"Everyone seems to be telling me what I am so much that I don't know anymore," he said. "Am I a demon, a dragon, or a human" he cried. "I just want to know."
"Well, to me, your just Natsu," Lisanna admitted. "Demon, dragon, human, no matter what, I still love you," she said as she pressed their foreheads together. "And as much as it hurt, as much as I want to drag you to the other side," she said, tears appearing on her face. "I know you can't be with me just yet," she whispered. "I know I'll have to wait till the next life for you and me to be together." she stopped when she felt Natsu grab her face.
"you'll always have a place in my heart," Natsu told her, "and you know what? I figured it out," Natsu smiled. "Why you're here."
"Why," Lisanna asked as he wiped her tears.
"it was you," Natsu smiled around the Igneel Anna, and Zeref appeared. "Zeref made me, and thus I was born a demon; Anna taught me and gave me a soul; Igneel raised me and made me a warrior, a dragon slayer" he looked at Lisanna. "But you," he whispered. "You taught me what it meant to be human."
"So, have you figured out an answer yet," Igneel asked.
"Of who you are, Natsu," Zeref said.
"We wish to hear your answer," Anna asked.
"I did," Natsu smiled. "I know."
"who I am." he said, "you told me that the seeds inside of me fight for dominance, but no matter what I choose, I'd be losing a part of myself, so I won't," he said. "Because dragon, demon, human, it won't change who I am in my heart."
"you don't get it, boy," Igneel said. "The seeds continue to fight."
"so I'll bring them together," Natsu said, "because I already know the answer, like Sensei said. I know who I am,"
"If you do that, there's no telling what will become of o you," Igneel said
"you could die, Natsu," Anna said
"Are you sure you can take that risk," Zeref asked
"I am," Natsu smiled, "cause in the end, I'll just have to live my life."
"with an open heart."
Alvarez arc: The Children of Magnolia
Natsu shot up, shocking Mira and happy as they jumped back; he turned to them with a smile on his face. "Hey, you two," Natsu smiled as Mira jumped on him.
"Natsu, your okay," Mira cried as she brought him in for a hug. "What happened."
"I'll explain later; what's going on," he asked.
"It's August," Mira said "he's; the only one on the left," he looked around. "I think we're in the part, but I don't know what happened to Erza," she looked down. "It turns out this Irene Belserion was her mother."
"Aye, and August is rampaging around town," Happy said as Natsu stood up. "What are we going to do."
"We find Erza first," Natsu said as he walked around the corner seeing Erza leaning against a wall. "Hey."
"Natsu," Erza whispered before shooting up and running to him. "You okay" she cried as she hugged him, smiling. Natsu hugged her back. "thank goodness," she cried. "I thought," she stated.
"Sorry about that," Natsu smiled. "I'm alright now."
"you took out Irene," Mira asked
"yes, I did," Erza said
"you look terrible," Mira laughed
"Like you can talk," Erza shot back when a large explosion broke out. The trio turned to its source "Cardia cathedra, huh" Natsu smiled at the thought. "Come on," he said
"you are going to need this," Happy smiled as he held up his scarf. "You just don't look right without it," he smiled as Natsu took his scarf, wrapping it around himself.
"come on, team," Natsu said
"Our family needs us."
"so it's you," August said as Natsu rose from the smoke, his scarf flowing in the wind as he glared at "You finally have come out of hiding," he said as Natsu opened his eyes, looking back at August as the man stood up tapping his staff on the ground as he and Natsu had a stare of the air around them going quiet "chosen son our last encounter was cut short when Irene cast universe one this time there will be no interruptions," he said as everyone cheered as they had there stare down. "the will of his majesty will" he stopped when Natsu turned around walking towards Wendy.
"hey, kiddo," Natsu smiled. "you healed me up good; sorry if I worried you. I had to figure out the rest of that by myself," he smiled at her, "but everything alright now."
"Natsu," Wendy said with tears in her eyes. "You're okay," she shouted as she jumped up and hugged him. "I love you," she cried in his arms. "I love you so .much."
