebrow.
Azula looked at the second sketch, and her eyes widened slightly. "Hmmm, not bad" Azula thought with a smile, liking what she saw, as she ran a finger across Naruto's sketch.
Ozai saw this, and raised an eyebrow. "Interesting" he thought, as Azula had never showed interest in a man before

(A few days later)
A few days later, the group were in an arctic area, with lots of ice around them.
"Are we there yet?" Will asked in a bored tone, as she leaned back while looking up at the sky.
"I said a minute ago, no!" Sokka said, sounding annoyed. "What do you see in her?" he asked Naruto.
"I like a girl with a little attitude. What about you?" Naruto asked, curiously with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh please, the only girl he's kissed is our gran gran" Katara said with a snicker.
"I have kissed a girl!" Sokka yelled out, as he crossed his arms with a scowl.
"I call bull" Will said, as she looked at him.
"It's true, tomato head!" Sokka yelled, as he narrowed his eyes at her.
"Oh yea, who was it?" Naruto asked with his arms crossed.
"She was from the Island of Kiyoshi" Sokka said, as he gave a fond smile.
"Wait, Suki?" Katara asked, surprised.
"Yup" Sokka said with a smile.
"Well, you better treat her right then," Naruto said to him.
"The first time they met, he said that girls shouldn't be on the battlefield," Aang said with a grin.
"Hey! I apologized to her" Sokka said, as he crossed his arms unhappily.
"Good. It take's a real man to apologize and admit they were wrong," Will said with a nod, as she could respect someone who admitted they were wrong.
"Oh, and don't forget that she beat him in a fight," Katara said, as she giggled at the memory.
"Hey, I learned a lot from her," Sokka said, as he pouted at his sister.
"Good, learning from mistakes is how a warrior should be," Naruto said with a nod.
Suddenly, the water below them lifted up, and grabbed Appa making him fall into the water.
The water around Appa soon froze instantly, as several boats came into view.
"It's the Northern Water Tribe!" Katara said with a smile, seeing the Waterbenders on the boats.
"Finally" Will said, glad they finally made it.

(Later)
The group were soon being escorted to the front gates of the Northern Water Tribe.
"Wow, this place is beautiful" Will said, as the gates lowered thanks to the Waterbenders
As they were escorted into the city, Naruto took notice of a boat with a Water Tribe woman with white hair. "Wow" he thought, finding her very pretty.
Will noticed this, and looked towards where he was looking, as she then smiled at this. "Nice" she thought to herself.
They soon arrived at the royal palace, where a man in royal robes was waiting for them in the royal chambers.
"Welcome to the Northern Water Tribe, Avatar Aang. I am Arnook, chief of the Northern Water Tribe" the man said, greeting them.
"Royal rules?" Naruto whispered to Katara, wanting to know the situation.
Katara nodded at Naruto and Will, as her, Aang and Sokka bowed their heads in respect at Arnook.
"We are glad you have decided to visit us, Avatar Aang. Please tell me, who are your friends?" Arnook said, looking at the others.
"These two are Sokka and Katara, from the Southern Water Tribe" Aang said, as he pointed at them.
"Ah, it's very nice to see fellow Water Tribe. Welcome to our tribe" Arnook said, as he nodded his head at them.
"And this is Naruto and Will, my newest friends," Aang said with a smile.
"And what do they bring to your group?" the Water Tribe woman with white hair asked curiously.
Naruto stepped forward, and made a ball of air between his hands.
"Another Airbender?" the white haired woman asked, with surprise on her face. This caused all the Northern Water Tribe to gain either looks of shock, or surprise at seeing this.
"Indeed, miss?" Naruto asked, asking for her name.
"This is my daughter, princess Yue," Arnook said, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Nice to meet you, your majesty," Naruto said, as he put his hands together like Aang taught him, and bowed his head.
Yue smiled at this, and turned to Will. "And what do you bring to the Avatar's group?" she asked curiously.
Will frowned at this, as she looked at Naruto and her friends, not wanting to cause trouble.
Naruto, Aang, Katara and even Sokka nodded at her, showing they had her back.
Will took a breath, and slowly let it out as she held her hands up, and made fire appear over them.
"Fire Nation!" a teen boy, around their age yelled, as he grabbed a spear and charged at Will.
Before he could attack, Will dodged and tripped the teen and held her open palm at his face, threateningly.
