Liones Borderlands (Day)

Coming out of a tent just outside of a dense forest was a strange person. He wore a black kimono and a scarf of energy around his neck. He had deep black skin, white hair, and red eyes with black sclerae. 'They said they'd be back soon.' he thought to himself. Suddenly, a whistling noise alerted him to something falling from the sky.

A giant squid, a giant snake, and a dragon egg were all dropped in front of him. Floating down from the air were the people responsible for collecting them.

The first person was a teenage boy who wore a black shirt with blue patterns of ocean waves on it. He also wore dark blue shorts with a symbol resembling a water droplet on the pant legs. He had black hair ending in blue tips, and his eyes were blue.

The second person was a teenage girl who wore a white and lime-green plaid shirt, as well as a pair of dark green overalls. On her hand was a tattoo in the shape of a leaf. She had messy brown hair and yellow eyes.

The third and final person was a teenage boy clad in a black and white tye-dye shirt and black pants. On the shoulder area of his shirt, there was a very distinct crescent Moon shape. He had white hair and green eyes, as well as a bit of white stubble on his chin and upper lip.

"Where's Dominic?" the girl asked, looking around.

"Back here." the black-skinned boy said, gesturing to the tent. Inside, there was an unconscious blonde teenager. He wore a red hoodie, a black undershirt, torn jeans, and sneakers. Laying on top of him was a small white cat with an oddly spherical body shape.

"Why's he napping? I thought he was going to try and catch a Sky Fish! That's the entire reason we came all the way out here in the first place!" the blue-eyed boy asked, irritated. The cat got off of the blonde and walked up to him, nuzzling his leg.

"Well, since he can't fly, His Majesty attempted to find a Sky Fish by creating and then climbing a mountain." the red-eyed boy pointed to something a few miles in the distance, a giant mountain that nearly touched the clouds. "Unfortunately, once he reached the peak, he fell back down and lost consciousness."

"Of course he did." the girl said, face-palming.

"I'M UP!" the blonde yelled, standing up. When he exited the tent, everyone looked at him with disdain. "What'd I miss?" he asked.

"Ugh, might as well use what we got before it spoils." the blue-eyed boy said, turning to the ingredients they all worked hard to collect. "You're up, brother."

"You got it." the blonde said, approaching the ingredients. His left eye started to glow red as he stomped the ground, sending each item flying into the air. He then raised his arm and blasted the ingredients with a torrent of flames, completely engulfing them. A sword made of red crystal then appeared in his grip, which he repeatedly slashed with before it vanished in a flash of red light. A couple of seconds later, a veritable feast of eggs, calimari, and snake meat landed on a table made of polished stone. "Dinner is served." the boy said, bowing as his eye stopped glowing. As the rest of the group walked toward the table, chairs made of stone appeared from the ground.

After a few minutes of eating, everyone was full and content.

"Your skill with food will never cease to amaze me, Dominic." the girl said to the blonde.

"Well, when you live with my parents, you have to learn to cook in order to survive." Dominic answered. "Don't believe me, Ivy? Mom taught Ruby to make cookies, and my sis has yet to make a single mistake with those instructions."

"To be fair, those cookies are pretty good." the blue-eyed boy said.

"Are you kidding, Gregory? They were packed with enough sugar to make me wonder if she accidentally took classes from Walter White." the green-eyed boy said.

As he watched his brother and Connor argue, Dominic could feel something happening in the forest behind him. 'What the hell?' He got up from his seat and walked toward the trees, eventually entering the forest. Sensing his absence, the cat gave chase.

Borderlands Forest (Day)

"There's something back here, I just know it." Dominic said as he pushed his way through the brush. After a while, he reached a spring. "Are you kidding me? All that walking for THIS!?"

Fairly important fact about Dominic: He can't swim. So, if there was anything of value in the spring, he couldn't reach it.

While he was complaining using words far too descriptive for this site, he failed to notice that the water was glowing. At least, not until the cat bumped into him. "Schrodinger, I thought I told you to stay at the camp- Oh, that is something." he said, finally seeing the piercing white glow of the spring. And in that glow, he could see the unmistakable shape of a winged fish. "A Sky Fish." he realized. But since he himself couldn't enter the spring... He turned to face Schrodinger, picked up the feline, then dropped it in the water.

That disturbance resulted in a flash of light that swallowed everything in a 2-mile radius, including Dominic.

And a few moments later, a blonde boy wearing white robes, a pink shirt, and teal pants came out of the water. "What is this place?" the boy wondered aloud as he walked unknowingly towards the campsite.