Natsu smiled, thinking about what he learned in his mind. "Love you, too, kid," he smiled as he kissed her forehead. "Come on," he smiled.
"But what about August," Wendy asked.
"we'll get to that" Natsu smiled as he walked her to everyone else.
"So, you done napping" Gildarts laughed as he sat Wendy beside him.
"you mind watching her," Natsu asked, "she has been through a lot."
"yeah," Gildarts asked. "You got this."
"you'll know when we'll need backup," Natsu smiled.
"you might want to pick this up," Gildarts laughed. "Grandpa over there looks like he's about to blow a fuse," he muttered. August had said little since Natsu had arrived, watching the dragon slayer movement, clearly baffled by his actions as Natsu turned to him and smiled, "But don't worry, good ol Gildarts has your back."
"Thanks," Natsu smiled. "Lucy Gray, you all okay."
"We are now," Lucy smiled.
"Natsu," Gray started,
"later, man," Natsu smiled. "I gotta take care of this," he told him as he turned to face August. "You can continue your villain speech now."
"Oh, it's no villain speech," August growled. "It's a question you have yet to answer."
"Well, then shoot," Natsu asked.
"why wasn't the king's son loved" August growled.
"no idea," Natsu told him.
"I should have guessed," August said. "I will enjoy destroying you where you stand.

"Bring it, old man," Natsu shouted as he rushed August, who blocked his attack, their combined power causing the ground around them to rise.
"Natsu," Mavis shouted.
"I got this, Ma," Natsu shouted as anger appeared on Augst's face as he hit Natsu away.
"you think this will allow you victory," August shouted as he kicked Natsu away.
"Natsu," Wendy said.
"Stay down and rest, kid," Gildarts said. "Natsu's got this."
"you're not going to help Him," Cana shouted.
"Nah," Gildarts smiled, "kid has this" he could see it in Natsu's eyes. He's learned a lot about himself. That fire in his eyes, one that's been gone for years, it's back and brighter than ever. "You see it don't you" he pointed to Natsu "The smile, the flare, the swift movement," he said as Cana stopped a mile, coming to her face. "Natsu's come full circle," he smiled. "he got back that fire in his eyes, I don't know what he's been through, but I can see that he's changed."
"he's different," Cana whispered.
"you're going to die," August shouted as he raised his staff "{hiemps}" he screamed as a large snowstorm surrounded Natsu, and he backed up.
"Natsu " Lucy shouted.
"hold on," Meredy shouted When. Natsu rushed in, grabbing the girl and jumping away, barely missing the attack as he landed next to Lucy. "Hey," she screamed.
"Natsu, let us help you."
"I got this," Natsu smiled as he rushed back in. "Man, this is cold," Natsu smiled. "At least you learned I can eat fire magic," Natsu laughed. "But let me show you my old trick," Natsu screamed. As he burst flames from his body, August backed up the heat Natsu created, causing stones around them to melt.
"damn, that's hot," everyone shouted.
"this heat is nothing," August shouted as she slammed the ground. Natsu dodged, appearing behind him; August looked back, and seeing the smile on Natsu's face made him angry "Why are you smiling like that" August spat. "This is not a moment of? Joy, you face the calamity of Alakitasia," she shouted as Natsu landed on the ground turning around to face him. "Your quiet," August growled, "where's the witty banter that you fairies love so much."
"no need," Natsu growled. "Cause this is going to be your last chance," he said, stepping forward. "for You and forces, I'm giving you a chance to surrender," he shouted as August attacked him again. Natsu jumped away. "There's no longer a need to continue this conflict," he shouted as he dodged August's attacks. "There's been enough bloodshed and heartbreak. From this war already."
"I am not Brandish," August shouted. "A few words will not tempt my faith," he screamed as she shined his staff in the sky. "his majesty's will is my own," he shouted. "I am his sword and faithful servant."
Natsu stepped back and exhaled a burst of flames. "If that's how it has to be," he muttered. He unleashed his fiery rage with a fierce shout, causing flames to erupt around him. As he entered his dragon force, he roared with power.