"If I wasn't on your side, you would already be dead you idiot" Will said, with a glare.
"Hahn, stand down!" Arnook yelled, as he stood up from where he was seated.
"But your majesty, she's -" Hahn was saying, before he got interrupted.
"My friend," Aang said, with a glare at Hahn.
"And my girlfriend," Naruto siad, with his own glare pointed at Hahn.
"Indeed. If the Avatar vouches for her, then that's all we need to know. And I won't tolerate anyone attacking her. Is that clear?" Arnook asked everyone there.
Will let Hahn go, and he fell to the ground, and grumbled as he left the room.
"We will have a feast tonight, to celebrate you all arriving, and my daughter's 17th birthday,'' Arnook said, as he clapped his hands together.
"Thank you for your hospitality," Aang said, with a grateful bow.
"Lets not forget though Aang, you need a Waterbending master to teach you how to Waterbend" Sokka added, just to remind him why they were there.
"Ah, I can introduce you to a master at the feast, if you wish," Arnook said with a smile.
"Sounds good to me," Aang said with a smile.

(Later that night)
Later that night, Naruto and his friends were sitting at the royal table, as food was brought out and Waterbenders showed off their skills to the people there. Kurama, Appa and Momo were off to the side, as they ate what the chefs offered them.
"Wow, they are pretty good," Will said with a grin at the performing Waterbenders.
"Have you never seen Waterbenders before?" Yue asked, as she sat next to her father.
"Not at this level of skill" Will said, as she remembered Irma. "I wonder if Irma would have ever been this good with her water powers?" she thought to herself.
"So tell me, are you a master Firebender?" Arnook asked Will curiously.
"No, but I'm on my way, thanks to the complete set of scrolls I got from some fellow Firebenders that fled the Fire Nation," Will said, referring to the Firebenders back at the Northern air temple.
Yue nodded at this, and looked at Naruto curiously.
"Yes?" Naruto asked her, with a raised eyebrow.
"Sorry, it's just that I have never seen someone with your or Will's hair color before," Yue said.
"Yea, I have never seen hair that color before either. Is that normal where you're from?" Arnook said curiously.
"It's actually pretty common back home, but let's just say it's pretty much impossible to end up there, unless it's a special circumstance," Naruto said.
"Perhaps you could tell me more about your home, while you're here?" Yue asked him.
"Of course your majesty" Naruto said, with a slight bow of his head at her.
Yue smiled at this. "Please call me Yue," she said kindly.
"Man, does he always attract girls that easily?" Sokka whispered to Will.
"Believe it or not, he does it without trying," Will said with a smile, remembering how they met.
"You're not mad?" Katara asked, as she ate from her plate, before helping herself to her drink.
"Nah. I'm bi, so I'm cool with it" Will whispered to Sokka and Katara.
Sokka choked on his food, and Katara spat out her drink upon hearing this.
Will laughed at this, as their faces were priceless to look at.
"What's bi?" Aang whispered cluelessly to them.
"Don't you dare" Katara said firmly to Sokka and Will, as she gave a glare to reinforce it.
"Avatar Aang, come meet master Pakku" Arnook said, getting Aang's attention.
Anng got up from his seat, and walked towards where Arnook was.
"You're no fun," Will said with a mischievous smile.
"I don't need you scaring him," Katara said, as she placed her hands on her hips.
"Aww, you're protective. That's so cute, to be so protective of someone that's not your boyfriend" Will said with a snicker.
"Wait, when did this happen?" Sokka asked, as he looked from one to the other in surprise.
"It didn't!" Katara said with a blush.
"Really? Huh, I thought that fortune teller said you would marry a powerful bender one day" Sokka said, with a grin slowly forming on his face.
"That's the last time I confide in you" Katara said, with a scowl at her brother.
"Powerful bender?" Will asked, with a knowing smile on her face.
"Can't get more powerful than the Avatar" Sokka said with a grin.
"I hate you both," Katara said with a blush.
"Love you too sis" Sokka said as he laughed with Will as they high fived.

(The next day)
Naruto and Will were outside in an arena, where currently Naruto was trying to help Will practice Firebending.
Will was doing some backflips, and firing several blasts from her feet in quick succession.
"Not bad for someone without a master," Will said, as she gave a triumphant grin.
Naruto smiled, as he looked at one of her scrolls. "Hey, look at this: Lightning is part of Firebending" he said, as he showed it to her.
