None of this made any sense. How and why did that human save a dragon? And not just any dragon, the daughter of the Emperor of Demise! What even threw him for a loop was that the dragon was living with the human as a maid! He couldn't understand it.

He spent months watching the human and saw how she became close to other dragons. Some of those dragons have chosen to live with other humans. He shook his head, refusing to believe that humans and dragons could co-exist.

He stood up and walked over to his books of spells. There was something about this Kobayashi woman that drove him mad with riddles. He was fully aware that she was a woman that looked like a man because of her lack of female traits. She was even jealous of some of the women's looks, though she tries not to let it get to her. He flips through the book, looking for a spell. He soon found the spell and hmms.

"This Kobayashi is a mystery. Everything she's done makes no sense." He said, sighing.

However, he decided that enough was enough. He was going to meet this Kobayashi face to face and get some answers. He also knew that he needs to meet her when she was alone. The dragons have become protective of her and would do everything to keep her safe. Plus, it would be too late even if they learn of his involvement. He closes the book and walks over to his crystal ball. He soon saw Kobayashi at her work and hmms again.

"If there is one thing I find most interesting about her is that she's a hard worker." He said, knowing she was about to go home for the night.

He then forms a portal to the world the other dragons were living in and shook his head.

"Humans and Dragons can't co-exist. I'll give the dragons in the Harmony Faction a benefit of the doubt because they do try to keep the harmony between the two species, but there's more to this I must know." He said before stepping through the portal, ready to get his answers.

Kobayashi steps out of her office building, ready to head home. Takiya invited her to a drink, but she turned it down. She promise Kanna that she'll play with her tonight, and she didn't want to be drunk when she got back. She looks around a bit before walking down the street to the Train Station. Kobayashi sighs as she thought about what had happened to her in the past few months.

'It's so strange. I know I'm not, but I still feel like I'm dreaming. There are times I wake up and think that I'm back at the old apartment, and none of this really happened. Until I walk out and see Tohru preparing breakfast. Sometimes I wonder if I'm still dreaming.' She thought.

'But, something tells me even if it was a dream, I won't feel the same. To think I'll meet so many dragons just for saving one. I feel like my life has changed for the better.' Kobayashi added.

She spotted the train station and soon climb onto the train. She sits down, still thinking about the changes in her life. She thought back to when she first meet Tohru and how they bond over a drink. True, she was drunk at the time, but the way she and Tohru talked and got along made her feel that if they haven't done that, she'll still be the person she use to be.

"Excuse me."

Kobayashi looks up to see a man wearing a jacket, looking a bit tired.

"Is this seat taken?" He asked.

"No, have a seat," Kobayashi said before the man sat down.

"Thank you. Oh, my name is Magi Spelman."

"Kobayashi. I hope this doesn't sound rude, but your name is an odd one." She said.

"I get that a lot. Sometimes I wonder what my parents are thinking when they named me. You can call me Mack." The Man said.

"So where's your stop?" He asked.

"Just a few stops from here. You?" Kobayashi asked.

"Just a stop after yours. We have time to talk if you want." Mack said.

"Sure," Kobayashi said, seeing no harm in it.

"Now, I know this might seem childish for a full-grown man like myself, but I was wondering if we could talk about dragons?" Mack said.

"Okay?" Kobayashi said, wondering why he was asking about dragons.

"Now, I fully understand that Dragons aren't real, but I was wondering what your thoughts were on them?" Mack asked.

"My thoughts? Hmm, well, I did know that dragons are considered dangerous, even if they are make-believe. Honestly, I'll be scared out of my wits if I even meet one." Kobayashi said.

'Though, I have grown used to Tohru and the others by now.' She added in thought.

"I'm aware of that, but I want your thoughts. What do you think of dragons if you truly met one?" Mack asked.

"Well...If I had the chance, I would try to see if the dragon is friendly, but I would be on guard because of how big it is. I'm sure the last thing you want to hear is me getting eaten by one." Kobayashi said, being as truthful as she can.

"Indeed. Humans would be nothing more than a snack to dragons." Mack said, nodding.

"If we do get along, I might try to learn about the dragon as much as I can. Sure, it would be hard to understand what they do, and the idea of being killed would make it hard to get along for a while. But once I get to know them, I might be more comfortable around them." Kobayashi continued.

"I see," Mack said, thinking.

"Forgive me, but why did you ask me that?" Kobayashi asked.

