"You're always free to come back and visit." Namor says hugging Niecalli. "We will miss you," as he lets go and gives her a peck on the forehead.
"If someone is being hostile towards you, don't hesitate and mess them up." Attuma declares when Namor lets go. "That's what training is for."
Niecalli is surprised. She is expecting these kinds of advice from Namora and not Attuma. He is not the type of person to say things like these, preferring to stay quiet and let his actions do the work. Do not get it wrong, Namora prefers to be quiet as well but she is more vocal with threats and warnings.
"He's right Nayeli! You're stronger than people there. They are way in over their heads if they dare look down on you." Ah. There it is.
"That's not really something you should teach her." Namor interjects before they can add more. "Make sure you assess the situation first before anything else."
Niecalli gives a nod, smiling. She turns to Attuma and Namora for one last goodbye. Both of them are not very affectionate people, so she is dumbfounded when Namora pulls her into a hug and Attuma puts a hand on her shoulder and places his forehead on hers.
As she turns to leave, "Nayeli wait!," she hears someone shout from a distance which stops her from her tracks. She sees Pializtli swimming their way and stops in front of her.
"I have another gift for you!" He exclaims as he hands her something. Niecalli looks down at her hands and sees a compact cylinder, made of vibranium, that is a few inches in length.
"It's a whistle. You can use it to call for anyone from Talokan." Pializtli adds. "It has an adjustable slider and dials to change the tone and frequency depending on who you want to call. Although, depending on where you are it might take us a few days to arrive."
Niecalli puts the end of the whistle to her lips and blows. "There's no sound coming out."
"You hold it like this"–Pializtli adjusts the whistle in Niecalli's hands horizontally– "and you blow into this hole here" –pointing at the hole in the middle of the whistle– "like a flute."
Niecalli retries it and blows into the whistle, creating whale-like tunes and clicks. As she moves the slider, a different frequency comes out. She stops and wraps her arms around Pializtli's waist, giving him a tight hug. "Thank you, Way!"
"Call us whenever."
"I will! I'll be on my way then!" As she gives all of them one last hug and swims away.
Niecalli has been swimming for hours since Namor has given her the privilege of picking which part of the above ground she will surface on. As she tries to decide, she hears a loud ripple somewhere along the way, halting her swim. She looks around, finding a hood submerged from the bank.
Swimming to the object to investigate, she sees – a car.