"You're kidding," Will said, with an excited smile as she looked over the scroll.
"Why not give it a try?" Naruto asked.
Will looked over the scroll. "Looks like this requires complete focus, and peace of mind to achieve it" she said.
"You are a top notch swimmer, that takes a lot of focus right?" Naruto asked her, as he crossed his arms.
Will nodded her head, before she took a breath and let it out slowly as she took a stance, and started to do the moves for summoning Lightning.
A spark started to form on her fingers, and when she pointed into the sky, she fired a blast of lightning which made a loud crack of thunder sound off, which got the attention of everyone who heard it.
"Not bad" Naruto said with a nod, as he gave off a smile.
"Are you kidding? My hair is standing up!" Will yelled, pointing at her hair which was all puffed up, like an afro.
"Then get better" Naruto said, as he tried to not laugh at how Will's hair looked.
"What are you doing?!" Hahn yelled, as he ran over while holding a spear.
"Relax, I'm practicing," Will said, waving Hahn off.
"You should show me proper respect," Hahn told her.
"Why? You haven't done anything, but annoy me and be an asshole" Will said, with a glare at him.
"And respect is earned, not given," Naruto added with his own glare.
"I don't need to hear advice from someone, from a practically extinct people," Hahn said with a sneer.
Will growled, as she walked towards Hahn and took his spear, and slammed the butt end into his gut.
"Say something like that again, and I'm keeping it,'' Will said, as she stabbed the spear in front of him.
Hahn groaned, as he got up and started to leave.
"You need to get better control of your bitch" Hahn said to Naruto, as he started to leave the arena.
"The hell you calling me?!" Will yelled, but Naruto stopped her as he placed a hand on her shoulder, while shaking his head slightly at her.
"OK, me and you, right now," Naruto said with a glare, at what Hahn said.
"You want an honor battle?" Hahn asked, as he turned around and gave Naruto a raised eyebrow.
"Whatever, as long as me and you fight in front of others, so they can see how weak you really are" Naruto said, as he and Will walked out of the arena, with Naruto picking up the spear.
"Fine! I'll go tell Chief Arnook" Hahn said, as he turned and ran off.
As Naruto and Will left the arena, they saw Yue approaching
"Your majesty," Naruto said, greeting Yue with a slight bow of his head.
Yue frowned slightly at this. "I told you to call me Yue," she said, placing her hands on her hips.
"Right, sorry….Yue" Naruto said with a nod, and smiled at her.
Kurama popped out of Naruto's hoodie, and jumped down before he walked over and sniffed at Yue.
"Awww, he's adorable" Yue said with a smile, as she knelt down and gave him a scratch on his head.
"Don't let the looks fool you, he's a mischievous one" Will said with a grin.
"I have read that some foxes are pranksters," Yue said. "So, how are you enjoying the Northern Water Tribe?" she asked, as she stood back up.
"Liking it so far, at least until that as -" Will was saying, before Naruto poked her in the forehead.
"Watch it, cussing is seen as an insult to some royals" Naruto berated her.
"But he is one, especially for what he called me!" Will said with a frown, as she crossed her arms with a huff.
"What happened?" Yue asked with a frown, as she folded her arms.
"That jerk Hahn showed up, and called me… the B word" Will said, censoring herself.
Yue's frown got deeper, hearing this. "So sorry, I'll try to have him apologize" she said.
"No need, me and him are settling this later," Naruto said.
"Yea, that jerk said something about an honor battle" Will said, as she gave a nod.
Yue's eyes widened at this, but she then blushed brightly and looked away from them, as she played with her fingers.
"What's going on?" Will asked curiously, as she gave a tilt of her head.
"Yea, you ok?" Naruto asked, placing his hand on Yue's forehead.
"I'm fine! Look, I'll tell my father about this honor battle, and a messenger will alert you later, with when it will be" Yue said, as she ran off.
"Something is going on," Naruto said, as he crossed his arms.
"Yea, you may need to look up what an honor battle entails" Will said with a nod.
"Well, I'll do that later tonight. I want to go check on Aang and Katara, to see how their Waterbending training is going" Naruto said.
"Ah, OK. I'll go look it up for you then" Will said, as she started to walk towards where the library was.
"Are you worried about me?" Naruto asked her with a raised eyebrow.
"Nah, you could beat that guy easily," Will said, as she kissed Naruto on the cheek, and then walked off.