"that's," Meredy whispered, "it's almost as strong as when he used Igneel's power."
"Aye," Happy muttered.
"I know who I am," Natsu shouted. "I gave you a chance for peace, but you won't take it," he screamed. "So I'll take you down," he shouted. as he and August clashed again. August backed up a bit as he hit his head.
"you fool," August shouted. "Peace was never an option," August called. "You and your lot do not understand the gravity of our situation. Acnologia's power, if left unchecked, will cast the world into despair," he shouted. "We must do whatever it takes to stop him.
"even if you have to kill your comrades," Natsu shouted. "Even if your comrades have to die," he screamed as he jumped away. "You ordered one of your own to kill one of her friends," he yelled. "You don't find that wrong," he shouted.
"Brandish made her choice," August told Natsu. "My feeling about the matter does not matter," he told him. "What matters most to me is filling his majesty's desires," he said,
"then you are nothing but a slave," Natsu told him. August shouted as he punched Natsu away.
"Your friend combined power could not best me," he said. "What hope do you have."
"I'm chosen, son," Natsu said. "I always win; I always have a plan," Natsu said, "and stopping you is the only way I can keep my friends safe."
Flashback
"the power to defeat Zeref still resides in you, Natsu," Anna said. "You consumed Igneel's blood, and once more, you have mastered the power of the fire dragon king" She looked at him. "The only reason it's unbalanced is that you've lost sight of who you are." she looked away, "or, to be precise, you have yet to accept it."
"I know who I am," Natsu shouted. "I," he looked away, "I do; I'm a demon," he said, "No, I'm."
Anna embraced him. "Deep down, you already know the answer. Only when you acknowledge it will you unlock the power of the fire dragons?" She explained, "I always hoped that you, Meredy, Gajeel, and Wendy would have the freedom to live your own lives and make your own decisions. That's why I refrained from intervening when I located you."

End Flashback
"you say you want to best Acnoloiga, but you waste your forces on pointless conflict with us," Natsu shouted. "We could have worked together," Natsu told him. "There is no reason to cause more fighting than we have to," he shouted, "if we stand together, we probably stood a chance against him."
"oh please," August shouted. "I would never have anything to do with your lot."
"I'm trying to prevent further destruction, August," Natsu said. "You're important to the people of Alvarez, don't do this anymore,"
"Tell me, boy," August asked. "Irene said that you and your Dragonborn were the keys to stopping Acnoliga and ending the dragon king festival," he said as he looked him over. "I want to know how," he asked as Natsu said nothing. As they stopped fighting. as August's eyes winded in shock. "Because you can use it; you can use the."
"come on now don't spoil the surprise" Natsu laughed as he winked "me and the other dragon slayers will stop Acnoloiga, but it will be on our own terms" he said "we'll carve our own path" he shouted "I'm giving you the chance to do the same August, the world ddoesn;t need to be in this struggle of light adn dark, we can make it a better one" he gave one final smile "together we are more"
"Natsu," Mavis whispered.
"he gets that from you," Laxus said. "Your never-ending trust, your ability to see the light in even the darkest souls."
"I know," Mavis smiled.
"you're a damn fool," Augst shouted as he prepared to attack. "Now stand and fight me, for this battle will be your last fairy," he screamed as he blasted Natsu, creating a large explosion. A small tree appeared where he was standing. Mira stood Next to Natsu; behind them, A frown grew on August's face as he stepped back. "So, the chosen daughter appears," he whispered.

"I heard you're looking for me" Mira smiled as she took her Alegria form. "So here I am."
"what took you so long," Natsu asked.
"took a while," Mira said. "but we got your back, bro," Mira winked. "Tenrou Islands is an Island again, so Zera's power is limited." Mira told him, "You're going to need my help." she smiled, "but I figured I'd let you have your moment."
"yeah," Natsu told her, "August is not standing down."
"it's Mira," Lucy shouted,
"hell yeah, that bastard is in for it now."
"yeah, now the three children are here. You're done."
"Glad to know they're all right," Cana smiled.
