Battlefield

Her frown was deep and her fists were clenched hard at her sides.

She wasn't backing down. This was what she wanted and he was not going to change her mind.

"So, you wanna fight with us down there?" he questioned her seriously.

"Yes, I do" she told him firmly. He sighed, placing his large strong hands on his hips. He had walked his wife away from the rest of the group on the Lookout, to speak to her in privacy.

"It's gonna be tough" he told her.

"I know" she replied. And she did know.

She wasn't anywhere near as strong as the others, but she was tired of being left behind. She was tired of sitting at home worrying about her family. This time, she wanted to be there. This time she wanted to help.

"Why do you wanna fight with us? You hate me fighting, you hate the boys fighting" he questioned her.

"Because I am tired of being stuck at home, worrying about you and just waiting for you to hopefully walk through that door. I'm fed up of being on my own, feeling useless all the time".

"Honey, you're not useless. You help in your own way" he gently tried to tell her.

"How?"

"You being home means you're safe. It means I don't have to worry about you".

"Well, not anymore. I'm sick of it" she spat. He sighed once again, his one hand combing through his wild hair, his expression one of frustration.

"Chichi, I don't feel comfortable with this" he admitted.

"I don't feel comfortable every time you fight, but I have no choice but to just deal with it" she reminded him.

"This is different" he told her.

"Why? because you're stronger than me?"

"Well, yeah" he said truthfully.

"You're stronger than Krillin! And Yamcha! But you are happy for them to fight along side you!" she pointed out, "And 18! She's allowed to fight!"

"She's not my wife" he firmly replied.

"So, just because I'm your wife, I can't fight by your side?"

"That's not what I'm saying and you know it"

"Then what are you saying, Goku?" she demanded.

"I don't want you fighting because I don't want you to get hurt! This isn't a martial arts tournament, Chichi, this is a real fight. I need to be able to concentrate on fighting this guy, but it's gonna be hard when I know you are there. I'm going to worry about you"

"I'm not going to be fighting him. I'm only going to be helping in the city. Those things are on the loose and they are hurting people! I will be helping those people".

Goku pursed his lips, deep in thought. After all their years together, after all the arguments they had about him fighting, now she wanted to fight too?

"Y'know, I'm not the only one who doesn't like this idea" he told her.

"Who else doesn't?" she wondered.

"Gohan"

"Well, Gohan doesn't get a say in the matter".

"Neither do I, apparently" Goku returned, slightly irritated. Chichi huffed.

"I don't have to ask for your permission, you know" she retorted arms now crossed over her chest.

"No, you don't, but the battlefield is my forte" he stated.

"What, and the kitchen is mine?" she dared him to say it.

"Stop trying to put words in my mouth" he bit back.

"Why make that comment? You don't own the battlefield. It's a free for all. If I want to go down there and fight those monsters, then I will!"

"You really wanna fight?" his voice raised slightly. It almost made Chichi feel nervous. She swallowed hard as she watched him raise his Ki, his already crazy hair now rising and flowing on top of his head.

"Fine. I'm gonna show you exactly what you will be dealing with down there. I won't hold back" he warned her.

"Fine" she barked.

"And if you can hit me, you can come with us" he told her.

"I already told you, I wasn't asking for permission" she ground her teeth together.

"If you can hit me, you can come with us" he repeated himself, the words coming out more firmly this time.

Chichi growled. That was his way of putting his foot down. He didn't do it often.

He was not giving her a choice.

Asshole.

"Fine" she mumbled.

His eyes were completely focused on her and his usual smile had vanished from his face. They had sparred plenty of times together, more so back when Gohan was very young, but he always smiled, he was always playful when fighting with her. But this time was different. This was the serious Goku that she rarely got to see, battle hungry Goku, confident Goku. She would be lying if she said she wasn't intimidated by his intense glare.

He raised his left hand and motioned for her to come to him with his fingers. She growled and launched herself at him, throwing her right fist forward to attack him head on. Goku blocked the punch with ease, angering her, so she unleashed an onslaught of punches and kicks, the force of the impact getting harder after each attack.

