I really can't complain

'bout the speaking just in rhyme

So long as they remember

To pay the rent on time.

Holmes has got the pipe

That he never seems to smoke

And frankly I prefer that to

What-son and his telescope.

(What is he looking at?

Does he know that he's on land?

If he doesn't stop that spying

Imma tell him to pound sand!)

No, really, they're all right

Despite the clients that they see

Some are quite respectable

And some are ehhhhhh . . . sketchy.

Can't say I'm too fond of new

Strangers every week

(I'm talkin' 'bout that Jimmy M

With thunder when he speaks)

But hey, it pays their bills

And they keep their noises low

So if they mind their businesses,

Then I will mind my own.

She is the queen bee

Of two-twenty-one B

She makes Baker Street a true home.

She is the reason why

Everyone toes the line.
