Inside the Imperium palace. Dr. LaRow and her assistant are currently holding Arin and Sora at gunpoint. "Ugh. Such a waste, Ana. You were the brightest student I'd ever seen."
Arin frowns turning to Sora. "Ana?" He asked in confusion, then turns to LaRow. "You've got your wires crossed, scientist lady." He points at Sora. "That's Sora."
"We named the dragon, Sora." LaRow told him, keeping her steady on both.
Sora turns to her friend. "My birth name is Ana." She revealed.
Arin blinked. "Oh." He rubbed the back of his head. "Now I'm embarrassed."
"Hm." LaRow smirked. "Maybe you don't know your friend as well as you thought." A noise is heard and she turns to see Riyu trying to escape his cage. "Oh, you won't get your elemental spark through the impenetrable walls of that cage." She turns her attention back to Sora. "I know you get your energy off that dragon. Seems you and I aren't that different, both using these beasts for power."
Sora shook her head. "No. You drain them. You hurt them. Riyu shares his powers. His choice."
"You use that dragon when you need him, just as I use mine. Maybe you learned more in my lab than you realized. But not enough to know how to pick the winning side." LaRow walks over to a counsel and activates her communicator, showing them the battle outside. Sora gasps. "That's right. I'm going to make you two watch as your friends."- She stops short when the ground shakes, making everyone stumble around.
"What's happening, doctor?" Her assistant asked.
"I … I don't know."
Sora turns to look at Arin. "Another MergeQuake?" She asks.
"Feels different." He answered. "Maybe it's … hope."
The two turn to watch the as Monastery Of Imperium rise from the ground. The Smith family and another Ninja leap out. "Ninja never quit!" They announce on screne.
"Hello hope." Sora said as she and Arin smile. "Welcome to the party." She and Arin look at each other, before they tackle the two scientists.

Outside, Lloyd approaches the Ninja who had just arrived. "Zane!" He smiles and the two hug.
"Will!" Nya beams in delight, jumping into his arms and he spins her in a circle, before setting her down.
"How did you guys get here?" Lloyd asked as he watched Will give Raya a hug, then give Kai a brotherly hug. "Kai, you and Raya are suppose to be at the Monastery and Nya, weren't you staying at the Cloud Kingdom?"
"Lloyd, your uncle is haunting his own Monastery." Raya folds her arms. Lloyd frowns at her.
"What are you talking about?"
"I think it's finally time for you to face the facts Lloyd." Kai said. "Master Wu loves to be cryptic and being mystery fortune cookies, meant to torcher us." He folds his arms.
"I was only activated moments ago." Zane said when Lloyd looks at him.
"Will, where have you been?" Raya asks. "And you're furry in the face too."
William laughed as he rubbed his stubby chin. "That is gonna have to wait until we're back home."
"What are you waiting for!?" The Empress demanded at her army. "Get them!"
Ras jumps up to a Photac, kicking off a Claw Hunter, then charge forward.
Kai looked around. "Lloyd, didn't you come here to stop the Photacs? Cause now there's a lot more!"
"Yeah. The plan changed like always, and all hell broke loose, like always." Lloyd said as he, William, Nya Kai, and Zane activated their powers. "Fight the beasts, help the dragons. Oh, and the wild kid is on our side."
Kai lowered his arms, his hands still lit. "What wild kid?" He then sees Wyldfyre with the dragons with her own powers activated. "Is she doing fire!?" He yelled, raged.
"That's not fair!" Raya cried. "I'm suppose to have dad's power!" She stomps her feet. "I'm the kid of Kai Smith! Me, me, me!" She tantrums.
"She can't do fire!" Kai yells, stilled raged. "Fire's my thing!" He leaps into battle.
"Not fair! Not fair!" Raya ranted, still having a tantrum. "Who is that Wilma Flintstone!? I'm."-
"Raya!" Nya snapped. "This is not the time or the place for one of your tantrums!"
"But."- Raya tried to argue.
"Not the time!" Nya cut her off.
Lloyd turns his attention to Zane. "What is that thing?" He points at the building.
"When I interfaced with it, it self-identified as the "Monastery of Imperium". It shares similarities with our own Monastery Of Spinjitzu."
Nya turns to the green Ninja. "Any tips you're not sharing on how to bust these things up?"
The blonde shook his head. "You can't. They're indestructible."
"Oh. That's an important detail. You were gonna mention that WHEN?!" Nya yells at him.
"We're buying time. Sora and Arin still have a plan." Lloyd told the anger Ninja. "I think." He quickly added.
"If they don't. I do!" Raya walks up to Nya, placing her hand on her aunt's arm.
Nya stared at her niece. "What are you doing?"
Raya frowns, looking down at her hand. "How does mom copy powers?" She shrugs. "Oh well." She turns, and places a hand on Lloyd's shoulder. "This has to do." With that she turns and runs for the palace.
"Raya!" Nya yelled.
Kai is suddenly thrown in their direction, Zane catching him in his arms.
"Now is not the time for a party!" The fire Ninja yelled, flaming his hands. "Lloyd!" He snaps, before leaping back into the battle.
"What's his problem?" William asked.
"You missed out on a lot of stuff, Will." Lloyd said, patting his friend on the back.