"Ah, I was watching you for some time. The way you interact with others confused me since you were a loner for most of your life. I know you made some friends, but you really didn't change until you met someone else. Someone that's was important to you." Mack said, confusing Kobayashi.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

'And what did he mean by watching me?' She added in thought.

"Ah, forgive me. I did not mean to come off as a creeper or stalker. There was something about you that made me wonder if you could help me understand something." Mack said, smiling sheepishly.

"Okay?" Kobayashi said, still confused.

"Oh! I had almost forgotten." Mack said, reaching inside his jacket and pulls out a piece of paper.

"What's that?" Kobayashi asked.

"It's a little something to help you with your back. I have noticed that your back sometimes gives out when I was watching you. Just repeat what is written before you go to bed tonight." Mack said.

Kobayashi still didn't get it, but she decide to at least take him up on his offer. However, the man seems to zig-zag about what he was talking about. As if he was trying to keep her from something.

"Oh, is this your stop?" Mack asked, making her look up.

"Yeah! Got to go." Kobayashi said, getting up.

"Very well, have a good evening, Miss Kobayashi. Oh, and tell Tohru that I said hi." Mack said.

Kobayashi froze before turning around. However, the door close, and the train started moving to the next stop.

'What the?! How does he know about Tohru? He's not a dragon.' She thought, surprised.

She then looks at the paper, completely lost. Who was that man?

Later,

After getting home and playing with Kanna, Kobayashi got ready for bed, still lost on who that man was. She wanted to bring it up to Tohru, but she wasn't even sure if she should. She then looks at the paper that was given to her, still lost.

"Maybe I'm overthinking this. I can tell Tohru about this man tomorrow." She said before reading the paper.

"Once read, it will be said. Undo the pain so it will be right as rain. Fires will burn and feel with dread. Until the time will med, a dragon you will be, until I set you free."

Kobayashi blinks, not understanding what that means. However, she started to feel even more tired than before. She tries to stay awake as the paper slips out of her hand. Her eyes started to feel heavy, and her version started to blur. For some reason, her chest started to feel a bit hot. Finally, Kobayashi fell on top of her bed, having completely passed out.

A portal opens in her room, and the man steps out. He helps Kobayashi get in bed before picking up the paper. He looks at her before sighing.

"Until you can give me an answer, you will live as one of them." He said before walking back through the portal.

He looks back one last time as the portal closes. The next few months will be something to watch.

Morning,

Tohru was making breakfast, humming her cleaning song to herself. She wanted to prepare Miss Kobayashi with a special breakfast. As much as she wanted to serve her tail again, she decided not to.

"Morning, Lady Tohru."

She turns and saw Kanna walking out of their share room, still in her PJs.

"Morning, Kanna." She said, knowing she had the day off from school.

"Where's Kobayashi?" Kanna asked.

"Probably still sleeping after playing with you last night. Good thing her boss gave her the day off." Tohru said.

"We had so much fun last night! I can't wait to play again!" Kanna said, happy.

"I know, but remember that Miss Kobayashi is still human. We can hurt her if we're not careful." Tohru reminds her.

"I know. But it would be nice if she was a dragon like us, right?" Kanna said, and asked.

"Hmm, if she was a dragon?" Tohru said, thinking about it.

She wasn't 100% sure what Miss Kobayashi would look like as a dragon, but she already decide that she looked better as a human.

"As nice as that sound, I think she better being her own kind," Tohru said.

"Okay. I like Kobayashi as a human too!" Kanna said.

Tohru smiles as she finished making breakfast.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Tohru and Kanna both turn to the door that leads to Kobayashi's room when they heard the scream.

"Miss Kobayashi?! What's wrong?!" Tohru said, pushing the door open.

She froze when she saw her. On her head were two big horns. Her back had two red wings sticking out and a long scaly tail that was the same color as her hair was coming from behind her. But the main thing was her chest. She was no longer flat. Her chest was now the same size as Tohru's.

"Miss Kobayashi?" Tohru asked, shocked.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ME?!" Kobayashi shouted.

And I bring you another Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid idea. This time, it's about how a Mage from Tohru's world turned Kobayashi into a dragon. As you read, the mage doesn't understand why Kobayashi would have saved Tohru when they first meet and how she become close to other dragons. Though he tried to get some answers, he kind of zig-zag on what he trying to find out. He ended up giving her a spell that would turn her into a dragon until he got the answer he wanted. The next chapter will cover how everyone would react to Kobayashi changing, and how some of them will teach her how to be a dragon.
