In the town of South Park, two boys walked towards two groups, Tweek started to say goodbye to his adopted older brother, Stan.
- D-don't forget to heat up the coffee when you get back to home!
He made one last request.
- Alright, and adjust your shirt buttons!
Stan replied.
- Come on Stan! It's almost late!
Friend Kyle called the dark haired one.
At school break, Tweak was talking with Tolkien on the patio benches, Butters and Clyde came close and sat next to the two without noticing, until Tweek said something.
- So, Clyde...h-how's life, Clyde?
The blonde asked while he looked nervous.
- Well, dad is making changes in some parts of the house.
- Great.
- So you changed the patio?
Tolkien asks.
- Yeah... someday you'll be able to see it, it's getting better.
Clyde looked to the side to deflect the embarrassment, until he realized that Bebe was calling out to him.
- I am going.
The brunette boy gets out of the chair he was sitting on. After Clyde leaves, Butters asks:
- What happened for you to be adopted by... Stan? I don't quite understand what happened between you and Clyde for him to leave you with Stan.
- Yeah, we thought you wouldn't be able to come back here if they took away your guard from Mr. Donovan.
Friend Tolkien said.
- What?
The blonde anxious boy takes a deep breath.
- W-well... it's a long story, there were some problems we had with the house after that day... finally we agreed that he was starting to go crazy about it and his dad gave up on staying with me at my request, Clyde and I...we fought sometimes, so we agreed that it would be better if...if I stayed at someone else's house.
- Hm, ok, so you're fine with Clyde, aren't you? Sometimes it seems like you're still uncomfortable around each other.
Tolkien said.
- We're fine, so you don't have to worry.

1:40 pm
Tweek arrives at home, where everything is very calm, until in one of the rooms something is heard to fall, it was a sign that Stan had already arrived, so the coffee might still be hot.
The blonde looked for his medicine that he had to take and for the coffee pot. In fact the coffee was lukewarm, the anxious boy heated it a little more in the microwave.
The oldest of the house came down from the room.
- Hi Stan, is everything okay with the chores?
- Yes, I just... I ended up procrastinating, but it's okay, you better go to your studies, we still have to organize the cafeteria.
- Yeah, I... I don't feel like it, but I'm coming.
- You've improved your tics even without taking too many meds, so maybe that's not what we're looking for...maybe it's some therapy or treatment, it's good to know you've improved.
Stan smiled a little weakly, but it was a good smile, it was calm.
- Yeah, I'm also relieved that we managed to keep the school payments, in addition to having help, you managed to hold a lot for someone with 16 years old.
- Yeah... that's weird to think about.
Stan turns to pick up his wallet, a sign that he had already left at some point to fill up the missing bag of coffee.
- I don't know how you're going to solve this, but good luck with those few good things that survived in these years of mess.
Tweek's sudden speech made Stan stop for a moment in the position where he was facing the coffee pot, until Stan turned, making a confident face.
- Right, now let's get the notebook, let's do the homework early today.
--
The two boys were almost finished doing their homework, "I honestly didn't follow the history subject" the youngest thought.
- It's just another page.
- This book suddenly raises questions, it's already clear that IT WAS THAT GUY FROM SERBIA!
Stan laughed a little.
- Like you hate this subject.
- It's t-true... I'm just tired of reading.
- Heh! Now go back to writing!
Tweek looked away for a moment, then finished writing the last reply in his notebook.
- I still can't believe I got permission to live alone and managed to adopt someone in the same year...
Stan cried out, it's not like the dark haired one was a perfect older brother, but the blonde thought how he could help more, because he thought his brother deserved more help for everything he did, maybe if he could save more money to try to improve his life. "It's what I can do, or at least be a good brother" pondered the blond boy.
6 minutes later he finished doing his homework.
- Now you can rest, if you want there's still more coffee.
- Finally!
He smiled, he doesn't always smile like that. Soon he went to the kitchen.
"He's still quite happy in these situations...at least his tics are stopping a little and his anxiety isn't as much as it used to be" thought the brunette, after all, they don't know if they could afford the drugs forever.
Things have changed so much.
Stan was pretty sure he couldn't stand his dad, he was na idiot... at least he did what he thought was right... or so he might think.
"I'll try not to be na idiot! Too bad my mother can't give me advice, I have to get better, even if it's for someone who is not connected to me biologically, my sister barely cared for me. No one will save me anyway", was what was going through almost every day in the brunette's head.
He definitely cut ties.
Well he could also be a good friend.
"Am I a good big brother?"
"Maybe Tweek doesn't even think it matters, he's na orphan who has no one to stay with after all... I'm in almost the same situation."
"At least maybe when we die we'll have good memories, so it's good to try."
Stan pondered to himself.
"Oh! Tears Again"
- Well, it's better to start packing things from the coffee maker.
The phone started ringing, it was Kyle.
- Hello?
- Hi Stan, I just wanted to let you know that your test results are out.
- Thanks, tomorrow I'll get them myself.
- It doesn't seem like it took a year and a half to get this house from you. I still can't believe you managed to leave your parents' house at the age of 16, that doesn't have something to do with your father, does it?
- It's not that much, look, i'm going to meet the coordinator of the store tomorrow, you're ready to take Tweek's duties tomorrow.
- Hmm, well I've already finished the remaining work, so yes, I'm ready to become a tutor for a few hours.
- Excellent! I hope they are all right. I have to take care of things now, thanks for helping us with the trials and documents.
- Well, that's what we could do to help. Bye Stan!
- ...Bye, man.
Stan sighs.
"Am I a good friend?" It's also a recurring question in his head. The brunette went back to packing bags of coffee to go to work, today he would have a lot of work to do at the coffee shop and at the market where he also works.
