Beetle Force
in Combat Exam
At Class A, Connor and the Shadowbolts are studying for an exam thanks to Twilight since she helped her friends to study because of their hobbies. But Connor is struggling to pay attention, and no it's not those games, it's something else. Which got Twilight's attention.
"Connor is something wrong?" asked Twilight.
"Yeah. It's about Owen." Connor answered. "He hasn't challenged any of the classes for two weeks." he said.
"Why? Has he lost interest?" Lemon questioned.
"I'm not sure?" Connor said being baffled. "Let's just go to Class F and see." he suggested, and they agreed.
They went to Class F and see that everyone was doing their slacker routine, until they spotted Owen studying.
"Hey Owen." Connor called which got Owen's attention. "What are you doing? You haven't barged into our class for a challenge for weeks?" he asked.
"Well, Mr. Faculty wrote down history of the revolutions, so I have to study those things. And I've been studying those types of exams ever since." Owen explained. Then Christopher walked in.
"That's right." said Christopher. "He's starting to be the top of his class ever since he started studying." he explained.
"Well, at least we're taking a break from all those challenges he forces us into." said Sugarcoat.
Meanwhile at the warehouse, Dr. Lily is pressing buttons from the chamber and it started to activate, then Dark Connor appeared.
"How's the research going?" said Dark Connor.
"Very good sir. We've gathered a few dna sample from other Shadowbugs of your choosing." Dr. Lily explained. And once the chamber's sequence is finished, and the doors opened and came out, a yellow-skinned arachnid-like Shadowbug. And his name is Acarina Amber.
"What is your bidding master?" said Acarina Amber being humble.
"You and the clones, will go to the city to attract the Beetle Force, and obtain one of their own insects." Dark Connor ordered.
"Yes, master." said Acarina Amber as he and the Rider Clones left, and causing Dark Connor to smirk evilly.
Later at the cellar, Owen is still studying about revolutions book by book, which obviously amazes the academy.
"Boy. He really is studying non-stop." said Brawly.
"You're telling me." Flash agreed.
"Well at least all of us get a break from the challenges for once." said Connor, and the Riders nodded in agreement.
But the alarm went off and the computer screen turned on, and it shows that the Shadowbugs are attacking the city.
"Here we go again." Owen groaned as he stopped studying.
The Beetle Force made it to the city and looked around to see any more Shadowbugs flying by.
"I don't get it, where are the Shadowbugs?" Micro Chips questioned.
"They were merely a distraction." They turned and spotted the Rider Clones.
"Just so we can face you." said Caucasus.
"Let's ride!" they yelled, and their beetles flew by and landed on their wrists. "Kamen Rider!" they yelled, and they twist their beetles, KAMEN RIDER! and they are now in their battle armor. BEETLE!
"Well, this is gonna be over real quick." said Owen.
"Let's ride!" they yelled, and their insects came and caught them, and once Micro Chips' dragonfly starts to land on the grip it vanished.
"Hey! Where'd my dragonfly go?!" Micro Chips said in perplexed.
"You mean this." And then they spotted Acarina Amber holding Micro Chips' dragonfly and grip much to their shock.
"Kamen Rider!" yelled Acarina Amber. KAMEN RIDER! And he's in armor mode. "Battle mode!" he said, and he pulled the lever, BATTLE MODE! the armor pieces launched off the Acarina Amber and he's now in his own battle mode. DRAGONFLY!
"That thing stole Micro Chips' dragonfly!" said Andrew.
"You better sit this one out Micro Chips." said Owen, and Micro Chips left.
"Kamen Rider!" yelled the Riders, KAMEN RIDER! and they've changed into their armor and battle mode.
"Oh, I don't think so." said Acarina Amber as he flipped the dragonfly's wings RIDER SHOOTING! and he aimed at the Riders and he pulled the trigger, and the blast struck the Beetle Force which causes them to fall down.
"Oh yeah, now that is what I'm talking about!" yelled Acarina Amber in triumphant. But Centaurus noticed something different.
"I don't need to complain, I think you missed one." said Centaurus. BEETLE!
Then Owen appeared in his battle mode and started to fight Acarina Amber, he punched and kicked him all over his body.