(Royal palace)
Will was approaching the royal palace, when she saw Arnook leaving the palace with Yue.
"Hey Chief Arnook!" Will called out, as she approached them.
"Ah miss Will, is there something you need?" Arnook asked her, as he folded his arms behind his back.
"Yea, I'm assuming Yue told you the situation with Hahn?" Will asked him.
Arnook sighed, and nodded at this.
"I want to know the details about the honor fight," Will said, as she crossed her arms.
"Well, it's pretty self explanatory actually. Both fighters fight 1 on 1, until one surrenders or is thrown out of the ring, and no bending is allowed" Arnook told her.
"Really?That's all? Geez Yue, there was no need to be so nervous" Will said, as she placed her hands behind her head.
Yue blushed again, and looked away from Will.
Arnook chuckled at this, while shaking his head.
"Am I missing something here?" Will asked them, as she looked from one to the other.
"If Hahn loses, he loses the right to marry Yue, and that's given to Naruto" Arnook said.
Will's eyes widened at this, but she then smiled and started to laugh.
"Oh man, please don't tell Naruto. I can't wait to see his reaction" Will said, as she held her sides.
"Y-your not mad?" Yue asked her.
"Nah, he's one of the last Airbenders after all" Will said with a teasing smile. "And he'll need a few more future wives, in order to bring them back," she added.
Yue went atomic red at this, and started to stutter as she fiddled with her fingers.
"Well, if Naruto does accept this, he will need to make a betrothal necklace" Arnook said
"Betrothal what now?" Will asked with a raised eyebrow.
Yue showed Will her necklace. "It's traditional for the Water Tribe males to give their intended wife a necklace that they made themselves," she said.
"Wow, Hahn didn't do that well with yours" Will said, as she shook her head at the necklace's design.
"Yes, Hahn is…. difficult," Yue said, with her eyes cast downwards.
"He's a jerk, and you deserve better than that. Who the hell arranged that guy to marry you anyway?" Will asked, as she gave a frown.
Arnook sighed at this. "He was the only good enough candidate around Yue's age" he said, as he ran his hand over his face.
"Well, at least your reason isn't that bad. But still, that's pretty backwards. Isn't she allowed to choose for herself?" Will asked.
"I would like that very much, but traditionally -" Arnook was about to say, before Will interrupted him.
"Screw tradition. If you feel it's wrong, then change it. You're the chief, right?" Will said.
Arnook stopped, and his eyes widened slightly at this. "My people may not like it, if I throw away traditions" he said to Will.
"I'm not saying throw them all away, I'm saying adjust some to adapt for modern times. If you don't, eventually it's gonna blow up in your Tribes face" Will said with a shrug..
Arnook nodded at this. "You have given me much to think about," he said, as he rubbed his chin.
"Glad I could help. Look, I gotta go tell Naruto about all this. See you later Yue" Will said with a smile, as she bowed slightly to them.
"No need to bow Will. I have a feeling you will be considered family soon enough" Yue said with her own smile.
Will laughed at this, as she gave a nod. "Yea, get your bets in now. Naruto is gonna make Hahn beg for mercy" she said, as she left to go looking for Naruto.
As they watched Will leave, Arnook looked at Yue. "So, Naruto is ok with you then daughter?" he asked her, with his arms crossed.
Yue blushed lightly, but she nodded at this.

(With Naruto, at the inn)
Will entered the big room that her group was using, and saw that everyone was upset. "What'd I miss?" she asked, as she sat on a couch.
"Master Pakku won't teach Katara," Aang said, as he sat on a window seat.
"That jerk says girls are forbidden to learn to fight, and that they're only good for healing," Katara said with a scowl, with her arms crossed while sitting on a big pillow on the floor.
"Ah, so Sokka but much worse" Will said with a slight nod.
"Hey! I don't think that anymore, so watch it" Sokka said, as he gave Will a glare.
"Well, I have information on this honor fight thing" Will said, as she looked at Naruto while giving him a teasing grin.
"Oh great, what is it?" Naruto asked, not liking Will's smirk.
"Get this: you win and you become Yue's fiance, instead of Hahn" Will said, as she gave a laugh.
This got several reactions from the group.
"Ha! You're getting married. When's the bachelor party?" Sokka asked with a laugh, as he slapped his knee.
"Well, you're a step up from Hahn. But doesn't Yue have a say?" Katara asked.
