This was it. Mulan, who had just graduated from spy school in China, was now in the kingdom of Arrendelle in another country. She and her friend, a Chinese dragon named Mushu, had been sent by the Chinese government to find out what the evil Hans was planning and put a stop to it. As she followed Hans, she took great care to not make a sound, but she soon fell through an icy lake.
"Are you ok?" said Hans pulling her out. "Who are you? And why were you following me?"
Mulan didn't respond.
"Do you speak English?" asked Hans.
Mulan shook her head.
"How can you understand me, then?" said Hans suspiciously. But Mulan was prepared for this. She had learned how to speak Chinese in spy school back in China, and was quite fluent in it. Mulan uttered a sentence in Chinese, and Hans walked away.
"What did you say?" asked Mushu.
"I said 'That ice is not as cold as your heart'," said Mulan.
"Oh."
"Mushu, I thought you knew Chinese!"
"I know a little."
"You were in spy school with me."
"Yeah, but I didn't pay much attention. When I don't want people to know I speak English, I just roar and growl."
"You know what the mission is, though, right?"
"Yeah, to find out what Hans is up to and put a stop to it."
"Right."
To be continued...
