The city lights brightened the darkness. It was unlike Gotham, where power was knocked out in many parts of the city. It made Owlman wonder if Gotham can share what this city has. Putting those thoughts aside, he looked up to Luthor's old building. Soon to be sold away. Raising binoculars, he saw no other way than the obvious paths. Roof or ground floor. Aiming the grapple up high at the spire on top. Speeding up, he felt the thrust of the wind blow against his face. When he reached the end of the wire, he leaned on the spire. Observing the area, he found no guards. Dropping down, the masked hero crept to the security system panel. Luthor was paranoid and prideful.
Only trust his own tech. But thanks to Kane, the hero had studied the system. Connecting a wire into the system panel, the Owl typed in command codes into a miniature computer pad. Experimental, but hopefully it holds up to the hype. First he hit the alarm system. Disabling it while making the security center appear to be in control. Next was the cameras. He made them record for several minutes, then played it on a loop. Unplugging the wire, he opened the rooftop door.
His steps were silent as he marched down. Listening for the slightest squeak of a door. He eyed each floor number, counting them down. Reaching floor 101, he turned on Thermal. Counting five bodies. One in the floor's security desk. Four guarding the computer system. Grabbing the adhesive pellets, he tossed them to the lower and upper stairway. Creating a wall, blocking route one and two for security.
Walking in, he made no sound. Slipping through the hall unseen. Leaning at the corner, he grabbed a few smoke pellets. Peeking over, he threw them into the desk. A cloud engulfed the guard. His chair went back as he staggered up, tripping over the chair. The vigilante rushed into the smoke, seeing the thermal signature of the guard. A jab to the throat made the man clamp his neck from the painful strike. The Owl went for the pressure points. Knocking the guard out.
Throwing two adhesive pellets at the elevator, he blocked security path three and four. Turning to the other hallway, he threw one last pellets. Sealing him onto the floor. Dragging the unconscious guard away, he grabbed an explosive gel spray. If the schematics were correct, then the last four guard who separated by the computer room glass. There was no stealth left. Spraying the gel on the wall, he backed away. Exploding the wall. Shocking the guards. Charging in the room, he threw an owlarang at the furthest guard.
The vigilante's fist slammed into the closest guard as the weapon struck the target's shoulder. Alarms started to blare. He grabbed the guard and slammed him into a desk, knocking him out. As the wounded guard try to draw their sidearm, the Owl descended upon him. Slamming their face into the wall. Three guards down. Two left. Walking over to the four-inch ballistic glass, the last two guards had their sidearms drawn at the door. The secondary defenses were already active, putting another three inches in between the Owl and the computer.
Placing a small cylinder on the first glass door, he didn't back away. Listening to the high pitch sound, shattering the glass to the guard's terror. Midair, he grabbed the device, deactivating it. As he walked across the glass shards, one guard grabbed his radio. Issuing a warning. But the Owl placed the device on the second set of doors. When the glass shattered, he rushed forwards, grabbing one guard's arm, snapping it to a horrific crack. A scream filled the room. He pushed the guard aside, rushing to the second. As the man fired his weapon, the Owl reached for their head. The brute force of the bullets impacting the Kevlar weaved armor. He slammed the guard to the ground, face-first into the glass shards.
When the fight was over, the first guard stared at the vigilante. Fear in his eyes. Owlman walked over to an access terminal, inserting a floppy disk. He began a download of everything Lex has. With alarms going off, the crook Lex would send his pet to stop the intruder. The vigilante doesn't have time to spare. As he waited for the download, he walked over to the shattered the door. The guard crawling away, fearing his life. Relief sweeping him as the Owl grabbed the device. Deactivating the sound. As he walked back to the terminal, the sound of a sweeping breeze caught his attention. Turning, the Owlman met the Superman.
"We can do this the easy way or the hard way." Superman said. The Owl glared at his opponent.
He slipped his hands behind his cape, the superhuman unaware. As the Meta walked closer, the vigilante tossed a canister behind his opponent. His mask seal off the sound as the device activated. A high pitch whistling sound brought the superhuman to his knees. Taking the short advantage, he grabbed specialized pellets from his belt. Superman sped over to the device, crushing it. Turning back, the Owl. The vigilante flipped an oxygen mask on, slamming the pellets to the ground.