"Being angry like that won't help you, so drop it" Goku ordered as he caught another punch effortlessly. Chichi snarled, jumping back to make distance between them. She composed herself, inhaling then exhaling, and attacked him again. Goku noticed that this time she was more relaxed and her speed and aim improved.

She continued to shower him with punches and kicks, and he mockingly dodged or caught every single attack. Not that she thought he wouldn't ... it was Goku after all, but it did irritate her that she couldn't get just one little hit in there. Back when Gohan was a small child, she could at least lay a few hits here and there. But now ...

Goku suddenly interrupted her thoughts by gripping her body and wrapping his arms around her, squeezing her against him. Chichi choked out a breath, her whole body unable to move, just her feet kicking about frantically. She felt suffocated amongst his powerful arms. She was trapped.

"You drop your guard like that, and someone will take advantage of you!" he warned her. Chichi couldn't respond to him, she could barely breathe.

"So, what will you do if you're trapped like this?" Goku asked her seriously. Again, no response from his little wife, who was now motionless in his arms.

Oh crap ... did he squeeze her too hard? Oh shit!

Goku loosened his grip and held his wife gently against his chest, his right arm taking her weight, his left hand cupping her cheek and titling her chin.

"Chi-" Her eyes opened instantly and with one swift movement she raised her knee to his stomach, but unfortunately for her, her husband was way too fast and blocked it. Chichi growled and pushed off her husband, flipping and landing a few feet away from him. She panted, and watched his once concerned face turn to one of amusement. He smirked at her, and she couldn't help but smirk back. So close ...

"That was some good acting" he applauded his wife, his hands resting on his hips.

"You drop your guard like that, and someone will take advantage of you" she repeated his words, a cocky tone to her voice. Goku stifled a laugh.

"You might get away with that with me, but you won't with them. I promise you" he told her firmly, but a small smile continued to grace his features.

"My old trainer once told me to use everything at my expense, especially when I'm backed into a corner" She reminded him. Goku's face softened. He told her that, a very long ago. And she remembered.

"That's true. But, I can't promise those monsters will care for it" Chichi shrugged.

"Maybe not those creatures, but he has a few other henchman. Maybe I could use it on them" Goku chortled.

"Or, how about we do some serious training so you don't have to play damsel in distress?"

"I am no damsel in distress" she fumed.

"Prove it".

For the next few weeks Goku trained with Vegeta on Beerus' planet throughout the day, and then returned to the Lookout to train his wife in the evening. Chichi found it exhausting, she wasn't used to this sort of training, her entire body ached and she had the bruises to go with it.

It was proving tiresome for Goku too, especially after a long day training with Vegeta, but he wasn't going to let his wife think that. He had agreed to train her after all. And lucky for him, she didn't let him forget it!

The one evening he stayed later than normal on Beerus' planet and after a quick call from Bulma, to remind Goku of his promise to his wife, Whis kindly passed the message on to Goku who panicked and instantly transported himself to the Lookout. His wife was extra aggressive that evening.

Chichi punched forward, Goku catching her fist in his left hand. She swiftly swung her left leg around, Goku catching her leg in his right hand.

"Good. But not good enough" he muttered, pushing her back with force, causing Chichi to land hard on her backside. She winced at the contact with the floor and watched through one open eye as her husband stared down at her.

"You are still too tense. You need to relax" he told her.

"Easy for you to say, you're not up against you" she reminded him, standing up once again.

"Those monsters are nowhere near as strong as I am, but his henchman are pretty tough. You need to be able to at least defend yourself against me, if you want any chance of fighting them".

Chichi huffed and stared at the ground beneath her.

"Honey, if this is too much-" Goku started.

"NO!" She yelled, "Don't even try and talk me out of this!" she warned, pointing her finger accusingly at her husband. Goku put up his hands in defense.

"I'm not! Honest! I just ... think you're in over your head! You haven't trained properly in several years, and we are going to be going down there in just a few days to fight"

"Hey, I trained Goten when you were dead, remember?" She shouted at him, quite obviously offended by his words.

"Yeah, you did, but that was just the very basics. You stopped as soon as he turned into a Super Saiyan".

