The plan is to make a series of essays concerning some of the major questions and misconceptions that people have regarding the works of my favourite author of all times: J.R.R. Tolkien. For instance - do Balrogs have wings? What is the difference between orcs and goblins? why didn't the eagles bring frodo to mordor? And what exactly is Tom Bombadil?

The year is 2012 and middle earth has been gone for millenia. But magic is returning to earth.
