The conferences go smoother for Rey although she is thankful to have only one more day left. All of the talks have been interesting but the day itself is tiring to keep up. Rey heads back to her hotel room and hears her phone buzz as the door closes. Smiling, she pulls out her phone and opens her messages. Her hand covers her mouth as a gasp of delighted shock escapes her mouth. The picture Ben sends is his best one yet with him working at her coffee table surrounded by her plant loves.
The caption he writes is the cutest one yet reading, "Who knew plants could be so informative. Definitely hiring some for my team at work." Rey giggles aloud and sends a picture of her own after hearting his picture.
Ben is once again stunned by the sheer beauty he sees in Rey's photo. Her caption makes him grin widely as he reads, "When I get home, we'll talk logistics and salary." Even if she didn't include a winking emoji, Ben could still feel her wink and smiles even more. He texts back how nice she looks when all he wants to do is change the word "nice" to a string of words like "beautiful, perfect, stunning, radiant, gorgeous," just to start. Rey blushes from his words and sends a blushing emoji back to him. She blushes even more when he texts her how much he likes her blushing. He is surprised when he receives another picture from her.
Just when he thought his heart couldn't melt anymore than it already has for her, he feels his heart explode in his chest. He chuckles lightly at her caption which reads, "I don't know if you can see it under this face mask, but I'm still blushing." Ben responds back with a winking emoji and Rey repeats her blushing emoji. After a few minutes of regular texts back and forth, Rey pausing for a bit to wash her face mask off before bed, she gasps when she sees another plant picture from him.
Seeing Ben leaning on her little kitchen table with one of her babies sends her into a realm she's familiar with but has denied herself of visiting. His caption, "We miss you. Looking forward to you coming home soon," has her trembling. The picture she sends back has Ben blushing and grinning.
Her stunned but gorgeous face makes his body quiver in excitement and he waits anxiously for the three dots to reveal her caption. It reads, "I'll be home sooner than you think." It's Ben's turn to blush and he sends a blushing emoji to her before wishing her a good night. Rey replies with her own good night and a heart emoji, smiling to herself as she thinks about the new plan she's setting into motion.
"It's time," she whispers to herself.