Raya found the Lab where Arin, Sora and Riyu are. It did take her awhile, but she finally found it, just as she hears a gun going off.
"You'll never escape the vengeance of your lifelong nemesis, Ana!"
Raya pokes her head into the lab.
"Who even are you?" Sora asks, and the assistant growls with anger, before reminding Sora about the past.
"Since then, I've devoted myself to achieving more than you. I even took your spot at the Advanced Systems Lab, and everyone says I'm way better than you'd have been."
"Wait." Sora pushes herself to stand. "I think I remember you. Was your hair a different color, maybe?"
That angered the assistant even more. "No! It was always this color!" She shoots at them, while LaRow slips away.

"Not bad fire." Wyldfyre complimented Kai after he used his power. "But don't worry. I'll give you pointers later."
Kai stared at her. "What!?" He demands, then turns to Lloyd. "There can't be two Elemental Masters of Fire at the sometime! It's impossible! Also it's rude!"
"I can't make sense of it either, which is pretty much how everything's been going for me lately." Lloyd told him.
Zane uses his powers to create an ice wall around them. "I have calculated our odds of winning this battle."
"Oh fun." Kai replied. "I'm guessing they're pretty solid."
"Retreat is our only option." Zane said simply, still use to all the satanisms during the years of being a Ninja and living under Master Wu's roof.
Lloyd turns to him. "Retreat to where?" He asks. "We're trapped in the middle of Imperium."
"The second monastery. Its fortified walls will keep the Photacs out. At least temporarily." Zane answered.
"No retreat!" Wyldfyre yelled. "No surrender!"
"Cave kid's right." Kai agreed. "We're in this fight, so let's fight."
"I still can't reach Arin Sora on the coms." Lloyd told him. "And only hope is to give them time for their plan. Barricading ourselves in the monastery could buy us that time."
Wyldfyre grunts. "Fine. Let's do your cowardly plan." She roars. "Dragons, attack! Dragons, go!" She leads the dragons into the Monastery.
"Uh, sis. Where's Raya?" Kai asks, turning to Nya.
Nya turns to him. "She went to go find and help Arin and Sora."
Kai's eyes nearly bugged out of his head. "She what!? You let her go!?"
"She fled before I could stop her!"
Zane came up to push himself between the siblings. "Please, we must not loose focus on the task at hand."

In the palace. Raya charged at the assistant, kicking her away from from Arin.
"Raya!" Arin gasped, then smiled.
"Hey!" The assistant turns to her. "Who are you?"
"Just call me the ember of the fire Ninja, who's outside right now!" Raya thrust her arms out, but wind came out from the other end. "That's not fair!" Raya squeaked, her face red as she looked at her hands. "I didn't even touch Will." She thrust her hands out again. "How does mom's powers work?" She grunts as she thrusts her arms out again. This time Lloyd's Energy flew out and hit the Assistant.
The girl cried out and dropped her gun when Lloyd's power slammed into it.
"Yes!" Raya cheered, jumping and punching the air. "Score!"
"Raya!" Arin tackled her when a laser flew at her, the teens hit the floor and slid.
"Raya, are you done clowning around?" Sora scolded, hands on hips.
"Who's clowning?" Raya asked as she and Arin stood up. "Let's try this again!" She thrust her arms out and this time water flew out and doused the Assistant, "Yes!" Raya cheers, bouncing. "Another score!"
The Assistant sat up, coughing and shoving her hair out of her face. "You can't hide behind your friends, Ana!"
Raya paused. "I am Raya Leah Smith! First born to the one and only Master Of Fire!" She said proudly.
"I'm not talking to you! I'm talking to her!" The Assistant points at Sora.
"Huh?" Raya blinks, she turns to Sora, then to Arin. "Did I miss something?" She asked, completely lost.
"Sora's name is really Ana." He explained, they watched as Sora easily dodges the Assistant's laser sword.
"So she's been using an alias?" Raya asked. "Why?"
He shook his head. "I'm not sure I believe it. But come on, we gotta get Riyu!"
"Right."
Sora easily takes the sword. "Seriously." She turns to her two friends. "I still don't remember her."
"Are you suppose too?" Raya asked.
"We need Riyu first!" Arin said urgently. "Then we can play 20 questions!"
Together the three friends ran for Riyu, suddenly Ras leads in front of them.
"You'll go no further."