"Because what was the point? He was way out of my league, so Gohan took over".

"The problem is that you gave up. If you hadn't given up, you would be in a much better position now" he told her.

"I thought you were supposed to be helping me, not running me down" she snapped.

"Chichi, I'm not trying to run you down, I'm simply stating facts. You are too tense, you are too angry and you are not focused. If you can't relax and find your focus, then I am wasting my time and you won't be coming with us" he decreed.

Chichi frowned so hard that her head started to hurt. She glared at him for a moment and then stormed off in the direction of the palace, hastily walking inside. Goku sighed and scratched his head. He was harsh, but he needed to be. If his wife was going to go down there with him, he needed to make sure she was ready. He needed to make sure she could handle herself and she was safe.

Goku decided to give his wife some time to cool off and ambled over to the edge of the balcony. Standing at the edge, he peered down into the dark clouds below. Normally it was bright and calming below, but right now it was dark and unsettling. The world had been thrown into chaos by yet another evil being, who wanted revenge for something Goku most likely did in his past.

It was unknown at this point, who this being actually was. But Whis was on the case! He had his contacts and was happy to find out more information on this new enemy. What concerned Goku the most, however, was this being's power. This person was stronger that Majin Buu, there was no doubt about that, but Goku couldn't pin point exactly how much stronger.

After their rocky encounter with Lord Beerus and Whis not so long ago, Goku and Vegeta managed to befriend them and Whis agreed to train them. Goku was glad that the encounter happened when it did, because right now, Goku and Vegeta were the strongest they had ever been. It couldn't have come at a better time.

Goku sighed as he continued to watch the clouds, a familiar Ki suddenly approaching him from behind. He turned his body slightly to face her, a small smile perched on his face. Her eyes caught his and he raised his eyebrows at her. She frowned and stared at the ground, her fingers fumbling with the sides of her skirt.

"Okay ... you're right ... I was ... too angry and stuff" she mumbled out.

"I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Did you say I was right?" Goku teased.

"Idiot" she muttered, a very small smile trying to break free from beneath the scowl on her face.

"Nah, I think I need to hear you say it again, just to be sure" Goku grinned at his little wife as he turned fully to face her. She rolled her eyes at him.

"Fine! You were right! I was wrong, happy?" she crossed her arms and huffed. Goku chuckled at her.

"Very happy" he winked at her and she gave him a smile.

"Look, honey, I don't mean to be harsh on you, but I really don't like the idea of you coming down there with me. So, if you are going to come down there with me, I need to make sure you can handle yourself".

"I know" she returned in a low voice.

"And I need you to listen to me" he continued, standing directly in front of her and taking her hands in his, "I need you to relax, I need you to focus and I need you to give me everything you got".

"Okay"

"And stop doubting yourself just because you are fighting me. The Chichi I know could always kick my ass" he reminded her with a goofy smile. Chichi laughed at him and pulled her hands from his grasp.

"Alright, Mr. Super Saiyan, you're on!" she challenged him, leaning back into her fighting stance.

"That's my girl!" her husband cheered, taking his position also.

It had been several weeks now since training started with his wife, and he could see an improvement in her. Chichi was training alone during the day and then with her husband during the evenings. The gang had collectively decided that they were going to go down to Earth and confront the new threat tomorrow, and Goku was feeling rather anxious about it, especially after learning who they were going to be facing.

"You could just tell her to take a hike" Vegeta muttered casually as he removed his training weights. The two of them were finishing up for the day on Beerus' planet and were going to head back to the Lookout.

"I promised her I would train her" Goku sighed, removing his own training gear.

"Yeah, you did, but you didn't promise her she could come with us. She hasn't hit you yet, has she?" Vegeta wondered with a smirk, "Don't tell me the mighty Kakarot got punched by his little human wife". Goku frowned at him.

"No, she hasn't hit me. And that's what I'm worried about" he huffed out a frustrated breath and plonked himself down on the grass, "The truth is, I actually want her to hit me. I know I'm way out of her league but, I aint really trying that hard, y'know? Just enough to push her a little, but she still aint come close".