"they'll be fine," Gildarts smiled, "but still," he looked at August, who seemed to have his attention on Natsu and Mira, "I wonder what going on in that head of his
"I see," August smiled as he jumped up to the ruins of the Cathedral. "Now the time has finally brought us all together," he muttered. he sat down, confusing Natsu and Mira as he leaned back. "Tell me, chosen son, chosen daughter, your Master Mavis. She is also your mother, yes," he asked as Natsu and Mira looked at each other Natsu looked a little antsy as August continued. "I have traveled the world and learned every magic it offers," he sighed. "But the one thing I have yet, to understand is the love for a parent and their child," he said, "so I was hoping for you, as adoptive children, could answer my question."
"why wasn't the king's son loved."
"that again," Natsu whispered.
"is he talking about Zeref," Mira asked.
"that's an odd question to ask," Gildarts muttered.
"Something about this guy," Wendy whispered, "he smells weird."
"what do you mean," Gildarts asked
"it's too crazy, but" Wendy shifted 'he smells like Zeref but also Mavis."
"do you mean Zeref" Mira asked.
August said nothing. "I wonder if I were to kill every child here," he asked. "How would their parents react" It was then that Natsu and Mira rushed him as August laughed, blocking both of their attacks. "So, is violence the answer to my query" he shouted.
"you're not harming anyone," Natsu and Mira shouted as they attacked August. As he laughed, jumping back.
"{Fire dragons kings: brilliant flame}" Natsu shouted.
"{evil explosion}," Mira shouted as August waved his hand, blocking the attacks.
"your power is remarkable, but mine is on another level," August shouted
"Mira, you can't use magic against him," Gildarts shouted, "you need to use something else."
"got it," Mira shouted as she rushed forward again "{impact}," she shouted "activating a curse and shocking August as Natsu appeared.
"{fire dragon: talon}" he shouted.
"damn curse power," August muttered as he tried to stand back up. "You will not best me," he screamed as his body started to glow red the yellow lines on his body glowed red, and the red on his body began to turn blue as Natsu and Mira slid back at the sudden output of power "his majesty will not be denied."
"what's going on now" Natsu shouted.
"This power is insane," Mira muttered.
"wait, I know this spell," Natsu muttered, "it's the spell that."
"Now feel the wrath of the wizard king," August shouted, a large magic circle. "{Jiu Leixing} he shouted as he fired nine lightning-made swords Natsu and Mira as they jumped away. 'You're majesty,' August muttered. "Forgive me, but he turned, seeing Mavis in the crowd. 'I will see you will to the end,' he said. "It will be my design," he shouted.
"Natsu, Mira," Mavis shouted. "Be careful."
"you will perish," August shouted as Natsu and Mira jumped out of the way.
"am I late" Erza called as she walked to the group
"take it easy, Erza," Happy said, "you still hurt really bad from your fight with Irene."
"Erza," Lucy shouted, running to her friend. "You okay."
"I'll be fine," Erza said, holding her side. "Natsu and Mira are going to need all the help they can get," she managed.
"her let me get that for you," Wendy said. "you're always rushing off when you have more broken bones than I think possible."
"Sorry," Erza whispered
"Nah, that's just what makes you, you Erza" She smiled at her friend
"It's like he's just unleashing magic power now," Mira shouted.
"We got this, sis," Natsu shouted as he rushed back into the fight. August blocked the attack. "Is that the best you can do" he shouted as he punched Natsu away.
"now perish," August shouted "{Jupiter}," he shouted as he fired a blast Erza appeared in her Adamantine armor, barely taking the hit.
"Erza" Natsu shouted.
"Sorry," Erza muttered. "my injuries from my battle with my mother won't stop me from helping you, too."
"take it easy, you too," Natsu said. "I'll take the lead on this one," he said, trying to give the two a break after their intense fights with the previous members of the spriggan twelve.
"not a chance," Erza told him. "Last time I checked, we're called the three children of Magnolia" She smiled at him, "So we take him together."