Inside the closed gates of the Monastery of Imperium, the Ninja watch the gate as it shakes from all the force that the enemy was giving it.
"Raya!" Kai yelled into his communicator. "Raya, come in! It's dad! Can you hear me?" Nothing.
"The coms must still be down." Lloyd guest.
Kai turned to glare at him. "No shit, genius!" He snaps. He puts his hand on his ear piece. "Raya, answer me right now!"
"Kai!" Nya snaps. "We're all keyed up, we don't need you adding to the fire!"
"Fire! Nya!" Kai turns to her. "I'm the fire Ninja! Sis! Me!" He yells. "I'm the current Master Of Fire!" He looks around at all the dragons, Wyldfyre and his friends. "Where is Skylor!? Huh!" He started to look like a wild forest fire that was starting to get out of control. "Skylor! W."- His rant and raging is cut short when he's doused by water.
"Kai calm down!" Nya yelled with anger. "We need to focus on getting these dragons out safely." She walked over to her brother. "Kai, we will find Skylor."
"Kai." Zane moves to the siblings. "Skylor is just as strong as Lloyd. Her father was Master Chen, who brought the second Serpentine War." He reminds. "Skylor is strong." He places his hand on his shoulder. "We sill find her."
William leans to Lloyd. "What'd I miss?" He asked.
Lloyd sighed. "A lot." He answered as he moves. "Back to our current situation. We need Sora to shut down those Photacs."
Nya turns to the portal they came through. "While we're waiting for her to do that. We get the dragons out of here." She points to it. "That's how we came here. If we could activate it again, we could send all these dragons somewhere safe."
"Would that work?" Lloyd asked.
Zane turns to study the gate. "This gate appears to be linked to our Monastery. But it is designed for smaller transports. Based on its power readings, it could not handle the transfer of this many dragons."
"Can we increase the power of that portal gate?" Lloyd asked.
"It would need to be an extraordinarily large increase." Zane told him.
"We're right outside the palace." Nya replied. "I bet there's something in there that could power the gate up."
Zane turns back to the gate and scans it. "I do detect a tremendous energy source. It is not in the palace. It is beneath us. I have never seen such a singular reserve of energy."
"Like a giant battery?" William asked.
"That'd explain why this kingdom would need a large source." Lloyd added.
"Whatever you're gonna do, do it now." Kai said, a bit more calmer now. "These things are gonna break through any minute."
Lloyd looks around at the floor. "If this weird version of a monastery is anything like our home, then under these four plates." He starts hopping across the floor. "Should be an old obstacle - ah!" He screams as he falls down a flight of hidden stairs.
"Lloyd!" William yelled, they were all startled.
"I'm ok! And I found a way out!" Lloyd called. "Zane! I need you down here!"

Ras faces the three teenagers while still in the palace. "Give up, and we will spare your lives. The alternative is, I will crush the life out of all three of you. Either way, that dragon will belong to me."
"He's just a baby!" Raya sneers. "Are you really that cold to suck the life out of a baby!" She moves forward, Arin nervously reaches for her left wrist. "I'll show you cold!" She jerks her wrist free and shoots at Ras, nothing happened. "Uh … oh." She stepped backwards and quickly hid behind Arin.
"You have a tongue, don't you?" Ras hisses. "I'll enjoy taking you out first!"
"Not gonna happen captain." Raya stuck her tongue out at him. "The red Ninja outside is my dad. Anything happens to me, my dad will burn your ugly dog face right off you, then he'll burn this whole damn kingdom to the ground!"
"Raya, don't get him angry." Arin said nervously.
"Too late!" Ras charges at the three. The teens are quick to dodge the attacks.
At some point, Sora leaps onto Riyu's cage. "Up here, ugly!" She's able to get Ras' attention and Arin trips him from behind, and Raya thunder kicked Ras into the cage.
Raya looks around, before finding some rope. Running to it, she grabs it and rushes up. "Let's tie him up!"
"Did we win?" Arin asked. "Did that stop him?"
"It knocked him." Raya said as she and Sora tied Ras up. "But that's it."

