After it first arrived on earth, Nosy had been more than happy to stay safe and secure in the Hub while its new friends came and went, getting on with their jobs and living their lives. The outside world had been a scary place, where bad people had tried to hurt it, shouting, and throwing things. But that had been a long time ago.
Eventually it had moved into the big, airy flat with its roof garden, and had gone out into the countryside with its friends, or to the beach, although always keeping away from people.
Now everything has changed again; the world knows about Fluffs, welcomes them, appreciates them…
People call out to it as it slithers along beside Jack, Ianto and their four children. They're going to the park for a picnic, where they'll play tag, throw frisbees, kick a ball around, and enjoy the fresh air. It's going to be wonderful!
The outside world isn't scary anymore, it's filled with fun and adventure, and Nosy knows they'll all make new friends. They always do; everyone wants to play with them.
"You're like the Pied Piper." Ianto smiles down at Nosy. "Half of Cardiff is following us."
