So, this is an event from which we also know from the Casagrandes, the time has come to celebrate what they call... The day of the dead, but does this even count for those from hell? Well, no clue. Let's see what the hell is gonna happen next. Enjoy reading this new chapter folks, and a Happy Day of the Dead my good friends, Happy November 1.
Helluva Loud Adventures.
"The Day of the Dead."
(November 1. Great Lakes City.)
We now go to the Casagrandes Apartment and we see the familia is setting everything up for the whole event, and Carl has been ordered to make a nice trail of yellow flowers, and Vark follows him to make sure he doesn't get lost or do anything stupid, but then he goes back inside to eat some Tamales.
Inside, Vaggie is helping the familia with the decorations and this all reminds her of the good times she had when she was in the world of the living, and she always missed those good times, the times she never got the chance to see or grow up into. Vaggie then goes over to Rosa and she asks her about the ancestor of Rosa and what the man did, and she is surprised about the ancestor of Hector.
"This man was with Pancho Villa? Are you kidding me? That's the man who sent his men to attack America and killed a lot of folks on a train. Along with taking back the territories such as the state of Texas."
Hector remains silent, and so does Carlos. CJ is shocked to hear this and so is Carlota. They're grandfather from long ago was working with a man who waged war on America in World War 1's times. They had a lot to ask about this, a whole lot of stuff to ask about, and Hector has to tell them.
Lincoln is talking with Ronnie Anne and Sid as they are at the firescape and the trio are talking about something about this day. "Sure is nice of you guys to celebrate the Day of the Dead" said Lincoln. "I don't think we do that in my family, though we would visit graves of our families from the past, sometimes."
Ronnie Anne nods. "Everyone else has an odd way to honor those lost before, especially... Lola, we're sorry that happened, Lincoln."
Lincoln sighs. "Yeah, I know. We're gonna take the chance to see her, soon. Possibly next year, the day of Lana's Birthday, which is the time when... The time since Lola won't be around. Things are calming down, but we're all trying to heal, it is not easy."
Sid then goes over. "Take it easy Lincoln, Adelaide kinda went through the same thing when she lost Froggy, and she got over it when she knew that he was in a better place, and as long as she remembers him..."
"Then those memories will never fade away" said Lincoln, he then looks to the sky. "Lola might be gone, and away in a better place, but we will always remember her and never forget the memories we shared, the dang good memories."
This makes them happy to know that he's doing his part, to never ever forget the sister he lost. Then Ronnie Anne asks. "Hey, does the Day of the Dead count for hell?"
Lincoln thinks about this and he is confused. "Huh, I don't really know. Perhaps when I get back home, I can ask the others and then I'll tell ya."
Ronnie Anne nods and smiles. "Sure is nice to see you here, we like having some outside folks come and get to know this holiday we have, a dang good one involving the traditions that my Abuela wishes to uphold and make sure it goes on, it's nice. Especially with a sinner like Vaggie here, she knows what we're all about."
Lincoln smirks. "Dang right, also sorry we can't stay here long for the whole party. We have our own thing to do back home and I gotta be prepared for whatever else is coming."
Sid nods. "Hey, we understand Lincoln. You have your own stuff and business and we have ours." She then has these thoughts inside of her. 'When we do get older, I wanna know how awesome Lincoln could be in bed. From what Jordan told me, that dang deal with Christina sounds awesome and hot, I really wanna get to know him more. He's cute, cool and wicked hot, dang I am growing up.'
Then they hear Rosa calling them. "Vamanos, kids. We're going to take the photo now."
Ronnie Anne chuckles. "Well, we should go now and take a photo. You wanna join us, Lincoln?"
Lincoln shakes his head in denial. "No thanks, you two go on ahead. I think I wanna hang out here for a while and do some hard thinking." Ronnie Anne and Sid nod, and they go back inside to take another large family photo for the Day of the Dead.
Lincoln takes the time to think about what has gone down since last year. 'Lola is gone, and she's not coming back. Everything is so hard, and different now. We need to try and get over her demise, and try to move on with our lives, but not forget who she was long ago. We all need to find some peace, especially Lana. Lola meant so much to her.'
Lincoln then looks to the clouds in the sky and he smiles. 'Lola, wherever you are... I hope you're doing fine, and we will always remember you, we love you so much, little sister. Always.'
(Silva Hound House.)
The day is still looking good and it is almost late in the afternoon, and right now the portal from Great Lakes City opens and walking through is Lincoln and he opens the door and he looks around and he sees Loona on the couch going through her phone, Blitzo drinking some coffee and Luna finished with fixing her guitar in the living room.
