It's a nice sunny day in the east blue. The sun is shining. The birds are singing. Everything is going peacefully.
On a island called dawn island. There lives a young boy, who will save the world from the evils of it. And his name...
Is monkey D Luffy.
Luffy, a young 7 year old boy, is out for a training hunt alone. Why you ask...
Because his grandfather monkey D Garp, said so.
His grandfather is a marine vice admiral. And the one who arrested the pirate king himself, gold Roger.
As Luffy walks around the forest he talks to himself.
Dumb old grandpa, thinking this is how I can be a strong marine. If I become a marine then I'll see to it that I make it to the top my own why. I'll beat up a lot of bad people. And make a name for myself as the next marine fleet admiral said Luffy to himself.
Shanks may be a pirate who fights for freedom. But I'll be the marine, who fights for peace, and true justice. Just you wait world. Because I'm coming for ya said Luffy to himself.
As Luffy keeps on walking, he soon finds a chest on the ground. He opens it only to find a strange looking fruit and a book inside.
Not knowing what to do with the fruit, Luffy starts reading the book. To his surprise he finds out he found a devil fruit.
The name of said fruit, is called the hard hard fruit. A devil fruit that gives the user the power to harden their body limitlessly.
They can even heat up their body.
Luffy was surprised to know he found a devil fruit that can make the user invincible.
Looks like I found a powerful fruit. Welp, can let this lucky day go to waste said Luffy before eating the nasty thing.
After eating it Luffy felt warm inside. He felt like he can take anything.
Better tell grandpa about this. He'll know what to do said Luffy as he then started running back to Garp's camp sight.
After informing Garp about what's what, Garp decided to help Luffy get stronger and help him learn how to use his powers.
Luffy eventually met Two older boys named Ace and Sabo. Ace wants to be a pirate, while Sabo wants to join the revolutionary army.
After hearing that Luffy said he's happy to hear they want to follow their dreams.
Hearing that the three boys became best friends.
As time passes the three grew stronger.
After Ace and Sabo left to follow their dreams. Luffy was happy for them.
Luffy eventually learns the powers of the Rokushiki skills.
He learned all of them but the one he deemed not needed for him. And that's the finger pistol skill.
Garp agreed with him about it.
As time went on Luffy eventually turned 17. The day has finally come, for Luffy to leave his home island. And become a marine.
[at the docks]
Luffy is wearing a red sleeveless vest. A pair of black pants. Some sandals. And a smile on his face.
Just like that Luffy's transponder snail is ringing.
This is Luffy speaking, who is calling please? Asked Luffy.
This is your grandpa speaking. Luffy, I just got your rank in. You are ranked as marine petty officer. If you want to rise up, you'll just have to work hard for it... ya get it?, cause your hard. Behahaha! Laughed Garp in the snail.
Sisisi, good one grandpa, you really know when to be funny said Luffy.
Thanks. Now then, your first mission as a marine, is to head to the marine base in shells town. We need a check up on that base. So don't go monkeying it up, ya hear? Asked Garp.
Sir yea sir said Luffy. Good, now then. Take care said Garp. You to grandpa bye said Luffy before hanging up.
Just like that Luffy set sail on his small ship that's big enough for five people.
Instead he has lots of food onboard.
He also has 50,000 Barrie's on him so far.
As he was far away from the island. He thought to himself.
(I wonder where it is? thought Luffy).
Just like that a giant sea king came out of the water.
Oh. There you are said Luffy with a smile.
The sea king roar's at Luffy.
I guess it's time for us to end this, once and for all said Luffy getting ready to finish this.
Just like that Luffy jumped into the air.
[wind blade kick!] yelled Luffy as he kicked the air hard enough to make a flying slash.
The flying slash went to the sea king and hit it and cut off it's head cleanly.
After killing it, Luffy kept on sailing.
That should hopefully feed the fish for a long time hopefully they will have a better chance to get fish now that the sea king is dead now said Luffy to himself.
And just like that Luffy has begun his journey into marine hood.
What's the worst can happen?.