"Well, unlucky for her. She aint coming with us" Vegeta shrugged.

"Vegeta" Goku whined.

"What? That was the deal, wasn't it? And besides the point, I didn't agree to any of this!" Vegeta shot at him.

"Huh? What's it got to do with you? She's my wife"

"Exactly! And Mr. sentimental will be too busy keeping tabs on his weakling of a wife, instead of focusing on the battle at hand!"

"That's not true!" Goku argued back, getting up from the grass. Vegeta scoffed at him.

"I can't believe you agreed to this absurd idea in the first place! I will be damned if that woman costs us a fight because you were too distracted".

"I won't be distracted. She's not even fighting him, we are!" Goku defended. Vegeta squared up to his tall partner and looked him dead in the eye.

"You are going on about your woman not being focused enough, but maybe it's you who needs to focus!" Vegeta spat.

"My focus is exactly where it should be, so get off my back!" Goku bit back.

"It better be, Kakarot, because this isn't some disgusting, romantic, bonding crap for you and your wife! This isn't a game! This is serious!"

"You think I don't know that?!" Goku snapped at his friend, "I know what's at stake here! Especially now we know who we are up against!"

"Then stop fucking around! If she doesn't hit you tonight, then she isn't coming, end of! Get your God damn priorities straight!" Vegeta yelled at him.

Goku was seething.

But ... Vegeta was right.

Goku turned away from Vegeta for a few seconds, unable to look at him as his mind soared. Vegeta let out a haggard breath and threw his head back in frustration.

"Look, let's just ... go back to the Lookout" he grumbled, holding his hand out to Goku, ready for Instant Transmission.

Goku turned his head and glanced at Vegeta's outstretched hand. Vegeta waited, impatiently, for Goku to get a grip of himself and take his hand. Goku turned to face Vegeta fully and walked over to him, batting his hand away and placing a hand on his shoulder instead.

"Really?" Vegeta scoffed. Goku gave him a 'hmph' and avoided eye contact.

"You are such a child" Vegeta grunted under his breath. Seconds later they teleported to the Lookout.

Goku and Vegeta appeared at the foot of the palace steps, startling Chichi, who sat at the top of them waiting for her husband.

Vegeta shrugged his right shoulder aggressively, to get Goku's hand off of him and stormed up the steps past Chichi.

"Do me a favour?" he growled, glaring at Chichi who quickly stood up, "hit him in the dick!" Vegeta was done with his mini tantrum and walked off, leaving the couple alone.

"Uh ... is everything okay?" Chichi asked her husband, noticing the glare on his face too as he watched the Prince of assholes vanish inside the palace.

"Yeah, ignore him" he muttered. Chichi cocked an eye brow, unsure as to whether things really were okay.

"Come on" Goku interrupted her thoughts, taking her hand and pulling her towards him, his right hand raising, two fingers pointing to his forehead.

"Where are we going?" Chichi asked curiously. She was answered a second later when her eyes focused on the scenery before her.

It always took a moment for her to gather herself after teleporting, but she soon recognised where they were.

"Goku ... is this?"

"Yep, our old training grounds" Goku answered her. Chichi was in awe as she slowly walked around the area, memories hitting her like a wave crashing against the shore. Goku always brought her here, in their earlier days, for them to spar or just relax. It was such a big open space, away from their home, away from everything.

It was their place, somewhere where they could unwind together, spar together and simply be together. Not even their sons knew about this place.

Goku gazed at his wife as she gently sauntered around the sandy ground. The place hadn't changed much, it was still like a sandy desert plain, but overgrown with bushes in some places. You could just make out the ocean through the gaps in the trees ahead, the path leading there still visible, one they walked regularly back in the day.

"I can't believe you remembered this place. It's been so long since we been here. I'm impressed you could even teleport out here". Chichi mused.

Goku's smile faltered, the realisation of how long it had been, suddenly pulling at his heart strings. He couldn't even remember the last time he brought her here. Had he been away from her that long? Had he left her that many times?

Chichi turned to face her husband, her smile also dropping when she saw his solemn expression.