Unlike his normal smoke pellets, these are laced with lead. And can last longer in the air. Ever since the Daily Planet's interview with the Man of Steel, the Owl prepared himself in case he had to fight the Superman in Gotham. Turning on Thermal, he could see his foe, while the opponent can't use their X-Ray vision. Hiding through the computer system, he watched as the superman try to wave away the smoke. While his steps were silent. He checked the download progress. It was almost complete. As Superman got closer, the Owl stepped back, watching his opponent. In frustration, the superhuman smash into a computer.
"What do you want?" Superman asked, surprising calmly.
The Owlman slipped past the superhuman, getting to the console. Thanks to the damage, he had to remove the floppy disk. Giving Superman a direction. The superhuman sped over, grabbing the suit, lifting him off the ground.
"Not going to ask again. What are you after?" Superman asked. Owlman managed to get the disk, securing it in his belt.
He had little options. Grabbing the small device. Activating it, the superhuman let go of the Owl. Before his opponent could grab the device, he tossed it away. Superman crushed the device, but the vigilante rushed out of the room, leaving no sound. But Superman sped in front of the Owl. He was running out of tricks.
"Stop. Just stop." Superman said.
"Sorry, but I can't. There is a threat on the horizon. You should know about that."
"You're talking about the attacks." the superhuman said, folding his arms.
"There were five attacks. The first one was at Kane's facility in Gotham. I stopped it, learned about the enemy. A large blue being." Owlman said, peeking the Meta's interest at the final words. "You know what I'm talking about."
"Two tried to launch an ICBM at Russia. I stopped it before any life was lost." Superman said, landing softly to the floor.
"They weren't human. Not even Meta. Like you."
"What makes you think I'm not human?"
"You history, powers, and the opening of the possibility of alien life. Which is why I need this intel. To find out if Lex has any information from your history relating to these attacks."
At that, the alien chuckled. It set the vigilante unease.
"Good luck with that. We're still trying to piece my history together."
"I suggest you keep on ear out. They could strike anywhere. Wanting to trigger a war." Owlman warned before walking past Superman. The fight was over and both knew learned something new.
Central City, Kansas, United States of America

No matter where Eddie was, people gathered around him. Wanting photos, autographs, and to ultimately meet the 'Flash'. The detective couldn't even enjoy his lunch without a crowd gathering. As he tried to eat a pork tenderloin sandwich. The traditional sandwich of Kansas. Smiling as he shook hands, acting all cheerful. But that's all it was. An act. Kids asked him questions, not about being a cop, but a superhero. This is what he dislikes the most about his powers. No one sees him as a cop. Just the superhero.
When he got a moment, he finally had time to eat. As he took a drink of his Root Beer, he spotted four black vans drive by the little dinner. Cursing in his mind, the CCPD officer sat the food and drink down. Placed a fifty on the table and put his mask up. Speeding out, he observed the small convoy take a turn. Stopping at the corner, he watched as they parked in front of a row of stores. No one left or got in the vans. Something wasn't right.
Then the pops of gunfire echo behind him. He sped around to see four men armed with Uzis. Ammo boxes inserted into the guns. He took to the flank, faster than they could even move. Disarming them, flipping them over. Zip tieing them, he scanned the area. A single shot breached the silence. Time slowed down to him. A bullet caught his eye. When it got to him, he grabbed the round, stopping it. Looking at the rooftops, he spotted the sniper. Now trying to escape, Eddie raced through the building to cut them off. When he got to the roof, the shooter was slowly running. Grabbing the M24 rifle, the detective slammed the barrel into the shooter's face. Knocking them down.
"Who are you?" Eddie asked, putting cuffs on the shooter. But a boom caught his attention. Looking over the edge, he saw a rocket speeding towards the roof. With his speed, he got himself and the shooter out of the blast radius. Their ears were ringing, but the detective speed down to the street. Finding a wave of bullets speeding towards the building he was exiting. Going through the wave, he dodged, jump, and ducked away from the rounds. There was a platoon of gunmen, all being put down by him. In quick movements, all of them were zip tied. Secured.