"Why you!" Acarina Amber growled, and he tried to blast him but Owen did a backflip to avoid the shot.
Then Hercules tried to attack, but Owen took out his beetle blaster in kunai mode and struck him with it. Then Caucasus took out his own beetle blaster in kunai form and begin clashing weapons with Owen, they clashed each other from left to right until Owen got the upper hand, and he side-kicked his legs which causes Caucasus to fall down. And Owen changed his weapon into it's blaster mode and began firing at them, and they got away.
"Owen." said Connor, as he and the rest of the Beetle Force were amazed. "How did you do that?" he asked.
"Oh. I just calculated the length of the dragonfly blaster, and the width of the clones, and multiplied the distraction to give one of the clones a kick." Owen explained scientifically. While the others were dumbfounded.
"Freaky." said Sandalwood.
The next day at the cellar, Twilight is on the computer trying to pinpoint the location of the Clone Riders and the Shadowbug, so they can take back Micro Chips' dragonfly.
"Even though I checked their last whereabouts but still nothing." said Twilight.
"How about their heat signature." Micro Chips suggested. Then Twilight began to try it, but still nothing.
"Still nothing." she said in frustration.
"Well, that's it." Connor spoked. "We're never gonna find them." he said.
But surprisingly, Owen has an idea to know their exact whereabouts.
"Actually," everyone turned. "why not try to change the trajectory." said Owen.
"Trajectory?" Flash questioned. "What are you talking about?" he asked. But Twilight thought of something.
"Trajectory... that's it!" said Twilight, and she began to change the coordinates and saw four lights. "They're in the sewers." she said, which shocked the Beetle Force.
"I don't believe it. Owen is right again." said Connor in amazement.
Later, the Beetle Force are in their battle armor and Brawly opened the lid.
"You sure this will work?" asked Sandalwood.
"Trust me. This'll work." said Owen and he took out the beetle miner, and he fired drones into the sewer.
And they heard explosions and faint screaming, and then the Clone Riders and the Shadowbug were launched out of the sewer and fell down to the ground.
"Hey no fair!" Acarina Amber complained.
"Well sorry for your luck." said Connor as he took out his sword, and they charged to attack. TIMER!
But the four sets of Riders activated their timer and ran quickly, and they began to strike down the Beetle Force one by one, until Owen is left.
"Alright. Hyper!" Owen called out, then his hyper beetle few by and he caught it and placed it on the side of his belt. "Hyper mode!" Then he pushed the lever, HYPER MODE! and now he is changed into his hyper armor. HYPER BEETLE!
"Hyper Timer!" And Owen pressed his hyper beetle HYPER TIMER! and he began to sprint rapidly and he began to fight the Clone Riders and Acarina Amber.
He blocked the three clones' attacks and he took out his beetle blaster in ax mode and began to strike them down, and Owen is now facing the Shadowbug. Acarina Amber started to blast him, but Owen avoided the shots and Owen saw and opening. He ran toward him as he avoided the shots, and with his ax in hand, Owen struck Acarina Amber in the chin which causes him to fall down and drop Micro Chips' dragonfly. TIME OUT!
Now that the timer has been deactivated and Acarina Amber to revert back to being a Shadowbug.
"Now let's finish this." said Owen as he took out the Perfect Beetle, and just as Acarina Amber got back up Micro Chips' dragonfly attached itself to the sword, and Owen changed it into it's blaster mode and he pressed the button DRAGONFLY POWER! and he pulled the trigger. HYPER SHOOTING! Owen open fired and the one laser split into multiple lasers and they struck Acarina Amber.
"I have failed you master!" Acarina Amber yelled, and he fell down and he exploded, destroying him and the Clone Riders escaped.
Later at the warehouse, Dark Connor sat on his throne waiting for any reports, then Hector came.
"So Professor, any news?" asked Dark Connor.
"Yes." Hector started to explain. "The Shadowbug that we created was destroyed, but we managed to gather its dna." he said, which made Dark Connor grin.
"Perfect. Soon my final stage will begin." said Dark Connor as he looked at his left hand, which started to become insect-like.