"Goku, what's wrong?" she gently asked him as she ambled over to him.

"Nothing" he lied, putting on his best fake smile.

"Goku" Chichi pushed, knowing he was lying. She honestly didn't know why he even bothered to try. She could see right through him.

"I just ..." Goku stopped himself, her deep, dark, sparkling eyes catching his gaze, the reflection of the stars in the darkening sky making them glow.

"You just ... what?" she whispered, her body inches from his.

"I just ... want you to hit me" he told her. It was an answer she was not expecting, and she highly doubted that was what he really wanted to say to her. He was awfully good at changing the subject when he didn't want to open up.

"You want me to hit you?" she repeated his words.

"You have to hit me. Because if you don't hit me, then you have to stay at the Lookout tomorrow" his voice was gentle but firm.

"I have been trying-"

"-Not hard enough!" he interrupted her, "You need to try harder!" he pushed.

"What do you think I am? some sort of machine? I am exhausted, I have been pushing myself every single day! I am only human, you know!"

"I don't care. It's not good enough. So stop making excuses!" her husband bit.

"I'm not making excuses! I have genuinely been working my ass off!" she argued, hands on her hips.

"There's working your ass off, and then there's going at it half-heartedly". Goku told her.

"What? Are you trying to say I haven't been working my hardest?" she snarled.

"I'm saying whatever you have been doing isn't good enough"

"Listen, pal, just because you and Vegeta had a lovers spat and you're pissed off with him, don't mean you can take it out on me!"

"This has nothing to do with Vegeta! This is about you!" Goku retorted, irritation evident in his voice.

"What the hell did I do?!" Chichi demanded.

"You honestly think you had any chance of coming to fight with me? You can barely keep up with me and I ain't even trying!" he raised his voice at her, making the rage inside of her start bubbling on the surface.

"How dare you!" She fumed.

"It's funny really, that you actually thought you had any chance of laying a finger on me. I'm way out of your league. I don't know what I was thinking even agreeing to train you" Goku hissed.

Chichi raged ... her frantically beating heart exploded in her chest ...

She threw herself at her husband, punching him, kicking him, diving, dodging, grabbing at him, just anything to try and silence him!

This wasn't just anger ... this was pure determination ... this was pure desire to prove her husband wrong!

Chichi grit her teeth and curled her right hand into a fist and aimed for her husband's face. He swung his left arm up and blocked her punch with ease, her face warping with rage. Her fists and legs were flying at a furious speed, her stupid smug husband blocking and dodging every attack. She swung a fist at him again, but this time he grabbed her small, lithe arm in his large calloused hand.

And he held it tight.

Chichi planted her feet and tugged furiously, lunging her body backwards to try and break free of his grasp.

Her eyes met his and the look on his face had her reeling. The audacity of this man! The obnoxious bastard!

He was toying with her and he was enjoying it.

"Let ... me ... go!" she yelled at him.

"Would your enemy let you go?" he asked her seriously. She refused to answer him as she continued to try and free herself, her raging eyes now avoiding his.

"No" he answered for her, "So, what are you going to do?" he tested her.

Chichi knew she had no chance of breaking free of his solid hold. But she had to think of something.

She was not about to lose. Not like this!

Her cold gaze caught his tempting eyes. She stopped fighting against him and simply surveyed him, taking in every ounce of his expression, from his hard stare, to his tightened lips and tensed jaw. The emotion he displayed was powerful, and he reeked of adrenaline.

The toying had long gone ... her husband was no longer playing.

She could feel the change before it even happened, as his grip tightened on her arm. The air suddenly become unbearably hot, and her arm felt like it was on fire. It hit her like a raging furnace when a Golden aura engulfed his body, his innocent black eyes being consumed by that inner monster he normally kept locked away from her.

Oh, she had seen him this way before. But it wasn't a regular occurrence. If anything, he was reluctant to be this way around her because he found it hard to control himself. It was frightening and intimidating, but there was something so alluring about it.

Those teal eyes devoured her.

