With a small smile, they arrive at UA side by side with Bakugou, ready to take the entrance exam. Passing through the gate and taking in the architecture of the school, they take the opportunity to look over the other candidates here for the test. Many seem to have trained quite hard to get here, and they personally hope that those who pass provide their friend with a good, but manageable, challenge. They can feel his frustration with them either holding back or wiping the floor with him, sometimes both at once.
Moving into the auditorium, they take their seat next to Bakugou and wait for the presentation to begin.
Soon, the lights on the stage come on and Presentation Motorcycle strides onto the stage, a massive grin on his face.
He clears his throat, "Before we begin, I'd like to take a moment to welcome you cool cats to the UA Entrance Exams! Can I get a YEAH?!"
Deciding to humor the Hero, both they and Bakugou call out, "Yeah!"
The man on stage smiles wider, "Love the energy you two! Now then, let's get into what you came here for. ALRIGHT!"
Again responding to his call, the two echo the man, "Alright!"
Present Mic pumps a fist, happy that someone finally responded during one of his presentations, before continuing, "Anyway, for today's practical exam, you all will be sent out to different test sites for simulated Villain combat! In this test, points are scored for taking out our faux Villains, and the number of points are based on which kind of bot you took out. There are three kinds, each worth a number of points from one to three. Any questions so far?"
A tall boy with glasses and a head of short, dark blue hair raises his hand, standing as Present Mic calls on him, "It would appear that on the sheet handed out at the door, there are four types of enemy! If this is an error, it would certainly reflect poorly on this prestigious school!"
They feel this is a little unfair to say, as Present Mic was probably saving that part for closer to the end of the presentation, as based on the information from the paper it will operate in a different manner than the other robots.
The boy then turns towards them and Bakugou, "And you two! You've been quite disruptive so far! Can you not tell we're all trying to listen?"
While Bakugou reacts with anger, yelling at the boy over how wrong he is, they choose a more subtle route. Locking eyes with the boy, their eyes speak of their vast disapproval with how the boy handled this situation, causing him to flinch.
Before the situation can move any further, Present Mic takes back control, "Alright listeners, no need to get so worked up! That fourth bot is worth a whole zero points, so it's really just a distraction, ya dig? Now, before I send you out to your test sites, I'll give you all a little gift! Our school motto! The great 'Hero' Napoleon once said that a true Hero is someone who is superior to all the ills of life. So go beyond!"
Knowing what's coming, they and Bakugou get ready to join in, along with a few other students.
"PLUS ULTRA!"
Afterwards, the students all go to find their testing sites and prepare for the trial ahead. Arriving on the field, they can't help but wonder if this test will render any sort of challenge to them, though it's highly unlikely.
Soon enough, the doors open and the go is given, with them running off into the fake city while the other students are left surprised at the sudden start.
Seeing a robot, they easily skewer it and move on, slicing another in half with their arm acting as an axe. Running through the test site, they leave more and more robotic corpses in their wake, leaving almost none for the other participants.
Turning after dispatching another robot, they see a teen with levitating purple hair getting pressed from all sides, rubble raining down around him. Acting quickly, they move the boy out of danger with a chain, but leave him close enough to the robots to spot something unique to their design. A hidden off switch.
Quickly running forward, the boy is able to tap a few of the buttons an earn himself some points. Before he can try and thank his rescuer though, they're already gone.
As the time begins to run down, they see fewer and fewer robots roaming the area, being claimed by the other students. Eventually though, the situation changes. The ground begins to shake and buildings near the center of the arena are starting to crumble. Quickly moving toward the commotion, they see an absolutely gargantuan robot making its way around, a large zero painted on the side of its head.
While most of the other participants turn and run, they hear a lone cry for help being dampened by the commotion. Hurrying over, they find a girl trapped under a slab of rubble. Easily moving the obstruction with inhuman strength, they pull the girl into their arms and start moving her out of harm's way.
When the girl is safe, they turn back towards the zero pointer and decide that it can't be allowed to continue. Running toward it, they align their aim with its head and begin firing off chains, each one flying true and skewering it until it eventually shuts down.
As the test is called to a close they make for the exit with a small smile, ready to see their friend again.