Ras finally wakes up. "You are nothing but feeble gnats!" He struggled against the ropes.
"Feeble gnats? As opposed to those really strong gnats, I guess?" Arin grins, Sora laughs.
"Nice Arin."
"You cannot comprehend the enormity of my plans! You are insignificant." Ras breaks free of the rope, then charges at Arin, knocking him down with his hammer.
"Arin!" Raya cried as he's thrown into the wall, knocking him unconscious. She ran to him, grabbing him and gently laid his head on her lap.
"Arin!" Sora cried, she turns to Ras and tries to attack, but he knocks her backwards into a control panel.
"You should have taken the first option." Ras told her.

"You didn't really think you had a chance, did you?" Ras questioned Sora.
The pink haired teen turns to him, still leaning against the panel. "You didn't really pay attention to where you punched me to, did you?" She moved to reveal Riyu's now free.
Riyu leaps out of his cage, and his eyes open - powering Sora up, and she traps the enemy with the bent cage.
Arin slowly awoke.
"Arin, are you ok?" Raya asked as she and Sora help him up.
"I think so, what happened?" He rubs the back of his head, then he sees Ras in the bent cage. "Wow. I have questions."
Raya smiled as she petted Riyu. "Are you ok, little guy?" She cooed at him, and giggled as the dragon licked her.
"Riyu, I'm so sorry!" Arin apologized, he yelps when the animal tackles him and licks him.
"I think you're forgiven." Sora said with a smirk.

The adult Ninja, Wyldfyre and the dragons are anxiously waiting. "Any time, Lloyd and Zane." Nya said.
Kai walked up to his sister. "We've face worse, sis." She gives him a look. "Uh, maybe not."
Suddenly behind them, Lloyd burst through the ground, glowing with with green energy.
Wyldfyre turns to the Smith siblings. "Could he always do that?"
"Lloyd has many secrets." Kai answered. "You have to see his family tree." He leans his arm on his sister's shoulder. "His wife is the only normal one."
With no word, Lloyd turns to the gate, using his powers to charge the portal, opening it and the dragons runs through in a single file line. Once they're gone, the portal looses power and Lloyd collapses unconscious. Zane runs to catch him, just as Rapton finally burst through the doors.
"Where are they!? Where are the dragons?"
"Dragons?" Kai questioned, folding his arms as he stood next to his sister. "I don't see any dragons?" He turns to Nya. "What about you sis?"
Nya shook her head. "No dragons here, big brother."
Rapton growls. "We will crush you! Claws of Imperium, tear this ninja apart — whoa!" He cries as the Photac beasts begin to glitch.
"Uh, what's happening?" William asks, he's standing on the other side of Nya.
"My Photacs!" The Empress gasps. "My beautiful Photacs!"
"They're my Photacs!" Sora announces as she, Raya and Arin arrive. "They're my invention!" She destroys the beasts, and they vanish, when she does Rapton tumbles down the flight of stairs.
"Oh, not the face!" He cried when Sora walked up to him, she then steps on him. "Ugh, my back!"
"Dad!" Raya cried.
"Ouch!" Rapton cried when she ran over him to reach the Ninja and tackle Kai.
Arin and Sora hurry over to the Ninja. "Where are all the dragons?" Arin asked, Riyu sitting on his shoulders.
William points to the portal. "They way."
"Where we should be going right now!" Nya added, the Ninja turn and run through the portal, disappearing through it.
Rapton pushes himself up off the ground. "No one escapes from Rapton!" He runs to the portal, buts slams into the door. "Ugh." He rubs his nose. "At least on one saw that."
"No one?" The Empress questioned, coming up to him. "The dragons are gone. The Ninja have insulted me. And I am surrounded by nothing but incompetence!" She strikes the ground, causing boulders to fall near Rapton, making him jump away in fright.