As he pat them down, a thunderous sound broke the silence. Turning, the detective saw a man wearing a silver helmet unleashed a wave of bullets. Eddie grabbed and redirected as many rounds as he could. Reaching the shooter, he ripped the heavy M60 from their hands before punching their helmet. As they fell, the detective zip tied their hands. Taking off the helmet, revealing a bloody face. Not a a life threatening injury. Patting them down, he found nothing. Just like the rest. Leaving him with more questions.
Republic of Rhelasia Airspace
11:58 AM EST, June 7, 1992
It has been seven years since he's flown in Earth's atmosphere. Since Koa escaped his home. When for the first time in his life, he was free. He had expected to see endless jungles under the moonlight as he got closer to South Rhelasia, but he never expected to see the lights of cities raining across the South of the Peninsula. It was just amazing. He had thought North Rhelasia would be more advanced, but looking over to the North, he saw darkness. Kilowog was right. Earth has changed.
"Attention aircraft. You have entered restricted airspace. Identify yourself." a local radio signal ordered. Scanning the sky, the Lantern spotted nothing. Beleivng it's from the ground, he decided to respond.
"This is Green Lantern Koa Seeha. Number 3596." he responded.
"We need actual information. Identify yourself or we will fire." At that the Lantern created a shield wall below him.
"Yeah try it." he warned. Seconds later, the ring alerted him of incoming radar.
In mere moments, he was able to create most of shield bubble when a missle hit. The force knocked him unbalance. Letting two fights sped past him. Part of him wanted to blast them, but they didn't know about the Corps. It wasn't there fault. Diving down, to confuse radar. The fighters swerved trying to intercept in vain. At least that what's he thought. More missiles trailed him. Aiming back, he fired a wave of blasts trying to destroy the munitions. He was successful but the pilots kept up the chase. Despite the low attitude.
This chase reminded the Lantern of battleing Ro's eighth fleet. He didn't expect anyone on Earth could have such technology. Flying into a canyon, the fighters trailed above firing a burst at him. Despite rapidly creating a bubble, rounds tore through him. A sheer burning pain ripped through him. He needed to finish this fight. Firing a single blast, he tore off the left wing of the fighter. The pilot ejected while the second fighter dove for an attack, firing it's guns. The Lantern fired another blast. The pilot dodged the attack, firing a missile. Koa created a bubble before losing his balance. Crashing into the canyon. The fighter sped away in victory.
The Lantern stood up, created a cast around his wounds, putting pressure on them. For now he was going to walk. At least until the pain is too much. Then he'll go in the air. He wanted to find a village. A place where the military wouldn't search until he is healed. What surprised him was finding what appeared to be a city in his eyes. Not from his galactic perspective. But from his Earth eyes. He remeber training in Keloh. The large city was the center of all North Rhelasia. It gleamed brighter than anything else in the country. But this city infront of him was hopelessly smaller than Kelph.
Cautiously he walked into the city. This part was lined with a near endless amount of what appeared to be houses, but these are bigger than he expected. Crossing another street, car lights shined on him. Clenching his fist, he prepared for a fight. He expected this vehicle being either military or elite with guards. What surprised him was a woman in strange lose clothes. Nothing military nor guards elites would wear.
"Hey you alright?" she asked.
"I could use a place to rest." he confessed.
"Get in." the woman said, surprising him. No one in the elites would help a uniformed man. It appeared things have changed.

Karter's ship was low on fuel, power cells, and it's systems were flooded from the glades. But it was all Shayera had to work with. The Fed would be watching her usual place for hiding. Watching those who would help her. Fortunatly for her, she is an excellent mechanic. It was her first assignment in Thanagar's military. As she pulled power from all of the power cells into one cell, she wondered if what happened on the B-52 is what put the Feds on her. She had told them what happened. There was recorded evidence of what happened. There wasn't a need for them to hunt her down. Tearing the charged cell out of the engineing wall. Plugging a exposed power wire into the cell, she hoped it would power the ship. Just enough to survive and regroup.
To her glee, the ship powered on. Gently placing the cell against the wall, she climbed out of the cramped room. Sliding down the slimpy floor, she reached the flood bridge. The water reaching her knees. Sitting in the damp seat, she noticed a alert on the consule. Pressing in commands, it began to play.
"Emek. Freok hend. Srenl oup." an alien voice said. The onboard computer translated the distress call from a dialect the Thanagarian thought was just a myth. Daemonite. Emergency. Crash landing. Requesting aide. Was the call. With cordinates along with it. She chuckled seeing that it crash only a few states over.
Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany
3:07 PM EST, June 7, 1992
The day has been silent. There wasn't anything for Diana to fight. She watched the area from the roof tops, waiting for Triton's warning to come true. Gripping her sword, her mind went to the past. The last time she was in Germany, the Allies erased the German Reich. Back then she was a rumor. Still is. That was the last war with a purpose. Everything after it was just vain slaughter. Feeling the leather of the handle felt off. She was use to a peaceful life. Now she returns to war. For the sake of the world, she will draw her sword one last time.
As she waited, a blue glow shined at a nearby fountain. Watching, she counted five men exiting the short lived glow. If they were like the ones who attacked London, then it won't be a easy fight. Jumping down, sword drawn, her foe didn't see her. Grabbing the shield from her back, it's metal unnatural cold. She charged slicing one man's chest. Stabbing a second in the back. Two kill attacks. The third man slapped her throwing her back. Her boots slid against the brick ground, coming to a slow stop. Looking back at the enemy, the lead man walked to the Gate while four beings came out of the men. Liquid metal encasing their strange bodies with armor and weapons on their wrists.
Raising the shield, she blocked the enemy's rounds. As they struck the metal, she took note at how different these weapons were. They heated the shield, pushing her back. Using all her strength, Diana marched forward, slowly. The heat starting to burn her arm. As she got closer, the Amazon spotted a red glow from the corner of her eye. Looking over she saw the lead man standing infront of red symbols in the air. Two of the blue beings standing next to him. That is the reason why they are here. That is her target.
"Hera, give me strength." Diana prayed. She has said that prayer well over a thousand times. Never feeling anything. This time a rush of energy went through her. A sense of power.
Trusting her instincts, he leaped forward with her new strength. Swinging the sword through one of the being's neck, cutting it clean off. The second tried to swing at her, but she dodged, slicing one of it's legs. It fell to the ground, shouting in pain. As its leg began to regrow, she cut off it's head. Two were killed. Turning to meet the last few enemies, a whisper echo in her mind.
"The gift of gods flow through you veins." a voice said. She didn't understand it, but let her body react.
Crossing her bracelets, a charge of lighting burst from her. It struck the enemy, launching them off the ground. The large being's liquid metal dissolved, leaving the last human man amazed. They did little as she plundged the sword into the relic they stole at the museum. The red glow faded as the relic dropped to the ground. The remaining foe retreated into a new blue glow. Diana didn't chase, knowing it would futile and risky. But this battle was won.

Lies were a tool. If in the right hands, it could bring down empires or control the powerful. This is what kept Lex in control os so much. Using this tool to grow his wealth, power, and control. Outmanuvering his oppenants, getting rid of the ones who threaten him. But unpredictable events is threatening those lies. His control is in danger. Waiting up to the dark, he thought of the plans he made so long ago. There wasn't a chance of someone overhearing him. Despite Kal's powers, the businessman had protections for himself. What he didn't expect was something opening the trailer's door. A green gold unifromed man greeted him.
"Colonel McIntyre. What a pleasure." Lex said, standing up.
"I need to talk to Superman Luthor." McIntyre said. The businessman straightened his suit.
"I'm not his keeper Colonel. If he wants to talk to you he will." The Colonel slammed his fist into the desk, surprising Lex.
"I'm not in the mood. Tell me where Superman is."
Knowing that this Meta was getting agitated, Lex folded his arms behind him. Pressing his sleeve cuff, deactivating his protections for now. Realesing a high pitch signal. Chucking he walked around the desk. Putting his face up to the soldier's.
"Do not threaten me. Superman is his own man." he said. The Colonel glared at the businessman. Each trying to figure the other out. Before either knew it, a rush of wind tore through the trailer. Knocking Lex to the floor while the Colonel was taken outside.

Superman tossed away the hauler that was thrown at him. His oppenant floated in the air, sending vehciles and supplies at the man. For each attack, he melted the equipment. Losing patience, he burst into the air. Tackling the man dress in green. Crashing into a nearby tower, he let the attacker go. His eyes began to glow red while the green man's hands glowed a purple haze. Neither one made an offensive.
"I'm not here to fight. I want to talk." the man said. Superman regonized him. Triumph.
"What do you want?"
