A/N Thomas and Percy's Mountain Adventure's, as the episode was called in my country, the basis of this one. I decided to have it split because I wanted to have Thomas comforted by his driver when he's sad.

Hey, it's me, Thomas and I shall tell about my friend Percy and me, when we had an adventure. Percy had a bigger role in some of this story than mine, so he tells some of it.

If someday you should see me puffing happily along the line, I may be on my way to a village nestled deep in the heart of the island of Sodor. One November morning, I whistled to all my friends.

"It's nearly Thanksgiving and I'll bring you lots of letters and parcels." My homeland doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving, but someone from across the pond on holiday to Sodor told me about Thanksgiving, which I told my friends about.

But then, an early snowstorm came. The island was covered with thick snow. We engines found work difficult. Some had to help clear the snow and ice from the track and workman hacked away at the frozen banks of ice. Percy and I were collecting important mail for Thanksgiving. I hoped I wouldn't have to clear snow and ice, as I quite disliked my snowplow. Maybe it's uncomfortable because, as a tank engine, I'm smaller than some engines. I'm still not fond of it, but I tolerate better than I did when I was younger. I guess time just helped me get used to it.

"Driver says there's lots of mail for the village", I said. "I'll need an extra car for it all."

Percy was feeling left out. "It's not fair, you're not leaving any mail for me.". I was about to assure him he could take the other mail, but there was no need.

But Percy's chance had come.

"There's been a change of plans," said Driver. "Sir Topham Hatt needs us at the big station. Percy, you are to take Thomas's train to the village."

Percy was delighted, but I was sad. "I won't be able to say happy thanksgiving to all my friends."

"Don't worry," said Percy kindly. "I'll do it for you."

"It's not the same," I sighed.

Seeing Percy leave made me need to cry. Driver comforted me, including verbally as he dried my tears with a cloth. After cheering me up, he said it was time for us to go to the big station. Now, Percy takes over for a while, as this is when he was going to the village.

Hey, it's me, Percy. My friend takes back over after I tell of my trip to the village.

I was making good time on my way to the village when suddenly...

"What's that?" called Driver.

There ahead was a fogman by the line. He was holding a red light.

"The village is cut off by the snow", he shouted. "We need snowplows, workmen and a helicopter. Leave your cars on the sidings and go back quickly."

I was soon steaming to Harold's airfield.

"Peep! Peep!" whistled Percy. "Wake up, lazy-wings, the mountain villagers need your help. They're stranded."

"Will help," replied Harold. "I like an emergency to keep me warm." And he buzzed away.

"Now," I sighed. "What's next?"

Suddenly, there was Thomas with Terence the Tractor and a works train.

My friend now takes it back now.

"Come on, Percy," I whistled. "Follow me."

We two engines battled our way through the snow. At last, we reached the village. Harold was already there, busily dropping food for Thanksgiving dinner to the people below.

Terence got quickly to work. "Lovely stuff," he said as he pushed the snow aside.

"Well done, Percy. Well done, Thomas," cheered the villagers. I remembered my friend's mail train.

"Percy, I just remembered. Your mail train is still back at the siding, isn't it?" Because it was for my village friends, I wanted to make sure they got it.

Percy hurried back to fetch it.

Just then Toby arrived with Henrietta. "We've brought lots of hot drinks and food for the villagers," he whistled.

That night, all us engines had gone back to our sheds (except Toby). The villagers had made a plan to thank us engines. They loaded paint pots and parcels into Henrietta and then set off through the moonlit countryside. All us engines were fast asleep in our sheds as Toby ran silently into the yard. He had no idea what the villagers were going to do, but he knew it was a big surprise. When the engines woke the next morning, they could not believe their eyes. The sheds had been repainted and decorated. Us engines whistled in delight and everyone agreed it really was a happy Thanksgiving.

A/N Season 4 episodes are coming after this, which a fan told me's her favorite season. Shout-out to selinapersaud84. The cry scene was for my FanFiction buddy who likes Hurt/Comfort. Chapter 57 was a duplicate, so old readers can go back and read the correction.