Sometime later. Back home in Ninjago and at the Monastery Of Spinjitzu. Lloyd is in his bedroom, lying on his bed. Chantal gently pats his forehead with a damp washcloth, when she moves, he slowly started to wake.
Then he bolted up, eyes wide, and Chantal gasped.
"Lloyd?" Her voice shook.
He turns to her. "Chantal?" He looks around, finding himself in his bedroom of his uncle's Monastery. "Our?" He was completely confused. "What?"
"Oh Lloyd!" Chantal cried, tackling him back down as she starts to cry.
He held her close. "H, how long was I out?" He muttered to himself as he held Chantal tightly. "Chanti, I'm ok." He reassured gently, kissing the side of her head. "Really, I guess I needed that nap."
"You were out for weeks!" She cried, snuggling into him.
"Chanti, I'm sorry I scared you."
She finally pulls away from him, allowing him to sat back up. She grabs his face and kisses him. "Please don't do that again." She begged. "I do not want to raise our son alone again."
"You won't." Lloyd said firmly, he kissed her gently. "Come on. I need to show my face to the others."

Sora and Riyu are in the courtyard and turn when the door opens to reveal the green Ninja. "Lloyd!" Sora smiled, as Riyu squeals in delight and runs and jumps onto Lloyd's chest, knocking him back to his back again and laughs as the dragon licks his face with his tail waging.
"And you're training … on your own?" Chantal asked as Riyu climbs off Lloyd, letting him sit up.
"Uh, yeah. Uh, look, I still don't know if these are my powers or Riyu's, but I realize now I have a responsibility to use them. Not sure where this is gonna take me, but I'm excited to find out."
Lloyd looked around. "Where's everyone else?"
"Probably in the new dragon stables."
Lloyd frowns. "New dragon stables?"
"You sleep for days, a lot changes. Some of the freed dragons want to stay here. Even that fire child, who may or may not have burnt a hole in your uncle's old carpet." She gestures towards the burnt carpet.
Lloyd cried out, running up to it. "Please tell me, she didn't hurt anything else?" He asked with complete worry as he fussed over the display he has for his uncle, trying to fix it and make it look all perfect again.
The door next to him, slides open and Nya jumps into his arms. "Look who decided to rejoin the living! Welcome back." She smiles, pulling away from him.
"We got a lot to catch up on. Uh, you hovered and your eyes were all white and — and you had powers like I've never seen! Zane told us what happened, but really, what happened?" Kai asked.
Lloyd rubbed the side of his head. "I'm still trying to figure it out myself. I saw things. Visions." He turns to Chantal, taking her hand. "And they weren't all good." He turns to see Arin who was near the gates and looking glum as he sits with his back against the wall. Lloyd squeezed his wife's hand before letting go.
"I'm going to make a big dinner!" Chantal annoyances with a big smile. "We need to celebrate like the old days!"
"May I help you?" Zane asked her.
She smiled. "Of course you can!"
The two walk back into the building, the others follow.
Lloyd walks over to Arin. "Hey, Arin. You ok?"
"I'm fine." The teen tried to be cheerful, smiling at him "Glad to see you're awake."
"I know that look Arin." Lloyd sat next to him. "You don't seem fine."
The teen looked back down at the ground in front of him. "I knew when all this started, it was probably temporary, cause the other ninja were gone."
"What was temporary?"
"Training, learning, me becoming a real Ninja. I get it. If you have all of them, you don't need me anymore."
"Arin, you could be a better Ninja than any of us." Lloyd told him. "You taught yourself Spinjitzu." He smiled. "You have the potential to be the greatest Ninja that's ever existed." His smile fades. "This really isn't about training, is it?"
Arin continued to look down. "I lost my parents in the Merge. I guess I've been trying to find a new family ever since." His shoe pokes a hole in the ground. "Raya thinks I'm being selfish, she keeps reminding me that we all lost someone. She doesn't get it! I don't have siblings, or aunts and uncles. It was just me and them."
"You have a family Arin." Lloyd said firmly. "The Ninja take care of each other, just like a real family does. You now have Sora, Riyu and Wyldfyre. One thing I know about family is that it's just like being a Ninja. There's always room to grow." He smiles as he give Arin his old hood.