Luna places her guitar back into the case and she is the first one to notice Lincoln is back in the house. "Hey bro, so how was Great Lakes City?"
Loona sees her son and she turns off the TV. "So, anything happen while you were there? Did Vaggie head back home?"
Lincoln smirks. "Well, after the small party, Vaggie went off back to the Hotel to keep helping out, and well... The day of the dead thing they have seemed pretty fun, and I gotta know... Does the day of the dead matter to those in hell?"
Blitzo answers that one. "Not really. Unless you're from fucking heaven, then chances you can come down and be able to see the folks who are honoring ya, and if you're in fucking hell, well good luck getting your soul free to go and check on earth, but to do that... Well, you gotta try and bypass the fucking soul barrier all around the fucking rings of that bullshit place."
Loona nods. "He is not wrong, Lucifer wouldn't allow it and neither would the assholes who made that whole stick law. The Day of the Dead is not a usual hell thing and no fucking way is hell even the land of the fucking forgotten, that place is somewhere far from where we're from, another hell."
Lincoln thinks about this. 'So, there is another hellish land. The land Lucifer rules is not the only hell alive and around, there are other hells and...' They then hear Loona's phone go off and they go over and see what this is all about and it's from Delilah, they got another gig to initiate soon.
Client: Dorothy L. Clorrin – She is a rebellious teenager who has done a lot of wrong, and she has even attempted to run away from home and almost go for drugs, but she didn't do that and was just some depressed teen away from everyone. Her body was found, raped and left by the side of the school.
Police believe someone from the school did this, but who? They also need proof of who did this.
Target: Randall M. Mankin – He is the man in charge of the school, he is the principal and he is also very secretive. He raped someone and that someone is Dorothy L. Clorrin, because she found out something he did that he never revealed. He is responsible for squandering the school's cash for his own wants and needs and not to benefit the school, and he also raped a supermodel in their town in Miami.
Results: Have everything he did be revealed, find the proof and then let the law get him, and when that is done... Capture and send him to hell, to be tortured by the client, she is located at... The Sharps and Bloody Store.
Loona is surprised to see this. "Well, shit. Looks like we gotta fuck this guy up. We need to know if Moxxie and Millie got this." Loona then uses her phone to contact the two other imps about this.
Luna then looks outside the window. "Dudes, the in the hell is Carl Casagrande doing outside the house?" They all look outside and they see that the kid is outside, and his bag of flower petals is empty and he looks around trying to figure out where the heck he is.
Blitzo sips his coffee. "Did he walk all the way here, dropping flower petals on the fucking ground?"
(Moments later.)
Lincoln is in his room, night has fallen and he looks to the old photo album of back when they were a big family. He sees the good moments, even when he was a baby and with the family from long ago who were once large and loud.
Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn Jr, Lucy, Lola, Lana, Lisa, Lily, Rita, Lynn Sr, Pop-pop, Gramps, and the pets, all of them together until the day came that Gramps had to leave for his work as a fisherman, and also the day they lost a family member, their old pet goldfish.
Lincoln sighs and he thinks to himself. 'All of this, it all began when the whole bad luck ordeal started and it broke apart all of us and kept us from each other. We were casted out, and we didn't even know what the hell were we gonna do. We are all nothing but different people, and yet we see each other as family.'
He then sees the photo of Rita and Lynn Sr and he is angry at that one. 'Well, we see some of us as family. Shit, we need to know what the heck is going on with Lynnard Loud, and perhaps soon... One day, we need to know how Gramps is doing. Hell, I don't even know if he is aware about what's gone to shit in this whole fucking mess.'
Lincoln then puts the photo album away, into the box under his bed. Lincoln gets up and he opens the door and closes it, and then he checks his big sister, and he sees Luna is fast asleep and she's got her guitar nearby, and this makes him smile.
Lincoln then sees the bedroom of his mother, his hellhound mother Loona and she is asleep, Lincoln walks inside and he closes the door, he then turns into his hellhound form and he goes onto the bed and he lays down next to her and he scooches closer and hugs her.
Loona opens her eyes and she sees her son, whimpering and hugging her, and this makes her smile and she pulls him close to her. "We're alright, kiddo. We're here for you, all of us. I'm here, always."
Lincoln smiles and he soon calms down in the warm and furry embrace of his mother, Loona Silva Hound. Deep down, even though their family was torn apart, they're still together and still as one, and right now, still family even if one of them is no longer with them on earth or hell.
To be continued in the next chapter folks!
A/N: Looks like Lincoln is feeling like checking on some old blood, blood from a family he didn't wanna get involved, but who knows when that's gonna happen, and it seems like they got a dark principal to take down tomorrow too. Leave a review and tell me what you all think folks!