"Are you kidding? She's over the moon at the idea" Will said with a massive grin.
"So, what's your plan Naruto?" Aang asked, as he leaned forward.
"I'm gonna kick Hahn's ass, and deal with this later," Naruto said, as he rubbed his head.
"Better make a betrothal necklace too, while you're at it" Will said knowingly.
"A what?" Naruto asked her.
"Engagement ring, only a necklace" Will said, getting to the point.
"Hope you can craft" Sokka said, as he put his arms behind his head.
"Yea, a princess deserves the best," Aang said teasingly, while giving a nod.
Kurama snickered at this, finding this amusing to say the least.
"I don't need commentary from the peanut gallery, thank you very much" Naruto said with a huff, as he crossed his arms and turned his head away.
"You should probably get to know her, if you're gonna go through with this," Katara said thoughtfully.
Naruto nodded at this, as he wanted to actually marry her for love and not because of tradition.
They heard a knock on their door, so Naruto went to answer it and saw a Water Tribe woman on the other side.
"Yes?" Naruto said, as he folded his arms.
"I'm a messenger, here to tell you that the honor duel is tomorrow at noon," the woman said.
"Thanks for telling me," Naruto told her. The woman gave a bow, and soon left as Naruto closed the door and walked back to the others.
"Not a lot of time to prepare," Aang said, as he leaned against the wall.
"Please, this guy will be easy," Naruto said with a smirk.
"You aren't allowed to use bending," Will said.
"Like I will need that" Naruto said, as he raised an eyebrow at her. "And did you forget who I am Will? I'm quite the hand to hand combatant" he added.
Will approached, and poked Naruto in the forehead. "Don't get overconfident, anyone can beat you if you aren't careful. You taught me that" she said.
"Good point Will. Don't worry, I'll be careful against this guy I promise" Naruto said, as he took her hands in his.
"Good, I want you unharmed," Will said with a smile.
"So, any advice on what we should do about this old guy, not wanting to train me?" Katara asked everyone.
"You could always fight him, and show him you're not a weak little girl" Sokka joked, which caused Katara's eyes to widen.
"Good idea," Katara said with a smile.
Sokka looked at her with shocked eyes, saying "I was only joking, I didn't think you'd actually agree."
"What, you're afraid I will get hurt?" Katara asked, with a raised eyebrow as she crossed her arms.
"Of course I am. I'm your brother, and it's my job to look out for you" Sokka said to her.
"Yea, but I'm sure Katara can handle this" Aang said, as he gave her a reassuring look.
"Besides, if this guys a master, I'm sure he knows how to not hurt someone," Naruto said, as he leaned on the couch.
"Well, let's get some sleep. You both have a fight tomorrow" Sokka said with a sigh, as he rubbed the top of his head.

(The next day, at noon)
Naruto and his group arrived at the arena, outside the royal palace and saw Chief Arnook, Yue and Hahn waiting for them.
"Surprised you showed up," Hahn said with a sneer.
"Like I would let you off, after insulting Will like that" Naruto said with a glare.
"Oh please, she's just a woman who cares?" Hahn said, as he gave a dismissive wave of his hand.
"OK, I have had it. Let's do this already" Naruto said, as he cracked his knuckles before he did a few stretches.
"OK, now remember you fight until one of you surrenders, is knocked out or thrown out of the ring" Pakku said, as he stood in between them to show he was the referee.
"Are you sure you're not gonna be biased?" Will asked Pakku, with a raised eyebrow.
"I am a man with honor," Pakku said, as he stood tall.
"A sexsit with morals, that's a new one" Will said snidely, as she, Aang, Katara and Sokka went to sit down.
Pakku scoffed at this, and ignored her as he turned to the arena to referee the match.
"Remember, no bending," Hahn said with a smirk, as he stretched himself.
"Like I will need it" Naruto said, as he took a stance and looked at Yue, who smiled at him.
"Begin!" Pakku said, as he stood off to the side, with his arms behind his back.
Hahn charged at Naruto, and threw a punch which Naruto easily caught.
"Let go of me, you -" Hahn was saying, before Naruto judo flipped him, and slammed him hard on his back, onto the arena floor.
Hahn yelled out in pain, as he tried to get up, but Naruto placed his foot on his neck, to keep him down.
"I don't like picking on weaklings, so surrender, before I decide to hurt you even more," Naruto said, as he applied a little pressure.