"So, the second daughter arrives," August growled. "You will all feel my wrath," he shouted. "You will find that I am not so easily conquered," he called as he created a large explosion, destroying what was left of Cardia's cathedra. As he stood, he landed. Natsu and Mira managed to stand up as her Satan's soul form started to wear off. "I was born with a high amount of magic power; I could go for days without rest," August told me. "Can you say the same?"
"get back," Natsu shouted as he jumped in front of the two. Mira fell to the ground, her takeover form wearing off. "Mira, you all right" Natsu shouted.
"I'm fine," Mira told him. "Just gotta give me a minute."
"but you do not have that," August shouted as he appeared before her. "Now die," he screamed, only to punch away when Gildarts appeared.
"what" August shouted.
"I think that was a good time to step in, kids," Gildarts laughed.
"Thanks, Gildarts" Mira smiled as she forced herself to her feet."
"Mira," Natsu shouted, "you need to get back."
"no, I'm going to help you," Mira said.
"it's pointless," August shouted,
"It's never pointless," Natsu said. "Standing up for those you love is important no matter what," he said "That's what it means to be a friend; that's what it means to be a protector," he shouted as h and August clashed again "protecting those you love no matter of blood" he screamed.
"it still doesn't answer my question," August shouted as Erza appeared behind him, attempting to attack him. As he blocked her attack, breaking her sword and kicking her away, "Why did the king not love his child," he screamed as he created a large explosion. Natsu jumped away. "Tell me why," he shouted.
"he keeps shouting that at us," Mira said as she tried to force herself to her feet. "Natsu, what's wrong."
"Nothing," Natsu said. "We only have one shot at this."
"Natsu," Erza muttered, "what are you planning."
"get back," Natsu and Mira shouted.
"do you have an answer, children of Magnolia" Agust screamed. "Or do you plan to die"
"We do," Natsu and Mira shouted back.
"interesting," August said. "You have your friend flee when it's clear the two of you are not enough to beat me," August looked down. "your power is not enough."
"your right, Natsu smiled. "But we have a plan b," Natsu smiled.
"So, we'll give you to the count of three," Mira shouted.
"No," Mavis whispered. "Natsu Mira, don't you dare," she shouted.

"what is this" August muttered as Natsu and Mira grabbed hands, their magic power shooting out as August stepped back. "This power is not going to."
"Natsu Mira," Gildarts shouted, "There's no way you've mastered that spell."
"what are they doing" Cana shouted.
"They're going to use it," Laxus said in horror. "They're using Law."
"you honestly believe that this will" he stopped when the ground around them started to glow and looked around. "What is this" August shouted as he backed up. "What are you doing" he shouted as several roots grew from the ground. "What is this power."
"This is the power of the fairy heart," Natsu and Mira shouted, "this is the power of magic purified."
"you dare," August shouted. "Your putrid purified magic will not best me," August screamed as his body glowed again. Turning completely red as he rose from the ground, black magic circles appeared next to him. "Your power will not best me," he screamed. "I am the servant of his majesty," he shouted. "This battle was lost the second he unleashed me upon you," he screamed. "I will graze this land you love so much to the ground and rip the fairy heart myself if I must," he screamed {Ars Magia} he screamed as the ground around them shattered again.
"that spell," Mavis muttered as the roots around them formed a fairy sphere "Natsu Mira," she shouted as the light faded. Natsu and Mira's bodies were gone, and the area around them had been thoroughly cleaned, leaving no trace of the Cathedral ", No," Mavis muttered.
It seems that your power was not enough.
"guess again," Natsu and Mira shouted as they appeared behind him. "What" August shouted as he turned around. "How did you."
"you thought we'd leave ourselves open like that," Mira laughed.
"you must be out of your mind" Natsu smiled as they charged up their magic power.
"Natsu Mira," Gildarts shouted.
"think about this," Mavis shouted.
"no," Wendy shouted as she tried to get up.
"get back," Erza shouted.
"the price of that spell is too high," Mavis shouted. "Let me do it again; just please don't do that to yourselves," she practically begged as Natsu and Mira slammed their hands together, creating a bright light.
"{Law}"
