Levy is totally normal about Gajeel's teeth. Absolutely, totally, normal. It's not like they're long and pointy, sharp enough to tear through metal, and practically glow-in-the-dark-white. She stares. She knows she stares, especially when Gajeel eats. There's something just so fascinating about seeing a whole chunk of iron get bitten through like it's a cookie.

When she finally goes over to Gajeel's place for the first time, she gapes as she washes her hands on autopilot. The dragon slayer's toothbrush looks more like steel wool grafted onto a stick than a standard wood handle with bristles on it. It's clearly used, the metal warped and twisted like an old gnarled tree branch. The wood has grooves carved into it as if it caught on Gajeel's teeth as he brushed the back.

Her head felt light and heavy all at once. It made her face burn and her stomach do flip-flops. She was a logical kind of mage. This feeling had no basis in logic no matter how she framed it. Honestly, what was so interesting about Gajeel's teeth anyway? Sure, they poked out from his top lip sometimes and they gleamed in the sun when he growled, but was it really that amazing? (The answer was yes.)

She grew up watching Natsu literally do the exact same things. His teeth flashed and were a little sharper than normal and that's all Levy really thought about them. Maybe it was because she never watched Natsu bite straight through a fork and continue eating like nothing and only realized when he went to stab more food. There was something wrong with her because when he looked at her for staring, she turned maroon and hid behind her book.

She definitely was not thinking about those fangs of his scraping along her neck, not really biting but enough to feel it skate across her jugular- No. Absolutely not. She was Levy McGarden and was very normal about her fellow guildmate's teeth. She never ever imagined said guildmate biting gently into her skin.

She peered over the top of her book in time to see Gajeel snap a piece of iron like it was a cracker and swallow it down. Levy wanted to bang her head on the table. She was so doomed.