"I don't answer to you!" Hahn yelled.
Naruto sighed at this, and removed his foot from his neck and let Hahn up.
Hahn charged at Naruto, but he expertly dodged and grabbed him again, and this time threw him out of the arena, into the fountain nearby.
"Naruto wins," Pakku said, as he walked into the arena and raised Naruto's hand.
The crowd cheered at this, finding Naruto's skills to be most impressive.
Yue smiled at this, glad that Naruto won.
Naruto turned to look at Yue, and smiled at her, but what he didn't notice was Hahn getting up, and pulling a knife from his sleeve.
"Hahn!" Arnook yelled, seeing him charge at Naruto, with the knife aimed at his back.
Before Hahn could do anything, Will blasted him in the side of his face, with a ball of white fire.
"Arrrggghhh!" Hahn yelled, as he fell to the floor screaming in pain, while holding his burnt face.
"You're lucky I didn't kill you, you piece of trash" Will said, as she glared at Hahn.
Arnook soon approached Hahn, with a look of anger and disappointment. "He will wish you had killed him," he said, looking at Hahn.
"What are you gonna do to him?" Aang asked curiously.
"For trying to do this, he will be banished from the Northern Water Tribe" Arnook said, as he said it loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Banished?! For this?! He's just an outsider!" Hahn yelled out, as he stood up while holding a hand over his burn.
"Well, this outsider beat you easily," Naruto said, as he crossed his arms.
Hahn turned to charge at Naruto again, but he was instantly encased in water which soon froze, trapping him.
"That is enough of that" Pakku said, as he walked over with his hands in front of him.
Yue approached Hahn, and threw her betrothal necklace at his feet, then turned away from him.
"Don't you turn away from me!" Hahn yelled, enraged.
"Take him away," Arnook said, as he turned around with a wave of his hand.
Several Water Tribe soldiers nodded, and took Hahn away.
"I'm glad you're ok," Yue said, as she walked over to Naruto.
"I would have been ok, Yue. You don't need to worry so much, '' Naruto said to her reassuringly.
"Hey, she's your fiance now. It's her job to worry about you" Sokka said teasingly, which made a few people in the audience laugh.
Katara approached Pakku, with a look of determination on her face. "I challenge you to a fight" she said, which caused many to gasp in surprise or shock.
Pakku scoffed at this. "Go back to the healing hut, where you belong" he said as he turned to leave.
Katara scowled at this, as she made a water whip and swung it at Pakku, hitting him in the back of his head hard.
The audience gasped at this, as some of them muttered amongst themselves.
"Fine, you want to fight, watch carefully," Pakku said, turning to look at Katara with a firm and hard look.
"Hold it!" Naruto said, as he stood between them with his arms held out.
"If you're gonna fight, then you need to make it fair, since you're a master," Naruto said.
Pakku looked at Naruto, and after a moment he nodded. "Very well then. If she gets in a solid hit on me in 5 minutes, she wins and I'll train her" he said.
"Deal," Katara said with a nod.
"Technically, she already got a hit in," Will said with a snicker.
"Yea, how's your head?" Sokka asked with a slight laugh.
Pakku scoffed, as they all cleared the arena for the fight.
"Fight!" Naruto said, as he raised a hand up.
Pakku made a wave of water appear from the ground, and surrounded him and Katara.
"Do you think she has a chance?" Sokka asked, as he looked on in worry and concern.
"Of course she does," Aang said, with a confident smile.
"She's facing a master, lover boy" Will said, giving him a slight nudge.
"Skill means nothing, if he is overconfident," Naruto said, as he crossed his arms.
"Yea, if Katara can last long enough, she can get a hit. But, only if he keeps overestimating her" Will said, as she gave a nod of agreement.
As the fight continued, Katara made an ice table and started throwing discs of ice at Pakku, who kept blocking them.
Katara threw a final one, and as it flew at Pakku, she made a water whip and smashed the dish, sending ice shards at Pakku.
Pakku covered his face to block, and made a bigger water whip, ready to attack Katara with it.
"The match is over!" Arnook yelled, getting everyone's attention.
"No! I'm not done yet" Katara said, as she gave Pakku a glare.
"Relax Katara, you won," Naruto said, as he walked over.
"How?" Pakku asked, with a raised eyebrow as he made the water whip fall to the ground.
Will tapped her cheek. "She cut your cheek with those ice shards, old man," she said with a smile.