Her body almost trembled, her skin burned and her eyes watered as the intense stare off continued. She decided to move forward, standing directly in front of him, her small body barely an inch from his. Her lungs felt suffocated from his humid aura, sweat droplets were forming on her forehead. But her gaze never faltered.

"No, Son Goku" she whispered in venom, "The question is, what are you going to do?"

The next thing he knew, was his wife jumping at him, wrapping her strong feminine legs around his lean waist. He loosened his grip on her arm, allowing her to break free of his hold completely, her legs purposely squeezing around his middle. It wasn't particularly painful for Goku, but it was a bit uncomfortable, in more ways than one. He swallowed hard at their closeness, his guard coming down ever so slightly. Chichi seen this as her opportunity and threw her right fist at her husband's face, growling in frustration when he blocked it once again.

She kept throwing punches and slaps at him, but he kept batting them away, the top half of his body leaning back slightly to avoid her advances. Without a second thought, she threw her top half backwards, lifting her husband off the ground. She planted her hands on the sandy terrain and flipped him, a pure look of shock on his face as he was flipped hard onto his back, his small wife now towering over him.

His wife was on him not even a second later, sitting on his mid-section she continued her onslaught of punches and slaps. Goku managed to grab both of her wrists, restraining her so she could no longer attack him with her hands. Chichi balled her hands into fists and using her husband's strong arms as leverage, she hoisted herself up and swung her legs up and through the gap between their arms, landing on top of his chest.

She knew her husband, and she knew he was about to make some sort of inappropriate comment by the look on his face, but she silenced him by digging her feet under the back of his head, then kicking his head up so she could circle her legs tightly around his neck.

Oh, now she had him!

She squeezed her thighs around his neck as tightly as she could, using every inch of her strength. She wanted to make her husband suffer and see that smug look on his face drown with him. Goku released his wife's wrists and gripped her by her thighs and attempted to pull them from his neck. Chichi grit her teeth and strained her muscles, her thighs tensing harder around his neck. Smothered by his wife's hot thighs, Goku couldn't help but smirk. His wife couldn't see it, but it was hard to hide. He could have easily pulled her off him by now ... but he didn't want to.

Truth be told, he purposely wanted to rile her up. He wanted to see how far his wife would go ... he was desperate to know what his wife was going to do next.

She leant her body forward, her hands grabbing him by his hair, her nails digging into his scalp as she forced her husband deeper between her thighs. Her fiery eyes glared down at him as she used every ounce of herself to hold him down, making his heart pound rapidly in his chest. Chichi's scowl turned into a cocky grin, her eyes still fixated on his.

Oh, how the tables had turned. And he had no idea.

"It's funny really, that you actually thought I had no chance of laying a finger on you" she muttered down at her husband.

"I guess you aren't way out of my league" she husked as she brought her mouth to his right ear, "What were you thinking, agreeing to train me?"

Goku's breathing become heavy ... and it wasn't because his wife was throttling him with her legs.

"Poor little Super Saiyan ... pinned by his little human wife" she mocked teasingly, her teeth tugging at his ear lobe, "What are you going to do?"

Goku instantly rose from the ground, lifting his wife and flipping her onto her back. Chichi's back slammed against the hard ground, the aggressive collision knocking the wind out of her, her ass bones almost breaking from the force. Her legs were still wrapped around his neck but with little to no effort, her massive husband ripped her thighs apart and swiftly pinned her beneath him. His lower half blanketed hers, his right hand constraining both of her wrists against the cold hard earth, above her head.

Their eyes were locked like magnets. He studied her with a predator's unwavering attention.

"Poor little Super Saiyan, huh?" he whispered, his lips ghosting over hers, the tip of his nose brushing against hers, his teal eyes eating her alive.

Her haggard breath fanned his face and her heart beat frantically in her chest as he pressed his lower body harder against hers.

"Ah, Chi, like you stood any chance against me" he rasped against her lips. He could feel her Ki skyrocket and patiently waited for her reaction.

But it wasn't the reaction he expected.

