"Mina." The sound of Ta'si-An's voice jerked Ian out of his semi-conscious state, and he turned his head on the pillow to look at the strange, exotic and truly wonderful woman lying on her back next to him in the bed. She had been looking up at the ceiling, and now looked at him as she said "Mina. That was my...Ooman name."

Following their initial kiss, things had progressed quickly for Ian and Ta'si-An, with the two of them swiftly ending up in Ian's bedroom. His clothes and her armour cast aside, he had kissed her black netting as he carefully removed it, and once that was done they fully gave vent to their mutual passion. The sweat of their intense love drying on their nude bodies, Ta'si-An told Ian her story, and he told her his, the two of them bound in trust. As they shared their tales, their hands roamed over one another, and before long it was again time for them to share more than just stories.

"I know how you feel, Ian," she said to him the next morning as they stood together in the warm sunlight outside his home. "But...they are my family. I have to go back." Again she stroked his face. "Understand?" she asked.

Ian stroked Tasi-An's face as he said "Goodbye, and take care...Mina."

Months went by. Ian walked alone in the woods, sat alone in his house, and his thoughts dwelled on the woman called both Mina and Ta'si-An. Half a year must have gone by, when one morning he stepped outside his door to find on the porch a basket made of no material that he could identify, and in the basket, wrapped in blankets, were two tiny infant children. His children. Their children.

OOOOOOOOOOOO

Toward the light shining from the depths of the forest Ian walks, little Paul and Erin held in his arms. They cry a little, afraid of this dark place, and he reassures them "Shhh, it's okay. Don't be scared. You're about to meet someone...very special to all of us." In a few short moments they emerge from the undergrowth into a wide, grassy clearing that is occupied by a magnificent, shining vessel descended from the heavens, its ramp lowered to the ground. Another figure waits for them. A figure in the helmet and armour of a Predator. Seeing them, the Predator approaches, making no sound. Then, when there are only inches between them, the Predator reaches up and removes the helmet...revealing the face of Ta'si-An, whose eyes gleam with tears as she looks at those come out to meet her. Ian's voice chokes with emotion as he says "Hello, Ta'si-An. We're here."

Ta'si-An's helmet lands with a soft thud on the ground at her feet. Paul and Erin do not take their eyes off of her as she comes closer, though they are no longer afraid. Instead they smile, and it is shared by the woman who reaches out, gently strokes their small faces, and says "Hello. I'm so happy to see you both again...I am your mother."