Pakku tapped his cheek, and saw he was bleeding a little.
"Watch him get mad, and say it doesn't count," Sokka said.
Kurama nodded, as he agreed with him.
Pakku looked at the blood on his hand, and looked at Katara. But, he then smiled a little.
"Not bad, for someone who has no master. Very well, I will train you" he said, as he put his arms up the opposite sleeve and gave her a bow.
Katara's eyes widened, and she smiled at this and bowed to him, glad she earned his respect.
Aang and Sokka went to check on Katara, as Naruto approached Pakku. "I'm surprised you're taking this so well," he said, as he gave Pakku a curious look.
"I'm a man of my word. Plus, perhaps it is time I gave more women a chance to prove themselves" Pakku said, as he gave a small smile.
Yue's eyes widened at this, and she took a step towards Pakku, but stopped as she hesitated.
Naruto quirked an eyebrow at this. "You a Waterbender?" he asked curiously.
Yue looked at Naruto, and nodded slowly.
"If you want to learn to Waterbend, then ask Yue. It's OK to speak up" Naruto said, smiling at her.
"Indeed princess. If you wish to learn, all you have to do is ask" Pakku said to her.
"I-I want to learn to Waterbend" Yue said, with a look of determination.
"Very well. Just know that you and Katara won't get any special treatment" Pakku said.
Katara looked over at him, and said "I'd expect nothing less."
"Me too. I want to be strong" Yue said, as she nodded in agreement.
"Good. Naruto likes his woman strong" Will said, with a smile as she threw an arm over Yue's shoulders.

(In a certain Earth Kingdom town)
A blind Earthbender teen girl was practicing in the mountains, and she sneezed as she sent a boulder flying into the side of the mountain.
"Huh, someone must be talking about me" the teen girl said, before she shrugged her shoulders and continued practising, for her next match at Earth Rumble.

(3 weeks later)
Naruto and his friends were watching Aang, Katara and Yue practice Waterbending.
"They are getting pretty good," Will said, from her seat next to Naruto.
"Yea, I'm surprised at how much progress Katara has made," Naruto said, with a slight nod.
"Yea. My money was on Aang making the most progress of them all" Sokka said, as he ate some jerky with Kurama.
"Aang is doing good, but he's not as determined to reach master level" Naruto said
Will nodded in agreement, while adding "And as he's the Avatar, this is almost like revision for him, as his past lives are maybe helping him in some way."
They then noticed what looked like black snow, starting to fall from the sky.
"Oh no" Sokka said, as he got up.
Katara scowled, as she too recognized this.
"What is it?" Aang asked them, as everyone stood together.
"The Fire Nation is coming" Katara said, as she and Sokka looked out to the sea.
"How do you know?" Will asked curiously.
"The ash from their ships, mixes with the snow that falls," Sokka said with a frown.
They then heard what sounded like horns going off, alerting everyone.
"Looks like it's time to prepare for a fight," Naruto said, as he saw Water Tribe members running off to prepare for the fight.
"Appa! Aang yelled, as he ran to his animal friend.
"What are you up to?" Naruto asked him.
"I'm gonna go try and stop as many Fire Nation ships as I can," Aang said, as he hopped on the sky bison.
"Not alone, arrow head" Will said, as she and Naruto followed after him.
Kurama was about to follow, but Naruto stopped him. "Sorry buddy, you're not as strong as you used to be. So stay here, and keep Yue safe" he said.
Kurama growled at this, and slammed his tail on the floor in protest.
"Don't worry, I'm sure that when they arrive, you'll have plenty of them to 'play' with" Will said to him with a grin.
"Plus, we know you will get stronger. So you stay here, and protect the others" Naruto said.
Kurama growled again, but nodded as he ran over to Yue, and jumped on her shoulder.
"Yip yip!" Aang yelled, ready to go..
Appa groaned, as he took off into the sky.
"Woah," Will said seeing, all the Fire Nation ships after a few minutes of flying.
"That's a lot of ships,'' Aang said with worry.
"Yea…. let's break them," Naruto said with a grin, as he unfolded his glider and jumped off of Appa and flew towards the ships.
"Wait for me!" Aang said, as he grabbed his glider and followed after Naruto.
"Follow them, ok buddy?" Will asked, as she climbed to Appa's head and grabbed the reins.
Appa groaned in agreement, following after them.