Chichi raised her head from the ground and slammed her lips against his in a searing kiss. Goku's eyes widened momentarily at his wife's move, but he soon kissed her back just as fiercely, forcing her head back to the cold grainy ground. Chichi moaned sensually against her husband's mouth, his right hand still restraining her by her wrists, his left hand starting to wander up her body. His left hand travelled slowly up her right thigh, her skirt rising as his hand glided up higher.

Chichi pushed her pelvis up to meet his, a groan escaping the hot depths of his mouth at the sensuous contact. His tongue plunged hard into her mouth, the action almost choking her, his left hand now gripping forcefully at her thigh, his fingertips digging into her soft flesh. She gasped against his mouth, his lips leaving hers and seducing her neck with kisses and bites. He loosened his grip on her wrists, allowing his wife to pull free and wrap her arms around his thick neck, her finger nails clawing at his skin.

He rolled his hips against hers, his obvious excitement prodding her between her legs, causing her to whimper beneath him as he continued to kiss and bite at her neck. He growled against her skin, her scent driving him crazy, the sound and the vibrations of his voice against her neck causing moisture to form between her legs. She grasped both of his cheeks and ravaged his mouth once more, their entire bodies exploding with desire. Goku's heart skipped a few beats as he held onto her tightly, his large hands not being able to bring her close enough to him.

Her taste, her smell, he didn't realise he was starving. The need for her completely consumed him, everything else was completely forgotten about.

Kissing her was something he could never describe, like trying to hold water in your hands.

It stripped his mind bare, his entire body trembled, the world stopped.

He was abruptly brought back to reality when he felt a slight twinge of pain in his stomach. He broke the kiss, his heavy breath grazing her swollen lips, his eyes then glancing down between their bodies. His wife had her right hand balled into a fist and she had punched him in his gut.

His wife had hit him.

Catching his breath, his eyes glanced between her fist and her, a proud grin forming across her face.

"I hit you" she whispered.

Goku could do nothing but laugh, his face planting onto her chest in defeat, his action causing laughter to erupt from his wife's mouth too. He composed himself slightly a few seconds later, letting his Super Saiyan form go and raised his head back up to look her in the eye.

"You hit me" he agreed.

His beautiful little wife had the smuggest look on her face, but he couldn't help but adore it.

"So that's your tactic, huh? Seducing his henchman? Not sure I'm comfortable with that" he told her, his one eye brow arching as he gazed down at her. Chichi giggled playfully then bit her lip suggestively at him.

"Well, you did say I had to give my everything" she reminded him.

"Yeah, not that though!" he argued back.

"Aw, will my big strong husband be all jealous if I did that to those henchman?" she teased, circling her arms around his neck again, pulling him closer to her.

"Your big strong husband will come over there and rip their heads from their shoulders" Goku told her seriously, causing her to burst into laugher again. He pouted at her, his eyebrows knitting together comically. Chichi cupped his cheeks with her dainty hands and brought his lips down to hers and kissed him tenderly.

"My big strong husband doesn't have to worry about that" she whispered, drawing her lips back from his, "I only save that tactic for him".

"I should think so" he told her, a cheeky smile playing on his face. He kissed her nose gently and pushed himself up to his knees, extending his right hand out to his wife, which she took willingly. They both got to their feet and dusted the sand and gravel from their clothes.

"So, I can come with you tomorrow?" Chichi asked him, a hopeful look upon her face. Goku just stared back at her, a torn expression on his face. He wished his wife didn't want to come, he wished she would stay home where she was safe ... but, he made a deal with her.

"You can come with me tomorrow" he breathed out, still uncertain as to whether this was the right thing to do, "But ... you have to promise me something" he told her firmly, taking her hands in his.

"Okay" she gentled replied.

"The moment it gets too dangerous and I tell you to leave, you are not to refuse and you are not to argue with me. You just leave" his expression had completely changed and she knew her husband was being very serious.

"Okay" she replied once more.

"No, I want to hear you promise"

Chichi sighed, but she wasn't about to argue with her husband, "I promise" she told him, squeezing his hands to reassure him.

"Good" he whispered, resting his forehead against hers, "Fancy a walk on the beach?" he suddenly asked her.

Chichi smiled, "I would love to".
